Operated groups, differential groups and Rota-Baxter groups with an emphasis on the free objects

Groups with various types of operators, in particular the recently introduced Rota-Baxter groups, have generated renowned interest with close connections to numerical integrals, Yang-Baxter equation, integrable systems and post-Hopf algebras. This paper gives the general notion of operated groups and provides explicit constructions of free operated groups, free differential groups and free Rota-Baxter groups.

Strong Neel ordering and luminescence correlation in a two-dimensional antiferromagnet

Magneto-optical effect has been widely used in light modulation, optical sensing and information storage. Recently discovered two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals layered magnets are considered as promising platforms for investigating novel magneto-optical phenomena and devices, due to the long-range magnetic ordering down to atomically-thin thickness, rich species and tunable properties. However, majority 2D antiferromagnets suffer from low luminescence efficiency which hinders their magneto-optical investigations and applications. Here, we uncover strong light-magnetic ordering interactions in 2D antiferromagnetic MnPS3 utilizing a newly-emerged near-infrared photoluminescence (PL) mode far below its intrinsic bandgap. This ingap PL mode shows strong correlation with the Neel ordering and persists down to monolayer thickness. Combining the DFT, STEM and XPS, we illustrate the origin of the PL mode and its correlation with Neel ordering, which can be attributed to the oxygen ion-mediated states. Moreover, the PL strength can be further tuned and enhanced using ultraviolet-ozone treatment. Our studies offer an effective approach to investigate light-magnetic ordering interactions in 2D antiferromagnetic semiconductors.

An improved Trudinger-Moser inequality involving N-Finsler-Laplacian and L^p norm

Suppose $F: \mathbb{R}^{N} \rightarrow [0, +\infty)$ be a convex function of class $C^{2}(\mathbb{R}^{N} \backslash \{0\})$ which is even and positively homogeneous of degree 1. We denote $γ_1=\inf\limits_{u\in W^{1, N}_{0}(Ω)\backslash \{0\}}\frac{\int_ΩF^{N}(\nabla u)dx}{\| u\|_p^N},$ and define the norm $\|u\|_{N,F,γ, p}=\bigg(\int_ΩF^{N}(\nabla u)dx-γ\| u\|_p^N\bigg)^{\frac{1}{N}}.$ Let $Ω\subset \mathbb{R}^{N}(N\geq 2)$ be a smooth bounded domain. Then for $p> 1$ and $0\leq γ<γ_1$, we have $$ \sup_{u\in W^{1, N}_{0}(Ω), \|u\|_{N,F,γ, p}\leq 1}\int_Ωe^{λ|u|^{\frac{N}{N-1}}}dx<+\infty, $$ where $0<λ\leq λ_{N}=N^{\frac{N}{N-1}} κ_{N}^{\frac{1}{N-1}}$ and $κ_{N}$ is the volume of a unit Wulff ball. Moreover, by using blow-up analysis and capacity technique, we prove that the supremum can be attained for any $0 \leqγ<γ_1$.

Concentration-compactness principle of singular Trudinger-Moser inequality involving $N$-Finsler-Laplacian operator

In this paper, suppose $F: \mathbb{R}^{N} \rightarrow [0, +\infty)$ be a convex function of class $C^{2}(\mathbb{R}^{N} \backslash \{0\})$ which is even and positively homogeneous of degree 1. We establish the Lions type concentration-compactness principle of singular Trudinger-Moser Inequalities involving $N$-Finsler--Laplacian operator. Let $Ω\subset \mathbb{R}^{N}(N\geq 2)$ be a smooth bounded domain. $\{u_n\}\subset W_0^{1, N}(Ω)$ be a sequence such that anisotropic Dirichlet norm$\int_ΩF^N (\nabla u_n)dx=1$, $u_n \rightharpoonup u \not \equiv 0$ weakly in $W_0^{1, N}(Ω)$. Then for any $0 < p < p_N(u):=(1-\int_ΩF^N (\nabla u)dx)^{-\frac{1}{N-1}},$ we have $$ \int_Ω\frac{e^{λ_{N}(1-\fracβ{N})p |u_n|^{\frac{N}{N-1}}}}{F^{o}(x)^β}dx<+\infty, $$ where $0\leqβ<N$, $λ_{N}=N^{\frac{N}{N-1}} κ_{N}^{\frac{1}{N-1}}$ and $κ_{N}$ is the volume of a unit Wulff ball. This conclusion fails if $p \geq p_N(u)$. Furthermore, we also obtain the corresponding concentration-compactness principle in the entire Euclidean space $\mathbb{R}^{N}$.

Distributed Formation Control of Multi-Robot Systems: A Fixed-Time Behavioral Approach

This paper investigates a distributed formation control problem for networked robots, with the global objective of achieving predefined time-varying formations in an environment with obstacles. A novel fixed-time behavioral approach is proposed to tackle the problem, where a global formation task is divided into two local prioritized subtasks, and each of them leads to a desired velocity that can achieve the individual task in a fixed time. Then, two desired velocities are combined via the framework of the null-space-based behavioral projection, leading to a desired merged velocity that guarantees the fixed-time convergence of task errors. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control method is demonstrated by simulation results.
