Modified Cosmic Chaplygin AdS Black Hole

In this paper, we construct a new charged AdS black hole with modified cosmic Chaplygin gas (MCCG). In comparison to the previous model (modified Chaplygin AdS black hole) existed in the literature, we now have two new parameters: the cosmic parameter and the black hole's electric charge. We examine the asymptotically charged AdS black hole thermodynamics with MCCG under the assumption of a negative cosmological constant as a thermodynamics pressure. Using MCCG, we developed a new solution to Einstein's AdS black hole field equations. The mass parameter, volume, electric potential, entropy, and temperature of the charged AdS black hole have all been computed. We also study the various energy conditions for the MCCG as a source fluid of AdS black hole. For some restrictions on the involved parameters, we show that these conditions are met. Then, we study the thermodynamical stability, critical points, and Joule-Thompson expansion for the back hole obtained. We reveal that while the existence of cosmic parameter yields to a complete stable mode, its absence gives rise to some unstable regions. Then, using MCCG, we treat the obtained black hole's thermodynamics as a heat engine and calculate the work done as well as the heat engine's maximum efficiency in the Carnot cycle. The work done, the efficiency, and the Rankine cycle's efficiency are also investigated. All of the findings are graphically depicted and discussed.

Reconstruction of DBI-essence dark energy with f(R) gravity and its effect on black hole and wormhole mass accretion

In this paper, we have used the reconstructed DBI-essence dark energy density to modify the mass accretions of black holes and wormholes. In general, the black hole mass accretion does not depend on the metric or local Einstein geometry. That is why we have used a generalized mechanism by reconstructing the DBI-essence dark energy reconstruction with f(R) gravity. We have used some particular forms of the scale factor to analyze the accretion phenomena. We have shown the effect of cosmic evolution in the proper time variation of black hole mass accretion. Finally, we have studied the validity of energy conditions and analyzed the type I - IV singularities for our reconstructed model.

The General Class of Accelerating, Rotating and Charged Plebanski-Demianski Black Holes as Heat Engine

We first review the general class of accelerating, rotating and charged Plebanski-Demianski (PD) black holes in presence of cosmological constant, which includes the Kerr-Newman rotating black hole and the Taub-NUT spacetime. We assume that the thermodynamical pressure may be described by the negative cosmological constant and so the black hole represents anti-de Sitter (AdS) PD black hole. The thermodynamic quantities like surface area, entropy, volume, temperature, Gibb's and Helmholtz's free energies of the AdS PD black hole are obtained due to the thermodynamic system. Next we find the critical point and corresponding critical pressure, critical temperature and critical volume for AdS PD black hole. Due to the study of specific heat capacity, we obtain ${\cal C}_{V}=0$ and ${\cal C}_{P}\ge 0$. From this result, we conclude that the AdS PD black hole may be stable. We examine the Joule-Thomson expansion of PD black hole and by evaluating the sign of Joule-Thomson coefficient $μ$, we determine the heating and cooling nature of PD black hole. Putting $μ=0$, we find the inversion temperature. Next we study the heat engine for AdS PD black hole. In Carnot cycle, we obtain the work done and its maximum efficiency. Also we describe the work done and its efficiency for a new engine. Finally, we analyze the efficiency for the Rankine cycle in PD black hole heat engine.

Generalized Ghost Dark Energy in DGP Model

In 2000, Giorgi Dvali, Gregory Gabadadze and Massimo Porrati (Dvali et al. 2000) was proposed a new braneworld model named as DGP model, having two branches with $(ε=+1)$ and $(ε=-1)$. Former one $(~ε=+1)$ known as the accelerating branch, i.e. accelerating phase of the universe can be explained without adding cosmological constant or Dark energy, whereas later one represents the decelerating branch. Here we have investigated the behavior of decelerating branch $(i.e.~ε=-1)$ of DGP model with Generalized Ghost Dark Energy (GGDE). Aim of our study to find a stable solution of the universe in DGP model. To find a stable solution we have studied the behavior of different cosmological parameters such as Hubble parameter, equation of state (EoS) parameter and deceleration parameter with respect to scale factor. Then we have analysed the $ω_{D}-\acute{ω_{D}}$ to confirm no freezing region of our present study and point out thawing region. Furthermore we have checked the gradient of stability by calculating the squared sound speed. Then we extend our study to check the viability of this model under investigation through the analysis of statefinder diagnosis parameters for the present cosmological setup.

Dynamics of Particles Around a Regular Black Hole with Nonlinear Electrodynamics

We investigate the dynamics of a charged particle being kicked off from its circular orbit around a regular black hole by an incoming massive particle in the presence of magnetic field. The resulting escape velocity, escape energy and the effective potential is analyzed. It is shown that the presence of even a very weak magnetic field helps the charged particles in escaping the gravitational field of the black hole. Moreover the effective force acting on the particle visibly reduces with distance. Thus particle near the black hole will experience higher effective force as compared to when it is far away.

Effects of Thermal Fluctuations on the Thermodynamics of Modified Hayward Black Hole

In this work, we analyze the effects of thermal fluctuations on the thermodynamics of a modified Hayward black hole. These thermal fluctuations will produce correction terms for various thermodynamic quantities like entropy, pressure, inner energy and specific heats. We also investigate the effect of these correction terms on the first law of thermodynamics. Finally, we study the phase transition for the modified Hayward black hole. It is demonstrated that the modified Hayward black hole is stable even after the thermal fluctuations are taken into account, as long as the event horizon is larger than a certain critical value.

Reconstructions of $f(T)$ Gravity from Entropy Corrected Holographic and New Agegraphic Dark Energy Models in Power-law and Logarithmic Versions

Here, we peruse cosmological usage of the most promising candidates of dark energy in the framework of $f(T)$ gravity theory. We reconstruct the different $f(T)$ modifed gravity models in the spatially flat FRW universe according to entropy-corrected versions of the holographic and new agegraphic dark energy models in power-law and logarithmic corrections, which describe accelerated expansion history of the universe. We conclude that the equation of state parameter of the entropy-corrected models can transit from quintessence state to phantom regime as indicated by recent observations or can lie entirely in the phantom region. Also, using these models, we investigate the different erase of the stability with the help of the squared speed of sound.

Accretion and Evaporation of Modified Hayward Black Hole

First we have assumed the most general static spherically symmetric black hole metric. The accretion of any general kind of fluid flow around the black hole have been investigated. The accretion of fluid flow around the modified Hayward black hole have been analyzed and we then calculated the critical point, fluid 4 velocity and velocity of sound during accretion process. Also the nature of the dynamical mass of black hole during accretion of fluid flow and taking into consideration of Hawking radiation from black hole i.e., evaporation of black hole have been analyzed.

Accretions of Dark Matter and Dark Energy onto ($n+2$)-dimensional Schwarzschild Black Hole and Morris-Thorne Wormhole

We have studied accretion of the dark matter and dark energy onto of $(n+2)$-dimensional Schwarzschild black hole and Morris-Thorne wormhole. The mass and the rate of change of mass for $(n+2)$-dimensional Schwarzschild black hole and Morris-Thorne wormhole have been found. We have assumed some candidates of dark energy like holographic dark energy, new agegraphic dark energy, quintessence, tachyon, DBI-essence, etc. The black hole mass and the wormhole mass have been calculated in term of redshift when dark matter and above types of dark energies accrete onto them separately. We have shown that the black hole mass increases and wormhole mass decreases for holographic dark energy, new agegraphic dark energy, quintessence, tachyon accretion and the slope of increasing/decreasing of mass sensitively depends on the dimension. But for DBI-essence accretion, the black hole mass first increases and then decreases and the wormhole mass first decreases and then increases and the slope of increasing/decreasing of mass not sensitively depends on the dimension.

Entropy Bound of Horizons for Accelerating, Rotating and Charged Plebanski-Demianski Black Hole

We first review the accelerating, rotating and charged Plebanski-Demianski (PD) black hole, which includes the Kerr-Newman rotating black hole and the Taub-NUT spacetime. The main feature of this black hole is that it has 4 horizons like event horizon, Cauchy horizon and two accelerating horizons. In the non-extremal case, the surface area, entropy, surface gravity, temperature, angular velocity, Komar energy and irreducible mass on the event horizon and Cauchy horizon are presented for PD black hole. The entropy product, temperature product, Komar energy product and irreducible mass product are found for event horizon and Cauchy horizon. Also their sums are also found for both horizons. All these relations are found to be depend on mass of the PD black hole and other parameters. So all the products are not universal for PD black hole. The entropy and area bounds for two horizons are investigated. Also we found the Christodoulou-Ruffini mass for extremal PD black hole. Finally, using first law of thermodynamics, we also found the Smarr relation for PD black hole.

Generalized Second Law of Thermodynamics for Non-canonical Scalar Field Model with Corrected-Entropy

In this work, we have considered a non-canonical scalar field dark energy model in the framework of flat FRW background. It has also been assumed that the dark matter sector interacts with the non-canonical dark energy sector through some interaction term. Using the solutions for this interacting non-canonical scalar field dark energy model, we have investigated the validity of generalized second law (GSL) of thermodynamics in various scenarios using first law and area law of thermodynamics. For this purpose, we have assumed two types of horizons viz apparent horizon and event horizon for the universe and using first law of thermodynamics, we have examined the validity of GSL on both apparent and event horizons. Next, we have considered two types of entropy-corrections on apparent and event horizons. Using the modified area law, we have examined the validity of GSL of thermodynamics on apparent and event horizons under some restrictions of model parameters.

Particles Collision near Kerr-Sen Dilaton-Axion Black Hole

Here we consider static, axially symmetric, rotating and charged Kerr-Sen Dilaton-Axion black hole metric in generalized Boyer-Lindquist coordinates as particle accelerators. We obtain the geodesic motions of particle. We find the effective potential and discuss the circular orbit of a particle. We investigate the center of mass energy of two colliding neutral particles with different rest masses falling from rest at infinity to near the non-extremal horizons (event horizon and Cauchy horizon) and extremal horizon of the Kerr-Sen black hole. Analogous to the Compton process, we discuss the collision of a particle and a massless photon. Finally, we find the center of mass energy due to the collision of two photons in the background of Kerr-Sen black hole.

Spherical Top-Hat Collapse of Viscous Modified Chaplygin Gas in Einstein's Gravity and Loop Quantum Cosmology

In this work, we focus on the collapse of a spherically symmetric perturbation, with a classical top-hat profile, to study the nonlinear evolution of only viscous modified Chaplygin gas (VMCG) perturbations in Einstein's gravity as well as in loop quantum Cosmology (LQC). In the perturbed region, we have investigated the natures of equation of state parameter, square speed of sound and another perturbed quantities. The results have been analyzed by numerical and graphical investigations.

Accretion of Dark Energy onto Higher Dimensional Charged BTZ Black Hole

In this work, we have studied the accretion of $(n+2)$-dimensional charged BTZ black hole (BH). The critical point and square speed of sound have been obtained. The mass of the BTZ BH has been calculated and we have observed that the mass of the BTZ BH is related with square root of the energy density of dark energy which accretes onto BH in our accelerating FRW universe. We have assumed modified Chaplygin gas (MCG) as a candidate of dark energy which accretes onto BH and we have found the expression of BTZ BH mass. Since in our solution of MCG, this model generates only quintessence dark energy (not phantom) and so BTZ BH mass increases during the whole evolution of the accelerating universe. Next we have assumed 5 kinds of parametrizations of well known dark energy models. These models generate both quintessence and phantom scenarios i.e., phantom crossing models. So if these dark energies accrete onto the BTZ BH, then in quintessence stage, BH mass increases upto a certain value (finite value) and then decreases to a certain finite value for phantom stage during whole evolution of the universe. We have shown these results graphically.

Constraining Parameters of Generalized Cosmic Chaplygin Gas in Loop Quantum Cosmology

We have assumed the FRW universe in loop quantum cosmology (LQC) model filled with the dark matter and the Generalized Cosmic Chaplygin gas (GCCG) type dark energy where dark matter follows the linear equation of state. We present the Hubble parameter in terms of the observable parameters $Ω_{m0}$ and $H_{0}$ with the redshift $z$ and the other parameters like $A$, $B$, $w_{m}$, $ ω$ and $α$ which coming from our model. From Stern data set (12 points)\& SNe Type Ia 292 data (from \cite{Riess1,Riess2,Astier}) we have obtained the bounds of the arbitrary parameters by minimizing the $χ^{2}$ test. The best-fit values of the parameters are obtained by 66\%, 90\% and 99\% confidence levels. Next due to joint analysis with Stern+BAO and Stern+BAO+CMB observations, we have also obtained the bounds of the parameters ($A,B$) by fixing some other parameters $α$, $w_{m}$ and $ω$. From the best fit values of the parameters, we have obtained the distance modulus $μ(z)$ for our theoretical GCCG model in LQC and from Supernovae Type Ia (union2 sample 552 data from [\cite{Amanullah}] \& Riess 292 data from [\cite{Riess1,Riess2,Astier}]), we have concluded that our model is in agreement with the Supernovae Type Ia sample data. In addition, we have investigated in details about the various types of Future Singularities that may be formed in this model and it is notable that our model is completely free from any types of future singularities.

Gravitational Collapse In Husain Space-time For Brans-Dicke Gravity Theory with Power-law Potential

The motive of this work is to study gravitational collapse in Husain space-time in Brans-Dicke gravity theory. Among many scalar-tensor theories of gravity, Brans-Dicke is the simplest and the impact of it can be regulated by two parameters associated with it, namely, the Brans-Dicke parameter, $ω$, and the potential-scalar field dependency parameter $n$ respectively. V. Husain's work on exact solution for null fluid collapse in 1996 has influenced many authors to follow his way to find the end-state of the homogeneous/in-homogeneous dust cloud. Vaidya's metric is used all over to follow the nature of future outgoing radial null geodesics. Detecting whether the central singularity is naked or wrapped by an event horizon, by the existence of future directed radial null geodesic emitted in past from the singularity is the basic objective. To point out the existence of positive trajectory tangent solution, both particular parametric cases(through tabular forms) and wide range contouring process have been applied. Precisely, perfect fluid's EoS satisfies a wide range of phenomena : from dust to exotic fluid like dark energy. We have used the EoS parameter $k$ to determine the end state of collapse in different cosmological era. Our main target is to check low $ω$ (more deviations from Einstein gravity-more Brans Dicke effect) and negative $k$ zones. This particularly throws light on the nature of the end-state of collapse in accelerated expansion in Brans Dicke gravity. It is seen that for positive values of EoS parameter $k$, the collapse results in a black hole, whereas for negative values of $k$, naked singularity is the only outcome. It is also to be noted that "low $ω$" leads to the possibility of getting more naked singularities even for a non-accelerating universe.

Gravitational Collapse In Vaidya Space-time For Galileon Gravity Theory

The motive of this work is to study gravitational collapse in Vaidya space-time embedded in Galileon gravity theory. Galileon gravity is in fact an infrared modification of Einstein gravity, which was proposed as a generalization of the 4D effective theory in DGP brane model. Vaidya's metric is used all over to follow the nature of future outgoing radial null geodesics. Detecting whether the central singularity is naked or wrapped by an event horizon, by the existence of future directed radial null geodesic emitted in past from the singularity is the basic objective. To point out the existence of positive trajectory tangent solution, both particular parametric cases (through tabular forms) and wide range contouring process have been applied. Precisely, the EoS in perfect fluid satisfies a wide range of phenomena: from dust to exotic fluid like dark energy. We have used the EoS parameter $k$ to determine the end collapse state in different cosmological era.

Gravitational Collapse With Dark Energy And Dark Matter In Hořava-Lifshitz Gravity

In this work, the collapsing process of a spherically symmetric star, made of dust cloud, is studied in Hořava Lifshitz gravity in the background of Chaplygin gas dark energy. Two different classes of Chaplygin gas, namely, New variable modified Chaplygin gas and generalized cosmic Chaplygin gas are considered for the collapse study. Graphs are drawn to characterize the nature and to determine the possible outcome of gravitational collapse. A comparative study is done between the collapsing process in the two different dark energy models. It is found that for open and closed universe, collapse proceeds with an increase in black hole mass, the only constraint being that, relatively smaller values of $Λ$ has to be considered in comparison to $λ$. But in case of flat universe, possibility of the star undergoing a collapse in highly unlikely. Moreover it is seen that the most favourable environment for collapse is achieved when a combination of dark energy and dark matter is considered, both in the presence and absence of interaction. Finally, it is to be seen that, contrary to our expectations, the presence of dark energy does not really hinder the collapsing process in case of Hořava-Lifshitz gravity.

Reconstruction of $f(G)$ gravity with ordinary and entropy-corrected $(m,n)$ type Holographic dark energy model

We have discussed the correspondence of the well-accepted $f(G)$ gravity theory with two dark energy models : $(m,n)$-type holographic dark energy [$(m,n)$-type HDE] and entropy-corrected $(m,n)$-type holographic dark energy. For this purpose, we have considered the power law form of the scale factor $a(t)=a_{0}t^{p}, p>1$. The reconstructed $f(G)$ in these models have been found and the models in both cases are found to be realistic. We have also discussed the classical stability issues in both models. The $(m,n)$-type HDE and its entropy-corrected versions are more stable than the ordinary HDE model.

Reconstruction of Einstein-Aether Gravity from other Modified Gravity Models

We briefly describe the modified Friedmann equations for Einstein-Aether gravity theory and we find the effective density and pressure. The purpose of our present work is to reconstruction of Einstein-Aether Gravity from other modified gravities like $f(T)$, $f(R)$, $f(G)$, $f(R,T)$ and $f(R,G)$ and check its viability. The scale factor is chosen in power law form. The free function $F(K)$ for Einstein-Aether gravity (where $K$ is proportional to $H^{2}$) have been found in terms for $K$ by the correspondence between Einstein-Aether gravity and other modified gravities and the nature of $F(K)$ vs $K$ have been shown graphically for every cases. Finally, we analyzed the stability of each reconstructed Einstein-Aether gravity model.

Study of Some Parameters of Modified Chaplygin Gas in Galileon Gravity Theory from Observational Perspective

We have assumed the FRW model of the universe in Galileon gravity, which is filled with dark matter and Modified Chaplygin gas (MCG) type dark energy. We present the Hubble parameter in terms of some unknown parameters and observational parameters with the redshift $z$. Some cosmological parameters are reconstructed and plots are generated to study the nature of the model and its viability. It is seen that the model is perfectly consistent with the present cosmic acceleration. From \textit{observed Hubble data (OHD) set or Stern data set} of 12 points, we have obtained the bounds of the arbitrary parameters ($A,B$) & ($A,C$) by minimizing the $χ^{2}$ test. Next due to joint analysis of \textit{Stern+BAO} and \textit{Stern+BAO+CMB} observations, we have also obtained the best fit values and the bounds of the parameters ($A,B$) & ($A,C$) by fixing some other parameters. The best-fit values and bounds of the parameters are obtained with 66%, 90% and 99% confidence levels for \textit{Stern, Stern+BAO and Stern+BAO+CMB} joint analysis. Next we have also taken type Ia supernovae data set (union 2 data set with 557 data points). The distance modulus $μ(z)$ against redshift $z$ for our theoretical MCG model in Galileon gravity have been tested for the best fit values of the parameters and the observed \textit{SNe Ia union 2 data} sample and from this, we have concluded that our model is in agreement with the union 2 sample data.

Accretions of Various Types of Dark Energies onto Morris-Thorne Wormhole

In this work, we have studied accretion of the dark energies onto Morris-Thorne wormhole. For quintessence like dark energy, the mass of the wormhole decreases and phantom like dark energy, the mass of wormhole increases. We have assumed two types of dark energy like variable modified Chaplygin gas (VMCG) and generalized cosmic Chaplygin gas (GCCG). We have found the expression of wormhole mass in both cases. We have found the mass of the wormhole at late universe and this is finite. For our choices the parameters and the function $B(a)$, these models generate only quintessence dark energy (not phantom) and so wormhole mass decreases during evolution of the universe. Next we have assumed 5 kinds of parametrizations of well known dark energy models. These models generate both quintessence and phantom scenarios. So if these dark energies accrete onto the wormhole, then for quintessence stage, wormhole mass decreases upto a certain value (finite value) and then again increases to infinite value for phantom stage during whole evolution of the universe. We also shown these results graphically.

Constraining Red-shift Parametrization Parameters in Brans-Dicke Theory: Evolution of Open Confidence Contours

In Brans Dicke theory of gravity, from the nature of the scalar field-potential considered, the dark energy, dark matter, radiation densities predicted by different observations and the closedness of the universe considered, we can fix our $ω_{BD}$, the Brans Dicke parameter, keeping only the thing in mind that from different solar system constrains it must be greater than $5\times 10^{5}$. Once we have a value, satisfying the required lower boundary, in our hand we proceed for setting unknown parameters of the different dark energy models' EoS parameter. In this paper we work with three well known red shift parametrizations of dark energy EoS. To constrain their free parameters for Brans Dicke theory of gravity we take twelve point red shift vs Hubble's parameter data and perform $χ^{2}$ test. We present the observational data analysis mechanism for Stern, Stern+BAO and Stern+BAO+CMB observations. Minimising $χ^2$, we obtain the best fit values and draw different confidence contours. We analyze the contours physically. Also we examine the best fit of distance modulus for our theoretical models and the Supernovae Type Ia Union2 sample. For Brans Dicke theory of gravity the difference from the mainstream confidence contouring method of data analysis id that the confidence contours evolved are not at all closed contours like a circle or a ellipse. Rather they are found to be open contours allowing the free parameters to float inside a infinite region of parameter space. However, negative EoSs are likely to evolve from the best fit values.

Reconstructing Einstein-Aether Gravity from Ordinary and Entropy-Corrected Holographic and New Agegraphic Dark Energy Models

Here we briefly discuss the Einstein-Aether gravity theory by modification of Einstein-Hilbert action. We find the modified Friedmann equations and then from the equations we find the effective density and pressure for Einstein-Aether gravity sector. These can be treated as dark energy provided some restrictions on the free function $F(K)$, where $K$ is proportional to $H^{2}$. Assuming two types of the power law solutions of the scale factor, we have reconstructed the unknown function $F(K)$ from HDE and NADE and their entropy-corrected versions (ECHDE and ECNADE). We also obtain the EoS parameter for Einstein-Aether gravity dark energy. For HDE and NADE, we have shown that the type I scale factor generates the quintessence scenario only and type II scale factor generates phantom scenario. But for ECHDE and ECNADE, the both types of scale factors can accommodate the transition from quintessence to phantom stages i.e., phantom crossing is possible for entropy corrected terms of HDE and NADE models. Finally, we show that the models are classically unstable.

Accretion of New Variable Modified Chaplygin Gas and Generalized Cosmic Chaplygin Gas onto Schwarzschild and Kerr-Newman Black holes

We find the expression of the critical four velocity component which gradually decreases for the fluid flow towards the Schwarzschild as well as Kerr-Newman Black hole. We also find the expression for change of masses of the black hole in both cases. For the Kerr-Newman black hole which is rotating and charged we calculate the specific angular momentum and total angular momentum. We showed that in both cases due to accretion of the dark energy mass of the black hole increases and angular momentum increases in case of Kerr-Newman black hole.

Dynamical Study of DBI-essence in Loop Quantum Cosmology and Braneworld

We have studied homogeneous isotropic FRW model having dynamical dark energy DBI-essence with scalar field. The existence of cosmological scaling solutions restricts the Lagrangian of the scalar field $ϕ$. Choosing $p=X g(X e^{λϕ})$, where $X=-g^{μν} \partial_μϕ\partial_νϕ/2$ with $g$ is any function of $X e^{λϕ}$ and defining some suitable transformations, we have constructed the dynamical system in different gravity: (i) Loop Quantum Cosmology (LQC), (ii) DGP BraneWorld and (iii) RS-II Brane World. We have investigated the stability of this dynamical system around the critical point for three gravity models and investigated the scalar field dominated attractor solution in support of accelerated universe. The role of physical parameters have also been shown graphically during accelerating phase of the universe.

Dynamics of Modified Chaplygin Gas in Brane World Scenario: Phase Plane Analysis

In this work we investigate the background dynamics when dark energy is coupled to dark matter with a suitable interaction in the universe described by brane cosmology. Here DGP and the RSII brane models have been considered separately. Dark energy in the form of modified Chaplygin gas is considered. A suitable interaction between dark energy and dark matter is considered in order to at least alleviate (if not solve) the cosmic coincidence problem. The dynamical system of equations is solved numerically and a stable scaling solution is obtained. A significant attempt towards the solution of the cosmic coincidence problem is taken. The statefinder parameters are also calculated to classify the dark energy models. Graphs and phase diagrams are drawn to study the variations of these parameters. It is also seen that the background dynamics of modified Chaplygin gas is completely consistent with the notion of an accelerated expansion in the late universe. Finally, it has been shown that the universe in both the models follows the power law form of expansion around the critical point, which is consistent with the known results.

Generalized Second Law of Thermodynamics for FRW Cosmology with Power-Law Entropy Correction

In this work, we have considered the power law correction of entropy on the horizon. If the flat FRW Universe is filled with the n components fluid with interactions, the GSL of thermodynamics for apparent and event horizons have been investigated for equilibrium and non-equilibrium cases. If we consider a small perturbation around the de Sitter space-time, the general conditions of the validity of GSL have been found. Also if a phantom dominated Universe has a polelike type scale factor, the validity of GSL has also been analyzed. Further we have obtained constraints on the power-law parameter α in the phantom and quintessence dominated regimes. Finally we obtain conditions under which GSL breaks down in a cosmological background.

Nature of singularity formed by the gravitational collapse in Husain space-time with electromagnetic field and scalar field

In this work, we have investigated the outcome of gravitational collapse in Husain space-time in the presence of electro-magnetic and a scalar field with potential. In order to study the nature of the singularity, global behavior of radial null geodesics have been taken into account. The nature of singularities formed has been thoroughly studied for all possible variations of the parameters. These choices of parameters has been presented in tabular form in various dimensions. It is seen that irrespective of whatever values of the parameters chosen, the collapse always results in a naked singularity in all dimensions. There is less possibility of formation of a black hole. Hence this work is a significant counterexample of the cosmic censorship hypothesis.

Observational Constraints of Homogeneous Higher Dimensional Cosmology with Modified Chaplygin Gas

In this work, we have considered the flat FRW model of the universe in $(n+2)$-dimensions filled with the dark matter (perfect fluid with negligible pressure) and the modified Chaplygin gas (MCG) type dark energy. We present the Hubble parameter in terms of the observable parameters $Ω_{m0}$, $Ω_{x0}$ and $H_{0}$ with the redshift $z$ and the other parameters like $A$, $B$, $C$, $n$ and $α$. From Stern data set (12 points), we have obtained the bounds of the arbitrary parameters by minimizing the $χ^{2}$ test. The best-fit values of the parameters are obtained by 66%, 90% and 99% confidence levels. Now to find the bounds of the parameters and to draw the statistical confidence contour, we first fixed three parameters $C, n, α$ and then fixed the three parameters $A, n, α$. In the first case we find the bounds of $(A, B)$ and draw the contour between them for 4D$(n=2)$, 5D$(n=3)$ and 6D$(n=4)$. In the second case we fixed three different values of A as 1, 1/3, -1/3 to find the bounds of $(B, C)$ and draw the contour between them. Here the parameter $n$ determines the higher dimensions and we perform comparative study between three cases : 4D $(n=2)$, 5D $(n=3)$ and 6D $(n=4)$ respectively. Next due to joint analysis with BAO observation, we have also obtained the bounds of the parameters ($A,B$) by fixing some other parameters $α$ and $A$ for 4D, 5D and 6D.

From Stern data set (12 points), we have obtained the bounds of the arbitrary parameters by minimizing the $χ^{2}$ test. The best-fit values of the parameters are obtained by 66%, 90% and 99% confidence levels. Next due to joint analysis with BAO and CMB observations, we have also obtained the bounds of the parameters ($B,C$) by fixing some other parameters $α$ and $A$. From the best fit of distance modulus $μ(z)$ for our theoretical MCG model in LQC, we concluded that our model is in agreement with the union2 sample data.

Observational Constraints of New Variable Modified Chaplygin Gas Model

Assuming the flat FRW universe in Einstein's gravity filled with New Variable Modified Chaplygin gas (NVMCG) dark energy and dark matter having negligible pressure. In this research work we analyze the viability on the basis of recent observation. Hubble parameter $H$ is expressed in terms of the observable parameters $H_0$, $Ω_m^0$ and the model parameters $A_0$, $B_0$, $C_0$, $m$, $n$, $α$ and the red shift parameter $z$. Here we find a best fitted parameter range of $A_0$, $B_0$ keeping $0\leq α\leq 1$ and using Stern data set (12 points) by minimizing the $χ^2$ test at 66%, 90% and 99% confidence levels. Next we do the joint analysis with BAO and CMB observations. Again evaluating the distance modulus $μ(z)$ vs redshift ($z$) curve obtained in the model NVMCG with dark matter with the best fitted value of the parameters and comparing with that derived from the union2 compilation data.

Periodic Cosmological Evolutions of Equation of State for Dark Energy

We demonstrate two periodic or quasi-periodic generalizations of the Chaplygin gas (CG) type models to explain the origins of dark energy as well as dark matter by using the Weierstrass $\wp(t)$, $σ(t)$ and $ζ(t)$ functions with two periods being infinite. If the universe can evolve periodically, a non-singular universe can be realized. Furthermore, we examine the cosmological evolution and nature of the equation of state (EoS) of dark energy in the Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker cosmology. It is explicitly illustrated that there exist three type models in which the universe always stays in the non-phantom (quintessence) phase, whereas it always evolves in the phantom phase, or the crossing of the phantom divide can be realized. The scalar fields and the corresponding potentials are also analyzed for different types of models.

Presence of Dark Energy and Dark Matter : Does Cosmic Acceleration signifies a Weak Gravitational collapse?

In this work the collapsing process of a spherically symmetric star, made of dust cloud, in the background of dark energy is studied for two different gravity theories separately, i.e., DGP Brane gravity and Loop Quantum gravity. Two types of dark energy fluids, namely, Modified Chaplygin gas and Generalised Cosmic Chaplygin gas are considered for each model. Graphs are drawn to characterize the nature and the probable outcome of gravitational collapse. A comparative study is done between the collapsing process in the two different gravity theories. It is found that in case of dark matter, there is a great possibility of collapse and consequent formation of Black hole. In case of dark energy possibility of collapse is far lesser compared to the other cases, due to the large negative pressure of dark energy component. There is an increase in mass of the cloud in case of dark matter collapse due to matter accumulation. The mass decreases considerably in case of dark energy due to dark energy accretion on the cloud. In case of collapse with a combination of dark energy and dark matter, it is found that in the absence of interaction there is a far better possibility of formation of black hole in DGP brane model compared to Loop quantum cosmology model.

Study of Generalized Second Law of Thermodynamics in Loop Quantum Cosmology with the Effect of Non-Linear Electrodynamics

In this work, we have discussed the Maxwell's electrodynamics in non-linear forms in FRW universe. The energy density and pressure for non-linear electrodynamics have been written in the electro-magnetic universe. The Einstein's field equations for flat FRW model in loop quantum cosmology have been considered if the universe is filled with the matter and electro-magnetic field. We separately assumed the magnetic universe and electric universe. The interaction between matter and magnetic field have been considered in one section and for some particular form of interaction term, we have found the solutions of magnetic field and the energy density of matter. We have also considered the interaction between the matter and electric field and another form of interaction term has been chosen to solve the field equations. The validity of generalized second law of thermodynamics has been investigated on apparent and event horizons using Gibb's law and the first law of thermodynamics for magnetic and electric universe separately.

Thermodynamics in Higher Dimensional Vaidya Space-Time

In this work, we have considered the Vaidya spacetime in null radiating fluid with perfect fluid in higher dimension and have found the solution for barotropic fluid. We have shown that the Einstein's field equations can be obtained from Unified first law i.e., field equations and unified first law are equivalent. The first law of thermodynamics has also been constructed by Unified first law. From this, the variation of entropy function has been derived on the horizon. The variation of entropy function inside the horizon has been derived using Gibb's law of thermodynamics. So the total variation of entropy function has been constructed at apparent and event horizons both. If we do not assume the first law, then the entropy on the both horizons can be considered by area law and the variation of total entropy has been found at both the horizons. Also the validity of generalized second law (GSL) of thermodynamics has been examined at both apparent and event horizons by using the first law and the area law separately. When we use first law of thermodynamics and Bekenstein-Hawking area law of thermodynamics, the GSL for apparent horizon in any dimensions are satisfied, but the GSL for event horizon can not be satisfied in any dimensions.

Thermodynamics of an Evolving Lorentzian Wormhole with Entropy Corrections

In this work, we study the generalized second law of thermodynamics (GSL) at the apparent horizon of an evolving Lorentzian wormhole. We obtain the expressions of thermal variables at the apparent horizon. Choosing the two well-known entropy functions i.e. power-law and logarithmic, we obtain the expressions of GSL. We have analyzed the GSL using a power-law form of scale factor $a(t)=a_0t^n$ and the special form of shape function $b(r)=\frac{b_{0}}{r}$. It is shown that GSL is valid in the evolving wormhole spacetime for both choices of entropies if the power-law exponent is small, but for large values of $n$, the GSL is satisfied at initial stage and after certain stage of the evolution of the wormhole, it violates.

Thermodynamics of Evolving Lorentzian Wormhole at Apparent and Event Horizons

We have investigated the non-static Lorentzian Wormhole model in presence of anisotropic pressure. We have presented some exact solutions of Einstein equations for anisotropic pressure case. Introducing two EoS parameters we have shown that these solutions give very rich dynamics of the universe yielding to the different expansion history of it in the $r$ - direction and in the $T$ - direction. The corresponding explicit forms of the shape function $b(r)$ is presented. We have shown that the Einstein's field equations and unified first law are equivalent for the dynamical wormhole model. The first law of thermodynamics has been derived by using the Unified first law. The physical quantities including surface gravity and the temperature are derived for the wormhole. Here we have obtained all the results without any choice of the shape function. The validity of generalized second law (GSL) of thermodynamics has been examined at apparent and event horizons for the evolving Lorentzian wormhole.

Variable $G$ Correction for Dark Energy Model in Higher Dimensional Cosmology

In this work, we have considered $N (=4+d)$-dimensional Einstein field equations in which 4-dimensional space-time which is described by a FRW metric and that of the extra $d$-dimensions by an Euclidean metric. We have calculated the corrections to statefinder parameters due to variable gravitational constant $G$ in higher dimensional Cosmology. We have considered two special cases whether dark energy and dark matter interact or not. In a universe where gravitational constant is dynamic, the variable $G$-correction to statefinder parameters is inevitable. The statefinder parameters are also obtained for generalized Chaplygin gas in the effect of the variation of $G$ correction.

In this work, we have consider Kaluza-Klein Cosmology for anisotropic universe where the universe is filled with variable modified chaplygin gas (VMCG). Here we find normal scalar field $ϕ$ and the self interacting potential $V(ϕ)$ to describe the VMCG Cosmology. Also we graphically analyzed the geometrical parameters named {\it statefinder parameters} in anisotropic Kaluza-Klein model. Next, we consider a Kaluza-Klein model of interacting VMCG with dark matter in the Einstein gravity framework. Here we construct the three dimensional autonomous dynamical system of equations for this interacting model with the assumption that the dark energy and the dark matter are interact between them and for that we also choose the interaction term. We convert that interaction terms to its dimensionless form and perform stability analysis and solve them numerically. We obtain a stable scaling solution of the equations in Kaluza-Klein model and graphically represent solutions.

A Dark Energy Model with Generalized Uncertainty Principle in the Emergent, Intermediate and Logamediate Scenarios of the Universe

This work is motivated by the work of Kim et al (2008), which considered the equation of state parameter for the new agegraphic dark energy based on generalized uncertainty principle coexisting with dark matter without interaction. In this work, we have considered the same dark energy inter- acting with dark matter in emergent, intermediate and logamediate scenarios of the universe. Also, we have investigated the statefinder, kerk and lerk parameters in all three scenarios under this inter- action. The energy density and pressure for the new agegraphic dark energy based on generalized uncertainty principle have been calculated and their behaviors have been investigated. The evolu- tion of the equation of state parameter has been analyzed in the interacting and non-interacting situations in all the three scenarios. The graphical analysis shows that the dark energy behaves like quintessence era for logamediate expansion and phantom era for emergent and intermediate expansions of the universe.

Correspondence between DBI-essence and Modified Chaplygin Gas and the Generalized Second Law of Thermodynamics

In this work, we have considered the DBI-essence dark energy model in FRW Universe. We have found the exact solutions of potential, warped brane tension and DBI scalar field. We also calculate the statefinder parameters for our model that make it distinguishable among numerous dark energy models. Moreover, we establish correspondence between DBI-essence and modified Chaplygin gas (MCG) and hence reconstruct the potential and warped brane tension. By this reconstruction, we observe that DBI scalar field and potential increase and warped brane tension decreases during evolution of the Universe. Finally, we investigate the validity of the generalized second law (GSL) of thermodynamics in the presence of DBI-essence and modified Chaplygin gas. It is observed that the GSL breaks down for DBI-essence model but GSL always satisfied for MCG model.

Here we have discussed the role of dilaton dark energy in modified gravity theories namely, f(R); f(T) and Horava-Lifshitz gravities and analyzed the behaviour of the dilaton field and the corresponding potential in respect to these modified gravity theories instead of Einstein's gravity. In f(R) and f(T) gravities, we have considered some particular forms of f(R) and f(T) and we have shown that the potentials always increase with the dilaton fields. Dynamical System Analysis of Interacting Variable Modified Chaplygin Gas Model in FRW Universe

In this work, we have considered interacting dynamical model taking variable modified Chaplygin gas which plays as dark energy coupled to cold dark matter in the flat FRW universe. Since the nature of dark energy and dark matter is still unknown, it is possible to have interaction between them and we choose the interaction term in phenomenologically. We have converted all the equations in the dynamical system of equations by considering the dimensionless parameters and seen the evolution of the corresponding autonomous system. The feasible critical point has been found and for the stability of the dynamical system about the critical point, we linearize the governing equation around the critical point. We found that there exists a stable scaling (attractor) solution at late times of the Universe and found some physical range of $n$ and the interaction parameter $c$. We have shown that for our calculated physical range of the parameters, the Universe explores upto quintessence stage. The deceleration parameter, statefinder parameters, Hubble parameter and the scale factor have been calculated around the critical point. Finally some consequences around the critical point i.e., the distance measurement of the Universe like lookback time, luminosity distance, proper distance, angular diameter distance, comoving volume, distance modulus and probability of intersecting objects have been analyzed before and after the present age of the Universe.

Fractional Action Cosmology: Emergent, Logamediate, Intermediate, Power law Scenarios of the Universe and Generalized Second Law of Thermodynamics

In the framework of Fractional Action Cosmology (FAC), we study the generalized second law of thermodynamics for the Friedmann Universe enclosed by a boundary. We use the four well-known cosmic horizons as boundaries namely, apparent horizon, future event horizon, Hubble horizon and particle horizon. We construct the generalized second law (GSL) using and without using the first law of thermodynamics. To check the validity of GSL, we express the law in the form of four different scale factors namely emergent, logamediate, intermediate and power law. For Hubble, apparent and particle horizons, the GSL holds for emergent and logamediate expansions of the universe when we apply with and without using first law. For intermediate scenario, the GSL is valid for Hubble, apparent, particle horizons when we apply with and without first law. Also for intermediate scenario, the GSL is valid for event horizon when we apply first law but it breaks down without using first law. But for power law expansion, the GSL may be valid for some cases and breaks down otherwise.

Gravitational Collapse in Generalized Vaidya Space-Time for Lovelock Gravity Theory

In this work, we have assumed the generalized Vaidya solution in Lovelock theory of gravity in $(n+2)$-dimensions. It has been shown that Gauss-Bonnet gravity, dimensionally continued Lovelock gravity and pure Lovelock gravity can be constructed by suitable choice of parameters. We have investigated the occurrence of singularities formed by the gravitational collapse in above three particular forms of Lovelock theory of gravity. The dependence of the nature of singularity on the existence of radial null geodesic for Vaidya space-time has been specially considered. In all the three models, we have shown that the nature of singularities (naked singularity or black hole) completely depend on the parameters. Choices of various parameters are shown in tabular form. In Gauss-Bonnet gravity theory, it can be concluded that the possibility of naked singularity increases with increase in dimensions. In dimensionally continued Lovelock gravity, the naked singularity is possible for odd dimensions for several values of parameters. In pure Lovelock gravity, only black hole forms due to the gravitational collapse for any values of parameters. It has been shown that when accretion is taking place on a collapsing object, it is highly unlikely to get a black hole. Finally on considering the phantom era in the expanding universe it is observed that there is no possibility of formation of a black hole if we are in the Gauss-Bonnet gravity considering the accreting procedure upon a collapsing object.

Study of Thermodynamics in Generalized Holographic and Ricci Dark Energy Models

We have considered the flat FRW model of the universe which is filled with the combination of dark matter and dark energy. Here we have considered two types of dark energy models: (i) Generalized holographic and (ii) generalized Ricci dark energies. The general descriptions of first law and generalized second law (GSL) of thermodynamics have studied on the apparent horizon, particle horizon and event horizon of the universe. We have shown that the first law and GSL are always valid on apparent horizon and first law can not be satisfied on the particle and event horizons in Einstein's gravity. These results are always true for any types of dark energy models i.e., these results do not depend on the dark energy models in Einstein's gravity. But the GSL completely depends on the choices of dark energy models in Einstein's gravity. Here we have discussed the validity of GSL in Generalized holographic and generalized Ricci dark energy models. On the particle horizon GSL may be satisfied but on the event horizon the GSL can not be satisfied for both the dark energy models. Also we have considered the Generalized holographic dark energy and generalized Ricci dark energy as the original holographic dark energy, so in this situation we have calculated the expression of the radius of the horizon $L$. Brans-Dicke Theory and Thermodynamical Laws on Apparent and Event Horizons

In this work, we have described the Brans-Dicke theory of gravity and given a particular solution by choosing a power law form of scalar field $ϕ$ and constant $ω$. If we assume first law and entropy formula on apparent horizon then we recover Friedmann equations. Next, assuming first law of thermodynamics, the validity conditions of GSL on event horizon are presented. Also without use first law, if we impose the entropy relation on the horizon, then we also obtain the condition of validity of GSL on event horizon. The validity of GSL completely depends on the model of BD scalar field solutions. We have justified that on the apparent horizon the two process are equivalent, but on the event horizon they are not equivalent. If first law is valid on the event horizon then GSL may be satisfied in BD solution, but if first law is not satisfied then GSL is not satisfied in BD solution. So first law always favours GSL on event horizon. In our effective approach, the first law and GSL is always satisfied in apparent horizon, which do not depend on BD theory of gravity.

Dynamics of Logamediate and Intermediate Scenarios in the Dark Energy Filled Universe

We have considered a model of two component mixture i.e., mixture of Chaplygin gas and barotropic fluid with tachyonic field. In the case, when they have no interaction then both of them retain their own properties. Let us consider an energy flow between barotropic and tachyonic fluids. In both the cases we find the exact solutions for the tachyonic field and the tachyonic potential and show that the tachyonic potential follows the asymptotic behavior. We have considered an interaction between these two fluids by introducing a coupling term. Finally, we have considered a model of three component mixture i.e., mixture of tachyonic field, Chaplygin gas and barotropic fluid with or without interaction. The coupling functions decays with time indicating a strong energy flow at the initial period and weak stable interaction at later stage. In the present work we investigated the validity of the generalized second law (GSL) of thermo- dynamics in presence of interaction between DBI-essence and other four candidates of dark energy namely modified Chaplygin gas, hessence, tachyonic field and new agegraphic dark energy. It has been observed that the GSL breaks down in presence of the interactions. However, the event horizon remains to be an increasing function of time.

Generalized second law of thermodynamics in presence of interacting tachyonic field and scalar(phantom)field

In the present work, we have considered tachyonic field, phantom field and scalar field in both interacting and non-interacting situations and investigated the validity of the generalized second law of thermodynamics in a flat FRW universe. We found that in all cases, excepting the phantom field dominated universe, the derivative of the entropy is remaining at negative level and is increasing with the decrease in the redshift.

Holographic Dark Energy Interacting with Two Fluids and Validity of Generalized Second Law of Thermodynamics

We have considered a cosmological model of holographic dark energy interacting with dark matter and another unknown component of dark energy of the universe. We have assumed two interaction terms $Q$ and $Q'$ in order to include the scenario in which the mutual interaction between the two principal components (i.e., holographic dark energy and dark matter) of the universe leads to some loss in other forms of cosmic constituents. Our model is valid for any sign of $Q$ and $Q'$. If $Q<Q'$, then part of the dark energy density decays into dark matter and the rest in the other unknown energy density component. But if $Q>Q'$, then dark matter energy receives from dark energy and from the unknown component of dark energy. Observation suggests that dark energy decays into dark matter. Here we have presented a general prescription of a cosmological model of dark energy which imposes mutual interaction between holographic dark energy, dark matter and another fluid. We have obtained the equation of state for the holographic dark energy density which is interacting with dark matter and other unknown component of dark energy. Using first law of thermodynamics, we have obtained the entropies for holographic dark energy, dark matter and other component of dark energy, when holographic dark energy interacting with two fluids (i.e., dark matter and other component of dark energy). Also we have found the entropy at the horizon when the radius ($L$) of the event horizon measured on the sphere of the horizon. We have investigated the GSL of thermodynamics at the present time for the universe enveloped by this horizon. Finally, it has been obtained validity of GSL which implies some bounds on deceleration parameter $q$.

Interaction between DBI-essence and other Dark Energies

The present work considers interaction between DBI-essence and other candidates of dark energies like modified Chaplygin gas, hessence, tachyonic field, and new agegraphic dark energy. The potentials of the fields have been reconstructed under interaction and their evolutions have been viewed against cosmic time $t$ and scalar field $ϕ$. Equation of state parameters have also been obtained. The nature of potentials and the equation of state parameters of the dark energies have been found graphically in presence of interaction (both small and large interaction).

Interaction between phantom field and modified Chaplygin gas

In this letter, we have considered a flat FRW universe. Instead of considering only one candidate for dark energy, we have considered interaction between phantom field and modified Chaplygin gas. It has been shown that the potential of the phantom field increases from a lower value with evolution of the Universe. It has been observed that, the field has an increasing tendency and potential has also an increasing tendency with passage of cosmic time. In the evolution of the universe the crossing of $w=-1$ has been realized by this interacting model.

Interaction between Tachyon and Hessence (or Hantom) dark energies

In this paper, we have considered that the universe is filled with tachyon, hessence (or hantom) dark energies. Subsequently we have investigated the interactions between tachyon and hessence (hantom) dark energies and calculated the potentials considering the power law form of the scale factor. It has been revealed that the tachyonic potential always decreases and hessence (or hantom) potential increases with corresponding fields. Furthermore, we have considered a correspondence between the hessence (or hantom) dark energy density and new variable modified Chaplygin gas energy density. From this, we have found the expressions of the arbitrary positive constants B0 and C of new variable modified Chaplygin gas.

Role of Chameleon Field in Accelerating Universe

In this work, we have considered a model of the flat FRW universe filled with cold dark matter and Chameleon field where the scale function is taken as, (i) Intermediate Expansion and (ii) Logamediate Expansion. In the both cases we find the expressions of Chameleon field, Chameleon potential, statefinder parameters and slow-roll parameters. Also it has been shown that the potential is always decreases with the chameleon field in both the scenarios. The nature of slow-roll parameters have been shown diagrammatically.

Thermodynamical Laws in Horava-Lifshitz Gravity

In this work, we have investigated the validity of GSL of thermodynamics in a universe (open, closed and flat) governed by Ho$\check{\text r}$ava-Lifshitz gravity. If the universe contains barotropic fluid the corresponding solutions have been obtained. The validity of GSL have been examined by two approaches: (i) robust approach and (ii) effective approach. In robust approach, we have considered the universe contains only matter fluid and the effect of the gravitational sector of HL gravity was incorporated through the modified black hole entropy on the horizon. Effective approach is that all extra information of HL gravity into an effective dark energy fluid and so we consider the universe contains matter fluid plus this effective fluid. This approach is essentially same as the Einstein's gravity theory. The general prescription for validity of GSL have been discussed. Graphically we have shown that the GSL may be satisfied for open, closed and flat universe on the different horizons with different conditions.

Thermodynamics in Quasi-Spherical Szekeres Space-Time

We have considered that the universe is the inhomogeneous $(n+2)$ dimensional quasi-spherical Szekeres space-time model. We consider the universe as a thermodynamical system with the horizon surface as a boundary of the system. To study the generalized second law (GSL) of thermodynamics through the universe, we have assumed the trapped surface is the apparent horizon. Next we have examined the validity of the generalized second law of thermodynamics (GSL) on the apparent horizon by two approaches: (i) using first law of thermodynamics on the apparent horizon and (ii) without using the first law. In the first approach, the horizon entropy have been calculated by the first law. In the second approach, first we have calculated the surface gravity and temperature on the apparent horizon and then horizon entropy have found from area formula. The variation of internal entropy have been found by Gibb's law. Using these two approaches separately, we find the conditions for validity of GSL in $(n+2)$ dimensional quasi-spherical Szekeres model.

Thermodynamics of Modified Chaplygin Gas and Tachyonic Field

Here we generalize the results of the work of ref. [10] in modified Chaplygin gas model and tachyonic field model. Here we have studied the thermodynamical behaviour and the equation of state in terms of volume and temperature for both models. We have used the solution and the corresponding equation of state of our previous work [12] for tachyonic field model. We have also studied the thermodynamical stability using thermal equation of state for the tachyonic field model and have shown that there is no critical points during thermodynamical expansion. The determination of $T_{*}$ due to expansion for the tachyonic field have been discussed by assuming some initial conditions. Here, the thermal quantities have been investigated using some reduced parameters.

Validity of Thermodynamical Laws in Dark Energy Filled Universe

We have considered the flat FRW model of the universe which is filled with only dark energy. The general descriptions of first and second laws of thermodynamics are investigated on the apparent horizon and event horizon of the universe. We have assumed the equation of state of three different types of dark energy models. We have examined the validity of first and second laws of thermodynamics on apparent and event horizons for these dark energies. For these dark energy models, it has been found that on the apparent horizon, first and second laws are always valid. On the event horizon, the laws are break down for dark energy models 1 and 2. For model 3, first law cannot be satisfied on the event horizon, but second law may be satisfied at the late stage of the evolution of the universe and so the validity of second law on the event horizon depends on the values of the parameters only.

Effect of Dynamical Cosmological Constant in presence of Modified Chaplygin Gas for Accelerating Universe

In this paper we have considered the Universe to be filled with Modified Gas and the Cosmological Constant $Λ$ to be time-dependent with or without the Gravitational Constant $G$ to be time-dependent. We have considered various phenomenological models for $Λ$, viz., $Λ\proptoρ, Λ\propto\frac{\dot{a}^{2}}{a^{2}}$ and $Λ\propto\frac{\ddot{a}}{a}$. Using these models it is possible to show the accelerated expansion of the Universe at the present epoch. Also we have shown the natures of $G$ and $Λ$ over the total age of the Universe. Using the statefinder parameters we have shown the diagramamtical representation of the evolution of the Universe starting from radiation era to $Λ$CDM model.

A dynamical symmetry of the spherical dust collapse

By linearly scaling the initial data set (mass and kinetic energy functions) together with the initial area radius of a collapsing dust sphere, we find a symmetry of the collapse dynamics. That is, the linear transformation defines an equivalence class of data sets which lead to the same end result as well as its evolution all through. In particular, the density and shear remain invariant initially as well as during the collapse. What the transformation is exhibiting is an interesting scaling relationship between mass, kinetic energy and the size of the collapsing dust sphere.

Anisotropic Brane Cosmology with Variable $G$ and $Λ$

In this work, the cosmological implications of brane world scenario are investigated when the gravitational coupling $G$ and the cosmological term $Λ$ are not constant but rather there are time variation of them. From observational point of view, these time variations are taken in the form $\frac{\dot{G}}{G}\sim H$ and $Λ\sim H^{2}$. The behavior of scale factors and different kinematical parameters are investigated for different possible scenarios where the bulk cosmological constant $Λ_{5}$ can be zero, positive or negative.
