Complexity analysis of Cylindrically Symmetric Self-gravitating Dynamical System in $f(R,T)$ Theory of Gravity

In this article, we have studied a cylindrically symmetric self-gravitating dynamical object via complexity factor which is obtained through orthogonal splitting of Reimann tensor in $f(R,T)$ theory of gravity. Our study is based on the definition of complexity for dynamical sources, proposed by Herrera \cite{12b}. We actually want to analyze the behavior of complexity factor for cylindrically symmetric dynamical source in modified theory. For this, we define the scalar functions through orthogonal splitting of Reimann tensor in $f(R,T)$ gravity and work out structure scalars for cylindrical geometry. We evaluated the complexity of the structure and also analyzed the complexity of the evolutionary patterns of the system under consideration. In order to present simplest mode of evolution, we explored homologous condition and homogeneous expansion condition in $f(R,T)$ gravity and discussed dynamics and kinematics in the background of a generic viable non-minimally coupled $f(R,T)=α_1 R^m T^n +α_2 T(1+α_3 T^p R^q)$ model. In order to make a comprehensive analysis, we considered three different cases (representing both minimal and non-minimal coupling) of the model under consideration and found that complexity of a system is increased in the presence of higher order curvature terms, even in the simplest modes of evolution. However, higher order trace terms affects the complexity of the system but they are not crucial for simplest modes of evolution in the case of minimal coupling. The stability of vanishing of complexity factor has also been discussed.

Energy Constraints for Evolving Spherical and Hyperbolic Wormholes in $f(R,T)$ Gravity

The primary objective of this article is to study the energy condition bounds for spherical and hyperbolic wormholes in well-known $f(R,T)$ theory of gravity. For this purpose, we formulate the field equations for spherically and pseudospherically geometries using anisotropic matter and linear form of generic function $f(R,T)$. By imposing different conditions on radial and tangential pressures or by adopting some known choices for red shift and shape functions, we present the graphical analysis of energy conditions for both spherically and pseudospherically symmetric wormholes. It is seen that energy density for spherically symmetric wormhole is always positive for $λ>-4π$ and $λ<-8π$, while the energy conditions for radial pressure are negative at throat. Likewise, in case of pseudospherically symmetric wormhole, it is observed that energy density is always positive for negative $λ$, however conditions based on radial pressure may be positive or negative for the considered different cases.

Tolman IV fluid sphere in f(R, T) gravity

In this article, we studied the behavior of relativistic spherical objects considering Tolman IV spacetime in modified $f(R,\,T)$ gravity for the uncharged perfect fluid matter. We have chosen the matter Lagrangian as $\mathcal{L}_m=-p$ to develop our present model. In particular, for this investigation we have reported for the compact object LMC $X-4$ [Mass=$(1.04 \pm 0.09)M_{\odot}$; Radius= $8.301_{-0.2}^{+0.2}$ Km] in our paper. The effect of the coupling parameter $β$ on the local matter distribution of compact stars has been investigated in this paper. It can be seen that with greater values of $β$, the sound speed and adiabatic index are higher. On contrary, the mass function takes lower value for higher values of $β$. Our obtained solution does not admit singularities in the matter density, pressure and metric functions. According to our graphical analysis, this new stellar model satisfies all physical requirements anticipated in a realistic star.

Generalized scaling law for exciton binding energy in two-dimensional materials

Binding energy calculation in two-dimensional (2D) materials is crucial in determining their electronic and optical properties pertaining to enhanced Coulomb interactions between charge carriers due to quantum confinement and reduced dielectric screening. Based on full solutions of the Schrödinger equation in screened hydrogen model with a modified Coulomb potential ($1/r^{β-2}$), we present a generalized and analytical scaling law for exciton binding energy, $E_β = E_{0}\times \big (\,aβ^{b}+c\big )\, (μ/ε^{2})$, where $β$ is a fractional-dimension parameter accounted for the reduced dielectric screening. The model is able to provide accurate binding energies, benchmarked with the reported Bethe-Salpeter Equation (BSE) and experimental data, for 58 mono-layer 2D and 8 bulk materials respectively through $β$. For a given material, $β$ is varied from $β$ = 3 for bulk 3D materials to a value lying in the range 2.55$-$2.7 for 2D mono-layer materials. With $β_{\text{mean}}$ = 2.625, our model improves the average relative mean square error by 3 times in comparison to existing models. The results can be used for Coulomb engineering of exciton binding energies in the optimal design of 2D materials.

Inflationary Solution of Hamilton Jacobi Equations during Weak Dissipative Regime

In this paper, an elegant mathematical approach is introduced to solve the equations of warm inflationary model without using extra approximations other than slow-roll. This important inflationary method known as Hamilton-Jacobian formalism. Here tachyon field and the imperfect fluid are considered to be the cosmic ingredients to create inflation. A general formalism is developed for the considered inflationary model and further work is restricted to weak dissipative regime. A detailed analysis of the model is presented for three different choices of bulk and dissipative coefficients taking as constant as well as variable (function of Hubble parameter and inflaton). In each case, the involved model parameters are constrained to plot the physical acceptable range of scalar spectral index and tensor to scalar ratio. The parametric trajectories proved that the acquired results for all the three cases are compatible with Planck astrophysical data. Furthermore, the existence of warm inflation and slow-roll limit are also verified graphically.

Noncommutative inspired wormholes admitting conformal motion involving minimal coupling

In this manuscript, we explore the existence of wormhole solutions exhibiting spherical symmetry in a modified gravity namely $f(R,T)$ theory by involving some aspects of non-commutative geometry. For this purpose, we consider the anisotropic matter contents along with the well-known Gaussian and Lorentizian distributions of string theory. For the sake of simplicity in analytic discussions, we take a specific form of $f(R,T)$ function given by $f(R,T)=R+λT$. For both these non-commutative distributions, we get exact solutions in terms of exponential and hypergeometric functions. By taking some suitable choice of free parameters, we investigate different interesting aspects of these wormhole solutions graphically. We also explored the stability of these wormhole models using equilibrium condition. It can be concluded that the obtained solutions are stable and physically viable satisfying the wormhole existence criteria. Lastly, we discuss the constraints for positivity of the active gravitational mass for both these distributions.

Strong Gravitational Lensing for Photon Coupled to Weyl Tensor in Kiselev Black Hole

The ambition of the present work is to highlight the phenomena of strong gravitational lensing and deflection angle for the photons coupling with Weyl tensor in a Kiselev black hole. Here, we have extended the prior work of Chen and Jing \cite{1} for Schwarzschild black hole to Kiselev black hole. For this purpose, the equation of motion for the photons coupled to Weyl tensor, null geodesic and equation of photon sphere in a Kiselev black hole spacetime have been formulated. It is found that the equation of motion of the photons depends not only on the coupling between photon and Weyl tensor, but also on the polarization direction of the photons. There is a critical value of the coupling parameter $α$ for existence of the marginally circular photon orbit outside the event horizon, which depends on the parameters of black hole and the polarization direction of photons. Further, the polarization directions of coupled photon and the coupling parameter $α$, both modify the features of the photon sphere, the angle of deflection and the functions $(\bar{a}$ and $\bar{b})$ for the strong gravitational lensing in Kiselev black hole spacetime. In addition to this, the observable gravitational lensing quantities and the shadows of the Kiselev black hole spacetime are presented in detail.

Transport in armchair graphene nanoribbons and in ordinary waveguides

We study dc and ac transport along armchair graphene nanoribbons using the ${\bf k\cdot p}$ spectrum and eigenfunctions and general linear-response expressions for the conductivities. Then we contrast the results with those for transport along ordinary waveguides. In all cases we assess the influence of elastic scattering by impurities, describe it quantitatively with a Drude-type contribution to the current previously not reported, and evaluate the corresponding relaxation time for long- and short-range impurity potentials. We show that this contribution dominates the response at very low frequencies. In both cases the conductivities increase with the electron density and show cusps when new subbands start being occupied. As functions of the frequency the conductivities in armchair graphene nanoribbons exhibit a much richer peak structure than in ordinary waveguides: in the former intraband and interband transitions are allowed whereas in the latter only the intraband ones occur. This difference can be traced to that between the corresponding spectra and eigenfunctions.

Reconstructing QCD ghost $f(R,T)$ models

We reconstruct $f(R,T)$ theory (where $R$ is the scalar curvature and $T$ is the trace of energy-momentum tensor) in the framework of QCD ghost dark energy models. In this study, we concentrate on particular models of $f(R,T)$ gravity which permits the standard continuity equation in this theory. It is found that reconstructed function can represent phantom and quintessence regimes of the universe in the background of flat FRW universe. In addition, we explore the stability of ghost $f(R,T)$ models.

Static Spherically Symmetric Wormholes in $f(R,T)$ Gravity

In this work, we explore wormhole solutions in $f(R,T)$ theory of gravity, where $R$ is the scalar curvature and $T$ is the trace of stress-energy tensor of matter. To investigate this, we consider static spherically symmetric geometry with matter contents as anisotropic, isotropic and barotropic fluids in three separate cases. By taking into account Starobinsky $f(R)$ model , we analyze the behavior of energy conditions for these different kind of fluids. It is shown that the wormhole solutions can be constructed without exotic matter in few regions of spacetime. We also give the graphical illustration of obtained results and discuss the equilibrium picture for anisotropic case only. It is concluded that the wormhole solutions with anisotropic matter are realistic and stable in this gravity.

Study of Anisotropic Compact Stars in Starobinsky Model

The aim of this paper is to study the formation of anisotropic compact stars in modified $f(R)$ theory of gravity, which is the generalization of the Einstein's gravity. To this end, we have used the solution of Krori and Barua to the anisotropic distribution of matter in $f(R)$ gravity. Further, we have matched the interior solution with the exterior solution to determine the constants of Krori and Barua solution. Finally the constant have been determined by using the data of compact compact stars like 4$U1820-30, Her X-1, SAX J 1808-3658$. Using the evaluated form of the solutions, we have discussed the regularity of matter components at the center as well as on the boundary, energy conditions, anisotropy, stability analysis and mass-radius relation of the compact stars 4$U1820-30$, $Her X-1$, $SAX J 1808-3658.$

Thermodynamics in $f(R,R_{αβ}R^{αβ},ϕ)$ theory of gravity

First and second laws of black hole thermodynamics are examined at the apparent horizon of FRW spacetime in $f(R,R_{αβ}R^{αβ} ,ϕ)$ gravity, where $R$, $R_{αβ}R^{αβ}$ and $ϕ$ are the Ricci scalar, Ricci invariant and the scalar field respectively. In this modified theory, Friedmann equations are formulated for any spatial curvature. These equations can be presented into the form of first law of thermodynamics for $T_{h}d\hat{S}_{h}+ T_{h}d_{i}\hat{S}_{h}+W dV=dE$, where $d_{i}\hat{S}_{h}$ is an extra entropy term because of the non-equilibrium presentation of the equations and $T_{h}d\hat{S}_{h}+W dV=dE$ for the equilibrium presentation. The generalized second law of thermodynamics (GSLT) is expressed in an inclusive form where these results can be represented in GR $f(R)$ and $f(R, ϕ)$ gravities. Finally to check the validity of GSLT, we take some particular models and produce constraints of the parameters.

Analytic models of Anisotropic Strange Stars in $f(T)$ Gravity with Off-diagonal tetrad

This paper is devoted to study the analytic models of anisotropic compact stars in $f(T)$ gravity (where $T$ is torsion scalar), with non-diagonal tetrad. By taking the anisotropic source inside the spherically symmetric star, the equations of motions have been derived in the context of $f(T)$ gravity. Krori and Barua metric which satisfies the physical requirement of a realistic star, has been applied to describe the compact objects like strange stars. We use the power law form of $f(T)$ model to determine explicit relations of matter variables. Further, we have found the anisotropic behavior, energy conditions, stability and surface redshift of stars. Using the masses and radii of 4$U$1820-30, Her X-1, SAX J 1808-3658, we have determined the constants involved in metric components. Finally we discuss the graphical behavior of the analytic description of strange star candiddates.

Anisotropic Compact Stars in $f(T)$ Gravity

This paper deals with the theoretical modeling of anisotropic compact stars in the framework of $f(T)$ theory of gravity, where $T$ is torsion scalar. To this end, we have used the exact solutions of Krori and Barua metric to a static spherically symmetric metric. The unknown constants involved in the Krori and Barua metric have been specified by using the masses and radii of compact stars 4$U$1820-30, Her X-1, SAX J 1808-3658. The physical properties of these stars have been analyzed in the framework of $f(T)$ theory. In this setting, we have checked the anisotropic behavior, regularity conditions, stability and surface redshift of the compact stars.

Anisotropic Strange Quintessence Stars in $f(R)$ Gravity

In this paper, we have formulated the new exact model of quintessence anisotropic star in $f(R)$ theory of gravity. The dynamical equations in $f(R)$ theory with the anisotropic fluid and quintessence field have been solved by using Krori-Barua solution. In this case, we have used the Starobinsky model of $f(R)$ gravity. We have determined that all the obtained solutions are free from central singularity and potentially stable. The observed values of mass and radius of the different strange stars PSR J 1614-2230, SAXJ1808.4-3658(SS1), 4U1820- 30, PSR J 1614-2230 have been used to calculate the values of unknown constants in Krori and Barua metric. The physical parameters like anisotropy, stability and redshift of the stars have been investigated in detail.

Dynamical Instability and Expansion-free Condition in $f(R,T)$ Gravity

Dynamical analysis of spherically symmetric collapsing star surrounding in locally anisotropic environment with expansion-free condition is presented in $f(R,T)$ gravity, where $R$ corresponds to Ricci scalar and $T$ stands for the trace of energy momentum tensor. The modified field equations and evolution equations are reconstructed in the framework of $f(R,T)$ gravty. In order to acquire the collapse equation we implement the perturbation on all matter variables and dark source components comprising the viable $f(R,T)$ model. The instability range is described in Newtonian and post-Newtonian eras by constraining the adiabatic index $Γ$ to maintain viability of considered model and stable stellar configuration.

Dynamics of Anisotropic Collapsing Spheres in Einstein Gauss-Bonnet Gravity

This paper is devoted to investigate the dynamics of the self gravitating adiabatic and anisotropic source in $5D$ Einstein Gauss-Bonnet gravity. To this end, the source has been taken as Tolman-Bondi model which preserve inhomogeneity in nature. The field equations, Misner-Sharp mass and dynamical equations have formulated in Einstein Gauss-Bonnet gravity in $5D$. The junction conditions have been explored between the anisotropic source and vacuum solution in Gauss-Bonnet gravity in detail. The Misner and Sharp approach has been applied to define the proper time and radial derivatives. Further, these helps to formulate general dynamical equations. The equations show that the mass of the collapsing system increases with the same amount as the effective radial pressure increases. The dynamical system preserve retardation which implies that system under-consideration goes to gravitational collapse.

Energy conditions in $f(T)$ gravity with non-minimal torsion-matter coupling

The present paper examines the validity of energy bounds in a modified theory of gravity involving non-minimal coupling of torsion scalar and perfect fluid matter. In this respect, we formulate the general inequalities of energy conditions by assuming the flat FRW universe. For the application of these bounds, we particularly focus on two specific models that are recently proposed in literature and also choose the power law cosmology. We find the feasible constraints on the involved free parameters and evaluate their possible ranges graphically for the consistency of these energy bounds.

Energy Constraints and $F(T,T_{G})$ Cosmology

The present paper is elaborated to discuss the energy condition bounds in a modified teleparallel gravity namely $F(T,T_{G})$, involving torsion invariant $T$ and contribution from a term $T_G$, the teleparallel equivalent of the Gauss-Bonnet term. For this purpose, we consider flat FRW universe with matter contents as perfect fluid. We formulate the SEC, NEC, WEC and DEC in terms of some cosmic parameters including Hubble, deceleration, jerk and snap parameters. By taking two interesting models for $F(T,T_{G})$ and some recent limits of these cosmic parameters, we explore the constraints on the free parameters present in both assumed models. We also discuss these constraints graphically in terms of cosmic time by taking power law cosmology into account.

Evolution of Axially Symmetric Anisotropic Sources in $f(R,T)$ Gravity

We discuss the dynamical analysis in $f(R,T)$ gravity (where $R$ is Ricci scalar and $T$ is trace of energy momentum tensor) for gravitating sources carrying axial symmetry. The self gravitating system is taken to be anisotropic and line element describes axially symmetric geometry avoiding rotation about symmetry axis and meridional motions (zero vorticity case). The modified field equations for axial symmetry in $f(R,T)$ theory are formulated, together with the dynamical equations. Linearly perturbed dynamical equations lead to the evolution equation carrying adiabatic index $Γ$ that defines impact of non-minimal matter to geometry coupling on range of instability for Newtonian (N) and post-Newtonian (pN) approximations.

Generalized Second Law of Thermodynamics in $f(T,T_{G})$ gravity

An equilibrium picture of thermodynamics is discussed at the apparent horizon of FRW universe in $f(T,T_G)$ gravity, where $T$ represents the torsion invariant and $T_G$ is the teleparallel equivalent of the Gauss-Bonnet term. It is found that one can translate the Friedmann equations to the standard form of first law of thermodynamics. We discuss GSLT in the locality of assumption that temperature of matter inside the horizon is similar to that of horizon. Finally, we consider particular models in this theory and generate constraints on the coupling parameter for the validity of GSLT in terms of recent cosmic parameters and power law solutions.

Impact of Extended Starobinsky Model on Evolution of Anisotropic, Vorticity-free Axially Symmetric Sources

We study the implications of $R^n$ extension of Starobinsky model on dynamical instability of Vorticity-free axially symmetric gravitating body. The matter distribution is considered to be anisotropic for which modified field equations are formed in context of $f(R)$ gravity. In order to achieve the collapse equation, we make use of the dynamical equations, extracted from linearly perturbed contracted Bianchi identities. The collapse equation carries adiabatic index $Γ$ in terms of usual and dark source components, defining the range of stability/insatbility in Newtonian (N) and post-Newtonian (pN) eras. It is found that supersymmetric supergravity $f(R)$ model represents the more practical substitute of higher order curvature corrections.

Possible Formation of Compact Stars in $f(R,T)$ Gravity

This paper constitutes the investigations regarding possible formation of compact stars in $f(R,T)$ theory of gravity, where $R$ is Ricci scalar and $T$ is trace of energy momentum tensor. In this connection, we use analytic solution of Krori and Barua metric (Krori and Barua 1975)to spherically symmetric anisotropic star in context of $f(R,T)$ gravity. The masses and radii of compact stars models namely model $1$, model$ 2$ and model $3$ are employed to incorporate with unknown constants in Krori and Barua metric. The physical features such as regularity at center, anisotropy measure, casuality and well-behaved condition of above mentioned class of compact starts are analyzed. Moreover, we have also discussed energy conditions, stability and surface redshift in $f(R,T)$ gravity.

Shearfree Condition and dynamical Instability in $f(R,T)$ gravity

The implications of shearfree condition on instability range of anisotropic fluid in $f(R,T)$ are studied in this manuscript. A viable $f(R, T)$ model is chosen to arrive at stability criterion, where $R$ is Ricci scalar and $T$ is the trace of energy momentum tensor. The evolution of spherical star is explored by employing perturbation scheme on modified field equations and contracted Bianchi identities in $f(R, T)$. The effect of imposed shearfree condition on collapse equation and adiabatic index $Γ$ is studied in Newtonian and post-Newtonian regimes.

Field equations and dynamical equations are presented in the context of $f(R,T)$ gravity. Perturbation schem is employed on dynamical equations to find the collapse equation. Furthermore, condition on adiabatic index $Γ$ is constructed for Newtonian and post-Newtonian eras to address instability problem. Thermodynamic Behavior of particular $f(R,T)$ Gravity Models

We investigate the thermodynamics at the apparent horizon of the FRW universe in $f(R,T)$ theory under non-equilibrium description. The laws of thermodynamics have been discussed for two particular models of $f(R,T)$ theory. The first law of thermodynamics is expressed in the form of Clausius relation $T_hd\hat{S}_h=δ{Q}$, where $δ{Q}=-d\hat{E}+Wd\mathbb{V}+T_hd_{\jmath}\hat{S}$ is the energy flux across the horizon and $d_{\jmath}\hat{S}$ is the entropy production term. Furthermore, the conditions to preserve the generalized second law of thermodynamics are established with the constraints of positive temperature and attractive gravity. We have illustrated our results for some concrete models in this theory.

In this study, we concentrate on two particular models of $f(R,T)$ gravity namely, $R+2A(T)$ and $B(R)+λ{T}$. We conclude that the derived $f(R,T)$ models can represent phantom or quintessence regimes of the universe which are compatible with the current observational data. In addition, the conditions to preserve the generalized second law of thermodynamics are established.

Energy Conditions in $f(R,T,R_{μν}T^{μν})$ Gravity

We discuss the validity of the energy conditions in a newly modified theory named as $f(R,T,R_{μν}T^{μν})$ gravity, where $R$ and $T$ represent the scalar curvature and trace of the energy-momentum tensor. The corresponding energy conditions are derived which appear to be more general and can reduce to the familiar forms of these conditions in general relativity, $f(R)$ and $f(R,T)$ theories. The general inequalities are presented in terms of recent values of Hubble, deceleration, jerk and snap parameters. In particular, we use two specific models recently developed in literature to study concrete application of these conditions as well as Dolgov-Kawasaki instability. Finally, we explore $f(R,T)$ gravity as a specific case to this modified theory for exponential and power law models.

Thermodynamics in f(R,T) Theory of Gravity

A non-equilibrium picture of thermodynamics is discussed at the apparent horizon of FRW universe in $f(R,T)$ gravity, where $R$ is the Ricci scalar and $T$ is the trace of the energy-momentum tensor. We take two forms of the energy-momentum tensor of dark components and demonstrate that equilibrium description of thermodynamics is not achievable in both cases. We check the validity of the first and second law of thermodynamics in this scenario. It is shown that the Friedmann equations can be expressed in the form of first law of thermodynamics $T_hdS'_h+T_hd_{\jmath}S'=-dE'+W'dV$, where $d_{\jmath}S'$ is the entropy production term. Finally, we conclude that the second law of thermodynamics holds both in phantom and non-phantom phases.

Effects of Electromagnetic Field on the Dynamics of Bianchi type $VI_0$ Universe with Anisotropic Dark Energy

Spatially homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type $VI_0$ cosmological models with cosmological constant are investigated in the presence of anisotropic dark energy. We examine the effects of electromagnetic field on the dynamics of the universe and anisotropic behavior of dark energy. The law of variation of the mean Hubble parameter is used to find exact solutions of the Einstein field equations. We find that electromagnetic field promotes anisotropic behavior of dark energy which becomes isotropic for future evolution. It is concluded that the isotropic behavior of the universe model is seen even in the presence of electromagnetic field and anisotropic fluid.
