Matter Accretion onto a Conformal Gravity Black Hole

The accretion of test fluids flowing onto a black hole is investigated. Particularly, by adopting a dynamical Hamiltonian approach, we are capable to find the critical points for various cases of black hole in conformal gravity. In these cases, we have analyzed the general solutions of accretion employing the isothermal equations of state. The steady state and spherically symmetric accretion of different test fluids onto the conformal gravity black hole has been considered. Further, we have classified these flows in the context of equations of state and the cases of conformal gravity black hole. The new behavior of polytropic fluid accretion is also discussed in all three cases of black hole. Black hole mass accretion rate is the most important part of this research in which we have investigated that the Schwarzschild black hole produce a typical signature than the conformal gravity black hole and Schwarzschild de-Sitter black hole. The critical fluid flow and the mass accretion rate have been presented graphically by the impact parameters $β$, $γ$, $k$ and these parameters have great significance. Additionally, the maximum mass rate of accretion fall near the universal and Killing horizons and minimum rate of accretion occurs in between these regions. Finally, the results are compared with the different cases of black hole available in the literature.

Strong Gravitational Lensing for Photon Coupled to Weyl Tensor in Kiselev Black Hole

The ambition of the present work is to highlight the phenomena of strong gravitational lensing and deflection angle for the photons coupling with Weyl tensor in a Kiselev black hole. Here, we have extended the prior work of Chen and Jing \cite{1} for Schwarzschild black hole to Kiselev black hole. For this purpose, the equation of motion for the photons coupled to Weyl tensor, null geodesic and equation of photon sphere in a Kiselev black hole spacetime have been formulated. It is found that the equation of motion of the photons depends not only on the coupling between photon and Weyl tensor, but also on the polarization direction of the photons. There is a critical value of the coupling parameter $α$ for existence of the marginally circular photon orbit outside the event horizon, which depends on the parameters of black hole and the polarization direction of photons. Further, the polarization directions of coupled photon and the coupling parameter $α$, both modify the features of the photon sphere, the angle of deflection and the functions $(\bar{a}$ and $\bar{b})$ for the strong gravitational lensing in Kiselev black hole spacetime. In addition to this, the observable gravitational lensing quantities and the shadows of the Kiselev black hole spacetime are presented in detail.

Dynamics of Particles around Time Conformal Schwarzschild Black Hole

In this work, we present the new technique for discussing the dynamical motion of neutral as well as charged particles in the absence/presence of magnetic field around the time conformal Schwarzschild black hole. Initially, we find the numerical solutions of geodesics of Schwarzschild black hole and the time conformal Schwarzschild black hole. We observe that the Schwarzschild spacetime admits the time conformal factor $e^{εf(t)}$, where $f(t)$ is an arbitrary function and $ε$ is very small which causes the perturbation in the spacetimes. This technique also re-scale the energy content of spacetime. We also investigate the thermal stability, horizons and energy conditions corresponding time conformal Schwarzschild spacetime. Also, we examine the dynamics of neutral and charged particle around time conformal Schwarzschild black hole. We investigate the circumstances under which the particle can escape from vicinity of black hole after collision with another particle. We analyze the effective potential and effective force of particle in the presence of magnetic field with angular momentum graphically.

Reconstructing QCD ghost $f(R,T)$ models

We reconstruct $f(R,T)$ theory (where $R$ is the scalar curvature and $T$ is the trace of energy-momentum tensor) in the framework of QCD ghost dark energy models. In this study, we concentrate on particular models of $f(R,T)$ gravity which permits the standard continuity equation in this theory. It is found that reconstructed function can represent phantom and quintessence regimes of the universe in the background of flat FRW universe. In addition, we explore the stability of ghost $f(R,T)$ models.

Study of Anisotropic Compact Stars in Starobinsky Model

The aim of this paper is to study the formation of anisotropic compact stars in modified $f(R)$ theory of gravity, which is the generalization of the Einstein's gravity. To this end, we have used the solution of Krori and Barua to the anisotropic distribution of matter in $f(R)$ gravity. Further, we have matched the interior solution with the exterior solution to determine the constants of Krori and Barua solution. Finally the constant have been determined by using the data of compact compact stars like 4$U1820-30, Her X-1, SAX J 1808-3658$. Using the evaluated form of the solutions, we have discussed the regularity of matter components at the center as well as on the boundary, energy conditions, anisotropy, stability analysis and mass-radius relation of the compact stars 4$U1820-30$, $Her X-1$, $SAX J 1808-3658.$

Top physics at high-energy lepton colliders

A summary is presented of the workshop "top physics at linear colliders" that was held at IFIC Valencia from the 30th of June to the 3rd July 2015. We present an up-to-date status report of studies into the potential for top quark physics of lepton colliders with an energy reach that exceeds the top quark pair production threshold, with a focus on the linear collider projects ILC and CLIC. This summary shows that such projects can offer very competitive determinations of top quark properties (mass, width) and its interactions with other Standard Model particles, in particular electroweak gauge bosons and the Higgs boson. In both areas the prospects exceed the LHC potential significantly - often by an order of magnitude.

Analytic models of Anisotropic Strange Stars in $f(T)$ Gravity with Off-diagonal tetrad

This paper is devoted to study the analytic models of anisotropic compact stars in $f(T)$ gravity (where $T$ is torsion scalar), with non-diagonal tetrad. By taking the anisotropic source inside the spherically symmetric star, the equations of motions have been derived in the context of $f(T)$ gravity. Krori and Barua metric which satisfies the physical requirement of a realistic star, has been applied to describe the compact objects like strange stars. We use the power law form of $f(T)$ model to determine explicit relations of matter variables. Further, we have found the anisotropic behavior, energy conditions, stability and surface redshift of stars. Using the masses and radii of 4$U$1820-30, Her X-1, SAX J 1808-3658, we have determined the constants involved in metric components. Finally we discuss the graphical behavior of the analytic description of strange star candiddates.

Anisotropic Compact Stars in $f(G)$ Gravity

This paper is devoted to study the possibility of forming anisotropic compact stars in modified Gauss-Bonnet, namely called as $f(G)$ theory of gravity which is one of the strong candidates, responsible for the accelerated expansion of the universe. For this purpose, we have used analytical solution of Krori and Barua metric to the Einstein field equations with anisotropic form of matter and power law model of $f(G)$ gravity. To determine the unknown constants in Krori and Barua metric, we have used the sample of compact stars, 4$U$1820-30, Her X-1, SAX J 1808-3658. The physical behavior of these stars have been analyzed with the observational data. In this setting, we have checked all the regularity conditions and stability of the compact stars 4$U$1820-30, Her X-1, SAX J1808-3658.

This paper deals with the theoretical modeling of anisotropic compact stars in the framework of $f(T)$ theory of gravity, where $T$ is torsion scalar. To this end, we have used the exact solutions of Krori and Barua metric to a static spherically symmetric metric. The unknown constants involved in the Krori and Barua metric have been specified by using the masses and radii of compact stars 4$U$1820-30, Her X-1, SAX J 1808-3658. The physical properties of these stars have been analyzed in the framework of $f(T)$ theory. In this setting, we have checked the anisotropic behavior, regularity conditions, stability and surface redshift of the compact stars.

Anisotropic Strange Quintessence Stars in $f(R)$ Gravity

In this paper, we have formulated the new exact model of quintessence anisotropic star in $f(R)$ theory of gravity. The dynamical equations in $f(R)$ theory with the anisotropic fluid and quintessence field have been solved by using Krori-Barua solution. In this case, we have used the Starobinsky model of $f(R)$ gravity. We have determined that all the obtained solutions are free from central singularity and potentially stable. The observed values of mass and radius of the different strange stars PSR J 1614-2230, SAXJ1808.4-3658(SS1), 4U1820- 30, PSR J 1614-2230 have been used to calculate the values of unknown constants in Krori and Barua metric. The physical parameters like anisotropy, stability and redshift of the stars have been investigated in detail.

Collapsing Plane Symmetric Source with Heat Flux and Conformal Flatness

This paper deals with the study of collapsing plane symmetric source in the presence of heat flux. For this purpose, we have calculated the Einstein field equations as well as Weyl tensor components. The conditions for the conformal flatness have been determined. The interior source has been matched smoothly with the exterior geometry in single null coordinate. It has been found the pressure is balanced with the out going heat flux and the continuity of the masses in two regions has been noted. A simple new model of collapse has been proposed which satisfies flatness condition, also we have discussed the physical properties of the model. For our model, we have calculated the temperature profile by using the approximation scheme.

Dynamics of Anisotropic Collapsing Spheres in Einstein Gauss-Bonnet Gravity

This paper is devoted to investigate the dynamics of the self gravitating adiabatic and anisotropic source in $5D$ Einstein Gauss-Bonnet gravity. To this end, the source has been taken as Tolman-Bondi model which preserve inhomogeneity in nature. The field equations, Misner-Sharp mass and dynamical equations have formulated in Einstein Gauss-Bonnet gravity in $5D$. The junction conditions have been explored between the anisotropic source and vacuum solution in Gauss-Bonnet gravity in detail. The Misner and Sharp approach has been applied to define the proper time and radial derivatives. Further, these helps to formulate general dynamical equations. The equations show that the mass of the collapsing system increases with the same amount as the effective radial pressure increases. The dynamical system preserve retardation which implies that system under-consideration goes to gravitational collapse.

Gravitational Collapse and Expansion of Charged Anisotropic Cylindrical Source

In this paper, we have discussed the gravitational collapse and expansion of charged anisotropic cylindrically symmetric gravitating source. To this end, the generating solutions of Einstein-Maxwell field equations for the given source and geometry have been evaluated. We found the auxiliary solution of the filed equations, this solution involves a single function which generates two kinds of anisotropic solutions. Every solution can be expressed in terms of arbitrary function of time that has been chosen arbitrarily to fit the various astrophysical time profiles. The existing solutions predict gravitational collapse and expansion depending on the choice of initial data. Instead of base to base collapse, in the present case, wall to wall collapse of the cylindrical source has been investigated. We have found that the electromagnetic field is responsible for the enhancement of anisotropy in collapsing system.

Possible Formation of Compact Stars in $f(R,T)$ Gravity

This paper constitutes the investigations regarding possible formation of compact stars in $f(R,T)$ theory of gravity, where $R$ is Ricci scalar and $T$ is trace of energy momentum tensor. In this connection, we use analytic solution of Krori and Barua metric (Krori and Barua 1975)to spherically symmetric anisotropic star in context of $f(R,T)$ gravity. The masses and radii of compact stars models namely model $1$, model$ 2$ and model $3$ are employed to incorporate with unknown constants in Krori and Barua metric. The physical features such as regularity at center, anisotropy measure, casuality and well-behaved condition of above mentioned class of compact starts are analyzed. Moreover, we have also discussed energy conditions, stability and surface redshift in $f(R,T)$ gravity.

Shearfree Condition and dynamical Instability in $f(R,T)$ gravity

The implications of shearfree condition on instability range of anisotropic fluid in $f(R,T)$ are studied in this manuscript. A viable $f(R, T)$ model is chosen to arrive at stability criterion, where $R$ is Ricci scalar and $T$ is the trace of energy momentum tensor. The evolution of spherical star is explored by employing perturbation scheme on modified field equations and contracted Bianchi identities in $f(R, T)$. The effect of imposed shearfree condition on collapse equation and adiabatic index $Γ$ is studied in Newtonian and post-Newtonian regimes.

Strange Stars in $f(T)$ Gravity With MIT Bag Model

This paper deals with existence of strange stars in $f\left(T\right) $ modified gravity. For this purpose, we have taken the diagonal tetrad field of static spacetime with charged anisotropic fluid and MIT bag model, which provide the linear relation between radial pressure and density of the matter. Further, the analysis of the resulting equations have been done by assuming the parametric form of the metric functions in term of the radial profiles with some unknown constant (introduced by Krori and Barua). By the matching of two metrices, unknown constant of the metric functions appear in terms of mass, radius and charge of the stars, the observed values of these quantities have been used for the detail analysis of the the derived model. We have discuss the regularity, anisotropy, energy conditions, stability and surface redshift of the model.

Cardy-Verlinde Formula of Non-Commutative Schwarzschild Black Hole

Few years ago, Setare \cite{1} has investigated the Cardy-Verlinde formula of non-commutative black hole obtained by non-commutativity of coordinates. In this paper, we apply the same procedure to a non-commutative black hole obtained by the co-ordinate coherent approch. The Cardy-Verlinde formula is entropy formula of conformal field theory in an arbitrary dimension. It relates the entropy of conformal filed theory to its total energy and Casimir energy. In this paper, we have calculated the total energy and Casimir energy of non-commutative Schwarzschild black hole and have shown that entropy of non-commutative Schwarzschild black hole horizon can be expressed in terms of Cardy-Verlinde formula.

Cylindrically Symmetric Models of Anisotropic Compact Stars

In this paper we have discussed the possibility of forming anisotropic compact stars from cosmological constant as one of the competent candidates of dark energy with cylindrical symmetry. For this purpose, we have applied the analytical solution of Krori and Barua metric to a particular cylindrically symmetric spacetime. The unknown constants in Krori and Barua metric have been determined by using masses and radii of class of compact stars like 4$U$1820-30, Her X-1, SAX J 1808-3658. The properties of these stars have been analyzed in detail. In this setting the cosmological constant has been taken as a variable which depends on the radial coordinates. We have checked all the regularity conditions, stability and surface redshift of the compact stars 4$U$1820-30, Her X-1, SAX J 1808-3658.

Dynamical Stability of Collapsing Stars in Einstein Gauss-Bonnet Gravity

This paper is devoted to study the stability/instability of the expansionfree self gravitating source in the framework of Einstein Gauss-Bonnet gravity. The source has been taken as Tolman-Bondi model which is homogenous in nature. The field equations as dynamical equations have been evaluated in Gauss-Bonnet gravity in five dimensions. The junction conditions as well as cavity evaluations equations have been explored in detail. The perturbation scheme of first order has been applied to dynamical as Einstein Gauss-Bonnet field equations. The concept of Newtonian as well post Newtonian approximation have been used to derive general dynamical stability equations. In general this equation represents the stability of the gravitating source. Some particular values of system parameters have been chosen to prove the concept of stability graphically. It has been mentioned that other than chosen the particular values of the parameters the stability of the system would be disturbed, hence it would leads to instability.

Effects of Electromagnetic Field on The Collapse and Expansion of Anisotropic Gravitating Source

This paper is devoted to study the effects of electromagnetic on the collapse and expansion of anisotropic gravitating source. For this purpose, we have evaluated the generating solutions of Einstein-Maxwell field equations with spherically symmetric anisotropic gravitating source. We found that a single function generates the various anisotropic solutions. In this case every generating function involves an arbitrary function of time which can be chosen to fit several astrophysical time profiles. Two physical phenomenon occur, one is gravitational collapse and other is the cosmological expanding solution. In both cases electromagnetic field effects the anisotropy of the model. For collapse the anisotropy is increased while for expansion it deceases from maximum value to finite positive value. In case of collaps there exits two horizons like in case of Reissner-Nordstr$\ddot{o}$m metric.

This paper is devoted to study the geodesic structure of regular Hayward black hole. The timelike and null geodesic have been studied explicitly for radial and non-radial motion. For timelike and null geodesic in radial motion there exists analytical solution, while for non-radial motion the effective potential has been plotted, which investigates the position and turning points of the particle. It has been found that massive particle moving along timelike geodesics path are dragged towards the BH and continues move around BH in particular orbits.

In this paper, we investigate the magnetohydrodynamic viscous flow with second order slip flow model over a permeable shrinking surface. We have obtained the closed form of exact solution of Navier-Stokes equations by using similarity variable technique. The effects of slip, suction and magnetic parameter have been investigated in detail. The results show that there are two solution branches, namely lower and upper solution branch. The behavior of velocity and shear stress profiles for different values of slip, suction and magnetic parameters has been discussed through graphs.

Collapse and Expansion of Anisotropic Plane Symmetric Source

This paper deals with the collapse and expansion of relativistic anisotropic self-gravitating source. The field equations for non-radiating and non-static plane symmetric anisotropic source have been evaluated. The non-radiating property of the fluid leads to evaluation of the metric functions. We have classified the dynamical behavior of gravitational source as expansion and collapse. The collapse in this case leads to the final stage without the formation of apparent horizons while such horizons exists in case of spherical anisotropic source. The matching of interior and exterior regions provides the continuity of masses over the boundary surface.

Dynamics of Charged Radiating Collapse in Modified Gauss-Bonnet Gravity

This paper deals with the dynamics of a shearfree charged radiating collapse in modified Gauss-Bonnet gravity. The field equations for shearfree spherical interior geometry of a charged dissipative star are formulated. To study the dynamical behavior of collapsing matter, we derive the dynamical as well as transport equations. We conclude that the gravitational force in modified Gauss-Bonnet gravity is much stronger as compared to general relativity which implies the increase in the rate of collapse. Finally, we study the effect of charge on the dynamics of collapse.

Dynamics of Shearfree Dissipative Collapse in f(G) Gravity

In this paper, we study the dynamics of shearfree dissipative gravitational collapse in modified Gauss-Bonnet theory of gravity - so called f(G) gravity. The field equations of f(G) gravity are applied to shearfree spherical interior geometry of the dissipative star. We formulate the dynamical as well as transport equations and then couple them to investigate the process of collapse. We conclude that the gravitational force in this theory is much stronger as compared to general relativity which indicates increase in the rate of collapse. Further, the relation between the Weyl tensor and matter components is established. This shows that for constant f(G) the vanishing of the Weyl scalar leads to the homogeneity in energy density and vice versa.

Phantom energy accretion onto a black hole in Horava Lifshitz gravity

In this Letter, we examine the phantom energy accretion onto a Kehagias-Sfetsos black hole in Ho$\check{r}$ava Lifshitz gravity. To discuss the accretion process onto the black hole, the equations of phantom flow near the black hole have been derived. It is found that mass of the black hole decreases because of phantom accretion. We discuss the conditions for critical accretion. Graphically, it has been found that the critical accretion phenomena is possible for different values of parameters. The results for the Schwarzschild black hole can be recovered in the limiting case.

Singularities of Noncompact Charged Objects

We formulate a model of noncompact spherical charged objects in the framework of noncommutative field theory. The Einstein-Maxwell field equations are solved with charged anisotropic fluid. We choose the forms of mass and charge densities which belong to two parameter family of density distribution functions instead of densities as Gaussian width length. It is found that the corresponding densities and the Ricci scalar are singular at origin whereas the metric is nonsingular indicating a spacelike singularity. The numerical solution of the horizon equation implies that there are either two or one or no horizon depending on the mass. We also evaluate the Hawking temperature which implies that a black hole with two horizons is evaporated to an extremal black hole with one horizon.

Thermodynamics of Phantom Energy Accreting onto a Black Hole in Einstein-Power-Maxwell Gravity

In this paper, we investigate the phantom energy accretion onto 3D black hole formulated in Einstein-Power-Maxwell theory. We have presented the conditions for critical accretion of phantom energy onto black hole. Further, we discuss the thermodynamics of phantom energy accreting onto black hole and found that first law of thermodynamics is easily satisfied while second law and generalized second law of thermodynamics remain invalid and conditionally valid, respectively. The results for BTZ black hole can be recovered by taking Maxwellian contribution equal to zero.

Expanding and Collapsing Scalar Field Thin Shell

This paper deals with the dynamics of scalar field thin shell in the Reissner-Nordstr$\ddot{o}$m geometry. The Israel junction conditions between Reissner-Nordstr$\ddot{o}$m spacetimes are derived, which lead to the equation of motion of scalar field shell and Klien-Gordon equation. These equations are solved numerically by taking scalar field model with the quadratic scalar potential. It is found that solution represents the expanding and collapsing scalar field shell. For the better understanding of this problem, we investigate the case of massless scalar field (by taking the scalar field potential zero). Also, we evaluate the scalar field potential when $p$ is an explicit function of $R$. We conclude that both massless as well as massive scalar field shell can expand to infinity at constant rate or collapse to zero size forming a curvature singularity or bounce under suitable conditions.

Non-Commutative Correction to Thin Shell Collapse in Reissner Nordstr$\ddot{o}$m Geometry

This paper investigates the polytropic matter shell collapse in the non-commutative Reissner-Nordstr$\ddot{o}$m geometry. Using the Israel criteria, equation of motion for the polytropic matter shell is derived. In order to explore the physical aspects of this equation, the most general equation of state, $p=kρ^{({1+\frac{1}{n}})}$, has been used for finite and infinite values of $n$. The effective potentials corresponding to the equation of motion have been used to explain different states of the matter shell collapse. The numerical solution of the equation of motion predicts collapse as well as expansion depending on the choice of initial data. Further, in order to include the non-commutative correction, we modify the matter components and re-formulate the equation of motion as well as the corresponding effective potentials by including non-commutative factor and charge parameter. It is concluded that charge reduces the velocity of the expanding or collapsing matter shell but does not bring the shell to static position. While the non-commutative factor with generic matter favors the formation of black hole.

Phantom Energy Accretion by Stringy Charged Black Hole

We investigate the dynamical behavior of phantom energy near stringy magnetically charged black hole. For this purpose, we derive equations of motion for steady-state spherically symmetric flow of phantom energy onto the stringy magnetically charged black hole. It is found that phantom energy accreting onto black hole decreases its mass. Further, the location of critical points of accretion is explored, which yields mass to charge ratio. This ratio implies that accretion process cannot transform a black hole into an extremal black hole or a naked singularity, hence cosmic censorship hypothesis remains valid here.

We take non-viscous heat conducting charged anisotropic fluid as a collapsing matter with cylindrical symmetry. Phantom Accretion by Five Dimensional Charged Black Hole

This paper deals with the dynamical behavior of phantom field near five dimensional charged black hole. We formulate equations of motion for steady-state spherically symmetric flow of phantom fluids. It is found that phantom energy accretes onto black holes for $u<0$. Further, the location of critical point of accretion are evaluated that leads to mass to charge ratio for 5D charged black hole. This ratio implies that accretion cannot transform a black hole into a naked singularity. We would like to mention here that this work is an irreducible extension of 4D charged black hole.

Effects of the Electromagnetic Field on Five-dimensional Gravitational Collapse

This paper investigates the five-dimensional(5D) spherically symmetric gravitational collapse with positive cosmological constant in the presence of an electromagnetic field. The junction conditions between the 5D non-static interior and the static exterior spacetimes are derived using the Israel criteria modified by Santos. We use the energy conditions to discuss solution to the field equations of the interior spacetime with a charged perfect fluid for the marginally bound and the non-marginally bound cases. We found that the range of apparent horizon was larger than that for 4D gravitational collapse with an electromagnetic field. This analysis gives the irreducible and the reducible extensions of 4D perfect fluid collapse with an electromagnetic field and 5D perfect fluid collapse, respectively. Moreover, for the later case, the results can be recovered under some restrictions.

Gravitational Charged Perfect Fluid Collapse in Friedmann Universe Models

This paper is devoted to study the gravitational charged perfect fluid collapse in the Friedmann universe models with cosmological constant. For this purpose, we assume that the electromagnetic field is so weak that it does not introduce any distortion into the geometry of the spacetime. The results obtained from the junction conditions between the Friedmann and the Reissner-Nordstr$\ddot{o}$m de-Sitter spacetimes are used to solve the field equations. Further, the singularity structure and mass effects of the collapsing system on time difference between the formation of apparent horizons and singularity have been studied. This analysis provides the validity of Cosmic Censorship Hypothesis. It is found that the electric field affects the area of apparent horizons and their time of formation.

Gravitational Collapse: Expanding and Collapsing Regions

We investigate the expanding and collapsing regions by taking two well-known spherically symmetric spacetimes. For this purpose, the general formalism is developed by using Israel junction conditions for arbitrary spacetimes. This has been used to obtain the surface energy density and the tangential pressure. The minimal pressure provides the gateway to explore the expanding and collapsing regions. We take Minkowski and Kantowski-Sachs spacetimes and use the general formulation to investigate the expanding and collapsing regions of the shell.
