Harish-Chandra Theorem for Two-parameter Quantum Groups

This paper is devoted to investigating the centre of two-parameter quantum groups $U_{r,s}(\mathfrak{g})$ via establishing the Harish-Chandra homomorphism. Based on the Rosso form and the representation theory of weight modules, we prove that when rank $\mathfrak{g}$ is even, the Harish-Chandra homomorphism is an isomorphism, and in particular, the centre of the quantum group $\breve{U}_{r,s}(\mathfrak{g})$ of the weight lattice type is a polynomial algebra $\mathbb{K}[z_{\varpi_1},\cdots,z_{\varpi_n}]$, where canonical central elements $z_λ\; (λ\in Λ^+)$ are turned out to be uniformly expressed. For rank $\mathfrak{g}$ to be odd, we figure out a new invertible extra central generator $z_*$, which doesn't survive in $U_q(\mathfrak g)$, then the centre of $\breve{U}_{r,s}(\mathfrak{g})$ contains $\mathbb{K}[z_{\varpi_1},\cdots,z_{\varpi_n}]\otimes_\mathbb K\mathbb K[z_*^{\frac{1}{\ell}}, z_*^{-\frac{1}{\ell}}]$, where $\ell=2$, except $\ell=4$ for $D_{2k+1}$.

Finite-dimensional Hopf algebras over the Hopf algebra $H_{b:1}$ of Kashina

Let $H$ be the 16-dimensional nontrivial (namely, noncommutative and noncocommutative) semisimple Hopf algebra $H_{b:1}$ appeared in Kashina's work \cite{K00}. We obtain all simple Yetter-Drinfeld modules over $H$ and then determine all finite-dimensional Nichols algebras satisfying $\mathcal{B}(V)\cong \bigotimes_{i\in I}\mathcal{B}(V_i)$, where $V=\bigoplus_{i\in I}V_i$, each $V_i$ is a simple object in $_H^H\mathcal{YD}$. Finally, we describe all liftings of those $\mathcal{B}(V)$ over $H$.

Convex PBW-type Lyndon Bases and Restricted Two-Parameter Quantum Group of Type $F_4$

We determine convex PBW-type Lyndon bases for two-parameter quantum groups $U_{r,s}(F_4)$ with detailed commutation relations. We construct a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra $\mathfrak u_{r,s}(F_4)$, as a quotient of $U_{r,s}(F_4)$ by a Hopf ideal generated by certain central elements, which is pointed, and of a Drinfel'd double structure under a certain condition. All of Hopf isomorphisms of $\mathfrak u_{r,s}(F_4)$ are determined which are important for seeking the possible new pointed objects in low order with $(\ell, 210)\ne 1$. Finally, necessary and sufficient conditions for $\mathfrak u_{r,s}(F_4)$ to be a ribbon Hopf algebra are singled out by describing the left and right integrals.

Double-bosonization and Majid's Conjecture, (III): type-crossing and inductions of $E_6$ and $E_7$, $E_8$

Double-bosonization construction in Majid \cite{majid1} is expectedly allowed to generate a tree of quantum groups. Some main branches of the tree in \cite{HH1, HH2} have been depicted how to grow up. This paper continues to elucidate the type-crossing and inductive constructions of exceptional quantum groups of types $E_6$ and $E_7$, $E_8$, respectively, based on the generalized double-bosonization Theorem established in \cite{HH2}. Thus the Majid's expectation for the inductive constructions of $U_q(\mathfrak g)$'s for all finite-dimensional complex simple Lie algebras is completely achieved.

Some Hopf algebras of dimension $72$ without the Chevalley property

In this paper, we consider the Drinfeld double $\D$ of a $12$-dimensional Hopf algebra $\C$ over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero whose coradical is not a subalgebra and describe its simple modules, projective covers of the simple modules and show that it is of wild representation type. Moreover, we show that the Nichols algebras associated to non-simple indecomposable modules are infinite-dimensional. In particular, for any object $V$ in $\CYD$, if $\BN(V)$ is finite-dimensional, then $V$ must be semisimple. Finally, we describe the Nichols algebras associated to partial simple modules in terms of generators and relations. As a byproduct, we obtain some Hopf algebras of dimension $72$ without the Chevalley property, that is, the coradical is not a subalgebra.

Double-bosonization and Majid's conjecture, (I): rank-induction of $ABCD$

Majid developed in \cite{majid3} his double-bosonization theory to construct $U_q(\mathfrak g)$ and expected to generate inductively not just a line but a tree of quantum groups starting from a node. In this paper, the authors confirm the Majid's first expectation (see p. 178 \cite{majid3}) through giving and verifying the full details of the inductive constructions of $U_q(\mathfrak g)$ for the classical types, i.e., the $ABCD$ series. Some examples in low ranks are given to elucidate that any quantum group of classical type can be constructed from the node corresponding to $U_{q}(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$.

Double-bosonization and Majid's Conjecture, (II): cases of irregular $R$-matrices and type-crossings of $F_4$, $G_2$

The purpose of the paper is to build up the related theory of weakly quasitriangular dual pairs suitably for non-standard $R$-matrices (irregular), and establish the generalized double-bosonization construction theorem for irregular $R$, which generalize Majid's results for regular $R$ in \cite{majid1}. As an application, the type-crossing construction for the exceptional quantum groups of types $F_{4}$, $G_{2}$ is obtained. This affirms the Majid's expectation that the tree structure of nodes diagram associated with quantum groups can be grown out of the node corresponding to $U_q(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$ by double-bosonization procedures. Notably from a representation perspective, we find an effective method to get the minimal polynomials for the non-standard $R$-matrices involved.

Double-bosonization and Majid's Conjecture, (IV): Type-Crossings from $A$ to $BCD$

Both in Majid's double-bosonization theory and in Rosso's quantum shuffle theory, the rank-inductive and type-crossing construction for $U_q(\mathfrak g)$'s is still a remaining open question. In this paper, working with Majid's framework, based on our generalized double-bosonization Theorem proved in \cite{HH2}, we further describe explicitly the type-crossing construction of $U_q(\mathfrak g)$'s for $(BCD)_n$ series direct from type $A_{n-1}$ via adding a pair of dual braided groups determined by a pair of $(R, R')$-matrices of type $A$ derived from the respective suitably chosen representations. %which generalize the lower rank cases constructed in \cite{HH1}. Combining with our work in \cite{HH1,HH2,HH3}, this solves Majid's conjecture, that is, any quantum group $U_q(\mathfrak g)$ associated to a simple Lie algebra $\mathfrak g$ can be grown out of $U_q({\mathfrak {sl}}_2)$ inductively by a series of suitably chosen double-bosonization procedures.

Modular quantizations of Lie algebras of Cartan type $H$ via Drinfeld Twists

We construct explicit Drinfel'd twists for the generalized Cartan type $H$ Lie algebras in characteristic $0$ and obtain the corresponding quantizations and their integral forms. Via making modular reductions including modulo $p$ reduction and modulo $p$-restrictedness reduction, and base changes, we derive certain modular quantizations of the restricted universal enveloping algebra $\mathbf u(\mathbf{H}(2n;\underline{1}))$ in characteristic $p$. They are new non-pointed Hopf algebras of truncated $p$-polynomial noncommutative and noncocommutative deformation of prime-power dimension $p^{p^{2n}-1}$, which contain the well-known Radford algebras as Hopf subalgebras. As a by-product, we also get some Jordanian quantizations for $\mathfrak {sp}_{2n}$.

Modular Quantizations of Lie Algebras of Cartan Type K via Drinfeld Twists of Jordanian Type

We construct explicit Drinfel'd twists of Jordanian type for the generalized Cartan type K Lie algebras in characteristic 0 and obtain the corresponding quantizations, especially their integral forms. By making modular reductions including modulo p and modulo p-restrictedness reduction, and base changes, we derive certain modular quantizations of the restricted universal enveloping algebra $\mathbf u(\mathbf{K}(2n{+}1;\underline{1}))$ for the restricted simple Lie algebra of Cartan type K in characteristic p. They are new pointed Hopf algebras of noncommutative and noncocommutative and with dimension $p^{p^{2n+1}+1}$ (if $2n+4\not\equiv0 \; (\mod p)$) or $p^{p^{2n+1}}$ (if $2n+4\equiv0 \; (\mod p))$ over a truncated p-polynomials ring, which also contain the well-known Radford algebras as Hopf subalgebras. Some open questions are proposed.

Generating Functions with $τ$-Invariance and Vertex Representations of Quantum Affine Algebras $U_{r,s}(\widehat{\mathfrak{g}})$ (I): Simply-laced Cases

We put forward the exact version of two-parameter generating functions with $τ$-invariance, which allows us to give a unified and inherent definition for the Drinfeld realization of two-parameter quantum affine algebras for all the untwisted types. As verification, we first construct their level-one vertex representations of $U_{r,s}(\widehat{\mathfrak{g}})$ for simply-laced types, which in turn well-detect the effectiveness of our definitions both for $(r,s)$-generating functions and $(r,s)$-Drinfeld realization in the framework of establishing the two-parameter vertex representation theory.

Matching realization of $U_q(sl_{n+1})$ of higher rank in the quantum Weyl algebra $\mathcal W_q(2n)$

In the paper, we further realize the higher rank quantized universal enveloping algebra $U_q(sl_{n+1})$ as certain quantum differential operators in $\mathcal W_q(2n)$ defined over the quantum divided power algebra $\mathcal{A}_q(n)$ of rank $n$. We give the quantum differential operators realization for both the simple root vectors and the non-simple root vectors of $U_q(sl_{n+1})$. The nice behavior of the quantum root vectors formulas under the action of the Lusztig symmetries once again indicates that our realization model is naturally matched.

On the Center of Two-parameter Quantum Groups $U_{r,s}(\mathfrak{so}_{2n+1})$

The paper mainly considers the center of two-parameter quantum groups $U_{r,s}(\mathfrak{so}_{2n+1})$ via an analogue of the Harish-Chandra homomorphism. In the case when $n$ is odd, the Harish-Chandra homomorphism is not injective in general. When $n$ is even, the Harish-Chandra homomorphism is injective and the center of two-parameter quantum groups $U_{r,s}{(\mathfrak{so}_{2n+1})}$ is described, up to isomorphism.

Loewy filtration and quantum de Rham cohomology over quantum divided power algebra

The paper explores the indecomposable submodule structures of quantum divided power algebra $\mathcal{A}_q(n)$ defined in \cite{HU} and its truncated objects $\mathcal{A}_q(n, \bold m)$. An "intertwinedly-lifting" method is established to prove the indecomposability of a module when its socle is non-simple. The Loewy filtrations are described for all homogeneous subspaces $\mathcal{A}^{(s)}_q(n)$ or $\mathcal{A}_q^{(s)}(n, \bold m)$, the Loewy layers and dimensions are determined. The rigidity of these indecomposable modules is proved. An interesting combinatorial identity is derived from our realization model for a class of indecomposable $\mathfrak{u}_q(\mathfrak{sl}_n)$-modules. Meanwhile, the quantum Grassmann algebra $Ω_q(n)$ over $\mathcal{A}_q(n)$ is constructed, together with the quantum de Rham complex $(Ω_q(n), d^\bullet)$ via defining the appropriate $q$-differentials, and its subcomplex $(Ω_q(n,\bold m), d^\bullet)$. For the latter, the corresponding quantum de Rham cohomology modules are decomposed into the direct sum of some sign-trivial $\mathfrak{u}_q(\mathfrak{sl}_n)$-modules.

Multi-parameter Quantum Groups via Quantum Quasi-Symmetric Algebras

It is proved that the entire multi-parameter (small-)quantum groups of symmetrizable Kac-Moody algebras can be realized as certain subquotients of the cotensor Hopf algebras. This is an axiomatic construction. Hopf 2-cocycle deformations variation for the construction machinery is described, moreover, the integrable irreducible modules can be constructed using this setting, even available for those in the fundamental alcove at root of unity case.

Cyclic Homology of Strong Smash Product Algebras

For any strong smash product algebra $A\#_{_R}B$ of two algebras $A$ and $B$ with a bijective morphism $R$ mapping from $B\ot A$ to $A\ot B$, we construct a cylindrical module $A\natural B$ whose diagonal cyclic module $Δ_{\bullet}(A\natural B)$ is graphically proven to be isomorphic to $C_{\bullet}(A\#_{_R}B)$ the cyclic module of the algebra. A spectral sequence is established to converge to the cyclic homology of $A\#_{_R}B$. Examples are provided to show how our results work. Particularly, the cyclic homology of the Pareigis' Hopf algebra is obtained in the way.

Convex PBW-Type Lyndon Bases and Restricted Two-parameter Quantum Groups of Type B

We construct convex PBW-type Lyndon bases for two-parameter quantum groups U_{r,s}({so}_{2n+1}) with detailed commutation relations. It turns out that under a certain condition, the restricted two-parameter quantum group u_{r,s}({so}_{2n+1}) (r, s are roots of unity) is of Drinfeld double. All of Hopf isomorphisms of u_{r,s}({so}_{2n+1}), as well as u_{r,s}({sl}_n) are determined. Finally, necessary and sufficient conditions for u_{r,s}({so}_{2n+1}) to be a ribbon Hopf algebra are singled out by describing the left and right integrals.

Multi-parameter Quantum Groups and Quantum Shuffles, (I)

In this article, we study the multi-parameter quantum groups defined by generators and relations associated with symmetrizable generalized Cartan matrices, together with their representations in the category $\mathcal O$. This presentation will be convenient for our later discussions. We present two explicit descriptions here: as a Hopf 2-cocycle deformation, and as the multi-parameter quantum shuffle realization of the positive part.

Quantizations of generalized Cartan type $S$ Lie algebras and of the special algebra $\mathbf{S}(n;\underline{1})$ in the modular case

The generalized Cartan type $\mathbf{S}$ Lie algebras in char 0 with the Lie bialgebra structures involved are quantized, where the Drinfel'd twist we used is proved to be a variation of the Jordanian twist. As the passage from char 0 to char p, their quantization integral forms are given. By the modular reduction and base changes, we obtain certain quantizations of the restricted universal enveloping algebra $\mathbf u(\mathbf{S}(n;\underline{1}))$ (for the Cartan type simple modular restricted Lie algebra $\mathbf{S}(n;\underline{1})$ of $\mathbf{S}$ type). They are new Hopf algebras of truncated $p$-polynomial noncommutative and noncocommutative deformation of dimension $p^{1+(n-1)(p^n-1)}$, which contain the well-known Radford algebra (\cite{DR}) as a Hopf subalgebra. As a by-product, we also get some Jordanian quantizations for $\mathfrak {sl}_n$, which are induced from those horizontal quantizations of $\mathbf S(n;\underline1)$.

Drinfel'd Doubles and Lusztig's Symmetries of Two-Parameter Quantum Groups

We find the defining structures of two-parameter quantum groups $U_{r,s}(\frak g)$ corresponding to the orthogonal and the symplectic Lie algebras, which are realized as Drinfel'd doubles. We further investigate the environment conditions upon which the Lusztig's symmetries exist between $(U_{r,s}(\frak g), < ,>)$ and its associated object $(U_{s^{-1}, r^{-1}}(\frak g), < | >)$.

Representations of Two-parameter Quantum Orthogonal and Symplectic Groups

We investigate the finite-dimensional representation theory of two-parameter quantum orthogonal and symplectic groups that we found in [BGH] under the assumption that $rs^{-1}$ is not a root of unity and extend some results [BW1, BW2] obtained for type $A$ to types $B$, $C$ and $D$. We construct the corresponding $R$-matrices and the quantum Casimir operators, by which we prove that the complete reducibility Theorem also holds for the categories of finite-dimensional weight modules for types $B$, $C$, $D$.
