Monoidal categorification and quantum affine algebras II

We introduce a new family of real simple modules over the quantum affine algebras, called the affine determinantial modules, which contains the Kirillov-Reshetikhin (KR)-modules as a special subfamily, and then prove T-systems among them which generalize the T-systems among KR-modules and unipotent quantum minors in the quantum unipotent coordinate algebras simultaneously. We develop new combinatorial tools: admissible chains of i-boxes which produce commuting families of affine determinantial modules, and box moves which describe the T-system in a combinatorial way. Using these results, we prove that various module categories over the quantum affine algebras provide monoidal categorifications of cluster algebras. As special cases, Hernandez-Leclerc categories provide monoidal categorifications of the cluster algebras for an arbitrary quantum affine algebra.

Braid group action on the module category of quantum affine algebras

Let $\mathfrak{g}_0$ be a simple Lie algebra of type ADE and let $U'_q(\mathfrak{g})$ be the corresponding untwisted quantum affine algebra. We show that there exists an action of the braid group $B(\mathfrak{g}_0)$ on the quantum Grothendieck ring $K_t(\mathfrak{g})$ of Hernandez-Leclerc's category $C_{\mathfrak{g}}^0$. Focused on the case of type $A_{N-1}$, we construct a family of monoidal autofunctors $\{\mathscr{S}_i\}_{i\in \mathbb{Z}}$ on a localization $T_N$ of the category of finite-dimensional graded modules over the quiver Hecke algebra of type $A_{\infty}$. Under an isomorphism between the Grothendieck ring $K(T_N)$ of $T_N$ and the quantum Grothendieck ring $K_t({A^{(1)}_{N-1}})$, the functors $\{\mathscr{S}_i\}_{1\le i\le N-1}$ recover the action of the braid group $B(A_{N-1})$. We investigate further properties of these functors.

Categories over quantum affine algebras and monoidal categorification

Let $U_q'(\mathfrak{g})$ be a quantum affine algebra of untwisted affine $ADE$ type, and $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^0$ the Hernandez-Leclerc category of finite-dimensional $U_q'(\mathfrak{g})$-modules. For a suitable infinite sequence $\widehat{w}_0= \cdots s_{i_{-1}}s_{i_0}s_{i_1} \cdots$ of simple reflections, we introduce subcategories $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^{[a,b]}$ of $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^0$ for all $a \le b \in \mathbb{Z}\sqcup\{ \pm \infty \}$. Associated with a certain chain $\mathfrak{C}$ of intervals in $[a,b]$, we construct a real simple commuting family $M(\mathfrak{C})$ in $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^{[a,b]}$, which consists of Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules. The category $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^{[a,b]}$ provides a monoidal categorification of the cluster algebra $K(\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^{[a,b]})$, whose set of initial cluster variables is $[M(\mathfrak{C})]$. In particular, this result gives an affirmative answer to the monoidal categorification conjecture on $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^-$ by Hernandez-Leclerc since it is $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^{[-\infty,0]}$, and is also applicable to $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^0$ since it is $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^{[-\infty,\infty]}$.

Localizations for quiver Hecke algebras

We provide the localization procedure for monoidal categories by a real commuting family of braiders. For an element $w$ of the Weyl group, $\mathscr{C}_w$ is a subcategory of modules over quiver Hecke algebra which categorifies the quantum unipotent coordinate algebra $A_q[\mathfrak{n}(w)]$. We construct the localization $\widetilde{\mathscr{C}_w}$ of $\mathscr{C}_w$ by adding the inverses of simple modules which correspond to the frozen variables in the quantum cluster algebra $A_q[\mathfrak{n}(w)]$. The localization $\widetilde{\mathscr{C}_w}$ is left rigid and we expect that it is rigid.

PBW theoretic approach to the module category of quantum affine algebras

Let $U_q'(\mathfrak{g})$ be a quantum affine algebra of untwisted affine ADE type and let $\mathcal{C}^0_{\mathfrak{g}}$ be Hernandez-Leclerc's category. For a duality datum $\mathcal{D}$ in $\mathcal{C}^0_{\mathfrak{g}}$, we denote by $\mathcal{F}_{\mathcal{D}}$ the quantum affine Weyl-Schur duality functor. We give sufficient conditions for a duality datum $\mathcal{D}$ to provide the functor $\mathcal{F}_{\mathcal{D}}$ sending simple modules to simple modules. Then we introduce the notion of cuspidal modules in $\mathcal{C}^0_{\mathfrak{g}}$, and show that all simple modules in $\mathcal{C}^0_{\mathfrak{g}}$ can be constructed as the heads of ordered tensor products of cuspidal modules.

Monoidal categorification of cluster algebras II

We prove that the quantum unipotent coordinate algebra $A_q(\mathfrak{n}(w))\ $ associated with a symmetric Kac-Moody algebra and its Weyl group element $w$ has a monoidal categorification as a quantum cluster algebra. As an application of our earlier work, we achieve it by showing the existence of a quantum monoidal seed of $A_q(\mathfrak{n}(w))$ which admits the first-step mutations in all the directions. As a consequence, we solve the conjecture that any cluster monomial is a member of the upper global basis up to a power of $q^{1/2}$.

Regular and irregular holonomic D-modules

This is a survey paper based on a series of lectures given at the IHES in February/March 2015. In a first part, we recall the main results on the tempered holomorphic solutions of D-modules in the language of indsheaves and, as an application, the Riemann-Hilbert correspondence for regular holonomic modules. In a second part, we present the enhanced version of the first part, treating along the same lines the irregular holonomic case.

Symmetric quiver Hecke algebras and R-matrices of Quantum affine algebras IV

Let $U'_q(\mathfrak{g})$ be a twisted affine quantum group of type $A_{N}^{(2)}$ or $D_{N}^{(2)}$ and let $\mathfrak{g}_{0}$ be the finite-dimensional simple Lie algebra of type $A_{N}$ or $D_{N}$. For a Dynkin quiver of type $\mathfrak{g}_{0}$, we define a full subcategory ${\mathcal C}_{Q}^{(2)}$ of the category of finite-dimensional integrable $U'_q(\mathfrak{g})$-modules, a twisted version of the category ${\mathcal C}_{Q}$ introduced by Hernandez and Leclerc. Applying the general scheme of affine Schur-Weyl duality, we construct an exact faithful KLR-type duality functor ${\mathcal F}_{Q}^{(2)}: Rep(R) \rightarrow {\mathcal C}_{Q}^{(2)}$, where $Rep(R)$ is the category of finite-dimensional modules over the quiver Hecke algebra $R$ of type $\mathfrak{g}_{0}$ with nilpotent actions of the generators $x_k$. We show that ${\mathcal F}_{Q}^{(2)}$ sends any simple object to a simple object and induces a ring isomorphism $K(Rep(R)) \simeq K({\mathcal C}_{Q}^{(2)})$.

Dual Perfect Bases and dual perfect graphs

We introduce the notion of dual perfect bases and dual perfect graphs. We show that every integrable highest weight module $V_q(λ)$ over a quantum generalized Kac-Moody algebra $U_{q}(\mathcal{g})$ has a dual perfect basis and its dual perfect graph is isomorphic to the crystal $B(λ)$. We also show that the negative half $U_{q}^{-}(\mathcal{g})$ has a dual perfect basis whose dual perfect graph is isomorphic to the crystal $B(\infty)$. More generally, we prove that all the dual perfect graphs of a given dual perfect space are isomorphic as abstract crystals. Finally, we show that the isomorphism classes of finitely generated graded projective indecomposable modules over a Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebra and its cyclotomic quotients form dual perfect bases for their Grothendieck groups.

Monoidal categorification of cluster algebras

We give a definition of monoidal categorifications of quantum cluster algebras and provide a criterion for a monoidal category of finite-dimensional graded $R$-modules to become a monoidal categorification of a quantum cluster algebra, where $R$ is a symmetric Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebra. Roughly speaking, this criterion asserts that a quantum monoidal seed can be mutated successively in all the directions once the first-step mutations are possible. In the course of the study, we also give a proof of a conjecture of Leclerc on the product of upper global basis elements.

Crystal bases for the quantum queer superalgebra and semistandard decomposition tableaux

In this paper, we give an explicit combinatorial realization of the crystal B(λ) for an irreducible highest weight U_q(q(n))-module V(λ) in terms of semistandard decomposition tableaux. We present an insertion scheme for semistandard decomposition tableaux and give algorithms of decomposing the tensor product of q(n)-crystals. Consequently, we obtain explicit combinatorial descriptions of the shifted Littlewood-Richardson coefficients.

Microlocal Euler classes and Hochschild homology

We define the notion of a trace kernel on a manifold M. Roughly speaking, it is a sheaf on M x M for which the formalism of Hochschild homology applies. We associate a microlocal Euler class to such a kernel, a cohomology class with values in the relative dualizing complex of the cotangent bundle over M and we prove that this class is functorial with respect to the composition of kernels. This generalizes, unifies and simplifies various results of (relative) index theorems for constructible sheaves, D-modules and elliptic pairs.

Quiver Hecke superalgebras

We introduce a new family of superalgebras which should be considered as a super version of the Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebras. Let $I$ be the set of vertices of a Dynkin diagram with parity. To this data, we associate a family of graded superalgebras, the quiver Hecke superalgebras. When there are no odd vertices, these algebras are nothing but the usual Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebras. We then define another family of graded superalgebras, the quiver Hecke-Clifford superalgebras, and show that they are weakly Morita superequivalent to the quiver Hecke superalgebras. Moreover, we prove that the affine Hecke-Clifford superalgebras, as well as their degenerate version, the affine Sergeev superalgebras, are isomorphic to the quiver Hecke-Clifford superalgebras after a completion.

Supercategorification of quantum Kac-Moody algebras II

In this paper, we investigate the supercategories consisting of supermodules over quiver Hecke superalgebras and cyclotomic quiver Hecke superalgebras. We prove that these supercategories provide a supercategorification of a certain family of quantum superalgebras and their integrable highest weight modules. We show that, by taking a specialization, we obtain a supercategorification of quantum Kac-Moody superalgebras and their integrable highest weight modules.

Symmetric quiver Hecke algebras and R-matrices of quantum affine algebras II

Let $\g$ be an untwisted affine Kac-Moody algebra of type $A^{(1)}_n$ $(n \ge 1)$ or $D^{(1)}_n$ $(n \ge 4)$ and let $\g_0$ be the underlying finite-dimensional simple Lie subalgebra of $\g$. For each Dynkin quiver $Q$ of type $\g_0$, Hernandez and Leclerc (\cite{HL11}) introduced a tensor subcategory $\CC_Q$ of the category of finite-dimensional integrable $\uqpg$-modules and proved that the Grothendieck ring of $\CC_Q$ is isomorphic to $\C [N]$, the coordinate ring of the unipotent group $N$ associated with $\g_0$. We apply the generalized quantum affine Schur-Weyl duality introduced in \cite{KKK13} to construct an exact functor $\F$ from the category of finite-dimensional graded $R$-modules to the category $\CC_Q$, where $R$ denotes the symmetric quiver Hecke algebra associated to $\g_0$. We prove that the homomorphism induced by the functor $\F$ coincides with the homomorphism of Hernandez and Leclerc and show that the functor $\F$ sends the simple modules to the simple modules.

Categorification of Highest Weight Modules via Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier Algebras

In this paper, we prove Khovanov-Lauda's cyclotomic categorification conjecture for all symmetrizable Kac-Moody algebras. Let $U_q(g)$ be the quantum group associated with a symmetrizable Cartan datum and let $V(Λ)$ be the irreducible highest weight $U_q(g)$-module with a dominant integral highest weight $Λ$. We prove that the cyclotomic Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebra $R^Λ$ gives a categorification of $V(Λ)$.

Geometric realization of Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebras associated with Borcherds-Cartan data

We construct a geometric realization of the Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebra $R$ associated with a symmetric Borcherds-Cartan matrix $A=(a_{ij})_{i,j\in I}$ via quiver varieties. As an application, if $a_{ii} \ne 0$ for any $i\in I$, we prove that there exists a 1-1 correspondence between Kashiwara's lower global basis (or Lusztig's canonical basis) of $U_\A^-(\g)$ (resp.\ $V_\A(λ)$) and the set of isomorphism classes of indecomposable projective graded modules over $R$ (resp.\ $R^λ$).

On a reconstruction theorem for holonomic systems

Let X be a complex manifold. The classical Riemann-Hilbert correspondence associates to a regular holonomic system M the C-constructible complex of its holomorphic solutions. Denote by t the affine coordinate in the complex projective line. If M is not necessarily regular, we associate to it the ind-R-constructible complex G of tempered holomorphic solutions to the exterior product of M with the D-module associated with the exponential e^t. We conjecture that this provides a Riemann-Hilbert correspondence for holonomic systems. We discuss the functoriality of this correspondence, we prove that M can be reconstructed from G if X has dimension 1, and we show how the Stokes data are encoded in G.

On Level Zero Representations of Quantized Affine Algebras

We study the properties of level zero modules over quantized affine algebras. The proof of the conjecture on the cyclicity of tensor products by Akasaka and the present author is given. Several properties of modules generated by extremal vectors are proved. The weights of a module generated by an extremal vector are contained in the convex hull of the Weyl group orbit of the extremalweight. The universal extremal weight module with level zero fundamental weight as an extremal weight is irreducible, and isomorphic to the affinization of an irreducible finite-dimensional module.

Deformation quantization modules

We study modules over stacks of deformation quantization algebroids on complex Poisson manifolds. We prove finiteness and duality theorems in the relative case and construct the Hochschild class of coherent modules. We prove that this class commutes with composition of kernels, a kind of Riemann-Roch theorem in the non-commutative setting. Finally we study holonomic modules on complex symplectic manifolds and we prove in particular a constructibility theorem.

Deformation quantization modules I:Finiteness and duality

We introduce the notion of being cohomologically complete for objects of the derived category of sheaves of $Z[\hbar]$-modules on a topological space. Then we consider a $Z[\hbar]$-algebra satisfying some suitable conditions and prove coherency results by using the property of being cohomologically complete. We apply these results to the study of modules over deformation quantization algebroids on complex Poisson manifolds. We prove in particular that under a natural properness condition, the convolution of two coherent kernels over such algebroids is coherent. We also construct the dualizing complexes in this framework and show that the convolution of kernels commutes with duality.

Deformation quantization modules II. Hochschild class

This paper is the continuation of arXiv:0802.1245. We construct the Hochschild class for coherent modules over a deformation quantization algebroid on a complex Poisson manifold. We also define the convolution of Hochschild homologies, and prove that the Hochschild class of the convolution of two coherent modules is the convolution of their Hochschild classes. We study with some details the case of symplectic deformations.

On quantization of complex symplectic manifolds

Let X be a complex symplectic manifold. By showing that any Lagrangian subvariety has a unique lift to a contactification, we associate to X a triangulated category of regular holonomic microdifferential modules. If X is compact, this is a Calabi-Yau category of complex dimension dim X+1. We further show that regular holonomic microdifferential modules can be realized as modules over a quantization algebroid canonically associated to X.

Crystals and affine Hecke algebras of type D

The Lascoux-Leclerc-Thibon-Ariki theory asserts that the K-group of the representations of the affine Hecke algebras of type A is isomorphic to the algebra of functions on the maximal unipotent subgroup of the group associated with a Lie algebra $g$ where $g$ is $gl_\infty$ or the affine Lie algebra $A^{(1)}_\ell$, and the irreducible representations correspond to the upper global bases. Recently, N. Enomoto and the first author presented the notion of symmetric crystals and formulated analogous conjectures for the affine Hecke algebras of type B. In this note, we present similar conjectures for certain classes of irreducible representations of affine Hecke algebras of type D. The crystal for type D is a double cover of the one for type B.

Truncated microsupport and holomorphic solutions of D-modules

We study the truncated microsupport $Ss_k$ of sheaves on a real manifold. Applying our results to the case of $F=RHom_D(M,O)$, the complex of holomorphic solutions of a coherent $D$-module $M$, we show that $Ss_k(F)$ is completely determined by the characteristic variety of $M$. As an application, we obtain an extension theorem for the sections of $H^j(F)$, $j<d$, defined on an open subset whose boundary is non characteristic outside of a complex analytic subvariety of codimension $d$. We also give a characterization of the perversity for ${\bf C}$-constructible sheaves in terms of their truncated microsupports.

Geometric Construction of Crystal Bases

We realize the crystal associated to the quantized enveloping algebras with a symmetric generalized Cartan matrix as a set of Lagrangian subvarieties of the cotangent bundle of the quiver variety. As a by-product, we give a counterexample to the conjecture of Kazhdan--Lusztig on the irreducibility of the characteristic variety of the intersection cohomology sheaves associated with the Schubert cells of type A and also to the similar problem asked by Lusztig on the characteristic variety of the perverse sheaves corresponding to canonical bases.
