On Lipschitz continuity of solutions of hyperbolic Poisson's equation

In this paper, we investigate solutions of the hyperbolic Poisson equation Δhu(x)=ψ(x)Δ_{h}u(x)=ψ(x), where ψ∈L∞(Bn,Rn)ψ\in L^{\infty}(\mathbb{B}^{n}, \mathbb{R}^n) and Δhu(x)=(1−∣x∣2)2Δu(x)+2(n−2)(1−∣x∣2)∑i=1nxi∂u∂xi(x) Δ_{h}u(x)= (1-|x|^2)^2Δu(x)+2(n-2)(1-|x|^2)\sum_{i=1}^{n} x_{i} \frac{\partial u}{\partial x_{i}}(x) is the hyperbolic Laplace operator in the nn-dimensional space Rn\mathbb{R}^n for n≥2n\ge 2. We show that if n≥3n\geq 3 and u∈C2(Bn,Rn)∩C(Bn‾,Rn)u\in C^{2}(\mathbb{B}^{n},\mathbb{R}^n) \cap C(\overline{\mathbb{B}^{n}},\mathbb{R}^n ) is a solution to the hyperbolic Poisson equation, then it has the representation u=Ph[ϕ]−Gh[ψ]u=P_{h}[ϕ]-G_{ h}[ψ] provided that u∣Sn−1=ϕu\mid_{\mathbb{S}^{n-1}}=ϕ and ∫Bn(1−∣x∣2)n−1∣ψ(x)∣ dτ(x)<∞\int_{\mathbb{B}^{n}}(1-|x|^{2})^{n-1} |ψ(x)|\,dτ(x)<\infty. Here PhP_{h} and GhG_{h} denote Poisson and Green integrals with respect to ΔhΔ_{h}, respectively. Furthermore, we prove that functions of the form u=Ph[ϕ]−Gh[ψ]u=P_{h}[ϕ]-G_{h}[ψ] are Lipschitz continuous.

Koebe and Caratheódory type boundary behavior results for harmonic mappings

We study the behavior of the boundary function of a harmonic mapping from global and local points of view. Results related to the Koebe lemma are proved, as well as a generalization of a boundary behavior theorem by Bshouty, Lyzzaik and Weitsman. We also discuss this result from a different point of view, from which a relation between the boundary behavior of the dilatation at a boundary point and the continuity of the boundary function of our mapping can be seen.

Optimal estimates for hyperbolic harmonic mappings in Hardy space

Assume that p∈(1,∞]p\in(1,\infty] and u=Ph[ϕ]u=P_{h}[ϕ], where ϕ∈Lp(Sn−1,Rn)ϕ\in L^{p}(\mathbb{S}^{n-1},\mathbb{R}^{n}). Then for any x∈Bnx\in \mathbb{B}^{n}, we obtain the sharp inequalities ∣u(x)∣≤Cq1q(x)(1−∣x∣2)n−1p∥ϕ∥Lpand∣u(x)∣≤Cq1q(1−∣x∣2)n−1p∥ϕ∥Lp |u(x)|\leq \frac{\mathbf{C}_{q}^{\frac{1}{q}}(x)}{(1-|x|^2)^{\frac{n-1 }{p}}} \|ϕ\|_{L^{p}} \quad\text{and}\quad |u(x)|\leq \frac{\mathbf{C}_{q}^{\frac{1}{q}} }{(1-|x|^2)^{\frac{n-1 }{p}}} \|ϕ\|_{L^{p} } for some function Cq(x)\mathbf{C}_{q}(x) and constant Cq\mathbf{C}_{q} in terms of Gauss hypergeometric and Gamma functions, where qq is the conjugate of pp. This result generalize and extend some known result from harmonic mapping theory ([5, Theorems 1.1 and 1.2] and [1, Proposition 6.16]).

Schwarz lemma for hyperbolic harmonic mappings in the unit ball

Assume that p∈[1,∞]p\in[1,\infty] and u=Ph[ϕ]u=P_{h}[ϕ], where ϕ∈Lp(Sn−1,Rn)ϕ\in L^{p}(\mathbb{S}^{n-1},\mathbb{R}^n) and u(0)=0u(0) = 0. Then we obtain the sharp inequality ∣u(x)∣≤Gp(∣x∣)∥ϕ∥Lp|u(x)|\le G_p(|x|)\|ϕ\|_{L^{p}} for some smooth function GpG_p vanishing at 00. Moreover, we obtain an explicit form of the sharp constant CpC_p in the inequality ∥Du(0)∥≤Cp∥ϕ∥Lp\|Du(0)\|\le C_p\|ϕ\|_{L^{p}}. These two results generalize and extend some known result from harmonic mapping theory (\cite[Theorem 2.1]{kalaj2018}) and hyperbolic harmonic theory (\cite[Theorem 1]{bur}).

Geometric properties of log⁡\log-polyharmonic mappings

In this paper, a class of log⁡\log-polyharmonic mappings LpH\mathcal{L}_p\mathcal{H} together with its subclass LpH(G)\mathcal{L}_p\mathcal{H}(G) in the unit disk D={z:∣z∣<1}\mathbb{D}=\{z: |z|<1\} is introduced, and several geometrical properties such as the starlikeness, convexity and univalence are investigated. In particular, we consider the Goodman-Saff conjecture and prove that the conjecture is true in LpH(G)\mathcal{L}_p\mathcal{H}(G).

On the Lipschitz continuity of certain quasiregular mappings between smooth Jordan domains

We first investigate the Lipschitz continuity of (K,K′)(K, K')-quasiregular C2C^2 mappings between two Jordan domains with smooth boundaries, satisfying certain partial differential inequalities concerning Laplacian. Then two applications of the obtained result are given: As a direct consequence, we get the Lipschitz continuity of ρρ-harmonic (K,K′)(K, K')-quasiregular mappings, and as the other application, we study the Lipschitz continuity of (K,K′)(K,K')-quasiconformal self-mappings of the unit disk, which are the solutions of the Poisson equation Δw=gΔw=g. These results generalize and extend several recently obtained results by Kalaj, Mateljević and Pavlović.

Coefficient estimates and the Fekete-Szeg\H o problem for certain classes of polyharmonic mappings

We give coefficient estimates for a class of close-to-convex harmonic mappings, and discuss the Fekete-Szegő problem of it. We also introduce two classes of polyharmonic mappings HSp\mathcal{HS}_{p} and HCp\mathcal{HC}_{p}, consider the starlikeness and convexity of them, and obtain coefficient estimates on them. Finally, we give a necessary condition for a mapping FF to be in the class HCp\mathcal{HC}_{p}.

On polyharmonic univalent mappings

In this paper, we introduce a class of complex-valued polyharmonic mappings, denoted by HSp(λ)HS_{p}(λ), and its subclass HSp0(λ)HS_{p}^{0}(λ), where λ∈[0,1]λ\in [0,1] is a constant. These classes are natural generalizations of a class of mappings studied by Goodman in 1950's. We generalize the main results of Avci and Złotkiewicz from 1990's to the classes HSp(λ)HS_{p}(λ) and HSp0(λ)HS_{p}^{0}(λ), showing that the mappings in HSp(λ)HS_{p}(λ) are univalent and sense preserving. We also prove that the mappings in HSp0(λ)HS_{p}^{0}(λ) are starlike with respect to the origin, and characterize the extremal points of the above classes.
