Large N limit of spectral duality in classical integrable systems

We describe the large $N$ limit of spectral duality between rational Gaudin models introduced by Adams, Harnad and Hurtubise. The limit of the ${\rm gl}_N$ model is performed by means of a noncommutative torus algebra represented by the fields on a torus with the Moyal-Weyl star product. We apply the approach developed by Hoppe, Olshanetsky and Theisen to the Gaudin-type models and describe the corresponding integrable field theory (2d hydrodynamics) on a torus. The dual model is the large $N$ limit of the ${\rm gl}_M$ Gaudin model with $N$ marked points written in the form of the Gaudin model with irregular singularities.

Classical r-matrix structure for elliptic Ruijsenaars chain and 1+1 field analogue of Ruijsenaars-Schneider model

The classical dynamical $r$-matrix structure for the periodic elliptic Ruijsenaars chain is described. The Poisson brackets for the monodromy matrix are calculated as well, thus providing Liouville integrability of the model. Next, we study its continuous non-relativistic limit and reproduce the Maillet type non-ultralocal $r$-matrix structure for the field analogue of the elliptic Calogero-Moser model.

2d Integrable systems, 4d Chern-Simons theory and Affine Higgs bundles

In this short review we compare constructions of 2d integrable models by means of two gauge field theories. The first one is the 4d Chern-Simons (4d-CS) theory proposed by Costello and Yamazaki. The second one is the 2d generalization of the Hitchin integrable systems constructed by means the Affine Higgs bundles (AHB). We illustrate this approach by considering 1+1 field versions of elliptic integrable systems including the Calogero-Moser field theory, the Landau-Lifshitz model and the field theory generalization of the elliptic Gaudin model.

Dualities in quantum integrable many-body systems and integrable probabilities -- I

In this study we map the dualities observed in the framework of integrable probabilities into the dualities familiar in a realm of integrable many-body systems. The dualities between the pairs of stochastic processes involve one representative from Macdonald-Schur family, while the second representative is from stochastic higher spin six-vertex model of TASEP family. We argue that these dualities are counterparts and generalizations of the familiar quantum-quantum (QQ) dualities between pairs of integrable systems. One integrable system from QQ dual pair belongs to the family of inhomogeneous XXZ spin chains, while the second to the Calogero-Moser-Ruijsenaars-Schneider (CM-RS) family. The wave functions of the Hamiltonian system from CM-RS family are known to be related to solutions to (q)KZ equations at the inhomogeneous spin chain side. When the wave function gets substituted by the measure, bilinear in wave functions, a similar correspondence holds true. As an example, we have elaborated in some details a new duality between the discrete-time inhomogeneous multispecies TASEP model on the circle and the quantum Goldfish model from the RS family. We present the precise map of the inhomogeneous multispecies TASEP and 5-vertex model to the trigonometric and rational Goldfish models respectively, where the TASEP local jump rates get identified as the coordinates in the Goldfish model. Some comments concerning the relation of dualities in the stochastic processes with the dualities in SUSY gauge models with surface operators included are made.

Higher rank 1+1 integrable Landau-Lifshitz field theories from associative Yang-Baxter equation

We propose a construction of 1+1 integrable Heisenberg-Landau-Lifshitz type equations in the ${\rm gl}_N$ case. The dynamical variables are matrix elements of $N\times N$ matrix $S$ with the property $S^2={\rm const}\cdot S$. The Lax pair with spectral parameter is constructed by means of a quantum $R$-matrix satisfying the associative Yang-Baxter equation. Equations of motion for ${\rm gl}_N$ Landau-Lifshitz model are derived from the Zakharov-Shabat equations. The model is simplified when ${\rm rank}(S)=1$. In this case the Hamiltonian description is suggested. The described family of models includes the elliptic model coming from ${\rm GL}_N$ Baxter-Belavin elliptic $R$-matrix. In $N=2$ case the widely known Sklyanin's elliptic Lax pair for XYZ Landau-Lifshitz equation is reproduced. Our construction is also valid for trigonometric and rational degenerations of the elliptic $R$-matrix.

Scalar products of Bethe vectors in the 8-vertex model

We obtain a determinant representation of normalized scalar products of on-shell and off-shell Bethe vectors in the inhomogeneous 8-vertex model. We consider the case of rational anisotropy parameter and use the generalized algebraic Bethe ansatz approach. Our method is to obtain a system of linear equations for the scalar products, prove its solvability and solve it in terms of determinants of explicitly known matrices.

Characteristic determinant and Manakov triple for the double elliptic integrable system

Using the intertwining matrix of the IRF-Vertex correspondence we propose a determinant representation for the generating function of the commuting Hamiltonians of the double elliptic integrable system. More precisely, it is a ratio of the normally ordered determinants, which turns into a single determinant in the classical case. With its help we reproduce the recently suggested expression for the eigenvalues of the Hamiltonians for the dual to elliptic Ruijsenaars model. Next, we study the classical counterpart of our construction, which gives expression for the spectral curve and the corresponding $L$-matrix. This matrix is obtained explicitly as a weighted average of the Ruijsenaars and/or Sklyanin type Lax matrices with the weights as in the theta function series definition. By construction the $L$-matrix satisfies the Manakov triple representation instead of the Lax equation. Finally, we discuss the factorized structure of the $L$-matrix.

Field theory generalizations of two-body Calogero-Moser models in the form of Landau-Lifshitz equations

We give detailed description for continuous version of the classical IRF-Vertex relation, where on the IRF side we deal with the Calogero-Moser-Sutherland models. Our study is based on constructing modifications of the Higgs bundles of infinite rank over elliptic curve and its degenerations. In this way the previously predicted gauge equivalence between L-A pairs of the Landau-Lifshitz type equations and 1+1 field theory generalization of the Calogero-Moser-Sutherland models is described. In this paper the ${\rm sl}_2$ case is studied. Explicit changes of variables are obtained between the rational, trigonometric and elliptic models.

Odd supersymmetrization of elliptic R-matrices

We study a general ansatz for an odd supersymmetric version of the Kronecker elliptic function, which satisfies the genus one Fay identity. The obtained result is used for construction of the odd supersymmetric analogue for the classical and quantum elliptic $R$-matrices. They are shown to satisfy the classical Yang-Baxter equation and the associative Yang-Baxter equation. The quantum Yang-Baxter is discussed as well. It acquires additional term in the case of supersymmetric $R$-matrices.

Quantum-classical duality for Gaudin magnets with boundary

We establish a remarkable relationship between the quantum Gaudin models with boundary and the classical many-body integrable systems of Calogero-Moser type associated with the root systems of classical Lie algebras (B, C and D). We show that under identification of spectra of the Gaudin Hamiltonians $H_j^{\rm G}$ with particles velocities $\dot q_j$ of the classical model all integrals of motion of the latter take zero values. This is the generalization of the quantum-classical duality observed earlier for Gaudin models with periodic boundary conditions and Calogero-Moser models associated with the root system of the type A.

Relativistic interacting integrable elliptic tops

We propose relativistic generalization of integrable systems describing $M$ interacting elliptic ${\rm gl}(N)$ tops of the Euler-Arnold type. The obtained models are elliptic integrable systems, which reproduce the spin elliptic ${\rm GL}(M)$ Ruijsenaars-Schneider model for $N=1$ case, while in the $M=1$ case they turn into relativistic integrable ${\rm GL}(N)$ elliptic tops. The Lax pairs with spectral parameter on elliptic curve are constructed.

Associative Yang-Baxter equation for quantum (semi-)dynamical R-matrices

In this paper we propose versions of the associative Yang-Baxter equation and higher order $R$-matrix identities which can be applied to quantum dynamical $R$-matrices. As is known quantum non-dynamical $R$-matrices of Baxter-Belavin type satisfy this equation. Together with unitarity condition and skew-symmetry it provides the quantum Yang-Baxter equation and a set of identities useful for different applications in integrable systems. The dynamical $R$-matrices satisfy the Gervais-Neveu-Felder (or dynamical Yang-Baxter) equation. Relation between the dynamical and non-dynamical cases is described by the IRF-Vertex transformation. An alternative approach to quantum (semi-)dynamical $R$-matrices and related quantum algebras was suggested by Arutyunov, Chekhov and Frolov (ACF) in their study of the quantum Ruijsenaars-Schneider model. The purpose of this paper is twofold. First, we prove that the ACF elliptic $R$-matrix satisfies the associative Yang-Baxter equation with shifted spectral parameters. Second, we directly prove a simple relation of the IRF-Vertex type between the Baxter-Belavin and the ACF elliptic $R$-matrices predicted previously by Avan and Rollet. It provides the higher order $R$-matrix identities and an explanation of the obtained equations through those for non-dynamical $R$-matrices. As a by-product we also get an interpretation of the intertwining transformation as matrix extension of scalar theta function likewise $R$-matrix is interpreted as matrix extension of the Kronecker function. Relations to the Gervais-Neveu-Felder equation and identities for the Felder's elliptic $R$-matrix are also discussed.

Painleve Field Theory

We propose multidimensional versions of the Painlevé VI equation and its degenerations. These field theories are related to the isomonodromy problems of flat holomorphic infinite rank bundles over elliptic curves and take the form of non-autonomous Hamiltonian equations. The modular parameter of curves plays the role of "time". Reduction of the field equations to the zero modes leads to ${\rm SL}(N, {\mathbb C})$ monodromy preserving equations. The latter coincide with the Painlevé VI equation for $N\!=\!2$. We consider two types of the bundles. In the first one the group of automorphisms is the centrally and cocentrally extended loop group $L({\rm SL}(N, {\mathbb C}))$ or some multiloop group. In the case of the Painlevé VI field theory in D=1+1 four constants of the Painlevé VI equation become dynamical fields. The second type of bundles are defined by the group of automorphisms of the noncommutative torus. They lead to the equations in dimension 2+1. In both cases we consider trigonometric, rational and scaling limits of the theories. Generically (except some degenerate cases) the derived equations are nonlocal. We consider Whitham quasiclassical limit to integrable systems. In this way we derive two and three dimensional integrable nonlocal versions of the integrable Euler-Arnold tops.

Quantum Baxter-Belavin R-matrices and multidimensional Lax pairs for Painleve VI

The quantum elliptic $R$-matrices of Baxter-Belavin type satisfy the associative Yang-Baxter equation in ${\rm Mat}(N,\mathbb C)^{\otimes 3}$. The latter can be considered as noncommutative analogue of the Fay identity for the scalar Kronecker function. In this paper we extend the list of $R$-matrix valued analogues of elliptic function identities. In particular, we propose counterparts of the Fay identities in ${\rm Mat}(N,\mathbb C)^{\otimes 2}$. As an application we construct $R$-matrix valued $2N^2\times 2N^2$ Lax pairs for the Painlevé VI equation (in elliptic form) with four free constants using ${\mathbb Z}_N\times {\mathbb Z}_N$ elliptic $R$-matrix. More precisely, the four free constants case appears for an odd $N$ while even $N$'s correspond to a single constant.

Trigonometric version of quantum-classical duality in integrable systems

We extend the quantum-classical duality to the trigonometric (hyperbolic) case. The duality establishes an explicit relationship between the classical N-body trigonometric Ruijsenaars-Schneider model and the inhomogeneous twisted XXZ spin chain on N sites. Similarly to the rational version, the spin chain data fixes a certain Lagrangian submanifold in the phase space of the classical integrable system. The inhomogeneity parameters are equal to the coordinates of particles while the velocities of classical particles are proportional to the eigenvalues of the spin chain Hamiltonians (residues of the properly normalized transfer matrix). In the rational version of the duality, the action variables of the Ruijsenaars-Schneider model are equal to the twist parameters with some multiplicities defined by quantum (occupation) numbers. In contrast to the rational version, in the trigonometric case there is a splitting of the spectrum of action variables (eigenvalues of the classical Lax matrix). The limit corresponding to the classical Calogero-Sutherland system and quantum trigonometric Gaudin model is also described as well as the XX limit to free fermions.

Yang-Baxter equations with two Planck constants

We consider Yang-Baxter equations arising from its associative analog and study corresponding exchange relations. They generate finite-dimensional quantum algebras which have form of coupled ${\rm GL}(N)$ Sklyanin elliptic algebras. Then we proceed to a natural generalization of the Baxter-Belavin quantum $R$-matrix to the case ${\rm Mat}(N,\mathbb C)^{\otimes 2}\otimes {\rm Mat}(M,\mathbb C)^{\otimes 2}$. It can be viewed as symmetric form of ${\rm GL}(NM)$ $R$-matrix in the sense that the Planck constant and the spectral parameter enter (almost) symmetrically. Such type (symmetric) $R$-matrices are also shown to satisfy the Yang-Baxter like quadratic and cubic equations.

Classical integrable systems and soliton equations related to eleven-vertex R-matrix

In our recent paper we suggested a natural construction of the classical relativistic integrable tops in terms of the quantum $R$-matrices. Here we study the simplest case -- the 11-vertex $R$-matrix and related ${\rm gl}_2$ rational models. The corresponding top is equivalent to the 2-body Ruijsenaars-Schneider (RS) or the 2-body Calogero-Moser (CM) model depending on its description. We give different descriptions of the integrable tops and use them as building blocks for construction of more complicated integrable systems such as Gaudin models and classical spin chains (periodic and with boundaries). The known relation between the top and CM (or RS) models allows to re-write the Gaudin models (or the spin chains) in the canonical variables. Then they assume the form of $n$-particle integrable systems with $2n$ constants. We also describe the generalization of the top to 1+1 field theories. It allows us to get the Landau-Lifshitz type equation. The latter can be treated as non-trivial deformation of the classical continuous Heisenberg model. In a similar way the deformation of the principal chiral model is also described.

Classification of Isomonodromy Problems on Elliptic Curves

We consider the isomonodromy problems for flat $G$-bundles over punctured elliptic curves $Σ_τ$ with regular singularities of connections at marked points. The bundles are classified by their characteristic classes. These classes are elements of the second cohomology group $H^2(Σ_τ,{\mathcal Z}(G))$, where ${\mathcal Z}(G)$ is the center of $G$. For any complex simple Lie group $G$ and arbitrary class we define the moduli space of flat bundles, and in this way construct the monodromy preserving equations in the Hamiltonian form and their Lax representations. In particular, they include the Painlevé VI equation, its multicomponent generalizations and elliptic Schlesinger equations. The general construction is described for punctured curves of arbitrary genus. We extend the Drinfeld-Simpson (double coset) description of the moduli space of Higgs bundles to the case of flat connections. This local description allows us to establish the Symplectic Hecke Correspondence for a wide class of the monodromy preserving equations classified by characteristic classes of underlying bundles. In particular, the Painlevé VI equation can be described in terms of ${\rm SL}(2, {\mathbb C})$-bundles. Since ${\mathcal Z}({\rm SL}(2, {\mathbb C}))= {\mathbb Z}_2$, the Painlevé VI has two representations related by the Hecke transformation: 1) as the well-known elliptic form of the Painlevé VI(for trivial bundles); 2) as the non-autonomous Zhukovsky-Volterra gyrostat (for non-trivial bundles).

Planck Constant as Spectral Parameter in Integrable Systems and KZB Equations

We construct special rational ${\rm gl}_N$ Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov-Bernard (KZB) equations with $\tilde N$ punctures by deformation of the corresponding quantum ${\rm gl}_N$ rational $R$-matrix. They have two parameters. The limit of the first one brings the model to the ordinary rational KZ equation. Another one is $τ$. At the level of classical mechanics the deformation parameter $τ$ allows to extend the previously obtained modified Gaudin models to the modified Schlesinger systems. Next, we notice that the identities underlying generic (elliptic) KZB equations follow from some additional relations for the properly normalized $R$-matrices. The relations are noncommutative analogues of identities for (scalar) elliptic functions. The simplest one is the unitarity condition. The quadratic (in $R$ matrices) relations are generated by noncommutative Fay identities. In particular, one can derive the quantum Yang-Baxter equations from the Fay identities. The cubic relations provide identities for the KZB equations as well as quadratic relations for the classical $r$-matrices which can be halves of the classical Yang-Baxter equation. At last we discuss the $R$-matrix valued linear problems which provide ${\rm gl}_{\tilde N}$ Calogero-Moser (CM) models and Painleve equations via the above mentioned identities. The role of the spectral parameter plays the Planck constant of the quantum $R$-matrix. When the quantum ${\rm gl}_N$ $R$-matrix is scalar ($N=1$) the linear problem reproduces the Krichever's ansatz for the Lax matrices with spectral parameter for the ${\rm gl}_{\tilde N}$ CM models. The linear problems for the quantum CM models generalize the KZ equations in the same way as the Lax pairs with spectral parameter generalize those without it.

Rational Top and its Classical R-matrix

We construct a rational integrable system (the rational top) on a coadjoint orbit of ${\rm SL}_N$ Lie group. It is described by the Lax operator with spectral parameter and classical non-dynamical skew-symmetric $r$-matrix. In the case of the orbit of minimal dimension the model is gauge equivalent to the rational Calogero-Moser (CM) system. To obtain the results we represent the Lax operator of the CM model in two different factorized forms -- without spectral parameter (related to spinless case) and another one with the spectral parameter. The latter gives rise to the rational top while the first one is related to generalized Cremmer-Gervais $r$-matrices. The gauge transformation relating the rational top and CM model provides a classical rational version of the IRF-Vertex correspondence. From a geometrical point of view it describes the modification of ${\rm SL}(N,\mathbb C)$-bundles over degenerated elliptic curve. In view of Symplectic Hecke Correspondence the rational top is related to the rational spin CM model. Possible applications and generalizations of the suggested construction are discussed. In particular, the obtained $r$-matrix defines a class of KZB equations.

preprint2014arXiv

Relativistic Classical Integrable Tops and Quantum R-matrices

We describe classical top-like integrable systems arising from the quantum exchange relations and corresponding Sklyanin algebras. The Lax operator is expressed in terms of the quantum non-dynamical $R$-matrix even at the classical level, where the Planck constant plays the role of the relativistic deformation parameter in the sense of Ruijsenaars and Schneider (RS). The integrable systems (relativistic tops) are described as multidimensional Euler tops, and the inertia tensors are written in terms of the quantum and classical $R$-matrices. A particular case of ${\rm gl}_N$ system is gauge equivalent to the $N$-particle RS model while a generic top is related to the spin generalization of the RS model. The simple relation between quantum $R$-matrices and classical Lax operators is exploited in two ways. In the elliptic case we use the Belavin's quantum $R$-matrix to describe the relativistic classical tops. Also by the passage to the noncommutative torus we study the large $N$ limit corresponding to the relativistic version of the nonlocal 2d elliptic hydrodynamics. Conversely, in the rational case we obtain a new ${\rm gl}_N$ quantum rational non-dynamical $R$-matrix via the relativistic top, which we get in a different way -- using the factorized form of the RS Lax operator and the classical Symplectic Hecke (gauge) transformation. In particular case of ${\rm gl}_2$ the quantum rational $R$-matrix is 11-vertex. It was previously found by Cherednik. At last, we describe the integrable spin chains and Gaudin models related to the obtained $R$-matrix.

Seiberg-Witten curves and double-elliptic integrable systems

An old conjecture claims that commuting Hamiltonians of the double-elliptic integrable system are constructed from the theta-functions associated with Riemann surfaces from the Seiberg-Witten family, with moduli treated as dynamical variables and the Seiberg-Witten differential providing the pre-symplectic structure. We describe a number of theta-constant equations needed to prove this conjecture for the $N$-particle system. These equations provide an alternative method to derive the Seiberg-Witten prepotential and we illustrate this by calculating the perturbative contribution. We provide evidence that the solutions to the commutativity equations are exhausted by the double-elliptic system and its degenerations (Calogero and Ruijsenaars systems). Further, the theta-function identities that lie behind the Poisson commutativity of the three-particle Hamiltonians are proven.

Spectral dualities in XXZ spin chains and five dimensional gauge theories

Motivated by recent progress in the study of supersymmetric gauge theories we propose a very compact formulation of spectral duality between XXZ spin chains. The action of the quantum duality is given by the Fourier transform in the spectral parameter. We investigate the duality in various limits and, in particular, prove it for q-->1, i.e. when it reduces to the XXX/Gaudin duality. We also show that the universal difference operators are given by the normal ordering of the classical spectral curves.

Spectrum of Quantum Transfer Matrices via Classical Many-Body Systems

In this paper we clarify the relationship between inhomogeneous quantum spin chains and classical integrable many-body systems. It provides an alternative (to the nested Bethe ansatz) method for computation of spectra of the spin chains. Namely, the spectrum of the quantum transfer matrix for the inhomogeneous ${\mathfrak g}{\mathfrak l}_n$-invariant XXX spin chain on $N$ sites with twisted boundary conditions can be found in terms of velocities of particles in the rational $N$-body Ruijsenaars-Schneider model. The possible values of the velocities are to be found from intersection points of two Lagrangian submanifolds in the phase space of the classical model. One of them is the Lagrangian hyperplane corresponding to fixed coordinates of all $N$ particles and the other one is an $N$-dimensional Lagrangian submanifold obtained by fixing levels of $N$ classical Hamiltonians in involution. The latter are determined by eigenvalues of the twist matrix. To support this picture, we give a direct proof that the eigenvalues of the Lax matrix for the classical Ruijsenaars-Schneider model, where velocities of particles are substituted by eigenvalues of the spin chain Hamiltonians, calculated through the Bethe equations, coincide with eigenvalues of the twist matrix, with certain multiplicities. We also prove a similar statement for the ${\mathfrak g}{\mathfrak l}_n$ Gaudin model with $N$ marked points (on the quantum side) and the Calogero-Moser system with $N$ particles (on the classical side). The realization of the results obtained in terms of branes and supersymmetric gauge theories is also discussed.

Three-particle Integrable Systems with Elliptic Dependence on Momenta and Theta Function Identities

We claim that some non-trivial theta-function identities at higher genus can stand behind the Poisson commutativity of the Hamiltonians of elliptic integrable systems, which are made from the theta-functions on Jacobians of the Seiberg-Witten curves. For the case of three-particle systems the genus-2 identities are found and presented in the paper. The connection with the Macdonald identities is established. The genus-2 theta-function identities provide the direct way to construct the Poisson structure in terms of the coordinates on the Jacobian of the spectral curve and the elements of its period matrix. The Lax representations for the two-particle systems are also obtained.

Characteristic Classes of SL(N)-Bundles and Quantum Dynamical Elliptic R-Matrices

We discuss quantum dynamical elliptic R-matrices related to arbitrary complex simple Lie group G. They generalize the known vertex and dynamical R-matrices and play an intermediate role between these two types. The R-matrices are defined by the corresponding characteristic classes describing the underlying vector bundles. The latter are related to elements of the center Z(G) of G. While the known dynamical R-matrices are related to the bundles with trivial characteristic classes, the Baxter-Belavin-Drinfeld-Sklyanin vertex R-matrix corresponds to the generator of the center Z_N of SL(N). We construct the R-matrices related to SL(N)- bundles with an arbitrary characteristic class explicitly and discuss the corresponding IRF models.

Classical-Quantum Correspondence and Functional Relations for Painleve Equations

In the light of the Quantum Painleve-Calogero Correspondence established in our previous papers [1,2], we investigate the inverse problem. We imply that this type of the correspondence (Classical-Quantum Correspondence) holds true and find out what kind of potentials arise from the compatibility conditions of the related linear problems. The latter conditions are written as functional equations for the potentials depending on a choice of a single function - the left-upper element of the Lax connection. The conditions of the Correspondence impose restrictions on this function. In particular, it satisfies the heat equation. It is shown that all natural choices of this function (rational, hyperbolic and elliptic) reproduce exactly the Painleve list of equations. In this sense the Classical-Quantum Correspondence can be regarded as an alternative definition of the Painleve equations.

Spectral Duality Between Heisenberg Chain and Gaudin Model

In our recent paper we described relationships between integrable systems inspired by the AGT conjecture. On the gauge theory side an integrable spin chain naturally emerges while on the conformal field theory side one obtains some special reduced Gaudin model. Two types of integrable systems were shown to be related by the spectral duality. In this paper we extend the spectral duality to the case of higher spin chains. It is proved that the N-site GL(k) Heisenberg chain is dual to the special reduced k+2-points gl(N) Gaudin model. Moreover, we construct an explicit Poisson map between the models at the classical level by performing the Dirac reduction procedure and applying the AHH duality transformation.

Spectral Duality in Integrable Systems from AGT Conjecture

We describe relationships between integrable systems with N degrees of freedom arising from the AGT conjecture. Namely, we prove the equivalence (spectral duality) between the N-cite Heisenberg spin chain and a reduced gl(N) Gaudin model both at classical and quantum level. The former one appears on the gauge theory side of the AGT relation in the Nekrasov-Shatashvili (and further the Seiberg-Witten) limit while the latter one is natural on the CFT side. At the classical level, the duality transformation relates the Seiberg-Witten differentials and spectral curves via a bispectral involution. The quantum duality extends this to the equivalence of the corresponding Baxter-Schrodinger equations (quantum spectral curves). This equivalence generalizes both the spectral self-duality between the 2x2 and NxN representations of the Toda chain and the famous AHH duality.

Quantum Painleve-Calogero Correspondence

The Painleve-Calogero correspondence is extended to auxiliary linear problems associated with Painleve equations. The linear problems are represented in a new form which has a suggestive interpretation as a "quantized" version of the Painleve-Calogero correspondence. Namely, the linear problem responsible for the time evolution is brought into the form of non-stationary Schrodinger equation in imaginary time, $\p_t ψ=(1/2\, \p_x^2 +V(x,t))ψ$, whose Hamiltonian is a natural quantization of the classical Calogero-like Hamiltonian $H=1/2\, p^2 +V(x,t)$ for the corresponding Painleve equation.

Characteristic Classes and Integrable Systems for Simple Lie Groups

This paper is a continuation of our previous paper \cite{LOSZ}. For simple complex Lie groups with non-trivial center, i.e. classical simply-connected groups, $E_6$ and $E_7$ we consider elliptic Modified Calogero-Moser systems corresponding to the Higgs bundles with an arbitrary characteristic class. These systems are generalization of the classical Calogero-Moser (CM) systems related to a simple Lie groups and contain CM systems related to some (unbroken) subalgebras. For all algebras we construct a special basis, corresponding to non-trivial characteristic classes, the explicit forms of Lax operators and Hamiltonians.

Characteristic Classes and Integrable Systems. General Construction

We consider topologically non-trivial Higgs bundles over elliptic curves with marked points and construct corresponding integrable systems. In the case of one marked point we call them the modified Calogero-Moser systems (MCM systems). Their phase space has the same dimension as the phase space of the standard CM systems with spin, but less number of particles and greater number of spin variables. Topology of the holomorphic bundles are defined by their characteristic classes. Such bundles occur if G has a non-trivial center, i.e. classical simply-connected groups, $E_6$ and $E_7$. We define the conformal version CG of G - an analog of GL(N) for SL(N), and relate the characteristic classes with degrees of CG-bundles. Starting with these bundles we construct Lax operators, quadratic Hamiltonians, define the phase spaces and the Poisson structure using dynamical r-matrices. To describe the systems we use a special basis in the Lie algebras that generalizes the basis of t'Hooft matrices for sl(N). We find that the MCM systems contain the standard CM systems related to some (unbroken) subalgebras. The configuration space of the CM particles is the moduli space of the holomorphic bundles with non-trivial characteristic classes.

Elliptic Schlesinger system and Painlev{é} VI

We construct an elliptic generalization of the Schlesinger system (ESS) with positions of marked points on an elliptic curve and its modular parameter as independent variables (the parameters in the moduli space of the complex structure). ESS is a non-autonomous Hamiltonian system with pair-wise commuting Hamiltonians. The system is bihamiltonian with respect to the linear and the quadratic Poisson brackets. The latter are the multi-color generalization of the Sklyanin-Feigin-Odeskii classical algebras. We give the Lax form of the ESS. The Lax matrix defines a connection of a flat bundle of degree one over the elliptic curve with first order poles at the marked points. The ESS is the monodromy independence condition on the complex structure for the linear systems related to the flat bundle. The case of four points for a special initial data is reduced to the Painlev{é} VI equation in the form of the Zhukovsky-Volterra gyrostat, proposed in our previous paper.
