Complete classification of algebras of level two

The main result of the paper is the classification of all (nonassociative) algebras of level two, i.e. such algebras that maximal chains of nontrivial degenerations starting at them have length two. During this classification we obtain an estimation of the level of an algebra via its generation type, i.e. the maximal dimension of its one generated subalgebra. Also we describe all degenerations and levels of algebras of the generation type $1$ with a square zero ideal of codimension $1$.

Degenerations of Filippov algebras

We consider the variety of Filippov ($n$-Lie) algebra structures on an $(n+1)$-dimensional vector space. The group $GL_n(K)$ acts on it, and we study the orbit closures with respect to the Zariski topology. This leads to the definition of Filippov algebra degenerations. We present some fundamental results on such degenerations, including trace invariants and necessary degeneration criteria. Finally, we classify all orbit closures in the variety of complex $(n+1)$-dimensional Filippov $n$-ary algebras.

The variety of $2$-dimensional algebras over an algebraically closed field

The work is devoted to the variety of $2$-dimensional algebras over an algebraically closed field. Firstly, we classify such algebras modulo isomorphism. Then we describe the degenerations and the closures of principal algebra series in the variety under consideration. Finally, we apply our results to obtain analogous descriptions for the subvarieties of flexible, and bicommutative algebras. In particular, we describe rigid algebras and irreducible components for these subvarieties.

Conservative algebras of $2$-dimensional algebras, II

In 1990 Kantor defined the conservative algebra $W(n)$ of all algebras (i.e. bilinear maps) on the $n$-dimensional vector space. If $n>1$, then the algebra $W(n)$ does not belong to any well-known class of algebras (such as associative, Lie, Jordan, or Leibniz algebras). We describe automorphisms, one-sided ideals, and idempotents of $W(2).$ Also similar problems are solved for the algebra $W_2$ of all commutative algebras on the 2-dimensional vector space and for the algebra $S_2$ of all commutative algebras with trace zero multiplication on the 2-dimensional vector space.

On standard derived equivalences of orbit categories

Let $\kk$ be a commutative ring, $\AAA$ and $\BB$ -- two $\kk$-linear categories with an action of a group $G$. We introduce the notion of a standard $G$-equivalence from $\Kb\BB$ to $\Kb\AAA$. We construct a map from the set of standard $G$-equivalences to the set of standard equivalences from $\Kb\BB$ to $\Kb\AAA$ and a map from the set of standard $G$-equivalences from $\Kb\BB$ to $\Kb\AAA$ to the set of standard equivalences from $\Kb(\BB/G)$ to $\Kb(\AAA/G)$. We investigate the properties of these maps and apply our results to the case where $\AAA=\BB=R$ is a Frobenius $\kk$-algebra and $G$ is the cyclic group generated by its Nakayama automorphism $ν$. We apply this technique to obtain the generating set of the derived Picard group of a Frobenius Nakayama algebra over an algebraically closed field.

BV-differential on Hochschild cohomology of Frobenius algebras

For a finite-dimensional Frobenius $k$-algebra $R$ with the Nakayama automorphism $ν$ we define an algebra ${\rm HH}^*(R)^{ν\uparrow}$. If the order of $ν$ is not divisible by the characteristic of $k$, this algebra is isomorphic to the Hochschild cohomology algebra of $R$.. We prove that this algebra is a BV-algebra. We use this fact to calculate the Gerstenhaber algebra structure and BV-structure on the Hochschild cohomology algebras of a family of self-injective algebras of tree type $D_n$.
