Conservative algebras of 22-dimensional algebras, V

The notion of conservative algebras appeared in a paper by Kantor in 1972. Later, he defined the conservative algebra W(n)W(n) of all algebras (i.e. bilinear maps) on the nn-dimensional vector space. If n>1n>1, then the algebra W(n)W(n) does not belong to any well-known class of algebras (such as associative, Lie, Jordan, or Leibniz algebras). It looks like W(n)W(n) in the theory of conservative algebras plays a similar role to the role of gln\mathfrak{gl}_n in the theory of Lie algebras. Namely, an arbitrary conservative algebra can be obtained from a universal algebra W(n)W(n) for some n∈N.n \in \mathbb{N}. The present paper is a part of a series of papers, which dedicated to the study of the algebra W(2)W(2) and its principal subalgebras.

Symmetric Zinbiel superalgebras

The notion of symmetric Zinbiel superalgebras is introduced. We prove that the nilpotency index of a symmetric Zinbiel superalgebra is not greater than 4 and describe two-generated symmetric Zinbiel algebras and odd generated superalgebras. We discuss identities of mono and binary symmetric Zinbiel and Leibniz algebras. It is proven that each quadratic Zinbiel algebra is 2-step nilpotent. Also, we study double extensions of symmetric Zinbiel algebras.

The algebraic and geometric classification of nilpotent weakly associative and symmetric Leibniz algebras

This paper is devoted to the complete algebraic and geometric classification of complex 44-dimensional nilpotent weakly associative, complex 44-dimensional symmetric Leibniz algebras, and complex 55-dimensional nilpotent symmetric Leibniz algebras. In particular, we proved that the variety of complex 44-dimensional symmetric Leibniz algebras has no Vergne--Grunewald--O'Halloran Property (there is an irreducible component formed by only nilpotent algebras), but on the other hand, it has Vergne Property (there are no rigid nilpotent algebras).

Commuting maps on alternative rings

Suppose R\mathfrak{R} is a 22,33-torsion free unital alternative ring having an idempotent element e1e_1 (e2=1−e1)\left(e_2 = 1-e_1\right) which satisfies xR⋅ei={0}→x=0x \mathfrak{R} \cdot e_i = \{0\} \rightarrow x = 0 (i=1,2)\left(i = 1,2\right). In this paper, we aim to characterize the commuting maps. Let φφ be a commuting map of R\mathfrak{R} so it is shown that φ(x)=zx+Ξ(x)φ(x) = zx + Ξ(x) for all x∈Rx \in \mathfrak{R}, where z∈Z(R)z \in \mathcal{Z}(\mathfrak{R}) and ΞΞ is an additive map from R\mathfrak{R} into Z(R)\mathcal{Z}(\mathfrak{R}). As a consequence a characterization of anti-commuting maps is obtained and we provide as an application, a characterization of commuting maps on von Neumann algebras relative alternative C∗C^{*}-algebra with no central summands of type I1I_1.

Identities of sum of two PI-algebras in the case of positive characteristic

We consider the following question posted by K.I. Beidar and A.V. Mikhalev in 1995 for an associative ring R=R1+R2R=R_1+R_2: is it true that if the subrings R1R_1 and R2R_2 satisfy polynomial identities, then RR also satisfies a polynomial identity? Over a field of positive characteristic we establish new conditions on R1R_1 and R2R_2 that guarantee a positive answer to the question. We find upper and low bounds on the degrees of identities of RR.

Jordan algebras admitting derivations with invertible values

The notion of derivation with invertible values as a derivation of ring with unity that only takes multiplicatively invertible or zero values appeared in a paper of Bergen, Herstein and Lanski, in which they determined the structure of associative rings that admit derivations with invertible values. Later, the results of this paper were generalized in many cases, for example, for generalized derivations, associative super-algebras, alternative algebras and many others. The present work is dedicated to description of all Jordan algebras admitting derivations with invertible values.

The algebraic and geometric classification of nilpotent anticommutative algebras

We give algebraic and geometric classifications of 66-dimensional complex nilpotent anticommutative algebras. Specifically, we find that, up to isomorphism, there are 1414 one-parameter families of 66-dimensional nilpotent anticommutative algebras, complemented by 130130 additional isomorphism classes. The corresponding geometric variety is irreducible and determined by the Zariski closure of a one-parameter family of algebras. In particular, there are no rigid 66-dimensional complex nilpotent anticommutative algebras.

The geometric classification of nilpotent CD\mathfrak{CD}-algebras

We give a geometric classification of complex 44-dimensional nilpotent CD\mathfrak{CD}-algebras. The corresponding geometric variety has dimension 18 and decomposes into 22 irreducible components determined by the Zariski closures of a two-parameter family of algebras and a four-parameter family of algebras (see Theorem 2). In particular, there are no rigid 44-dimensional complex nilpotent CD\mathfrak{CD}-algebras.

Complete classification of algebras of level two

The main result of the paper is the classification of all (nonassociative) algebras of level two, i.e. such algebras that maximal chains of nontrivial degenerations starting at them have length two. During this classification we obtain an estimation of the level of an algebra via its generation type, i.e. the maximal dimension of its one generated subalgebra. Also we describe all degenerations and levels of algebras of the generation type 11 with a square zero ideal of codimension 11.

Degenerations of Filippov algebras

We consider the variety of Filippov (nn-Lie) algebra structures on an (n+1)(n+1)-dimensional vector space. The group GLn(K)GL_n(K) acts on it, and we study the orbit closures with respect to the Zariski topology. This leads to the definition of Filippov algebra degenerations. We present some fundamental results on such degenerations, including trace invariants and necessary degeneration criteria. Finally, we classify all orbit closures in the variety of complex (n+1)(n+1)-dimensional Filippov nn-ary algebras.

The algebraic and geometric classification of nilpotent binary Lie algebras

The paper is devoted to give the complete algebraic classification of nilpotent binary Lie algebras of dimension ≤6\leq 6 over an arbitrary base field F{\mathbb{F}} of characteristic not 22 and the complete geometric classification of nilpotent binary Lie algebras of dimension 66 over C.\mathbb C. As an application, we have the algebraic and geometric classification of nilpotent anticommutative CD\mathfrak{CD}-algebras of dimension ≤6.\leq 6.

The algebraic and geometric classification of nilpotent noncommutative Jordan algebras

We give algebraic and geometric classifications of complex 44-dimensional nilpotent noncommutative Jordan algebras. Specifically, we find that, up to isomorphism, there are only 1818 non-isomorphic nontrivial nilpotent noncommutative Jordan algebras. The corresponding geometric variety is determined by the Zariski closure of 33 rigid algebras and 22 one-parametric families of algebras.

The variety of 22-dimensional algebras over an algebraically closed field

The work is devoted to the variety of 22-dimensional algebras over an algebraically closed field. Firstly, we classify such algebras modulo isomorphism. Then we describe the degenerations and the closures of principal algebra series in the variety under consideration. Finally, we apply our results to obtain analogous descriptions for the subvarieties of flexible, and bicommutative algebras. In particular, we describe rigid algebras and irreducible components for these subvarieties.

nn-Ary generalized Lie-type color algebras admitting a quasi-multiplicative basis

The class of generalized Lie-type color algebras contains the ones of generalized Lie-type algebras, of nn-Lie algebras and superalgebras, commutative Leibniz nn-ary algebras and superalgebras, among others. We focus on the class of generalized Lie-type color algebras L\frak L admitting a quasi-multiplicative basis, with restrictions neither on the dimensions nor on the base field F\mathbb F and study its structure. If we write L=V⊕W\frak L = \mathbb V \oplus \mathbb W with V\mathbb V and 0≠W0 \neq \mathbb W linear subspaces, we say that a basis of homogeneous elements B={ei}i∈I\mathfrak{B} = \{e_i\}_{i \in I} of W\mathbb W is quasi-multiplicative if given 0<k<n,0 < k < n, for i1,…,ik∈Ii_1,\dots,i_k \in I and σ∈Snσ\in \mathbb S_n satisfies ⟨ei1,…,eik,V,…,V⟩σ⊂Fejσ\langle e_{i_1}, \dots, e_{i_k}, \mathbb V, \dots, \mathbb V \rangle_σ \subset \mathbb{F}e_{j_σ} for some jσ∈I;j_σ \in I; the product of elements of the basis ⟨ei1,…,ein⟩\langle e_{i_1}, \dots, e_{i_n} \rangle belongs to Fej\mathbb{F}e_j for some j∈Ij \in I or to V\mathbb V, and a similar condition is verified for the product ⟨V,…,V⟩\langle \mathbb V, \dots,\mathbb V \rangle. We state that if L\frak L admits a quasi-multiplicative basis then it decomposes as L=U⊕(∑Jk)\mathfrak{L} ={\mathcal U} \oplus (\sum\limits {\frak J}_{k}) with any Jk{\frak J}_k a well described color gLt-ideal of L\frak L admitting also a quasi-multiplicative basis, and U{\mathcal U} a linear subspace of V\mathbb V. Also the minimality of L\frak L is characterized in terms of the connections and it is shown that the above direct sum is by means of the family of its minimal color gLt-ideals, admitting each one a μμ-quasi-multiplicative basis inherited by the one of L\frak L.

Classification of bilinear maps with radical of codimension 2

Let V{\mathbb V} be an nn-dimensional linear space over an algebraically closed base field. We provide a classification, up to equivalence, of all of the bilinear maps f:V×V→Vf:{\mathbb V} \times {\mathbb V} \to {\mathbb V} such that dim(rad(f))=n−2dim(rad(f)) =n-2. This is equivalent to give a complete classification (up to isomorphism) of all nn-dimensional algebras with annihilator of dimension n−2n-2 or, in other words, a classification of the annihilator extensions of all 22-dimensional algebras.

Decompositions of linear spaces induced by nn-linear maps

Let V\mathbb V be an arbitrary linear space and f:V×…×V→Vf:\mathbb V \times \ldots \times \mathbb V \to \mathbb V an nn-linear map. It is proved that, for each choice of a basis B{\mathcal B} of V\mathbb V, the nn-linear map ff induces a (nontrivial) decomposition V=⊕Vj\mathbb V= \oplus V_j as a direct sum of linear subspaces of V\mathbb V, with respect to B{\mathcal B}. It is shown that this decomposition is ff-orthogonal in the sense that f(V,…,Vj,…,Vk,…,V)=0f(\mathbb V, \ldots, V_j, \ldots, V_k, \ldots, \mathbb V) =0 when j≠kj \neq k, and in such a way that any VjV_j is strongly ff-invariant, meaning that f(V,…,Vj,…,V)⊂Vj.f(\mathbb V, \ldots, V_j, \ldots, \mathbb V) \subset V_j. A sufficient condition for two different decompositions of V\mathbb V induced by an nn-linear map ff, with respect to two different bases of V\mathbb V, being isomorphic is deduced. The ff-simplicity -- an analogue of the usual simplicity in the framework of nn-liner maps -- of any linear subspace VjV_j of a certain decomposition induced by ff is characterized. Finally, an application to the structure theory of arbitrary nn-ary algebras is provided. This work is a close generalization the results obtained by A. J. Calderón (2018).

Split Regular HomHom-Leibniz Color 33-Algebras

We introduce and describe the class of split regular HomHom-Leibniz color 33-algebras as the natural extension of the class of split Lie algebras, split Leibniz algebras, split Lie 33-algebras, split Lie triple systems, split Leibniz 33-algebras, and some other algebras. More precisely, we show that any of such split regular HomHom-Leibniz color 33-algebras TT is of the form T=U+∑jIj{T}={\mathcal U} +\sum\limits_{j}I_{j}, with U\mathcal U a subspace of the 00-root space T0{T}_0, and IjI_{j} an ideal of TT satisfying {for} j≠k:j\neq k: [T,Ij,Ik]+[Ij,T,Ik]+[Ij,Ik,T]=0.[{ T},I_j,I_k]+[I_j,{ T},I_k]+[I_j,I_k,T]=0. Moreover, if TT is of maximal length, we characterize the simplicity of TT in terms of a connectivity property in its set of non-zero roots.

kk-Modules over linear spaces by nn-linear maps admitting a multiplicative basis

We study the structure of certain kk-modules V\mathbb{V} over linear spaces W\mathbb{W} with restrictions neither on the dimensions of V\mathbb{V} and W\mathbb{W} nor on the base field F\mathbb F. A basis B={vi}i∈I\mathfrak B = \{v_i\}_{i\in I} of V\mathbb{V} is called multiplicative with respect to the basis B′={wj}j∈J\mathfrak B' = \{w_j\}_{j \in J} of W\mathbb{W} if for any σ∈Sn,σ\in S_n, i1,…,ik∈Ii_1,\dots,i_k \in I and jk+1,…,jn∈Jj_{k+1},\dots, j_n \in J we have [vi1,…,vik,wjk+1,…,wjn]σ∈Fvrσ[v_{i_1},\dots, v_{i_k}, w_{j_{k+1}}, \dots, w_{j_n}]_σ \in \mathbb{F}v_{r_σ} for some rσ∈Ir_σ \in I. We show that if V\mathbb{V} admits a multiplicative basis then it decomposes as the direct sum V=⨁αVα\mathbb{V} = \bigoplus_α V_α of well described kk-submodules VαV_α each one admitting a multiplicative basis. Also the minimality of V\mathbb{V} is characterized in terms of the multiplicative basis and it is shown that the above direct sum is by means of the family of its minimal kk-submodules, admitting each one a multiplicative basis. Finally we study an application of kk-modules with a multiplicative basis over an arbitrary nn-ary algebra with multiplicative basis.

On a ternary generalization of Jordan algebras

Based on the relation between the notions of Lie triple systems and Jordan algebras, we introduce the nn-ary Jordan algebras,an nn-ary generalization of Jordan algebras obtained via the generalization of the following property [Rx,Ry]∈Der(A)\left[ R_{x},R_{y}\right] \in Der\left( \mathcal{A}\right), where A\mathcal{A} is an nn-ary algebra. Next, we study a ternary example of these algebras. Finally, based on the construction of a family of ternary algebras defined by means of the Cayley-Dickson algebras, we present an example of a ternary Dx,yD_{x,y}-derivation algebra (nn-ary Dx,yD_{x,y}-derivation algebras are the non-commutative version of nn-ary Jordan algebras).

A characterization of nilpotent nonassociative algebras by invertible Leibniz-derivations

Moens proved that a finite-dimensional Lie algebra over field of characteristic zero is nilpotent if and only if it has an invertible Leibniz-derivation. In this article we prove the analogous results for finite-dimensional Malcev, Jordan, (-1,1)-, quasiassociative, quasialternative, right alternative and Malcev-admissible noncommutative Jordan algebras over the field of characteristic zero. Also, we describe all Leibniz-derivations of semisimple Jordan, right alternative and Malcev algebras.

Generalized derivations of multiplicative nn-ary Hom-ΩΩ color algebras

We generalize the results of Leger and Luks, Zhang R. and Zhang Y.; Chen, Ma, Ni, Niu, Zhou and Fan; Kaygorodov and Popov about generalized derivations of color nn-ary algebras to the case of nn-ary Hom-ΩΩ color algebras. Particularly, we prove some properties of generalized derivations of multiplicative nn-ary Hom-ΩΩ color algebras. Moreover, we prove that the quasiderivation algebra of any multiplicative nn-ary Hom-ΩΩ color algebra can be embedded into the derivation algebra of a larger multiplicative n-ary Hom-ΩΩ color algebra.

Conservative algebras of 22-dimensional algebras, II

In 1990 Kantor defined the conservative algebra W(n)W(n) of all algebras (i.e. bilinear maps) on the nn-dimensional vector space. If n>1n>1, then the algebra W(n)W(n) does not belong to any well-known class of algebras (such as associative, Lie, Jordan, or Leibniz algebras). We describe automorphisms, one-sided ideals, and idempotents of W(2).W(2). Also similar problems are solved for the algebra W2W_2 of all commutative algebras on the 2-dimensional vector space and for the algebra S2S_2 of all commutative algebras with trace zero multiplication on the 2-dimensional vector space.

Particularly, we prove some properties of generalized derivations of color nn-ary algebras; prove that a quasiderivation algebra of a color nn-ary ΩΩ-algebra can be embedded into the derivation algebra of a larger color nn-ary ΩΩ-algebra, and describe (anti)commutative nn-ary algebras satisfying the condition QDer=End.QDer = End.

δδ-superderivations of KKM Double

We described δδ-derivations and δδ-superderivations of simple Jordan superalgebra <<KKM Double>> (also known as superalgebra of Jordan brackets) and unital simple finite-dimensional Jordan superalgebras over algebraic closed fields with characteristic p≠2p\neq2. As a consequence, we received relationship between non-trivial δδ-derivations and specialty of simple superalgebra <<KKM Double>>. We constructed new examples of non-trivial 1/2-derivations of Jordan superalgebras of vector type.

Generalized δ-Derivations

We defined generalized δ-derivations of algebra A as linear mapping χassociated with usual δ-derivation ϕby the rule χ(xy)=δ(χ(x)y+xϕ(y))=δ(ϕ(x)y+xχ(y)) for any x,y \in A. We described generalized δ-derivations of prime alternative algebras, prime Lie algebras and superalgebras, unital algebras, and semisimple finite-dimensional Jordan superalgebras. In this cases we proved that generalized δ-derivation is a generalized derivation or δ-derivation. After that we described δ-superderivations of superalgebras <<KKM Double>>, arising from prime alternative algebras, prime Lie algebras and superalgebras, unital algebras, and semisimple finite-dimensional Jordan superalgebras. In the end, we constructed new examples of non-trivial δ-derivations of Lie algebras.

δδ-derivations of simple Jordan algebras and superalgebras

We describe non-trivial δδ-derivations of semisimple finite-dimensional Jordan algebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic not 2, and of simple finite-dimensional Jordan superalgebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0. For these classes of algebras and superalgebras, non-zero δδ-derivations are shown to be missing for δ≠0,12,1δ\neq 0,{1}{2},1, and we give a complete account of 12{1}{2}-derivations.

δδ-superderivations of simple finite-dimensional Jordan and Lie superalgebras

We introduce the concept of a δδ-superderivation of a superalgebra. δδ-Derivations of Cartan-type Lie superalgebras are treated, as well as δδ-superderivations of simple finite-dimensional Lie superalgebras and Jordan superalgebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0. We give a complete description of $\{1}{2}$-derivations for Cartan-type Lie superalgebras. It is proved that nontrivial δδ-(super)derivations are missing on the given classes of superalgebras, and as a consequence, δδ-superderivations are shown to be trivial on simple finite-dimensional noncommutative Jordan superalgebras of degree at least 2 over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0. Also we consider δδ-derivations of unital flexible and semisimple finite-dimensional Jordan algebras over a field of characteristic not 2.
