W-exchange contribution to the decays $Ξ_{cc}^{++}\toΞ_{c}^{+(\prime)}π^{+}$ using light-cone sum rules

We calculate the W-exchange contribution to the $Ξ_{cc}^{++}\toΞ_{c}^{+(\prime)}π^{+}$ decay using light-cone sum rules. The two-particle light-cone distribution amplitudes of the pion are used as non-perturbative input for the sum rules calculation, and the perturbative kernel is calculated at the leading order. We obtain the corresponding decay branching fractions by combining our W-exchange amplitudes with the factorizable amplitudes given by various theoretical methods from the literature. It is shown that with the factorizable amplitudes from heavy quark effective theory, we obtain the branching fraction ratio ${\cal B}(Ξ_{cc}^{++}\toΞ_{c}^{+\prime}π^{+})/{\cal B}(Ξ_{cc}^{++}\toΞ_{c}^{+}π^{+})= 1.42\pm 0.78$, which is consistent with the experimental value of $1.41\pm 0.17\pm 0.1$.

Weak decays of doubly heavy baryons: four-body nonleptonic decay channels

The LHCb Collaboration announced the observation of doubly charmed baryon through $Ξ_{c c}^{++} \rightarrow Λ_{c}^{+} K^{-} π^{+} π^{+}$ in 2017. Since then, a series of studies of doubly heavy baryons have been presented. $Ξ_{cc}^{++}$ was discovered through nonleptonic four-body decay mode, and experimental data has indicated that the decay modes of $Ξ_{c c}^{++}$ are not saturated by two and three-body intermediate states. In this work, we analyze the four-body weak decays of doubly heavy baryons $Ξ_{cc}^{++}, Ξ_{cc}^+$, and $Ω_{cc}^+$. Decay amplitudes for various channels are parametrized in terms of SU(3) irreducible amplitudes. We point out that branching fractions for Cabibbo-allowed processes $Ξ_{cc}^{+}\toΛ_c^+π^+ π^0 K^-$, $Ω_{cc}^{+}\toΛ_c^+π^+ \overline K^0 K^-$ would be helpful to search for $Ξ_{cc}^+$ and $Ω_{cc}^+$ in future measurements at experimental facilities like LHC, Belle II, and CEPC.

Weak Decays of Triply Heavy Tetraquarks ${b\bar c}{b\bar q}$

We study lifetimes and weak decays of the triply heavy tetraquarks ${b\bar c}{b\bar q}$. Following the heavy quark expanding(HQE), the lifetimes of tetraquarks ${b\bar c}{b\bar q}$ can be expressed as the summation of different dimension operators. Particularly, we obtain the lifetimes of ${b\bar c}{b\bar q}$ at the next-to-leading order(NLO) given as $τ(T^{\{bb\}}_{\{\bar c\bar q\}})=0.70\times 10^{-12}s$. Besides, we construct the weak decays Hamiltonian of ${b\bar c}{b\bar q}$ in hadronic level under the SU(3) flavor symmetry. The discussion of the Hamiltonian can deduce the decay amplitudes and width relations of the tetraquarks. Following the choosing rules, we collect some golden channels for the mesonic decays of tetraquarks, which will be helpful to search for triply heavy tetraquarks ${b\bar c}{b\bar q}$ in future experiments.

Study of $B \to K_0^*(1430)K^{(*)}$ decays in QCD Factorization Approach

Within the QCD factorization approach, we calculate the branching fractions and $CP$ asymmetry parameters of 12 $B \to K_0^*(1430)K^{(*)}$ decay modes under the assumption that the scalar meson $K_0^*(1430)$ is the first excited state or the lowest lying ground state in the quark model. We find that the decay modes with the scalar meson emitted, have large branching fractions due to the enhancement of large chiral factor $r_χ^{K_0^*}$. The branching fractions of decays with the vector meson emitted, become much smaller owing to the smaller factor $r_χ^{K^*}$. Moreover, the annihilation type diagram will induce large uncertainties because of the extra free parameter dealing with the endpoint singularity. For the pure annihilation type decays, our predictions are smaller than that from PQCD approach by 2-3 orders of magnitudes. These results will be tested by the ongoing LHCb experiment, forthcoming Belle-II experiment and the proposing circular electron-positron collider.
