Diffusion Approximation for Multi-Scale McKean-Vlasov SDEs Through Different Methods

In this paper, we aim to study the diffusion approximation for multi-scale McKean-Vlasov stochastic differential equations. More precisely, we prove the weak convergence of slow process $X^\varepsilon$ in $C([0,T];\mathbb{R}^n)$ towards the limiting process $X$ that is the solution of a distribution dependent stochastic differential equation in which some new drift and diffusion terms compared to the original equation appear. The main contribution is to use two different methods to explicitly characterize the limiting equations respectively. The obtained diffusion coefficients in the limiting equations have different form through these two methods, however it will be asserted that they are essential the same by a comparison.

Optimal convergence order for multi-scale stochastic Burgers equation

In this paper, we study the strong and weak convergence rates for multi-scale one-dimensional stochastic Burgers equation. Based on the techniques of Galerkin approximation, Kolmogorov equation and Poisson equation, we obtain the slow component strongly and weakly converges to the solution of the corresponding averaged equation with optimal orders 1/2 and 1 respectively. The highly nonlinear term in system brings us huge difficulties, we develop new technique to overcome these difficulties. To the best of our knowledge, this work seems to be the first result in which the optimal convergence orders in strong and weak sense for multi-scale stochastic partial differential equations with highly nonlinear term.

Averaging principle for slow-fast stochastic differential equations with time dependent locally Lipschitz coefficients

This paper is devoted to studying the averaging principle for stochastic differential equations with slow and fast time-scales, where the drift coefficients satisfy local Lipschitz conditions with respect to the slow and fast variables, and the coefficients in the slow equation depend on time $t$ and $ω$. Making use of the techniques of time discretization and truncation, we prove that the slow component strongly converges to the solution of the corresponding averaged equation.

Gaussian estimates of the density for systems of non-linear stochastic heat equations

In this paper we consider a system of non-linear stochastic heat equations on $\mathbb{R}^d$ driven by a Gaussian noise which is white in time and has a homogeneous spatial covariance. Under some suitable regularity and non degeneracy conditions, the smoothness of the joint density of the solution for this system has been studied by E. Nualart in [11]. The purpose of this paper is further to study the lower and upper bounds of the density. The main tools are the Malliavin calculus and the method developed by Kohatasu-Higa in [6] or E. Nualart and Quer-Sardanyons in [12].

Smoothness of the joint density for spatially homogeneous SPDEs

In this paper we consider a general class of second order stochastic partial differential equations on $\mathbb{R}^d$ driven by a Gaussian noise which is white in time and it has a homogeneous spatial covariance. Using the techniques of Malliavin calculus we derive the smoothness of the density of the solution at a fixed number of points $(t,x_1), \dots, (t,x_n)$, $t>0$, assuming some suitable regularity and non degeneracy assumptions. We also prove that the density is strictly positive in the interior of the support of the law.
