Form factors and decay rate of Bc∗→Ds l+l−B_c^\ast \rightarrow D_{s}~l^+ l^- decays in the QCD sum rules

Rare exclusive Bc∗→Ds l+l−B_c^\ast \rightarrow D_{s}~l^+ l^- decays are analyzed in the framework of the three--point QCD sum rules approach. The two gluon condensate corrections to the correlation function are included and the form factors of this transition are evaluated. Using the form factors, the decay width and integrated decay rate for these decays are also calculated.

Investigation of the rare exculsive Bc∗→Ds ννˉB_c^\ast \rightarrow D_{s}~ν\barν decays in the faramework of the QCD sum rules

Exclusive Bc∗→Ds ννˉB_c^\ast \rightarrow D_{s}~ν\barν decay is studied in the framework of the three--point QCD sum rules approach. The two gluon condensate contributions to the correlation function are calculated and the form factors of this transition are found. The decay width and total branching ratio for this decay is also calculated.

Strong coupling constant of hb_{b} vector to the pseudoscalar and vector BcB_{c} mesons in QCD sum rules

The strong coupling constant ghbBcPSBcV_{h_{b}B_{c}^{PS}B_{c}^{V}} is calculated using the three-point QCD sum rules method. We use correlation functions to obtain these strong coupling constants with contributions of both BcPS_{c}^{PS} and BcV_{c}^{V}mesons as off-shell states. The contributions of two gluon condensates as a radiative correction are considered. The results show that ghbBcPSBcV=8.80±2.84GeV−1_{h_{b}B_{c}^{PS}B_{c}^{V}}=8.80\pm 2.84 GeV^{-1}and ghbBcVBcPS=9.34±3.12GeV−1_{h_{b}B_{c}^{V} B_{c}^{PS}}=9.34\pm 3.12 GeV^{-1} in the BcPSB_{c}^{PS} and BcVB_{c}^{V} off-shell state, respectively.

Strong coupling constant of vector bottomonium to the pseudoscalar and vector BcB_c mesons via QCD sum rules

The strong coupling constant gΥBcpsBcVg_{ΥB_c^{ps} B_c^V} is evaluated using the three-point QCD sum rules. The correlation functions used to calculate these strong coupling constants contain contributions of both BcVB_c^V and BcpsB_c^{ps} mesons as off-shell states with contributions of two gluon condensates as a radiative corrections. The results, gΥBcVBcPS=1.67±0.52GeV−1g_{ΥB_c^V B_c^{PS}}=1.67\pm 0.52 GeV^{-1} for BcPsB_c^{Ps} off-shell and gΥBcPSBcV=(0.87±0.25)GeV−1g_{ΥB_c^{PS}B_c^V}=(0.87\pm0.25) GeV^{-1} for BcVB_c^V off-shell are obtained for the relevant strong coupling constants

Study of χc0(1P)−−>J/ψγχ_{c0}(1P) --> J/ψγ and χb0(1P)−−>Υ(1S)γχ_{b0}(1P) --> Υ(1S) γ decays via QCD sum rules

In this study we present the first theoretical calculation of the form factor of the $χ_{c0}(1P) \rar J/ψγ$ and χb0(1P)→Υ(1S)γχ_{b0}(1P) \rightarrow Υ(1S) γ decays in the frame work of QCD sum rules. We also find branching ratio Br(χc0(1P)→J/ψγ)=(1.07×±0.14)×10(−2){\cal B}_r(χ_{c0}(1P) \rightarrow J/ψγ)=(1.07\times \pm 0.14) \times 10^{(-2)} which is in agreement with the experimental data. Furthermore, we estimate the Γtot(χb0(1P))=5.5±0.5Γ_{tot}(χ_{b0}(1P)) =5.5\pm 0.5 MeV, where experimental bound for full width of χb0χ_{b0} is Γtot(χb0(1P))<6Γ_{tot}(χ_{b0}(1P)) <6 MeV.

A comparative study on $B \rar K^\ast \ell^+ \ell^-$ and $B \rar K_0^\ast (1430) \ell^+ \ell^-$ decays in the Supersymmetric Models

In this paper, we compare the branching ratio and rate difference of electron channel to muon channel of $B \rar K_0^\ast (1430) \ell^+ \ell^-$ and $B \rar K^\ast \ell^+ \ell^-$decays, where K0∗(1430)K_0^\ast (1430) is the p--wave scalar meson, in the supersymmetric models. MSSM with RR parity is considered since considerable deviation from the standard model predictions can be obtained in B→Xsℓ−ℓ+B\rightarrow X_s \ell^-\ell^+. Taking CQ1C_{Q1} and CQ2C_{Q2} about one which is consistent with the B→K∗μ+μ−B\to K^\astμ^+μ^- rate at low dileptonic invariant mass region(1≤q2≤61\leq q^2\leq 6GeV2^2). It is found that, firstly, the $B \rar K_0^\ast (1430) \ell^+ \ell^-$ (ℓ=μ, τ)(\ell = μ,\, τ) decay is measurable at LHC, secondly, in comparison with $B \rar K^\ast \ell^+ \ell^-$ decay a greater deviation in the $B \rar K_0^\ast (1430) \ell^+ \ell^-$ decay can be seen. Measurement of these observables for the semileptonic rare $B \rar K_0^\ast (1430) \ell^+ \ell^-$, in particular, at low q2q^2 region can give valuable information about the nature of interactions within Standard Model or beyond.

Masses and decay constants of bound states containing fourth family quarks from QCD sum rules

The heavy fourth generation of quarks that have sufficiently small mixing with the three known SM families form hadrons. In the present work, we calculate the masses and decay constants of mesons containing either both quarks from the fourth generation or one from fourth family and the other from known third family SM quarks in the framework of the QCD sum rules. In the calculations, we take into account two gluon condensate diagrams as nonperturbative contributions. The obtained results reduce to the known masses and decay constants of the bˉb\bar b b and cˉc\bar c c quarkonia when the fourth family quark is replaced by the bottom or charm quark.

On the mass and the decay constant of recently observed bound state hb(1P)h_b(1P)

The mass and decay constant of the ground state of spin singlet bbˉb \bar{b} is calculated by using the QCD sum rules method. This meson is an axial vector PP-wave named hb(1P)h_b(1P) meson with JP=1+J^P =1^+. It is found that the mass of this meson is (m=9940±37)(m=9940\pm 37) MeV, which is consistent with the recent experimental data by Belle collaboration.

Systematic analysis of the Bs→f0ℓ+ℓ− B_s\rightarrow f_0 \ell^+\ell^- in the universal extra dimension

Using form factors enrolled to the transition matrix elements and calculated via light-cone QCD sum rules including next-to-leading order corrections in the strong coupling constant, we provide a systematic analysis of the Bs→f0(980)ℓ+ℓ− B_s\rightarrow f_0 (980)\ell^+\ell^- both in the standard and universal extra dimension models. In particular, we discuss sensitivity of the differential branching ratio and various double lepton polarization asymmetries on the compactification factor of extra dimension and show how the results of the extra dimension model deviate from the standard model predictions. The order of branching ratio makes this decay mode possible to be checked at LHCb in near future.

Forward-backward Asymmetry and Branching Ratio of $B \rar K_1 \ell^+ \ell^-$ Transition in Supersymmetric Models

The mass eigen states K1(1270)K_1(1270) and K1(1400)K_1(1400) are mixture of the strange members of two axial-vector SU(3) octet, 3P1(K1A)^3P_1(K_1^A) and 1P1(K1B)^1P_1(K_1^B). Taking into account this mixture, the forward-backward asymmetry and branching ratio of $B \rar K_1(1270,1400) \ell^+ \ell^-$ transitions are studied in the framework of different supersymmetric models. It is found that the results have considerable deviation from the standard model predictions. Any measurement of these physical observables and their comparison with the results obtained in this paper can give useful information about the nature of interactions beyond the standard model.

Double Lepton Polarization Forward--Backward Asymmetries in B \rar K^\ast \ell^+ \ell^- Decay in the SM4

This study examines the influence of the fourth generation quarks on the double lepton polarizations forward--backward asymmetries in B \rar K^\ast \ell^+ \ell^- decay. We obtain that for both (muon, tau) channels the magnitude and the sign of the differential forward--backward asymmetries and the magnitude of the average forward--backward asymmetries are quite sensitive to the 4th generation quarks mass and mixing parameters. It can serve as a good tool to search for new physics effects, precisely, to search for the fourth generation quarks(t', b') via its indirect manifestations in the loop diagrams.

The Effects of Fourth Generation on the Total Branching Ratio and the Lepton Polarization in $Λ_b \rar Λ\ell^+ \ell^-$ decay

This study investigates the influence of the fourth generation quarks on the total branching ratio and the single lepton polarizations in Λ_b --> Λ\ell^+ \ell^- decay. Taking ∣Vt′sVt′b∣0.01−0.03withphasejustbelow|V_{t's}V_{t'b}| {0.01-0.03} with phase just below 90^\circ$, which is consistent with the b\to s\ell^+\ell^- rate and the B_s mixing parameter Δm_{B_s}, we obtain that the total branching ratio and the single lepton(μ, τ) polarizations are quite sensitive to the existence of fourth generation. It can serve as a good tool to search for new physics effects, precisely, to search for the fourth generation quarks(t', b').

Exclusive (B -> rho l^+ l^-) decay and Polarized lepton pair forward--backward asymmetries

The polarized lepton pair forward-backward asymmetries in (B -> rho l^+ l^-) decay using a general, model independent form of the effective Hamiltonian is studied. The general expression for nine double-polarization forward-backward asymmetries are calculated. The study of the forward-backward asymmetries of the doubly-polarized lepton pair proves to be very useful tool in looking for new physics beyond the standard model.
