Exploiting a Fleet of UAVs for Monitoring and Data Acquisition of a Distributed Sensor Network

This study proposes an efficient data collection strategy exploiting a team of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to monitor and collect the data of a large distributed sensor network usually used for environmental monitoring, meteorology, agriculture, and renewable energy applications. The study develops a collaborative mission planning system that enables a team of UAVs to conduct and complete the mission of sensors' data collection collaboratively while considering existing constraints of the UAV payload and battery capacity. The proposed mission planner system employs the Differential Evolution (DE) optimization algorithm enabling UAVs to maximize the number of visited sensor nodes given the priority of the sensors and avoiding the redundant collection of sensors' data. The proposed mission planner is evaluated through extensive simulation and comparative analysis. The simulation results confirm the effectiveness and fidelity of the proposed mission planner to be used for the distributed sensor network monitoring and data collection.

Strong coupling constant of hb_{b} vector to the pseudoscalar and vector BcB_{c} mesons in QCD sum rules

The strong coupling constant ghbBcPSBcV_{h_{b}B_{c}^{PS}B_{c}^{V}} is calculated using the three-point QCD sum rules method. We use correlation functions to obtain these strong coupling constants with contributions of both BcPS_{c}^{PS} and BcV_{c}^{V}mesons as off-shell states. The contributions of two gluon condensates as a radiative correction are considered. The results show that ghbBcPSBcV=8.80±2.84GeV−1_{h_{b}B_{c}^{PS}B_{c}^{V}}=8.80\pm 2.84 GeV^{-1}and ghbBcVBcPS=9.34±3.12GeV−1_{h_{b}B_{c}^{V} B_{c}^{PS}}=9.34\pm 3.12 GeV^{-1} in the BcPSB_{c}^{PS} and BcVB_{c}^{V} off-shell state, respectively.

Strong coupling constant of vector bottomonium to the pseudoscalar and vector BcB_c mesons via QCD sum rules

The strong coupling constant gΥBcpsBcVg_{ΥB_c^{ps} B_c^V} is evaluated using the three-point QCD sum rules. The correlation functions used to calculate these strong coupling constants contain contributions of both BcVB_c^V and BcpsB_c^{ps} mesons as off-shell states with contributions of two gluon condensates as a radiative corrections. The results, gΥBcVBcPS=1.67±0.52GeV−1g_{ΥB_c^V B_c^{PS}}=1.67\pm 0.52 GeV^{-1} for BcPsB_c^{Ps} off-shell and gΥBcPSBcV=(0.87±0.25)GeV−1g_{ΥB_c^{PS}B_c^V}=(0.87\pm0.25) GeV^{-1} for BcVB_c^V off-shell are obtained for the relevant strong coupling constants
