Periodic Solutions of Generalized Schrödinger Equations on Cayley Trees

In this paper we define a discrete generalized Laplacian with arbitrary real power on a Cayley tree. This Laplacian is used to define a discrete generalized Schrödinger operator on the tree. The case discrete fractional Schrödinger operators with index 0<α<20 < α< 2 is considered in detail, and periodic solutions of the corresponding fractional Schrödinger equations are described. This periodicity depends on a subgroup of a group representation of the Cayley tree. For any subgroup of finite index we give a criterion for eigenvalues of the Schrödinger operator under which periodic solutions exist. For a normal subgroup of infinite index we describe a wide class of periodic solutions.

On Gibbs Measures of PP-Adic Potts Model on the Cayley Tree

We consider a nearest-neighbor pp-adic Potts (with q≥2q\geq 2 spin values and coupling constant $J\in \Q_p$) model on the Cayley tree of order k≥1k\geq 1. It is proved that a phase transition occurs at k=2k=2, q∈pNq\in p\mathbb{N} and p≥3p\geq 3 (resp. q∈22Nq\in 2^2\mathbb{N}, p=2p=2). It is established that for pp-adic Potts model at k≥3k\geq 3 a phase transition may occur only at q∈pNq\in p\mathbb{N} if p≥3p\geq 3 and q∈22Nq\in 2^2\mathbb{N} if p=2p=2.

On Inhomogeneous pp-Adic Potts Model on a Cayley Tree

We consider a nearest-neighbor inhomogeneous pp-adic Potts (with q≥2q\geq 2 spin values) model on the Cayley tree of order k≥1k\geq 1. The inhomogeneity means that the interaction JxyJ_{xy} couplings depend on nearest-neighbors points x,yx, y of the Cayley tree. We study (p−p- adic) Gibbs measures of the model. We show that (i) if q∉pNq\notin p\mathbb{N} then there is unique Gibbs measure for any k≥1k\geq 1 and ∀Jxy\forall J_{xy} with ∣Jxy∣<p−1/(p−1)|J_{xy}|<p^{-1/(p-1)}. (ii) For q∈pN,p≥3q\in p\mathbb{N}, p\geq 3 one can choose JxyJ_{xy} and k≥1k\geq 1 such that there exist at least two Gibbs measures which are translation-invariant.

On Uniqueness of Gibbs Measures for PP-Adic Nonhomogeneous łł-Model on the Cayley Tree

We consider a nearest-neighbor pp-adic łł-model with spin values ±1\pm 1 on a Cayley tree of order k≥1k\geq 1. We prove for the model there is no phase transition and as well as the unique pp-adic Gibbs measure is bounded if and only if p≥3p\geq 3. If p=2p=2 then we find a condition which guarantees nonexistence of a phase transition. Besides, the results are applied to the pp-adic Ising model and we show that for the model there is a unique pp-adic Gibbs measure.
