Alcubierre Warp Drive in Bohmian Quantum Gravity

Alcubierre warp drive metric is coupled to quantum mechanical scalar matter field. The requirement of the exotic matter for the warp drive is mapped into a conformal wave equation. This result into a fourth order partial differential equation in terms of the quantum mechanical density. Finding a proper quantum mechanical density obeying the proposed partial differential equation will be a resolution to the exotic matter problem of Alcubierre warp drive in Bohmian Quantum Gravity context.

On the Mediating Field in a Conformally Transformed Einstein Equation

A unique constraint is defined within the framework of scalar-tensor theories, whereby the conformal factor is fixed to the fluctuation associated to the effective mass of the Hamilton-Jacobi equation for a Klein-Gordon field. The effective mass is extended to its exponential form to remove any ghost (energy) states. The constraint's Lagrange multiplier $λ$, referred to as the mediating field, is shown to act as a mediator between the scalar and tensor degrees of freedom. In its linear form, Heisenberg's uncertainty principle appears as a natural artifact of the mediating field. In its exponential form, the mediating field is shown to be bound, nonsingular, and of increasing significance for smaller masses. Furthermore, in acquiring the stress-energy tensors, the cosmological constant $Λ$ is formulated for a stationary solution of the particle density and mediating field. As a result, the mysterious variation in $Λ$ is properly evaluated from its cosmological value to that of an electron, from which a 77 order difference is obtained. In our final remarks, the mediating field $λ$ is suggested to be characteristic of the vacuum's energy density.

Quantum-gravity in a dynamical system perspective

General Theory of Relativity and Quantum theory gives two different description of the same mother nature in the big and small scale respectively. Mathematical languages of these two theories are entirely different, one is geometric while the other one is probabilistic. This curious feature makes the merging of these theories (quantum-gravity) considerably difficult. In this manuscript, we explore quantum-gravity in a dynamical system perspective. For example, in the standard quantum theory, the wave equation is a linear partial differential equation while in General Theory of relativity, the field equations are highly nonlinear. A classical dynamical system can show very rich phase-space structures which is absent in a linear partial differential equation. In order to incorporate gravitational corrections one can think about the nonlinear extensions of quantum theory. In this manuscript such an attempt to quantum gravity is explored. Dissipative and forcing corrections are found in the newly formulated quantum equation and it's physical interpretations are given.

Entanglement Manipulation in a Quantum Chaotic Optical Fiber by Modifying its Geometry

The effect of boundary deformation on the non-separable entanglement which appears in the classical elec- tromagnetic field is considered. A quantum chaotic billiard geometry is used to explore the influence of a mechanical modification of the optical fiber cross-sectional geometry on the production of non-separable entan- glement within classical fields. For the experimental realization of our idea, we propose an optical fiber with a cross section that belongs to the family of Robnik chaotic billiards. Our results show that a modification of the fiber geometry from a regular to a chaotic regime can enhance the transverse mode entanglement. Our proposal can be realized in a very simple experimental set-up which consists of a specially designed optical fiber where non-entangled light enters at the input end and entangled light propagates out at the output end after interacting with a fiber boundary that is known to generate chaotic behavior.
