Finite-dimensional representations of the elliptic modular double

We investigate the kernel space of an integral operator M(g) depending on the "spin" g and describing an elliptic Fourier transformation. The operator M(g) is an intertwiner for the elliptic modular double formed from a pair of Sklyanin algebras with the parameters $η$ and $τ$, Im$ τ>0$, Im$η>0$. For two-dimensional lattices $g=nη+ mτ/2$ and $g=1/2+nη+ mτ/2$ with incommensurate $1, 2η,τ$ and integers $n,m>0$, the operator M(g) has a finite-dimensional kernel that consists of the products of theta functions with two different modular parameters and is invariant under the action of generators of the elliptic modular double.

Iterative construction of eigenfunctions of the monodromy matrix for SL(2,C) magnet

Eigenfunctions of the matrix elements of the monodromy matrix provide a convenient basis for studies of spin chain models. We present an iterative method for constructing the eigenfunctions in the case of the SL(2,C) spin chains. We derived an explicit integral representation for the eigenfunctions and calculated the corresponding scalar products (Sklyanin's measure).

New elliptic solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation

We consider finite-dimensional reductions of an integral operator with the elliptic hypergeometric kernel describing the most general known solution of the Yang-Baxter equation with a rank 1 symmetry algebra. The reduced R-operators reproduce at their bottom the standard Baxter's R-matrix for the 8-vertex model and Sklyanin's L-operator. The general formula has a remarkably compact form and yields new elliptic solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation based on the finite-dimensional representations of the elliptic modular double. The same result is also derived using the fusion formalism.

Integrability of the evolution equations for heavy-light baryon distribution amplitudes

We consider evolution equations describing the scale dependence of the wave function of a baryon containing an infinitely heavy quark and a pair of light quarks at small transverse separations, which is the QCD analogue of the helium atom. The evolution equations depend on the relative helicity of the light quarks. For the aligned helicities, we find that the equation is completely integrable, that is it has a nontrivial integral of motion, and obtain exact analytic expressions for the eigenfunctions and the anomalous dimensions. The evolution equation for anti-aligned helicities contains an extra term that breaks integrability and creates a "bound state" with the anomalous dimension separated from the rest of the spectrum by a finite gap. The corresponding eigenfunction is found using numerical methods. It describes the momentum fraction distribution of the light quarks in, e.g., $Λ_b$-baryon at large scales.

Quantum mechanics of null polygonal Wilson loops

Scattering amplitudes in maximally supersymmetric gauge theory are dual to super-Wilson loops on null polygonal contours. The operator product expansion for the latter revealed that their dynamics is governed by the evolution of multiparticle GKP excitations. They were shown to emerge from the spectral problem of an underlying open spin chain. In this work we solve this model with the help of the Baxter Q-operator and Sklyanin's Separation of Variables methods. We provide an explicit construction for eigenfunctions and eigenvalues of GKP excitations. We demonstrate how the former define the so-called multiparticle hexagon transitions in super-Wison loops and prove their factorized form suggested earlier.

Dual conformal symmetry on the light-cone

We study the properties of conformal operators in the SL(2) sector of planar N=4 SYM and its supersymmetric SL(2|2) extension. The correlation functions of these operators and their form factors with respect to asymptotic on-shell states are determined in the appropriate limit by two different polynomials which can be identified as eigenstates of the dilatation operator in the coordinate and momentum representations, respectively. We argue that, in virtue of integrability of the dilatation operator, the two polynomials satisfy a duality relation -- they are proportional to each other upon an appropriate identification of momenta and coordinates. Combined with the conventional N=4 superconformal symmetry, this leads to the dual superconformal symmetry of the dilatation operator. We demonstrate that this symmetry is powerful enough to fix the eigenspectrum of the dilatation operator to the lowest order in the coupling. We use the relation between the one-loop dilatation operator and Heisenberg spin chain to show that, to lowest order in the coupling, the dual symmetry is generated by the Baxter Q-operator in the limit of large spectral parameter.

Yang-Baxter equation, parameter permutations, and the elliptic beta integral

We construct an infinite-dimensional solution of the Yang-Baxter equation (YBE) of rank 1 which is represented as an integral operator with an elliptic hypergeometric kernel acting in the space of functions of two complex variables. This R-operator intertwines the product of two standard L-operators associated with the Sklyanin algebra, an elliptic deformation of sl(2)-algebra. It is built from three basic operators $\mathrm{S}_1, \mathrm{S}_2$, and $\mathrm{S}_3$ generating the permutation group of four parameters $\mathfrak{S}_4$. Validity of the key Coxeter relations (including the star-triangle relation) is based on the elliptic beta integral evaluation formula and the Bailey lemma associated with an elliptic Fourier transformation. The operators $\mathrm{S}_j$ are determined uniquely with the help of the elliptic modular double.

Noncompact sl(N) spin chains: BGG-resolution, Q-operators and alternating sum representation for finite dimensional transfer matrices

We study properties of transfer matrices in the sl(N) spin chain models. The transfer matrices with an infinite dimensional auxiliary space are factorized into the product of N commuting Baxter Q-operators. We consider the transfer matrices with auxiliary spaces of a special type (including the finite dimensional ones). It is shown that they can be represented as the alternating sum over the transfer matrices with infinite dimensional auxiliary spaces. We show that certain combinations of the Baxter Q-operators can be identified with the Q-functions which appear in the Nested Bethe Ansatz.

Superconformal operators in Yang-Mills theories on the light-cone

We employ the light-cone superspace formalism to develop an efficient approach to constructing superconformal operators of twist two in Yang-Mills theories with N=1,2,4 supercharges. These operators have an autonomous scale dependence to one-loop order and determine the eigenfunctions of the dilatation operator in the underlying gauge theory. We demonstrate that for arbitrary N the superconformal operators are given by remarkably simple, universal expressions involving the light-cone superfields. When written in components field, they coincide with the known results obtained by conventional techniques.

Dilatation operator in (super-)Yang-Mills theories on the light-cone

The gauge/string correspondence hints that the dilatation operator in gauge theories with the superconformal SU(2,2|N) symmetry should possess universal integrability properties for different N. We provide further support for this conjecture by computing a one-loop dilatation operator in all (super)symmetric Yang-Mills theories on the light-cone ranging from gluodynamics all the way to the maximally supersymmetric N=4 theory. We demonstrate that the dilatation operator takes a remarkably simple form when realized in the space spanned by single-trace products of superfields separated by light-like distances. The latter operators serve as generating functions for Wilson operators of the maximal Lorentz spin and the scale dependence of the two are in the one-to-one correspondence with each other. In the maximally supersymmetric, N=4 theory all nonlocal light-cone operators are built from a single CPT self-conjugated superfield while for N=0,1,2 one has to deal with two distinct superfields and distinguish three different types of such operators. We find that for the light-cone operators built from only one species of superfields, the one-loop dilatation operator takes the same, universal form in all SYM theories and it can be mapped in the multi-color limit into a Hamiltonian of the SL(2|N) Heisenberg (super)spin chain of length equal to the number of superfields involved. For "mixed'' light-cone operators involving both superfields the dilatation operator for N<=2 receives an additional contribution from the exchange interaction between superfields on the light-cone which breaks its integrability symmetry and creates a mass gap in the spectrum of anomalous dimensions.

Quantum integrability in (super) Yang-Mills theory on the light-cone

We employ the light-cone formalism to construct in the (super) Yang-Mills theories in the multi-color limit the one-loop dilatation operator acting on single trace products of chiral superfields separated by light-like distances. In the N=4 Yang-Mills theory it exhausts all Wilson operators of the maximal Lorentz spin while in nonsupersymmetric Yang-Mills theory it is restricted to the sector of maximal helicity gluonic operators. We show that the dilatation operator in all N-extended super Yang-Mills theories is given by the same integral operator which acts on the (N+1)-dimensional superspace and is invariant under the SL(2|N) superconformal transformations. We construct the R-matrix on this space and identify the dilatation operator as the Hamiltonian of the Heisenberg SL(2|N) spin chain.

Separation of variables for the quantum SL(2,R) spin chain

We construct representation of the Separated Variables (SoV) for the quantum SL(2,R) Heisenberg closed spin chain and obtain the integral representation for the eigenfunctions of the model. We calculate explicitly the Sklyanin measure defining the scalar product in the SoV representation and demonstrate that the language of Feynman diagrams is extremely useful in establishing various properties of the model. The kernel of the unitary transformation to the SoV representation is described by the same "pyramid diagram" as appeared before in the SoV representation for the SL(2,C) spin magnet. We argue that this kernel is given by the product of the Baxter Q-operators projected onto a special reference state.

Noncompact Heisenberg spin magnets from high-energy QCD: III. Quasiclassical approach

The exact solution of the noncompact SL(2,C) Heisenberg spin magnet reveals a hidden symmetry of the energy spectrum. To understand its origin, we solve the spectral problem for the model within quasiclassical approach. In this approach, the integrals of motion satisfy the Bohr-Sommerfeld quantization conditions imposed on the orbits of classical motion. In the representation of the separated coordinates, the latter wrap around a Riemann surface defined by the spectral curve of the model. A novel feature of the obtained quantization conditions is that they involve both the alpha- and beta-periods of the action differential on the Riemann surface, thus allowing us to find their solutions by exploring the full modular group of the spectral curve. We demonstrate that the quasiclassical energy spectrum is in a good agreement with the exact results.

Noncompact Heisenberg spin magnets from high-energy QCD: I. Baxter Q-operator and Separation of Variables

We analyze a completely integrable two-dimensional quantum-mechanical model that emerged in the recent studies of the compound gluonic states in multi-color QCD at high energy. The model represents a generalization of the well-known homogenous Heisenberg spin magnet to infinite-dimensional representations of the SL(2,C) group and can be reformulated within the Quantum Inverse Scattering Method. Solving the Yang-Baxter equation, we obtain the R-matrix for the SL(2,C) representations of the principal series and discuss its properties. We explicitly construct the Baxter Q-operator for this model and show how it can be used to determine the energy spectrum. We apply Sklyanin's method of the Separated Variables to obtain an integral representation for the eigenfunctions of the Hamiltonian. We demonstrate that the language of Feynman diagrams supplemented with the method of uniqueness provide a powerful technique for analyzing the properties of the model.

The spectrum of the anomalous dimensions of the composite operators in the $ε$ - expansion in the scalar $ϕ^4$ - field theory

The spectrum of the anomalous dimensions of the composite operators (with arbitrary number of fields $n$ and derivatives $l$) in the scalar $ϕ^4$ - theory in the first order of the $ε$ -expansion is investigated. The exact solution for the operators with number of fields $\leq 4$ is presented. The behaviour of the anomalous dimensions in the large $l$ limit has been analyzed. It is given the qualitative description of the %structure of the spectrum for the arbitrary $n$.
