On Hamiltonian intermittency in equal mass three-body problem

We demonstrate that both kinds of the Hamiltonian intermittency exert an influence on the disruption statistics in the equal mass three-body problem. Studying initially-resting triple systems we found a narrow region in the vicinity of the strong chaos, where the influence of the second kind Hamiltonian intermittency ($T_d^{-3/2}$) trajectories cause the integral distribution to distort enough to be detected. We fitted the integral distribution with both power-laws ($T_d^{-3/2}$ and $T_d^{-2/3}$) taken into account, and found an excellent agreement between the fit and observed integral distribution.

General features of Bianchi-I cosmological models in Lovelock gravity

We derived equations of motion corresponding to Bianchi-I cosmological models in the Lovelock gravity. Equations derived in the general case, without any specific ansatz for any number of spatial dimensions and any order of the Lovelock correction. We also analyzed the equations of motion solely taking into account the highest-order correction and described the drastic difference between the cases with odd and even numbers of spatial dimensions. For power-law ansatz we derived conditions for Kasner and generalized Milne regimes for the model considered. Finally, we discuss the possible influence of matter in the form of perfect fluid on the solutions obtained.

New features of flat (4+1)-dimensional cosmological model with a perfect fluid in Gauss-Bonnet gravity

We investigated a flat multidimensional cosmological model in Gauss-Bonnet gravity in presence of a matter in form of perfect fluid. We found analytically new stationary regimes (these results are valid for arbitrary number of spatial dimensions) and studied their stability by means of numerical recipes in 4+1-dimensional case. In the vicinity of the stationary regime we discovered numerically another non-singular regime which appears to be periodical. Finally, we demonstrated that the presence of matter in form of a perfect fluid lifts some constraints on the dynamics of the 4+1-dimensional model which have been found earlier.

The dynamics of the flat anisotropic models in the Lovelock gravity. I: The even-dimensional case

In this article we give a full description of the dynamics of the flat anisotropic (4+1)-dimensional cosmological model in the presence of both Gauss-Bonnet and Einstein contributions. This is the first complete description of this model with both terms taken into account. Our data is obtained using the numerical analysis, though, we use analytics to explain some features of the results obtained, and the same analytics could be applied to higher-dimensional models in higher-order Lovelock corrections. Firstly, we investigate the vacuum model and give a description of all regimes; then, we add a matter source in the form of perfect fluid and study the influence the matter exerts upon the dynamics. Thus, we give a description of matter regimes as well. Additionally, we demonstrate that the presence of matter not only "improves" the situation with a smooth transition between the standard singularity and the Kasner regime, but also brings additional regimes and even partially "erases" the boundaries between different regimes inside the same triplet. Finally, we discuss the numerical and analytical results obtained and their generalization to the higher-order models.

The nature of singularity in multidimensional anisotropic Gauss-Bonnet cosmology with a perfect fluid

We investigate dynamics of (4+1) and (5+1) dimensional flat anisotropic Universe filled by a perfect fluid in the Gauss-Bonnet gravity. An analytical solutions valid for particular values of the equation of state parameter $w=1/3$ have been found. For other values of $w$ structure of cosmological singularity have been studied numerically. We found that for $w > 1/3$ the singularity is isotropic. Several important differences between (4+1) and (5+1) dimensional cases are discussed.
