Integrable generalized Heisenberg ferromagnet equations with self-consistent potentials and related Yajima-Oikawa type equations

We consider some nonlinear models describing interactions of long and short (LS) waves. Such LS models have been derived and proposed with various motivations, which mainly come from fluid and plasma physics. In this paper, we study some of integrable LS models, namely, the Yajima-Oikawa equation, the Newell equation, the Ma equation, the Geng-Li equation and etc. In particular, the gauge equivalent counterparts of these integrable LS models (equations) are found. In fact, these gauge equivalents of the LS equations are integrable generalized Heisenberg ferromagnet equations (HFE) with self-consistent potentials (HFESCP). The associated Lax representations of these HFESCP are given. We also presented several spin-phonon equations which describe nonlinear interactions of spin and lattice subsystems in ferromagnetic materials.

Generalized Heisenberg Ferromagnet type Equation and Modified Camassa-Holm Equation: Geometric Formulation, Soliton Solutions and Equivalence

We study the integrability and equivalence of a generalized Heisenberg ferromagnet-type equation (GHFE). The different forms of this equation as well as its reduction are presented. The Lax representation (LR) of the equation is obtained. We observe that the geometrical and gauge equivalent counterpart of the GHFE is the modified Camassa-Holm equation (mCHE) with an arbitrary parameter $κ$. Finally, the 1-soliton solution of the GHFE is obtained.

Zakharov-Ito equation and Generalized Heisenberg ferromagnet-type equation: equivalence and related geometric curve flows

These results continue our studies of integrable generalized Heisenberg ferromagnet-type equations (GHFE) and their equivalent counterparts. We consider the GHFE which is the spin equivalent of the Zakharov-Ito equation (ZIE). We have established that these equations are gauge and geometrical equivalent to each other. The integrable motion of space curves induced by the ZIE is constructed. The 1-soliton solution of the GHFE is obtained from the seed solution of the ZIE.

Cosmological models with non-canonical scalar and fermion fields: k-essence, f-essence and g-essence

In the present work, we study the cosmological model with fermionic field and with the non-canonical kinetic term (f-essence). We also present some important reductions of the model as well as its some generalizations. We also found the exact solution of the model and examine the influence of such gravity-fermion interaction on the observed accelerated expansion of our universe. Several fermionic and bosonic-fermionic DBI models were constructed as some particular reductions of f-essence and g-essence, respectively and their Chaplygin gas counterparts are found. Finally, some nonlinear models of bouncing and cyclic universes are proposed.

Darboux transformations and exact soliton solutions of integrable coupled spin systems related with the Manakov system

We construct a Darboux transformation of a general $su(3)$-valued spin system called the $Γ$-spin system. Using this Darboux transformation we derive a recursive formula for the soliton solutions of this spin system. Then using these results we present explicit expressions for the 1-soliton solution of the coupled $su(2)$-valued spin systems, namely, of the coupled M-LIII equation.

Dynamical Instability of Cylindrically Symmetric Collapsing Star in Generalized Teleparallel Gravity

This paper is devoted to analyze the dynamical instability of a self-gravitating object undergoes to collapse process. We take the framework of generalized teleparallel gravity with cylindrically symmetric gravitating object. The matter distribution is represented by locally anisotropic energy-momentum tensor. We develop basic equations such as dynamical equations along with matching conditions and Harrison-Wheeler equation of state. By applying linear perturbation strategy, we construct collapse equation which is used to accomplish the instability ranges in Newtonian and post-Newtonian regimes. We find these ranges for isotropic pressure as well as reduce the results in general relativity. The unstable behavior depends on matter, metric, mass and torsion based terms.

Fidelity Susceptibility as Holographic PV-Criticality

It is well known that entropy can be used to holographically establish a connection between geometry, thermodynamics and information theory. In this paper, we will use complexity to holographically establish a connection between geometry, thermodynamics and information theory. Thus, we will analyse the relation between holographic complexity, fidelity susceptibility, and thermodynamics in extended phase space. We will demonstrate that fidelity susceptibility (which is the informational complexity dual to a maximum volume in AdS) can be related to the thermodynamical volume (which is conjugate to the cosmological constant in the extended thermodynamic phase space). Thus, this letter establishes a relation between geometry, thermodynamics, and information theory, using complexity.

Holographic Complexity for Time-Dependent Backgrounds

In this paper, we will analyse the holographic complexity for time-dependent asymptotically $AdS$ geometries. We will first use a covariant zero mean curvature slicing of the time-dependent bulk geometries, and then use this co-dimension one spacelike slice of the bulk spacetime to define a co-dimension two minimal surface. The time-dependent holographic complexity will be defined using the volume enclosed by this minimal surface. This time-dependent holographic complexity will reduce to the usual holographic complexity for static geometries. We will analyse the time-dependence as a perturbation of the asymptotically $AdS$ geometries. Thus, we will obtain time-dependent asymptotically $AdS$ geometries, and we will calculate the holographic complexity for such a time-dependent geometries.

Holographic Complexity in Gauge/String Superconductors

Following a methodology similar to \cite{Alishahiha:2015rta}, we derive a holographic complexity for two dimensional holographic superconductors (gauge/string superconductors) with backreactions. Applying a perturbation method proposed by Kanno in Ref. \cite{kanno}, we study behaviors of the complexity for a dual quantum system near critical points. We show that when a system moves from the normal phase ($T>T_c$) to the superconductor phase ($T<T_c$), the holographic complexity will be divergent.

Integrable geometric flows of interacting curves/surfaces, multilayer spin systems and the vector nonlinear Schrödinger equation

In this paper, we study integrable multilayer spin systems, namely, the multilayer M-LIII equation. We investigate their relation with the geometric flows of interacting curves and surfaces in some space $R^{n}$. Then we present their the Lakshmanan equivalent counterparts. We show that these equivalent counterparts are, in fact, the vector nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE). It is well-known that the vector NLSE is equivalent to the $Γ$-spin system. Also, we have presented the transformations which give the relation between solutions of the $Γ$-spin system and the multilayer M-LIII equation. It is interesting to note that the integrable multilayer M-LIII equation contains constant magnetic field ${\bf H}$. It seems that this constant magnetic vector plays an important role in theory of "integrable multilayer spin system" and in nonlinear dynamics of magnetic systems. Finally, we present some classes of integrable models of interacting vortices.

K-essence in Horndeski models

In this paper, we investigate a simple class of Horndeski models where the scalar field plays the role of a k-essence fluid. We present several solutions for early-time universe, namely inflation and cosmological bounce, by making use of some reconstruction technique. Moreover, we furnish the formalism to calculate perturbations in FRW space-time and we compute the spectral index and the tensor-to-scalar ratio during inflation.

Noether symmetry in $F(T)$ gravity with $f$-essence

In $F(T)$ gravity theory, a Friedman-Robertson-Walker cosmological model with $f$-essence where fermion field is non-minimally coupled with the gravitational field is studied. Using the Noether symmetry approach the possible forms of $F(T)$ gravity and the non-canonical fermionic lagrangian $K$ are determined. Cosmological solutions of the condered models describing the accelerated and decelerated periods of the universe are found.

Given some specific class of models and using a potential on the mimetic field, we investigate some scenarios related to the early-time universe, namely the inflation and the cosmological bounce, compatibly with Einstein's gravity with cold dark matter at the late-time.

On the Hojman conservation quantities in FRW Cosmology

In the present work we investigate the Hojman symmetry in FRW cosmology. In particular, we use the Hojman symmetry to find conserved quantities of particular cosmological models. Next, we study the Hojman symmetry in the scalar-tensor cosmology and find corresponding exact forms of integrals of motion. Finally, the formalism of the Hojman symmetry is extended to dynamical systems with the higher-order equations of motion.

Power-law and Logarithmic Entropy Corrected Holographic Dark Energy Models in Brans-Dicke Cosmology with Granda-Oliveros Cut-Off

In this paper, the cosmological implications of the Power Law Entropy Corrected Holographic Dark Energy (PLECHDE) and the Logarithmic Entropy Corrected Holographic Dark Energy (LECHDE) models in the context of Brans-Dicke (BD) cosmology for both non-interacting and interacting DE and Dark Matter (DM) are studied. As the system infrared cut-off, we choose the recently proposed Granda-Oliveros cut-off, which contains a term proportional to the first time derivative of the Hubble parameter and one term proportional to $H^2$, i.e. the Hubble parameter squared. We obtain the expressions of three quantities, i.e. the Equation of State (EoS) parameter $ω_D$, the deceleration parameter $q$ and the evolutionary form of the energy density parameter $Ω'_D$ of the PLECHDE and LECHDE models in a non-flat Universe for non-interacting and interacting DE and DM as well. Moreover, we investigate the limiting cases corresponding to: a) absence of entropy corrections; b) Einstein's gravity; and c) concomitantly absence of entropy corrections and Einstein's gravity. Furthermore, we consider the limiting case corresponding to the Ricci scale, which is recovered for some particular values of the parameters characterizing the Granda-Oliveros scale. We also study the statefinder diagnostic and the cosmographic parameters for both models considered in this work.

Power-Law Entropy-Corrected Holographic Dark Energy in Hořava-Lifshitz Cosmology with Granda-Oliveros Cut-off

In this paper, we study the Power Law Entropy Corrected Holographic Dark Energy (PLECHDE) model in the framework of a non-flat Universe and of Hořava-Lifshitz cosmology with infrared cut-off given by recently proposed Granda-Oliveros cut-off, which contains one term proportional to the Hubble parameter squared $H^2$ and one term proportional to the first time derivative of the Hubble parameter $\dot{H}$. Moreover, this cut-off is characterized by two constant parameters, $α$ and $β$. For the two cases corresponding to non-interacting and interacting DE and Dark Matter (DM), we derive the evolutionary form of the energy density of DE $Ω_D'$, the Equation of State (EoS) parameter of DE $ω_D$ and the deceleration parameter $q$. Using the parametrization of the EoS parameter $ω_D\left(z\right)=ω_0+ω_1 z$, we obtain the expressions of the two parameters $ω_0$ and $ω_1$. We also study the statefinder parameters $\left\{ r,s \right\}$, the snap and lerk cosmographic parameters and the squared speed of the sound $v_s^2$. We also calculate the values of the quantities we study for different values of the running parameter $λ$ and for different set of values of $α$ and $β$.

Shear-free Anisotropic Cosmological Models in f(R) Gravity

We study a class of shear-free, homogeneous but anisotropic cosmological models with imperfect matter sources in the context of f(R) gravity. We show that the anisotropic stresses are related to the electric part of the Weyl tensor in such a way that they balance each other. We also show that within the class of orthogonal f(R) models, small perturbations of shear are damped, and that the electric part of the Weyl tensor and the anisotropic stress tensor decay with the expansion as well as the heat flux of the curvature fluid. Specializing in locally rotationally symmetric spacetimes in orthonormal frames, we examine the late-time behaviour of the de Sitter universe in $f(R)$ gravity. For the Starobinsky model of f(R), we study the evolutionary behavior of the Universe by numerically integrating the Friedmann equation, where the initial conditions for the expansion, acceleration and jerk parameters are taken from observational data.

Analytical coexistence of s, p, s + p phases of a holographic superconductor

We analytically study the critical phase of a mixed system of the U(2) gauge fields and global symmetry on the boundary using gauge/gravity. A variational minimization problem has been formulated. The numerical results pertinently show that there exists a minimum chemical potential in which both scalar (s-wave) and vector (p-wave) condensates exist in a mixture, as well as in the distinct s- and p-phases. This result is obtained by breaking the symmetry into U(1) symmetry and rotational symmetry. While the analytical solutions of condensates and charge densities are achieved in both cases: the balanced and unbalanced holographic superconductors. This is the first an- alytical study of the coexistence of two modes of the superconductivity with different order parameters. The realistic model consists of two different phases of the superfluidity in Helium.

Chaotic inflation in higher derivative gravity theories

In this paper, we investigate chaotic inflation from scalar field subjected to potential in the framework of $f(R^2, P, Q)$-gravity, where we add a correction to Einstein's gravity based on a function of the square of the Ricci scalar $R^2$, the contraction of the Ricci tensor $P$, and the contraction of the Riemann tensor $Q$. The Gauss-Bonnet case is also discussed. We give the general formalism of inflation, deriving the slow-roll parameters, the $e$-folds number, and the spectral indexes. Several explicit examples are furnished, namely we will consider the cases of massive scalar field and scalar field with quartic potential and some power-law function of the curvature invariants under investigation in the gravitational action of the theory. Viable inflation according with observations is analyzed.

Consequences of three modified forms of holographic dark energy models in bulk-brane interaction

In this paper, we study the effects which are produced by the interaction between a brane Universe and the bulk in which the Universe is embedded. Taking into account the effects produced by the interaction between a brane Universe and the bulk, we derived the Equation of State (EoS) parameter $ω_D$ for three different models of Dark Energy (DE), \emph{i.e.} the Holographic DE (HDE) model with infrared (IR) cut-off given by the Granda-Oliveros cut-off, the Modified Holographic Ricci DE (MHRDE) model and a DE model which is function of the Hubble parameter $H$ squared and to higher derivatives of $H$. Moreover, we have considered two different cases of scale factor (namely, the power law and the emergent ones). A nontrivial contribution of the DE is observed to be different from the standard matter fields confined to the brane. Such contribution has a monotonically decreasing behavior upon the evolution of the Universe for the emergent scenario of the scale factor, while monotonically increasing for the power-law form of the scale factor $a(t)$.

F(R) gravity and inflation

In this short review, we revisit inflation in F(R)-gravity. We find several F(R)-models for viable inflation by applying some reconstruction techniques. A special attention is payed in the reproduction of the last Planck satellite data. The possible generalizations of Starobinsky- like inflation are found and discussed. The early-time acceleration is analyzed in a higher- derivative quantum gravitational model which mainly reduces to F(R)-gravity.

Holographic Entanglement Entropy in 2D Holographic Superconductor via $AdS_3/CFT_2$

The aim of the present letter is to find the holographic entanglement entropy (HEE) in 2D holographic superconductors (HSC). Indeed, it is possible to compute the exact form of this entropy due to an advantage of approximate solutions inside normal and superconducting phases with backreactions. By making the UV and IR limits applied to the integrals, an approximate expression for HEE is obtained. In case the software cannot calculate minimal surface integrals analytically, it offers the possibility to proceed with a numerical evaluation of the corresponding terms. We'll understand how the area formula incorporates the structure of the domain wall approximation. We see that HEE changes linearly with belt angle. It's due to the extensivity of this type of entropy and the emergent of an entropic force. We find that the wider belt angle corresponds to a larger holographic surface. Another remarkable observation is that no "confinement/deconfinement" phase transition point exists in our $2D$ dual field theory. Furthermore we observe that the slope of the HEE with respect to the temperature freedom(s) in low temperature system. A first order phase transition is detected near the critical point.

Inflationary universe from higher-derivative quantum gravity

We consider higher-derivative quantum gravity where renormalization group improved effective action beyond one-loop approximation is derived. Using this effective action, the quantum-corrected FRW equations are analyzed. De Sitter universe solution is found. It is demonstrated that such de Sitter inflationary universe is instable. The slow-roll inflationary parameters are calculated. The contribution of renormalization group improved Gauss-Bonnet term to quantum-corrected FRW equations as well as to instability of de Sitter universe is estimated. It is demonstrated that in this case the spectral index and tensor-to-scalar ratio are consistent with Planck data.

Kaluza-Klein reduction and Bergmann-Wagoner bi-scalar general action of scalar-tensor gravity

We examine the Kaluza-Klein (KK) dimensional reduction from higher-dimensional space-time and the properties of the resultant Bergmann-Wagoner general action of scalar-tensor theories. With the analysis of the perturbations, we also investigate the stability of the anti-de Sitter (AdS) space-time in the $D\in\mathcal{N}$-dimensional Einstein gravity with the negative cosmological constant. Furthermore, we derive the conditions for the dimensional reduction to successfully be executed and present the KK compactification mechanism.

Noether Symmetry Approach for teleparallel-curvature cosmology

We consider curvature-teleparallel $F(R,T)$ gravity, where the gravitational Lagrangian density is given by an arbitrary function of the Ricci scalar $R$ and the torsion scalar $T$. Using the Noether Symmetry Approach, we show that the functional form of the $F(R, T)$ function, can be determined by the presence of symmetries . Furthermore, we obtain exact solutions through to the presence of conserved quantities and the reduction of cosmological dynamical system. Example of particular cosmological models are considered.

Reconstruction of Inflation Models

In this paper, we reconstruct viable inflationary models by starting from spectral index and tensor-to-scalar ratio from Planck observations. We analyze three different kinds of models: scalar field theories, fluid cosmology and f(R)-modified gravity. We recover the well known R^2-inflation in Jodan frame and Einstein frame representation, the massive scalar inflaton models and two models of inhomogeneous fluid. A model of R^2-correction to Einstein's gravity plus a "cosmological constant" with an exact solution for early time acceleration is reconstructed.

Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff equations in non-local $f(R)$ gravity

Non-local $f(R)$ gravity was proposed as a powerfull alternative to general relativity (GR) . This theory has potentially adverse implications for infrared (IR) regime as well as ultraviolent(UV) early epochs. However, there are a lot of powerful features, making it really user-friendly. A scalar-tensor frame comprising two auxiliary scalar fields, used to reduce complex action. However this is not the case for the modification complex which plays a distinct role in modified theories for gravity. In this work, we study the dynamics of a static, spherically symmetric object. The interior region of spacetime had rapidly filled the perfect fluid. However, it is possible to derive a physically based model which relates interior metric to non-local $f(R)$. The Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff (TOV) equations would be a set of first order differential equations from which we can deduce all mathematical (physical) truths and derive all dynamical objects. This set of dynamical equations govern pressure $p$, density $ρ$, mass $m$ and auxiliary fields $\{ψ,ξ\}$. The full conditional solutions are evaluated and inverted numerically to obtain exact forms of the compact stars Her X-1, SAX J 1808.4-3658 and 4U 1820-30 for non-local Starobinsky model of $f(\Box^{-1}R)=\Box^{-1}R+α\Big(\Box^{-1}R\Big)^2$. The program solves the differential equations numerically using adaptive Gaussian quadrature. An ascription of correctness is supposed to be an empirical equation of state $\frac{P}{P_c}= a (1- e^{-b\fracρ{ρ_c}})$ for star which is informative in so far as it excludes an alternative non local approach to compact star formation. This model is most suited for astrophysical observation.

Bounce solutions in viscous fluid cosmology

We investigate the bounce cosmology induced by inhomogeneous viscous fluids in FRW space-time (non necessarly flat), taking into account the early-time acceleration after the bounce. Different forms for the scale factor and several examples of fluids will be considered. We also analyze the relation between bounce and finite-time singularities and between the corresponding fluids realizing this scenarios. In the last part of the work, the study is extended to the framework of $f(R)$-modified gravity, where the modification of gravity may also be considered as an effective (viscous) fluid producing the bounce.

Condensation of the scalar field with Stuckelberg and Weyl Corrections in the background of a planar AdS-Schwarzschild black hole

We study analytical properties of the Stuckelberg holographic superconductors with Weyl corrections. We obtain the minimum critical temperature as a function of the mass of the scalar field $m^2$. We show that in limit of the $m^2=-3$,$T^{Min}_c\approx0.158047\sqrt[3]ρ$ which is close to the numerical estimate $T_c^{Numerical}\approx 0.170\sqrt[3]ρ$. Further we show that the mass of the scalar field in bounded from below by the $ m^2>m_c^2$ where $m_c^2=-5.40417$. This lower bound is weaker and different from the previous lower bound $m^2=-3$ predicted by stability analysis. We show that in the Breitenlohner-Freedman bound, the critical temperature remains finite. Explicitly, we prove that here there is exist a linear relation between $<O_Δ>$ and the chemical potential.

Conformal Invariant Teleparallel Cosmology

We study teleparallel gravitational theories with are invariant under the conformal transformations. Wide family of the gravitational Lagrangians that are invariant under conformal transformations have investigated. Cosmological solutions inspired by the observational data for a flat Universe in the vacuum has been found. To add matter fields to the cosmological models by preserving the conformal symmetry there are significant limitations. Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) equations based on the effective terms of energy density and pressure have been rewriting and continuity equation for the effective quantities are derived. In the vacuum and in the absence of any matter field, the FRW equation has an exact solution for Hubble parameter which is consistent with the cosmological data, specially given analytical solution is in good agreement with $Λ$CDM model in the present time. Then the scalar field-Torsion models in the cosmological FRW background investigated. Massless scalar field equations are very complex with an exact analytical solution in special limits. We have shown that the Lagrangian scalar field with self interaction $V(ϕ)=\frac{1}{4!}μϕ^4$ can be written that the conformal symmetry is preserved.

Coupled fluids model in FRW space-time

In this paper, we analyze a two coupled fluids model by investigating several solutions for accelerated universe in flat FRW space-time. One of the fluids can be identified with the matter and the model possesses the standard matter solution also. Beyond the removal of the coincidence problem, we will see how the coupling may change the description of the energy contents of the universe and which features can be aquired with respect to the standard decoupled cases.

Inhomogeneous Universe in f(T) Theory

We obtain the equations of motions of the $f(T)$ theory considering the Lemaître-Tolman-Bondi's metric for a set of diagonal and non-diagonal tetrads. In the case of diagonal tetrads the equations of motion of the $f(T)$ theory impose a constant torsion or the same equations of the General Relativity, while in the case of non-diagonal set the equations are quite different from that obtained in GR. We show a simple example of an universe dominated by the matter for the two cases. The comparison of the mass in the non-diagonal case shows a sort of increased with respect to the diagonal one. We also perform two examples for the non-diagonal case. The first concerns a black hole solution of type Sshwarzschild which presents a temperature higher than that of Schwarzschild, and a black hole in a dust-dominated universe.

Inhomogeneous viscous fluids for inflation

In this paper, we investigate inhomogeneous viscous fluid cosmology for inflation. Several toy models are presented in the attempt to analyze how inflation can be realized according with cosmological data by making use of an inhomogeneous EoS parameter for the fluid and/or by introducing a viscosity to have a graceful exit from inflation. The results will be compared with the ones of scalar field representation and discussed. We will pay attention on the possibility to recover the reheating and therefore the Friedmann universe.

We analyze different kinds of such fluids and investigate the possibility to reproduce the current cosmic acceleration providing a different future evolution with respect to the Cosmological Constant case. In particular, we study the presence of finite-future time singularities. We also discuss a general class of "integrable" viscous fluid models whose bulk viscosities obey to a common differential equation.

New Modified Mimetic Gravity

A modified Mimetic gravity (MMG) is proposed as a generalization of general relativity. The model contain a physical metric which is function of an auxiliary (unphysical) metric and a Lyra's metric. We construct different kinds of conformally invariant models in different levels of the expansion parameter $λ$. This model phenomenologically has been extended to higher order forms. Cosmology of a certain class of such models has been investigated in details. A cosmological solution has been proposed in inhomogeneous form of scalar field. For homogenous case, energy conditions are widely investigated. We have shown that the system evaluated at intervals shorter than a certain time $T_c$ meets all the energy conditions.

Nonommutative wormholes in $f(R)$ gravity

This paper discusses several new exact solutions of static wormholes in $f(R)$ gravity with a noncommutative-geometry background, which replaces point-like structures by smeared objects. Power Law and Logarithmic Ricci Dark Energy Models in Horava-Lifshitz Cosmology

In this work, we studied the Power Law and the Logarithmic Entropy Corrected versions of the Ricci Dark Energy (RDE) model in a spatially non-flat universe and in the framework of Hořava-Lifshitz cosmology. For the two cases containing non-interacting and interacting RDE and Dark Matter (DM), we obtained the exact differential equation that determines the evolutionary form of the RDE energy density parameter. Moreover, we obtained the expressions of the deceleration parameter $q$ and, using a parametrization of the equation of state (EoS) parameter $ω_D$ as $ω_D\left(z\right)=ω_0+ω_1 z$, we derived the expressions of both $ω_0$ and $ω_1$. We interestingly found that the expression of $ω_0$ is the same for both non-interacting and interacting case. The expression of $ω_1$ for the interacting case has strong dependence from the interacting parameter $b^2$. The parameters derived in this work are done in small redshift approximation and for low redshift expansion of the EoS parameter.

Teleparallelism by inhomogeneous dark fluid

In this paper, we investigate $f(T)$ cosmology and find an exact solution for $f$ which gives a Little Rip cosmology. Also, considering accelerating cosmology with dark matter, the time-dependent solution is found. For these cases, by using solutions obtained from $f(T)$ gravity we find expressions for $ω$ and $Λ$ defined as time functions via equivalent description in terms of inhomogeneous fluid. This puts the question: which theoretical model describes the observational cosmology?

Warm Intermediate Inflation in $F(T)$ Gravity

We investigate warm intermediate scenario of the cosmological inflation in $F(T)$ gravity in the limit of high dissipation. The inflationary expansion is driven by the scalar inflaton while the gravitational dynamics follow from the $F(T)$ gravity. We calculate the relevant inflationary observables such as scalar-tensor ratio, power-spectrum indices of density perturbations and gravitational waves and the e-folding parameter. We obtain a ratio of slow-roll parameters to be constant. Our calculations support the warm-intermediate inflationary scenario in a spacetime with torsion. Moreover our results are compatible with the astrophysical observations of cosmic microwave background and Planck data.

A dark energy with higher order derivatives of $H$ in the modified gravity $f(R,T)$

In this paper, we consider a recently proposed model of Dark Energy (DE) which contains three terms (one proportional to the squared Hubble parameter, one to the first derivative with respect to the cosmic time of the Hubble parameter and one proportional to the second derivative with respect to the cosmic time of the Hubble parameter) in the light of the $f\left(R,T \right)$ model of modified gravity, considering the particular model $f\left(R,T \right) = μR + νT$, with $μ$ and $ν$ two free positive constant parameters. Here $R$ and $T$ are the curvature and torsion scalars, respectively. In this work, we have found that the Hubble parameter $H$ exhibits a decaying behavior until redshifts of the order of $z\approx-0.5$ (when it starts to increase) and the time derivative of the Hubble parameter goes from negative to positive values for different redshifts. The equation of state (EoS) parameter of DE and the effective EoS parameter exhibit a transition from $ω<-1$ to $ω>-1$ (then the EoS parameters have a quintom-like behavior). We have also found that the said model can attain the late time accelerated phase of the universe. Using the statefinder parameters $r$ and $s$, we derived that the considered model can attaining the $Λ$CDM phase of the universe and can interpolate between dust and $Λ$CDM phase of the universe. Finally, studying the squared speed of sound $v_s^2$, we have seen that the model under consideration is classically stable in the earlier stage of the universe, but classically unstable in the current stage.

The holographic model for a two-dimensional superconductor has been investigated by considering the three-dimensional gravity in the bulk. To find the critical temperature, we used the Sturm-Liouville variational method. Where as the same method is applied for calculating the condensation of the dual operators on the boundary. We included the back reactions on the metric by a combination of the perturbation method of the fields with respect to the small parameter and then applying the variational integrals on the resulting equations of the motion. The critical temperature has been successfully obtained on the backreaction effects, and we showed that it dropped with a rise in the backreaction of the fields, and it makes the condensation harder. We can use our analytical results to support the numerical data which was reported previously.

Cosmological evolution of equation of state for dark energy in G-essence models

We explore the cosmological evolution of equation of state (EoS) for dark energy in g-essence models, the action of which is described by a function of both the canonical kinetic term of both the scalar and fermionic fields. We examine g-essence models with realizing the crossing of the phantom divide line of $w_{\mathrm{DE}}=-1$ as well as the models in which the universe always stays in the non-phantom (quintessence) phase ($w_{\mathrm{DE}}>-1$). In particular, we find an explicit g-essence model with the crossing from the non-phantom phase to the phantom one ($w_{\mathrm{DE}}<-1$). This transition behavior is consistent with the recent observational data analyses.

Cosmological solutions in F(T) gravity with the presence of spinor fields

The presence of spinor fields is considered in the framework of some extensions of teleparallel gravity, where the Weitzenböck connection is assumed. Some well known models as the Chaplygin gas and its generalizations are reconstructed in terms of a spinor field in the framework of teleparallel gravity. In addition, the ΛCDM model is also realized with the presence of a spinor field where a simple self-intercating term is considered and the corresponding action is reconstructed. Other cosmological solutions and the reconstruction of the gravitational action in terms of the scalar torsion is studied.

Einstein gravity with Gauss-Bonnet entropic corrections

A toy model of Einstein gravity with a Gauss-Bonnet classically "entropic" term mimicking a quantum correction is considered. The static black hole solution due to Tomozawa is found and generalized with the inclusion of non trivial horizon topology, and its entropy evaluated deriving the first law by equations of motion. As a result the Bekenstein-Hawking area law turns to be corrected by a logarithmic area term. A Misner-Sharp expression for the mass of black hole is found. Within a Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) cosmological setting, the model is used in order to derive modified Friedmann equations. Such new equations are shown to reproduce the first law with the same formal entropy and quasi local energy of the static case, but here within a FLRW space-time interpreted as a dynamical cosmological black hole. A detailed analysis of cosmological solutions is presented, and it is shown that the presence of the correction term provides regular solutions and interesting phases of acceleration and decelerations, as well as, with negligible matter, exact de Sitter solutions.

Geometrothermodynamics of higher dimensional black holes

We study the thermodynamics and geometrothermodynamics of different black hole configurations in more than four spacetime dimensions. We find the conditions under which second order phase transitions occur in higher-dimensional static Reissner-Nordström and stationary Kerr black holes. Our results indicate that the equilibrium manifold of all these black hole configurations is in general curved and that curvature singularities appear exactly at those places where second order phase transitions occur.

Geometrothermodynamics of Myers-Perry black holes

We consider the thermodynamics and Geometrothermodynamics of the Myers-Perry black holes in five dimensions for three different cases, depending on the values of the angular momenta. We follow Davies approach to study the thermodynamics of black holes and find a non-trivial thermodynamic structure in all cases, which is fully reproduced by the analysis performed with the techniques of Geometrothermodynamics. Moreover, we observe that in the cases when only one angular momentum is present or the two angular momenta are fixed to be equal, i.e. when the thermodynamic system is two dimensional, there is a complete agreement between the divergences of the generalized susceptibilities and the singularities of the equilibrium manifold, whereas when the two angular momenta are fully independent, that is, when the thermodynamic system is three dimensional, additional singularities in the curvature appear. However, we prove that such singularities are due to the changing from a stable phase to an unstable one.

More on Superconductors via Gauge/Gravity Duality with Nonlinear Maxwell Field

We have developed the recent investigations on the second-order phase transition in the holographic superconductor using the probe limit for a nonlinear Maxwell field strength coupled to a massless scalar field. By analytic methods, based on the variational Sturm- Liouville minimization technique, we study the effects of the space-time dimension and the non-linearity parameter on the critical temperature and the scalar condensation of the dual operators on the boundary. Further, as a motivated result, we analytically deduce the DC conductivity in the low and zero temperatures regime. Especially in the zero temperature limit and in two dimensional toy model, we thoroughly compute the conductivity analytically. Our work clarifies more features of the holographic superconductors both in different space dimensions and on the effect of the non-linearity in Maxwell's strength field.

Noether gauge symmetry approach in quintom cosmology

In literature usual point like symmetries of the Lagrangian have been introduced to study the symmetries and the structure of the fields. This kind of Noether symmetry is a subclass of a more general family of symmetries, called Noether Gauge Symmetries (NGS). Motivated by this mathematical tool, in this article, we discuss the generalized Noether symmetry of Quintom model of dark energy, which is a two component fluid model of quintessence and phantom fields. Our model is a generalization of the Noether symmetries of a single and multiple components which have been investigated in detail before. We found the general form of the quintom potential in which the whole dynamical system has a point like symmetry. We investigated different possible solutions of the system for diverse family of gauge function. Specially, we discovered two family of potentials, one corresponds to a free quintessence (phantom) and the second is in the form of quadratic interaction between two components. These two families of potential functions are proposed from the symmetry point of view, but in the quintom models they are used as phenomenological models without clear mathematical justification. From integrability point of view, we found two forms of the scale factor: one is power law and second is de-Sitter. Some cosmological implications of the solutions have been investigated

Noether gauge symmetry for the Bianchi type I model in f(T) gravity

In this paper, we present the Noether symmetries of a class of the Bianchi type I anisotropic model in the context of f(T) gravity. By solving the system of equations obtained from the Noether symmetry condition, we obtain the form of f(T) as a teleparallel form. This analysis shows that teleparallel gravity has the maximum number of Noether symmetries. We derive the symmetry generators and show that there are five kinds of symmetries, including time and scale invariance under metric coefficients. We classify the symmetries and we obtain the corresponding invariants.

Reconstruction of f(T) and f(R) gravity according to (m,n)-type holographic dark energy

Motivated by earlier works on reconstruction of modified gravity models with dark energy components, we extend them by considering a newly proposed model of (m, n)- type of holographic dark energy for two models of modified gravity, f(R) and f(T) theories, where R and T represent Ricci scalar and torsion scalar respectively. Specifically we reconstruct the two later gravity models and discuss their viability and cosmography. The obtained gravity models are ghost free, compatible with local solar system tests and describe effective positive gravitational constant.

Reconstruction of the equation of state for the cyclic universes in homogeneous and isotropic cosmology

We study the cosmological evolutions of the equation of state (EoS) for the universe in the homogeneous and isotropic Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) space-time. In particular, we reconstruct the cyclic universes by using the Weierstrass and Jacobian elliptic functions. It is explicitly illustrated that in several models the universe always stays in the non-phantom (quintessence) phase, whereas there also exist models in which the crossing of the phantom divide can be realized in the reconstructed cyclic universes.

Some aspects of generalized modified gravity models

In the present work, we review some general aspects of modified gravity theories, investigating mathematical and physical properties and, more specifically, the feature of viable and realistic models able to reproduce the dark energy epoch and the early-time inflation. We will discuss the black hole solutions in generalized theories of gravity: it is of fundamental interest to understand how properties and laws of black holes in General Relativity can be addressed in the framework of modified theories. In particular, we will discuss the energy issue and the possibility to derive the First Law of thermodynamics from the field equations. Then, in the analysis of cosmological solutions, we will pay a particular attention to the occurrence of finite-time future singularities and to the possibility to avoid them in $\mathcal F(R,G)$-gravity. Furthermore, realistic models of $F(R)$-gravity will be analyzed in the detail. A general feature occurring in matter era will be shown, namely the high derivatives of Hubble parameter may be influenced by the high frequency oscillation of the dark energy and some correction term is required in order to stabilize the theory at high redshift. The inflationary scenario is also carefully analyzed and an unified description of the universe is risen. In the final part of the work, we will have a look at the last developments in modified gravity, namely we will investigate cosmological and black hole solutions in a covariant field theory of gravity and we will introduce the extended "teleparallel" $F(T)$-gravity theories. A nice application to the dark matter problem will be presented.

Thermodynamics of black plane solution

We obtain a new phantom black plane solution in 4D of the Einstein-Maxwell theory coupled with a cosmological constant. We analyse their basic properties, as well as its causal structure, and obtain the extensive and intensive thermodynamic variables, as well as the specific heat and the first law. Through the specific heat and the so-called geometric methods, we analyse in detail their thermodynamic properties, the extreme and phase transition limits, as well as the local and global stabilities of the system. The normal case is shown with an extreme limit and the phantom one with a phase transition only for null mass, which is physically inaccessible. The systems present local and global stabilities for certain values of the entropy density with respect to the electric charge, for the canonical and grand canonical ensembles.

A note on the relationship between solutions of Einstein, Ramanujan and Chazy equations

The Einstein equation for the Friedmann-Robertson-Walker metric plays a fundamental role in cosmology. The direct search of the exact solutions of the Einstein equation even in this simple metric case is sometime a hard job. Therefore, it is useful to construct solutions of the Einstein equation using a known solutions of some other equations which are equivalent or related to the Einstein equation. In this work, we establish the relationship the Einstein equation with two other famous equations namely the Ramanujan equation and the Chazy equation. Both these two equations play an imporatant role in the number theory. Using the known solutions of the Ramanujan and Chazy equations, we find the corresponding solutions of the Einstein equation. The relationship between the Friedmann equation and the equations of the trefoil knot and figure-eight knot is established.

Attractor Solutions in f(T) Cosmology

In this paper, we explore the cosmological implications of interacting dark energy model in a torsion based gravity namely $f(T)$. Assuming dark energy interacts with dark matter and radiation components, we examine the stability of this model by choosing different forms of interaction terms. We consider three different forms of dark energy: cosmological constant, quintessence and phantom energy. We then obtain several attractor solutions for each dark energy model interacting with other components. This model successfully explains the coincidence problem via the interacting dark energy scenario.

Generalized Second Law of Thermodynamics for FRW Cosmology with Power-Law Entropy Correction

In this work, we have considered the power law correction of entropy on the horizon. If the flat FRW Universe is filled with the n components fluid with interactions, the GSL of thermodynamics for apparent and event horizons have been investigated for equilibrium and non-equilibrium cases. If we consider a small perturbation around the de Sitter space-time, the general conditions of the validity of GSL have been found. Also if a phantom dominated Universe has a polelike type scale factor, the validity of GSL has also been analyzed. Further we have obtained constraints on the power-law parameter α in the phantom and quintessence dominated regimes. Finally we obtain conditions under which GSL breaks down in a cosmological background.

We use two different cosmic horizons: the future event horizon and the apparent horizon. We show the conditions under which the GSL will be valid in specific scenarios of the quintessence and the phantom energy dominated eras. Further we associate two different entropies with the cosmological horizons: with a logarithmic correction term and a power-law correction term. We also find the conditions for the GSL to be satisfied or violated by imposing constraints on model parameters.

Noether Gauge Symmetry of Modified Teleparallel Gravity Minimally Coupled with a Canonical Scalar Field

This paper is devoted to the study of Noether gauge symmetries of $f(T)$ gravity minimally coupled with a canonical scalar field. We explicitly determine the unknown functions of the theory $f(T),V(ϕ), W(ϕ)$. We have shown that there are two invariants for this model, one of which defines the Hamiltonian $H$ under time invariance (energy conservation) and the other is related to scaling invariance. We show that the equation of state parameter in the present model can cross the cosmological constant boundary. The behavior of Hubble parameter in our model closely matches to that of $Λ$CDM model, thus our model is an alternative to the later.

Periodic Cosmological Evolutions of Equation of State for Dark Energy

We demonstrate two periodic or quasi-periodic generalizations of the Chaplygin gas (CG) type models to explain the origins of dark energy as well as dark matter by using the Weierstrass $\wp(t)$, $σ(t)$ and $ζ(t)$ functions with two periods being infinite. If the universe can evolve periodically, a non-singular universe can be realized. Furthermore, we examine the cosmological evolution and nature of the equation of state (EoS) of dark energy in the Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker cosmology. It is explicitly illustrated that there exist three type models in which the universe always stays in the non-phantom (quintessence) phase, whereas it always evolves in the phantom phase, or the crossing of the phantom divide can be realized. The scalar fields and the corresponding potentials are also analyzed for different types of models.

Phase space analysis of interacting dark energy in f(T) cosmology

In this paper, we examine the interacting dark energy model in $f(T)$ cosmology. We assume dark energy as a perfect fluid and choose a specific cosmologically viable form $f(T)= β\sqrt{T} $. We show that there is one attractor solution to the dynamical equation of $f(T)$ Friedmann equations. Further we investigate the stability in phase space for a general $f(T)$ model with two interacting fluids. By studying the local stability near the critical points, we show that the critical points lie on the sheet $u^*=(c-1)v^*$ in the phase space, spanned by coordinates $(u,v,Ω,T)$. From this critical sheet, we conclude that the coupling between the dark energy and matter $c\in (-2,0)$.

Power-Law Entropy Corrected Ricci Dark Energy and Dynamics of Scalar Fields

Motivated by the holographic principle, it has been suggested that the Dark Energy (DE) density can be inversely proportional to the area $A$ of the event horizon of the universe. However, this kind of model would have a casuality problem. In this work, we study the power-law entropy corrected holographic DE (PLECHDE) model in the non-flat Friedmann-Robertson-Walker universe, with the future event horizon replaced by the average radius of the Ricci scalar curvature. We derive the equation of state parameter $ω_Λ$, the deceleration parameter $q$ and the evolution of energy density parameter $Ω_D'$ in presence of interaction between DE and Dark Matter (DM). We consider the correspondence between our Ricci-PLECHDE model and the Modified Chaplygin Gas (MCG) and the tachyon, K-essence, dilaton and quintessence scalar fields. The potential and the dynamics of the scalar field models have been reconstructed according to the evolutionary behaviour of the interacting entropy-corrected holographic DE model.

Reconstruction of $f(T)$ gravity: Rip cosmology, finite-time future singularities and thermodynamics

We demonstrate that there appear finite-time future singularities in $f(T)$ gravity with $T$ being the torsion scalar. We reconstruct a model of $f(T)$ gravity with realizing the finite-time future singularities. In addition, it is explicitly shown that a power-low type correction term $T^β$ ($β>1$) such as a $T^2$ term can remove the finite-time future singularities in $f(T)$ gravity. Moreover, we study $f(T)$ models with realizing inflation in the early universe, the $Λ$CDM model, Little Rip cosmology and Pseudo-Rip cosmology. It is demonstrated that the disintegration of bound structures for Little Rip and Pseudo-Rip cosmologies occurs in the same way as in gravity with corresponding dark energy fluid. We also discuss that the time-dependent matter instability in the star collapse can occur in $f(T)$ gravity. Furthermore, we explore thermodynamics in $f(T)$ gravity and illustrate that the second law of thermodynamics can be satisfied around the finite-time future singularities for the universe with the temperature inside the horizon being the same as that of the apparent horizon.

Stability of a non-minimally conformally coupled scalar field in F(T) cosmology

In this paper, we introduce a non-minimally conformally coupled scalar field and dark matter in F(T) cosmology and study their dynamics. We investigate the stability and phase space behavior of the parameters of the scalar field by choosing an exponential potential and cosmologically viable form of F(T). We found that the dynamical system of equations admits two unstable critical points; thus no attractor solutions exist in this cosmology. Furthermore, taking into account the scalar field mimicking quintessence and phantom energy, we discuss the corresponding cosmic evolution for both small and large times. We investigate the cosmological implications of the model via the equation of state and deceleration parameters of our model and show that the late-time Universe will be dominated by phantom energy and, moreover, phantom crossing is possible. Thermodynamics of a Schwarzschild Black Hole in Phantom Cosmology with Entropy Corrections

Motivated by some earlier works \cite{pavon,sadjadi} dealing with the study of generalized second law (GSL) of thermodynamics for a system comprising of a Schwarzschild black accreting a test non-self-gravitating fluid namely phantom energy in FRW universe, we extend them when the entropy of horizons of black hole and the cosmological undergo quantum corrections. Two types of such corrections are relevant here including logarithmic and power-law, while both are motivated from different theoretical backgrounds. We obtain general mathematical conditions for the validity of GSL in each case. Further we find that GSL restricts the mass of black hole for accretion of phantom energy. We have analyzed the GSL using a power-law form of scale factor $a(t)=a_0t^n$ and the special form of shape function $b(r)=\frac{b_{0}}{r}$. It is shown that GSL is valid in the evolving wormhole spacetime for both choices of entropies if the power-law exponent is small, but for large values of $n$, the GSL is satisfied at initial stage and after certain stage of the evolution of the wormhole, it violates.

Dark energy in some integrable and nonintegrable FRW cosmological models

One of the greatest challenges in cosmology today is to determine the nature of dark energy, the sourse of the observed present acceleration of the Universe. Besides the vacuum energy, various dark energy models have been suggested. The Friedmann - Robertson - Walker (FRW) spacetime plays an important role in modern cosmology. In particular, the most popular models of dark energy work in the FRW spacetime. In this work, a new class of integrable FRW cosmological models is presented. These models induced by the well-known Painlev$\acute{e}$ equations. Some nonintegrable FRW models are also considered. These last models are constructed with the help of Pinney, Schr$\ddot{o}$dinger and hypergeometric equations. On the stability of spherically symmetric and wormhole solutions supported by the sine-Gordon ghost scalar field

In this paper we investigate wormhole and spherically symmetric solutions in 4D gravity plus a matter source consisting of a ghost scalar field with a sine-Gordon potential. For the wormhole solutions we also include the possibility of electric and/or magnetic charges. For both types of solutions we perform a linear stability analysis and show that the wormhole solutions are stable and that when one turns on the electric and/or magnetic field the solution remains stable. The linear stability analysis of the spherically symmetric solutions indicates that they can be stable or unstable depending on one of the parameters of the system. This result for the spherically symmetric solution is nontrivial since a previous investigation of 4D gravity plus a ghost scalar field with a $λϕ^4$ interaction found only unstable spherically symmetric solutions. Both the wormhole and spherically symmetric solutions presented here asymptotically go to anti-de-Sitter space-time.
