Ill-posedness of Naiver-Stokes equations and critical Besov-Morrey spaces

The blow up phenomenon in the first step of the classical Picard's scheme was proved in this paper. For certain initial spaces, Bourgain-Pavlović and Yoneda proved the ill-posedness of the Navier-Stokes equations by showing the norm inflation in certain solution spaces. But Chemin and Gallagher said the space $\dot{B}^{-1,\infty}_{\infty}$ seems to be optimal for some solution spaces best chosen. In this paper, we consider more general initial spaces than Bourgain-Pavlović and Yoneda did and establish ill-posedness result independent of the choice of solution space. Our result is a complement of the previous ill-posedness results on Navier-Stokes equations.

Symmetry and rigidity: Only one kind of symmetry allow non-zero real symmetric solution

Leray guessed that, a blow-up solution should have similar structure as its initial data and proposed to consider self-similar solution. But Necas-Ruzicka-Sverak proved in 1996 that such solution should be zero. That is to say, Navier-Stokes equations have rigidity for self-similar structure. Recently, Yang-Yang-Wu found that the symmetry property plays an important role in the proof of ill-posedness result. Further, Yang applied Fourier transformation to consider symmetric solutions. He has shown that a party of symmetric solution should be zero and there exists some symmetric property can result in symmetric solution. In this paper, we consider the symmetry related to the independent variables of initial data and we analyze the symmetric structure of non-linear term. (i) We have found out what kinds of symmetric properties can generate symmetric solutions and we have also proved that the rest symmetric properties allow only zero solutions in some sense. For real initial data, we prove there exists only one kind of symmetry can generate non-zero symmetric solution. (ii) Further, to understand the structure of $B(u,v)$, we show it is sufficient to consider all the symmetric cases. (iii) Thirdly, we establish the well-posedness for some big initial values. (iv) Lastly, we apply such symmetric result to the Navier-Stokes equations on the domain and we prove the existence of smooth solution with energy conservation.

Characterization of inclusion relations between wiener amalgam and some classical spaces

In this paper, we establish the sharp conditions for the inclusion relations between Besov spaces $B_{p,q}$ and Wiener amalgam spaces $W_{p,q}^s$. We also obtain the optimal inclusion relations between local hardy spaces $h^p$ and Wiener amalgam spaces $W_{p,q}^s$, which completely improve and extend the main results obtained by Cunanana, Kobayashib and Sugimotoa in [J. Funct. Anal. 268 (2015), 239-254]. In addition, we establish some mild characterizations of inclusion relations between Triebel-Lizorkin and Wiener amalgam spaces, which relates some modern inequalities to classical inequalities.

Fefferman-Stein decomposition for $Q$-spaces and micro-local quantities

In this paper, we consider the Fefferman-Stein decomposition of $Q_α(\mathbb{R}^{n})$ and give an affirmative answer to an open problem posed by M. Essen, S. Janson, L. Peng and J. Xiao in 2000. One of our main methods is to study the structure of the predual space of $Q_α(\mathbb{R}^{n})$ by the micro-local quantities. This result indicates that the norm of the predual space of $Q_α(\mathbb{R}^{n})$ depends on the micro-local structure in a self-correlation way.

Riesz Transform Characterization and Fefferman-Stein Decomposition of Triebel-Lizorkin Spaces

Let $D\in\mathbb{N}$, $q\in[2,\infty)$ and $(\mathbb{R}^D,|\cdot|,dx)$ be the Euclidean space equipped with the $D$-dimensional Lebesgue measure. In this article, via an auxiliary function space $\mathrm{WE}^{1,\,q}(\mathbb R^D)$ defined via wavelet expansions, the authors establish the Riesz transform characterization of Triebel-Lizorkin spaces $\dot{F}^0_{1,\,q}(\mathbb{R}^D)$. As a consequence, the authors obtain the Fefferman-Stein decomposition of Triebel-Lizorkin spaces $\dot{F}^0_{\infty,\,q'}(\mathbb{R}^D)$. Finally, the authors give an explicit example to show that $\dot{F}^0_{1,\,q}(\mathbb{R}^D)$ is strictly contained in $\mathrm{WE}^{1,\,q}(\mathbb{R}^D)$ and, by duality, $\mathrm{WE}^{\infty,\,q'}(\mathbb{R}^D)$ is strictly contained in $\dot{F}^0_{\infty,\,q'}(\mathbb{R}^D)$. Although all results when $D=1$ were obtained by C.-C. Lin et al. [Michigan Math. J. 62 (2013), 691-703], as was pointed out by C.-C. Lin et al., the approach used in the case $D=1$ can not be applied to the case $D\ge2$, which needs some new skills.

Wavelets and Triebel type oscillation spaces

We apply wavelets to identify the Triebel type oscillation spaces with the known Triebel-Lizorkin-Morrey spaces $\dot{F}^{γ_1,γ_2}_{p,q}(\mathbb{R}^{n})$. Then we establish a characterization of $\dot{F}^{γ_1,γ_2}_{p,q}(\mathbb{R}^{n})$ via the fractional heat semigroup. Moreover, we prove the continuity of Calderón-Zygmund operators on these spaces. The results of this paper also provide necessary tools for the study of well-posedness of Navier-Stokes equations.

Wavelets, Multiplier spaces and application to Schrödinger type operators with non-smooth potentials

In this paper, we employ Meyer wavelets to characterize multiplier spaces between Sobolev spaces without using capacity. Further, we introduce logarithmic Morrey spaces $M^{t,τ}_{r,p}(\mathbb{R}^{n})$ to establish the inclusion relation between Morrey spaces and multiplier spaces. By wavelet characterization and fractal skills, we construct a counterexample to show that the scope of the index $τ$ of $M^{t,τ}_{r,p}(\mathbb{R}^{n})$ is sharp. As an application, we consider a Schrödinger type operator with potentials in $M^{t,τ}_{r,p}(\mathbb{R}^{n})$.
