Mean Reflected Stochastic Differential Equations with Jumps

This paper is devoted to the study of reflected Stochastic Differential Equations with jumps when the constraint is not on the paths of the solution but acts on the law of the solution. This type of reflected equations have been introduced recently by Briand, Elie and Hu [BEH18] in the context of BSDEs, when no jumps occur. In [BCdRGL16], the authors study a numerical scheme based on particle systems to approximate these reflected SDEs. In this paper, we prove existence and uniqueness of solutions to this kind of reflected SDEs with jumps and we generalize the results obtained in [BCdRGL16] to this context.

On the uniqueness of solutions to quadratic BSDEs with non-convex generators

In this paper we prove some uniqueness results for quadratic backward stochastic differential equations without any convexity assumptions on the generator. The bounded case is revisited while some new results are obtained in the unbounded case when the terminal condition and the generator depend on the path of a forward stochastic differential equation. Some of these results are based on strong estimates on $Z$ that are interesting on their own and could be applied in other situations.

Particles Systems and Numerical Schemes for Mean Reflected Stochastic Differential Equations

This paper is devoted to the study of reflected Stochastic Differential Equations when the constraint is not on the paths of the solution but acts on the law of the solution. These reflected equations have been introduced recently by Briand, Elie and Hu (arXiv:1605.06301) in the context of risk measures. Our main objective is to provide an approximation of solutions to these reflected SDEs with the help of interacting particles systems. This approximation allows to design a numerical scheme for this kind of equations.

BSDEs with mean reflection

In this paper, we study a new type of BSDE, where the distribution of the Y-component of the solution is required to satisfy an additional constraint, written in terms of the expectation of a loss function. This constraint is imposed at any deterministic time t and is typically weaker than the classical pointwise one associated to reflected BSDEs. Focusing on solutions (Y, Z, K) with deterministic K, we obtain the well-posedness of such equation, in the presence of a natural Skorokhod type condition. Such condition indeed ensures the minimality of the enhanced solution, under an additional structural condition on the driver. Our results extend to the more general framework where the constraint is written in terms of a static risk measure on Y. In particular, we provide an application to the super hedging of claims under running risk management constraint.

Simulation of BSDEs by Wiener chaos expansion

We present an algorithm to solve BSDEs based on Wiener chaos expansion and Picard's iterations. We get a forward scheme where the conditional expectations are easily computed thanks to chaos decomposition formulas. We use the Malliavin derivative to compute $Z$. Concerning the error, we derive explicit bounds with respect to the number of chaos and the discretization time step. We also present numerical experiments. We obtain very encouraging results in terms of speed and accuracy.

An asymptotical method to estimate the parameters of a deteriorating system under condition-based maintenance

In this paper, we develop a new method to estimate the parameters of a deteriorating system under perfect condition-based maintenance. This method is based on the asymptotical behavior of the system, which is studied by using the renewal process theory. We obtain a Central Limit Theorem (CLT in the following) for the parameters. We compare the accuracy and the speed of the method with the maximum likelihood one (ML method in the following) on different examples.

Quadratic BSDEs with convex generators and unbounded terminal conditions

In a previous work, we proved an existence result for BSDEs with quadratic generators with respect to the variable z and with unbounded terminal conditions. However, no uniqueness result was stated in that work. The main goal of this paper is to fill this gap. In order to obtain a comparison theorem for this kind of BSDEs, we assume that the generator is convex with respect to the variable z. Under this assumption of convexity, we are also able to prove a stability result in the spirit of the a priori estimates stated in the article of N. El Karoui, S. Peng and M.-C. Quenez. With these tools in hands, we can derive the nonlinear Feynman--Kac formula in this context.

Quadratic BSDEs with random terminal time and elliptic PDEs in infinite dimension

In this paper we study one dimensional backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs) with random terminal time not necessarily bounded or finite when the generator F(t,Y,Z) has a quadratic growth in Z. We provide existence and uniqueness of a bounded solution of such BSDEs and, in the case of infinite horizon, regular dependence on parameters. The obtained results are then applied to prove existence and uniqueness of a mild solution to elliptic partial differential equations in Hilbert spaces.
