Second order continuous and discrete dynamical systems for solving inverse quasi-variational inequalities

In this paper, we investigate the inverse quasi-variational inequality problem in finite-dimensional spaces. First, we introduce a second-order dynamical system whose trajectory converges exponentially to the solution of the inverse quasi-variational inequality, under the assumptions of Lipschitz continuity and strong monotonicity. Next, we discretize the proposed dynamical system to develop an algorithm, and prove that the iterations converge linearly to the unique solution of the inverse quasi-variational inequality. Finally, we present numerical experiments and applications to validate the theoretical results and compare the performance with existing methods.

Real Symmetric, Unitary, And Complex Symmetric Weighted Composition Operators On Bergman Spaces Of Polydisk

In this paper, we study weighted composition operators on Bergman spaces of analytic functions which are square integrable on polydisk. We develop the study in full generality, meaning that the corresponding weighted composition operators are not assumed to be bounded. The properties of weighted composition operators such as real symmetry, unitariness, complex symmetry, are characterized fully in simple algebraic terms, involving their symbols. As it turns out, a weighted composition operator having a symmetric structure must be bounded. We also obtain the interesting consequence that real symmetric weighted composition operators are complex symmetric corresponding an adapted and highly relevant conjugation.

Complex symmetric evolution equations

We study certain dynamical systems which leave invariant an indefinite quadratic form via semigroups or evolution families of complex symmetric Hilbert space operators. In the setting of bounded operators we show that a $\mathcal{C}$-selfadjoint operator generates a contraction $C_0$-semigroup if and only if it is dissipative. In addition, we examine the abstract Cauchy problem for nonautonomous linear differential equations possessing a complex symmetry. In the unbounded operator framework we isolate the class of \emph{complex symmetric, unbounded semigroups} and investigate Stone-type theorems adapted to them. On Fock space realization, we characterize all $\mathcal{C}$-selfadjoint, unbounded weighted composition semigroups. As a byproduct we prove that the generator of a $\mathcal{C}$-selfadjoint, unbounded semigroup is not necessarily $\mathcal{C}$-selfadjoint.

Complex symmetry of first-order differential operators on Hardy space

Given holomorphic functions $ψ_0$ and $ψ_1$, we consider first-order differential operators acting on Hardy space, generated by the formal differential expression $E(ψ_0,ψ_1)f(z)=ψ_0(z)f(z)+ψ_1(z)f'(z)$. We characterize these operators which are complex symmetric with respect to weighted composition conjugations. In parallel, as a basis of comparison, a characterization for differential operators which are hermitian is carried out. Especially, it is shown that hermitian differential operators are contained properly in the class of $\calC$-selfadjoint differential operators. The calculation of the point spectrum of some of these operators is performed in detail.
