Hyperfine structure of P states in muonic ions of lithium, beryllium and boron

We calculate hyperfine structure intervals ΔEhfs(2P1/2)ΔE^{hfs}(2P_{1/2}) and ΔEhfs(2P3/2)ΔE^{hfs}(2P_{3/2}) for P-states in muonic ions of lithium, beryllium and boron. To construct the particle interaction operator in momentum space we use the tensor method of projection operators on states with definite quantum numbers of total atomic momentum F and total muon momentum j. We take into account vacuum polarization, relativistic, quadruple and structure corrections of orders α4α^4, α5α^5 and α6α^6. The obtained numerical values of hyperfine splittings can be used for a comparison with future experimental data of the CREMA collaboration.

Nonrelativistic energies and predissociation widths of quasibound states in the Lidμdμ molecular ions

Muonic molecular ions 6^6Li3+dμ^{3+}dμ and 7^7Li3+dμ^{3+}dμ are studied numerically. Using the complex coordinate rotation method we found six rotational states (three for each isotope), which are resonant states with the life-time of an order of picoseconds. These molecular systems may be of interest for studying low-energy fusion reactions. A key quantity, ∣Ψ(0)∣2|Ψ(0)|^2, the wave function squared at the coalescence point of the nuclei is calculated for SS states for both isotopes with a precision better than 3\%.

Lamb shift in muonic ions of lithium, beryllium and boron

We present a precise calculation of the Lamb shift (2P1/2−2S1/2)(2P_{1/2}-2S_{1/2}) in muonic ions (μ36Li)2+, (μ37Li)2+(μ^6_3Li)^{2+},~(μ^7_3Li)^{2+}, (μ49Be)3+, (μ410Be)3+(μ^9_4Be)^{3+},~(μ^{10}_4Be)^{3+}, (μ510B)4+, (μ511B)4+(μ^{10}_5B)^{4+},~(μ^{11}_5B)^{4+}. The contributions of orders α3÷α6α^3\divα^6 to the vacuum polarization, nuclear structure and recoil, relativistic effects are taken into account. Our numerical results are consistent with previous calculations and improve them due to account of new corrections. The obtained results can be used for the comparison with future experimental data, and extraction more accurate values of nuclear charge radii.
