Ground state hyperfine structure of light muon-electron ions

The ground state hyperfine splitting of light muon-electron ions of lithium, beryllium, boron and helium is calculated on the basis of analytical perturbation theory in terms of small parameters of the fine structure constant and electron-muon mass ratio. The corrections of vacuum polarization, nuclear structure and recoil effects and electron vertex corrections are taken into account. The dependence of the corrections on the nucleus charge Z is studied. The obtained total values of hyperfine splitting intervals can be used for comparison with future experimental data.

Higgs boson decay to the pair of S- and P-wave $B_c$ mesons

We investigate the rare production of the pair of $S-$ and $P-$ wave $B_c$-meson in the Higgs boson decay in the perturbative Standard Model and relativistic quark model. Relativistic amplitudes and decay widths are constructed with the account of the relative motion of heavy quarks forming $B_c$ mesons. When constructing the Higgs boson decay amplitudes, the method of projection operators on the $S-$ and $P-$wave states of quarks is used. Relativistic corrections are expressed in terms of special relativistic parameters and are calculated numerically in the quark model. The dependence of the decay widths of the Higgs boson on various sources of relativistic corrections is investigated.

Energy interval 3S-1S in muonic hydrogen

The energy interval $ (3S-1S) $ in muonic hydrogen is calculated on the basis of quasipotential approach in quantum electrodynamics. We take into account different corrections of orders $α^3÷α^6 $, which are determined by relativistic effects, the effects of vacuum polarization, nuclear structure and recoil, as well as combined corrections including the above. Nuclear structure effects are expressed in terms of the charge radius of the proton in the case of one-photon interaction and the proton electromagnetic form factors in the case of two-photon exchange interaction. The value of the energy interval (3S-1S) can be used for a comparison with future experimental data and determining the proton charge radius with greater accuracy.

Photonic production of the pair of $B_c$ mesons

We study the pair production of $B_c$ mesons in the photon-photon interaction in the framework of perturbative quantum chromodynamics and the relativistic quark model. The production amplitudes of a pair of pseudoscalar and vector $B_c$ mesons are constructed in the nonrelativistic approximation and taking into account relativistic effects. Relativistic corrections related to the relative motion of heavy quarks in the production amplitude, as well as in the wave function of the bound state of heavy quarks, are taken into account. Analytical expressions are constructed for the relativistic differential and total cross sections for the pair $B_c$ meson production. Based on them, numerical values of the production cross sections are obtained for various energies and scattering angles.

We calculate hyperfine structure intervals $ΔE^{hfs}(2P_{1/2})$ and $ΔE^{hfs}(2P_{3/2})$ for P-states in muonic ions of lithium, beryllium and boron. To construct the particle interaction operator in momentum space we use the tensor method of projection operators on states with definite quantum numbers of total atomic momentum F and total muon momentum j. We take into account vacuum polarization, relativistic, quadruple and structure corrections of orders $α^4$, $α^5$ and $α^6$. The contributions of orders $α^3\divα^6$ to the vacuum polarization, nuclear structure and recoil, relativistic effects are taken into account. Our numerical results are consistent with previous calculations and improve them due to account of new corrections. The obtained results can be used for the comparison with future experimental data, and extraction more accurate values of nuclear charge radii.

Relativistic corrections to the pair $B_c$-meson production in $e^+e^-$ annihilation

Relativistic corrections to the pair $B_c$-meson production in $e^+e^-$-annihilation are calculated. We investigate a production of pair pseudoscalar, vector and pseudoscalar+vector $B_c$-mesons in the leading order perturbative quantum chromodynamics and relativistic quark model. Relativistic expressions of the pair production cross sections are obtained. Their numerical evaluation shows that relativistic effects in the production amplitudes and bound state wave functions three times reduce nonrelativistic results at the center-of-mass energy s=22 GeV.

Pair double heavy diquark production in high energy proton-proton collisions

On the basis of perturbative QCD and relativistic quark model we calculate relativistic and bound state corrections in the production processes of a pair of double heavy diquarks. Relativistic factors in the production amplitude connected with the relative motion of heavy quarks and the transformation law of the bound state wave function to the reference frame of the moving S-wave diquark bound states are taken into account. For the gluon and quark propagators entering the amplitudes we use a truncated expansion in relative quark momenta up to the second order. Relativistic corrections to the quark-quark bound state wave functions in the rest frame are considered by means of the Breit-like potential. It turns out that the examined effects significantly decrease nonrelativistic cross sections.

Hyperfine structure of the ground state muonic He-3 atom

On the basis of the perturbation theory in the fine structure constant $α$ and the ratio of the electron to muon masses we calculate one-loop vacuum polarization and electron vertex corrections and the nuclear structure corrections to the hyperfine splitting of the ground state of muonic helium atom $(μ e \ ^3_2He)$. Relativistic effects in the double S- and P-wave charmonium production in e^+e^- annihilation

On the basis of perturbative QCD and the relativistic quark model we calculate relativistic and bound state corrections in the production processes of a pair of S-wave and P-wave charmonium states. Relativistic factors in the production amplitude connected with the relative motion of heavy quarks and the transformation law of the bound state wave function to the reference frame of the moving S- and P-wave mesons are taken into account. For the gluon and quark propagators entering the production vertex function we use a truncated expansion in the ratio of the relative quark momenta to the center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}$ up to the second order. The exact relativistic treatment of the wave functions makes all such second order terms convergent, thus allowing the reliable calculation of their contributions to the production cross section. Relativistic corrections to the quark bound state wave functions in the rest frame are considered by means of the Breit-like potential. It turns out that the examined effects change essentially the nonrelativistic results of the cross section for the reaction $e^++e^-\to J/Ψ(η_c)+χ_{cJ}(h_c)$ at the center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}=10.6$ GeV.

Magnetic moment of the two-particle bound state in quantum electrodynamics

We have formulated the quasipotential method for the calculation of the relativistic and radiative corrections to the magnetic moment of the two-particle bound state in the case of particles with arbitrary spin.
