Commutativity preservers of incidence algebras

Let $I(X,K)$ be the incidence algebra of a finite connected poset $X$ over a field $K$ and $D(X,K)$ its subalgebra consisting of diagonal elements. We describe the bijective linear maps $φ:I(X,K)\to I(X,K)$ that strongly preserve the commutativity and satisfy $φ(D(X,K))=D(X,K)$. We prove that such a map $φ$ is a composition of a commutativity preserver of shift type and a commutativity preserver associated to a quadruple $(θ,σ,c,κ)$ of simpler maps $θ$, $σ$, $c$ and a sequence $κ$ of elements of $K$.

Linear maps preserving products equal to primitive idempotents of an incidence algebra

Let $A$, $B$ be algebras and $a\in A$, $b\in B$ a fixed pair of elements. We say that a map $φ:A\to B$ preserves products equal to $a$ and $b$ if for all $a_1,a_2\in A$ the equality $a_1a_2=a$ implies $φ(a_1)φ(a_2)=b$. In this paper we study bijective linear maps $φ:I(X,F)\to I(X,F)$ preserving products equal to primitive idempotents of $I(X,F)$, where $I(X,F)$ is the incidence algebra of a finite connected poset $X$ over a field $F$. We fully characterize the situation, when such a map $φ$ exists, and whenever it does, $φ$ is either an automorphism of $I(X,F)$ or the negative of an automorphism of $I(X,F)$.

The algebraic and geometric classification of nilpotent anticommutative algebras

We give algebraic and geometric classifications of $6$-dimensional complex nilpotent anticommutative algebras. Specifically, we find that, up to isomorphism, there are $14$ one-parameter families of $6$-dimensional nilpotent anticommutative algebras, complemented by $130$ additional isomorphism classes. The corresponding geometric variety is irreducible and determined by the Zariski closure of a one-parameter family of algebras. In particular, there are no rigid $6$-dimensional complex nilpotent anticommutative algebras.

The geometric classification of nilpotent $\mathfrak{CD}$-algebras

We give a geometric classification of complex $4$-dimensional nilpotent $\mathfrak{CD}$-algebras. The corresponding geometric variety has dimension 18 and decomposes into $2$ irreducible components determined by the Zariski closures of a two-parameter family of algebras and a four-parameter family of algebras (see Theorem 2). In particular, there are no rigid $4$-dimensional complex nilpotent $\mathfrak{CD}$-algebras.

The third partial cohomology group and existence of extensions of semilattices of groups by groups

We introduce the concept of a partial abstract kernel associated to a group G and a semilattice of groups A and relate the partial cohomology group H^3(G,C(A)) with the obstructions to the existence of admissible extensions of A by G which realize the given abstract kernel. We also show that if such extensions exist then they are classified by H^2(G,C(A)).
