Lipschitz p-summing multilinear operators correspond to Lipschitz p-summing operators

We give conditions that ensure that an operator satisfying a Piestch domination in a given setting also satisfies a Piestch domination in a different setting. From this we derive that a bounded mutlilinear operator $T$ is Lipschitz $p$-summing if and only if the mapping $ f_T(x_1\otimes\cdots \otimes x_n):=T(x_1,\ldots, x_n)$ is Lipschitz $p$-summing. The results are based on the projective tensor norm. An example with the Hilbert tensor norm is provided to show that the statement may not hold when a reasonable cross-norm other than the projective tensor norm is considered.

Lipschitz $p$-summing multilinear operators

We apply the geometric approach provided by $Σ$-operators to develop a theory of $p$-summability for multilinear operators. In this way, we introduce the notion of Lipschitz $p$-summing multilinear operators and show that it is consistent with a general panorama of generalization: Namely, they satisfy Pietsch-type domination and factorization theorems and generalizations of the inclusion Theorem, Grothendieck's coincidence Theorems, the weak Dvoretsky-Rogers Theorem and a Lindenstrauss-Pelczyńsky Theorem. We also characterize this new class in tensorial terms by means of a Chevet-Saphar-type tensor norm. Moreover, we introduce the notion of Dunford-Pettis multilinear operators. With them, we characterize when a projective tensor product contains $\ell_1$. Relations between Lipschitz $p$-summing multilinear operators with Dunford-Pettis and Hilbert-Schmidt multilinear operators are given.

A General Theory of Tensor Products of Convex Sets in Euclidean Spaces

We introduce both the notions of tensor product of convex bodies that contain zero in the interior, and of tensor product of $0$-symmetric convex bodies in Euclidean spaces. We prove that there is a bijection between tensor products of $0$-symmetric convex bodies and tensor norms on finite dimensional spaces. This bijection preserves duality, injectivity and projectivity. We obtain a formulation of Grothendieck`s Theorem for $0$-symmetric convex bodies and use it to give a geometric representation (up to the $K_G$-constant) of the Hilbertian tensor product. We see that the property of having enough symmetries is preserved by these tensor products, and exhibit relations with the Löwner and the John ellipsoids.

Bilinear Ideals in Operator Spaces

We introduce a concept of bilinear ideal of jointly completely bounded mappings between operator spaces. In particular, we study the bilinear ideals $\mathcal{N}$ of completely nuclear, $\mathcal{I }$ of completely integral, $\mathcal{E}$ of completely extendible bilinear mappings, $\mathcal{MB}$ multiplicatively bounded and its symmetrization $\mathcal{SMB}$. We prove some basic properties of them, one of which is the fact that $\mathcal{I}$ is naturally identified with the ideal of (linear) completely integral mappings on the injective operator space tensor product.
