C1,αC^{1,α} regularity for quasilinear parabolic equations with nonstandard growth

In this paper, we obtain C1,αC^{1,α} estimates for weak solutions of certain quasilinear parabolic equations satisfying nonstandard growth conditions, the prototype examples being ut−div(∣∇u∣p−2∇u+a(t)∣∇u∣q−2∇u)=0,u_t - \text{div} (|\nabla u|^{p-2} \nabla u + a(t)|\nabla u|^{q-2} \nabla u) = 0, ut−div(∣∇u∣p(t)−2∇u)=0.u_t - \text{div} (|\nabla u|^{p(t)-2} \nabla u) = 0. under the assumption that the solutions a priori have bounded gradient. We build on the recently developed scaling and covering argument which allows us to consider the singular and degenerate cases in a uniform manner and with minimal regularity requirements on the phase switching factor a(t)a(t) and the variable exponent p(t)p(t). Moreover, we are able to take any p≤q<∞p \leq q < \infty to obtain the desired regularity.

Borderline Lipschitz regularity for bounded minimizers of functionals with (p,q)-growth

We prove local Lipschitz regularity for bounded minimizers of functionals with nonstandard p,qp,q-growth with the source term in the Lorentz space L(N,1)L(N,1) under the restriction q<p+1+p min⁡{1N,2(p−1)Np−2p+2}q<p+1+p\,\min\left\{\frac 1N,\frac{2(p-1)}{Np-2p+2}\right\}. This extends the recent work by Beck-Mingione to bounded minimizers under weaker hypothesis and is sharp for some special ranges of pp, qq and NN.

Unified approach to C1,αC^{1,α} regularity for quasilinear parabolic equations

In this paper, we are interested in obtaining a unified approach for C1,αC^{1,α} estimates for weak solutions of quasilinear parabolic equations, the prototype example being ut−div(∣∇u∣p−2∇u)=0. u_t - \text{div} (|\nabla u|^{p-2} \nabla u) = 0. without having to consider the singular and degenerate cases separately. This is achieved via a new scaling and a delicate adaptation of the covering argument developed by E.~DiBenedetto and A.~Friedman.

Global Lorentz and Lorentz-Morrey estimates below the natural exponent for quasilinear equations

Lorentz and Lorentz-Morrey estimates are obtained for gradients of very weak solutions to quasilinear equations of the form div A(x,∇u)=div ∣f∣p−2f,\text{div}\,\mathcal{A}(x, \nabla u)=\text{div}\, |{\bf f}|^{p-2}{\bf f}, where div A(x,∇u)\text{div}\,\mathcal{A}(x, \nabla u) is modelled after the pp-Laplacian, p>1p>1. The estimates are global over bounded domains that satisfy a mild exterior uniform thickness condition that involves the pp-capacity. The vector field datum f{\bf f} is allowed to have low degrees of integrability and thus solutions may not have finite LpL^p energy. A higher integrability result at the boundary of the ground domain is also obtained for infinite energy solutions to the associated homogeneous equations.
