An introduction of Berezin sectorial operators and its application to Berezin number inequalities

We introduce a new class of operators, called Berezin sectorial operators, which generalizes classical sectorial operators. We provide examples on the Hardy-Hilbert space showing that there exist operators that are Berezin sectorial but not sectorial and that the Berezin sectorial index can be strictly smaller than the classical one. We derive Berezin number inequalities for this class, including a weak version of the power inequality, and study geometric properties of the Berezin range for finite-rank and weighted shift operators on the Dirichlet space. We also raise the question of whether similar constructions are possible for composition-differentiation operators on the Dirichlet space.

Davis-Wielandt-Berezin radius inequalities of Reproducing kernel Hilbert space operators

Several upper and lower bounds of the Davis-Wielandt-Berezin radius of bounded linear operators defined on a reproducing kernel Hilbert space are given. Further, an inequality involving the Berezin number and the Davis-Wielandt-Berezin radius for the sum of two bounded linear operators is obtained, namely, if AA and BB are reproducing kernel Hilbert space operators, then η(A+B)≤η(A)+η(B)+ber(A∗B+B∗A),η(A+B) \leq η(A)+η(B)+\textbf{ber}(A^*B+B^*A), where η(⋅)η(\cdot) and ber(⋅)\textbf{ber}(\cdot) are the Davis-Wielandt-Berezin radius and the Berezin number, respectively.

On subspaces of ℓ∞\ell_\infty and extreme contraction in L(X,ℓ∞n)\mathbb{L}(\mathbb{X}, \ell_{\infty}^n)

We investigate different possiblities of subspaces of the space ℓ∞\ell_{\infty} in terms of whether the subspaces are polyhedral or not. We further study finite-dimensional subspaces of ℓ∞\ell_{\infty} which are of the form ℓ∞n\ell_\infty^n form some n≥2. n \geq 2. As an application of the results we compute the number of extreme contractions for a class of the space of bounded linear operators. In particular we find the number of extreme contractions of L(X,ℓ∞n),\mathbb{L}(\mathbb{X}, \ell_{\infty}^n), where X\mathbb{X} is a finite-dimensional polyhedral space.

On generalized Davis-Wielandt radius inequalities of semi-Hilbertian space operators

Let AA be a positive (semidefinite) operator on a complex Hilbert space H\mathcal{H} and let A=(AOOA).\mathbb{A}=\left(\begin{array}{cc} A & O O & A \end{array}\right). We obtain upper and lower bounds for the AA-Davis-Wielandt radius of semi-Hilbertian space operators, which generalize and improve on the existing ones. We also obtain upper bounds for the A\mathbb{A}-Davis-Wielandt radius of 2×22 \times 2 operator matrices. Finally, we determine the exact value for the A\mathbb{A}-Davis-Wielandt radius of two operator matrices (IX00)\left(\begin{array}{cc} I & X\\ 0 & 0 \end{array}\right) and (0X00)\left(\begin{array}{cc} 0 & X\\ 0 & 0 \end{array}\right), where XX is a semi-Hilbertian space operator.

On numerical radius and Crawford number attainment sets of a bounded linear operator

We completely characterize the Crawford number attainment set and the numerical radius attainment set of a bounded linear operator on a Hilbert space. We study the intersection properties of the corresponding attainment sets of numerical radius, Crawford number, norm, minimum norm of a bounded linear operator defined on a normed space. Our study illustrates the similarities and the differences of the extremal properties of a bounded linear operator on a Hilbert space and a general normed space.

Refinements of A-numerical radius inequalities and their applications

We present sharp lower bounds for the A-numerical radius of semi-Hilbertian space operators. We also present an upper bound. Further we compute new upper bounds for the BB-numerical radius of 2×22 \times 2 operator matrices where B=diag(A,A)B = \textit{diag}(A,A), AA being a positive operator. As an application of the A-numerical radius inequalities, we obtain a bound for the zeros of a polynomial which is quite a bit improvement of some famous existing bounds for the zeros of polynomials.

Some remarks on orthogonality of bounded linear operators

We explore the relation between the orthogonality of bounded linear operators in the space of operators and that of elements in the ground space. To be precise, we study if T,A∈L(X,Y) T, A \in \mathbb{L}(\mathbb{X}, \mathbb{Y}) satisfy T⊥BA, T \bot_B A, then whether there exists x∈X x \in \mathbb{X} such that Tx⊥BAx Tx\bot_B Ax with ∥x∥=1,∥Tx∥=∥T∥ \|x\| =1, \|Tx\| = \|T\|, where X,Y\mathbb{X}, \mathbb{Y} are normed linear spaces. In this context, we introduce the notion of Property Pn P_n for a Banach space and illustrate its connection with orthogonality of a bounded linear operator between Banach spaces. We further study Property Pn P_n for various polyhedral Banach spaces.

J-Frame Sequences in Krein Space

Let {fn:n∈N}\{f_n:n\in\mathbb{N}\} be a JJ-frame for a Krein space K{\textbf{\textit{K}}} and PMP_M be a JJ-orthogonal projection from K{\textbf{\textit{K}}} onto a subspace MM. In this article we find sufficient conditions under which {PM(fn):n∈N}\{P_M(f_n):n\in\mathbb{N}\} is a JJ-frame for PMKP_M\textbf{\textit{K}} and {(I−PM)fn}n∈N\{(I-P_M)f_n\}_{n\in{\mathbb{N}}} is a JJ-frame for (I−PM)K(I-P_M)\textbf{\textit{K}}. We also introduce JJ-frame sequence for a Krein space K{\textbf{\textit{K}}} and study some properties of JJ-frame sequence analogues to Hilbert space frame theory.
