Global well-posedness and regularity of 3D Burgers equation with multiplicative noise

In this paper, we develop low regularity theory for 3D Burgers equation perturbed by a linear multiplicative stochastic force. This method is new and essentially different from the deterministic partial differential equations(PDEs). Our results and method can be widely applied to other stochastic hydrodynamic equations and the deterministic PDEs. As a further study, we establish a random version of maximum principle for random 3D Burgers equations, which will be an important tool for the study of 3D stochastic Burgers equations. As we know establishing moment estimates for highly nonlinear stochastic hydrodynamic equations is difficult. But moment estimates are very important for us to study the probabilistic properties and long-time behavior for the stochastic systems. Here, the random maximum principle helps us to achieve some important moment estimates for 3D stochastic Burgers equations and lays a solid foundation for the further study of 3D stochastic Burgers equations.

Large deviation principles for first-order scalar conservation laws with stochastic forcing

In this paper, we established the Freidlin-Wentzell type large deviation principles for first-order scalar conservation laws perturbed by small multiplicative noise. Due to the lack of the viscous terms in the stochastic equations, the kinetic solution to the Cauchy problem for these first-order conservation laws is studied. Then, based on the well-posedness of the kinetic solutions, we show that the large deviations holds by utilising the weak convergence approach.

Path independence of the additive functionals for McKean-Vlasov stochastic differential equations with jumps

In this article, the path independent property of additive functionals of McKean-Vlasov stochastic differential equations with jumps is characterised by nonlinear partial integro-differential equations involving $L$-derivatives with respect to probability measures introduced by P.-L. Lions. Our result extends the recent work [16] by Ren and Wang where their concerned McKean-Vlasov stochastic differential equations are driven by Brownian motions.

Support theorems for degenerate stochastic differential equations with jumps and applications

In the paper, we are concerned with degenerate stochastic differential equations with jumps. Firstly, we establish two support theorems for the solutions of the degenerate stochastic equations, under different (sufficient) conditions. Secondly, we apply one of our support theorems to a class of degenerate stochastic evolution equations (i.e., infinite-dimensional stochastic differential equations) with jumps to get a characterisation of path-independence for the densities of their Girsanov transformations.

Characterizing the path-independent property of the Girsanov density for degenerated stochastic differential equations

In this paper, we derive a characterization theorem for the path-independent property of the density of the Girsanov transformation for {\it degenerated} stochastic differential equations (SDEs), extending the characterization theorem of \cite{twwy} for the non-degenerated SDEs. We further extends our consideration to non-Lipschitz SDEs with jumps and with degenerated diffusion coefficients, which generalizes the corresponding characterization theorem established in \cite{hqwu}.

Existence and uniqueness of global strong solutions for SDEs with jumps under a new sufficient condition

In this paper, we investigate new sufficient conditions to ensure the existence of a unique global strong solution of stochastic differential equations with jumps. By using Euler approximation and by utilising a new test function $φ_δ$ (see the following definition (\ref{pntas1})), we prove that there is a unique global strong solution for the initial value problem of the equation. The condition we posed is even weaker than the local Lipschitzian continuity of the coefficients. We also present an example to show that our conditions are indeed weaker than those relevant conditions existing in the literature.

New sufficient conditions of existence, moment estimations and non confluence for SDEs with non-Lipschitzian coefficients

The object of the present paper is to find new sufficient conditions for the existence of unique strong solutions to a class of (time-inhomogeneous) stochastic differential equations with random, non-Lipschitzian coefficients. We give an example to show that our conditions are indeed weaker than those relevant conditions existing in the literature. We also derive moment estimations for the maximum process of the solution. Finally, we present a sufficient condition to ensure the non confluence property of the solution of time-homogeneous SDE which, in one dimension, is nothing but stochastic monotone property of the solution.

A Galerkin approximation scheme for the mean correction in a mean-reversion stochastic differential equation

This paper is concerned with the following Markovian stochastic differential equation of mean-reversion type \[ dR_t= (θ+σα(R_t, t))R_t dt +σR_t dB_t \] with an initial value $R_0=r_0\in\mathbb{R}$, where $θ\in\mathbb{R}$ and $σ>0$ are constants, and the mean correction function $α:\mathbb{R}\times[0,\infty)\to α(x,t)\in\mathbb{R}$ is twice continuously differentiable in $x$ and continuously differentiable in $t$. We first derive that under the assumption of path independence of the density process of Girsanov transformation for the above stochastic differential equation, the mean correction function $α$ satisfies a non-linear partial differential equation which is known as the viscous Burgers equation. We then develop a Galerkin type approximation scheme for the function $α$ by utilizing truncation of discretised Fourier transformation to the viscous Burgers equation.

Log-Harnack Inequality for Stochastic Burgers Equations and Applications

By proving an $L^2$-gradient estimate for the corresponding Galerkin approximations, the log-Harnack inequality is established for the semigroup associated to a class of stochastic Burgers equations. As applications, we derive the strong Feller property of the semigroup, the irreducibility of the solution, the entropy-cost inequality for the adjoint semigroup, and entropy upper bounds of the transition density.
