ImmuniFraug: A Metacognitive Intervention Anti-Fraud Approach to Enhance Undergraduate Students' Cyber Fraud Awareness

Cyber fraud now constitutes over half of criminal cases in China, with undergraduate students experiencing a disproportionate rise in victimization. Traditional anti-fraud training remains predominantly passive, yielding limited engagement and retention. This paper introduces ImmuniFraug, a Large Language Model (LLM)-based metacognitive intervention that delivers immersive, multimodal fraud simulations integrating text, voice, and visual avatars across ten prevalent fraud types. Each scenario is designed to replicate real-world persuasion tactics and psychological pressure, while post-interaction debriefs provide grounded feedback in protection motivation theory and reflective prompts to reinforce learning. In a controlled study with 846 Chinese undergraduates, ImmuniFraug was compared to official text-based materials. Linear Mixed-Effects Modeling (LMEM) reveals that the interactive intervention significantly improved fraud awareness (p = 0.026), successfully providing incremental learning value even when controlling for participants' extensive prior exposure to anti-fraud education, alongside high narrative immersion (M = 56.95/77). Thematic analysis of interviews revealed key effectiveness factors: perceived realism, adaptive deception, enforced time pressure, emotional manipulation awareness, and enhanced self-efficacy. Findings demonstrate that by shifting the focus from passive knowledge acquisition to active metacognitive engagement, LLM-based simulations offer a scalable and ecologically valid new paradigm for anti-fraud training and fostering fraud resilience.

LongSeeker: Elastic Context Orchestration for Long-Horizon Search Agents

Long-horizon search agents must manage a rapidly growing working context as they reason, call tools, and observe information. Naively accumulating all intermediate content can overwhelm the agent, increasing costs and the risk of errors. We propose that effective context management should be adaptive: parts of the agent's trajectory are maintained at different levels of detail depending on their current relevance to the task. To operationalize this principle, we introduce Context-ReAct, a general agentic paradigm for elastic context orchestration that integrates reasoning, context management, and tool use in a unified loop. Context-ReAct provides five atomic operations: Skip, Compress, Rollback, Snippet and Delete, which allow the agent to dynamically reshape its working context, preserving important evidence, summarizing resolved information, discarding unhelpful branches, and controlling context size. We prove that the Compress operator is expressively complete, while the other specialized operators provide efficiency and fidelity guarantees that reduce generation cost and hallucination risk. Building on this paradigm, we develop LongSeeker, a long-horizon search agent fine-tuned from Qwen3-30B-A3B on 10k synthesized trajectories. Across four representative search benchmarks, LongSeeker achieves 61.5% on BrowseComp and 62.5% on BrowseComp-ZH, substantially outperforming Tongyi DeepResearch (43.2% and 46.7%) and AgentFold (36.2% and 47.3%). These results highlight the potential of adaptive context management, showing that agents can achieve more reliable and efficient long-horizon reasoning by actively shaping their working memory.

Whole-Body Control with Motion/Force Transmissibility for Parallel-Legged Robot

For achieving kinematically suitable configurations and highly dynamic task execution, an efficient way is to consider robot performance indices in the whole-body control (WBC) of robots. However, current WBC methods have not considered the intrinsic features of parallel robots, especially motion/force transmissibility (MFT). This paper proposes an MFT-enhanced WBC scheme for parallel-legged robots. Introducing the performance indices of MFT into a WBC is challenging due to the nonlinear relationship between MFT indices and the robot configuration. To overcome this challenge, we establish the MFT preferable space of the robot offline and formulate it as a polyhedron in the joint space at the acceleration level. Then, the WBC employs the polyhedron as a soft constraint. As a result, the robot possesses high-speed and high-acceleration capabilities by satisfying this constraint. The offline preprocessing relieves the online computation burden and helps the WBC achieve a 1kHz servo rate. Finally, we validate the performance and robustness of the proposed method via simulations and experiments on a parallel-legged bipedal robot.

Routing of valley photons in a WS2 monolayer via delocalized Bloch modes of in-plane inversion-symmetry broken photonic crystal slabs

The valleys of two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) offer a new degree of freedom for information processing. To take advantage of this valley degree of freedom, on one hand, it is feasible to control valleys by utilizing different external stimuli like optical and electric fields. On the other hand, nanostructures are also used to separate the valleys by near field coupling. However, for both above methods, either required low-temperature environment or low degree of coherence properties limit their further applications. Here, we demonstrate all-dielectric photonic crystal (PhC) slabs without in-plane inversion symmetry (C2 symmetry) could separate and route valley photons in a WS2 monolayer at room temperature. Coupling with circularly polarized photonic Bloch modes of such PhC slabs, valley photons emitted by a WS2 monolayer are routed directionally and efficiently separated in the far field. In addition, the far-field emission is directionally enhanced and with long-distance spatial coherence property.

Generating optical vortex beams by momentum-space polarization vortices centered at bound states in the continuum

An optical vortex (OV) is a beam with spiral wave front and screw phase dislocation. This kind of beams is attracting rising interest in various fields. Here we theoretically proposed and experimentally realized a novel but easy approach to generate optical vortices. We leverage the inherent topological vortex structures of polarization around bound states in the continuum (BIC) in the momentum space of two dimensional periodic structures, e.g. photonic crystal slabs, to induce Pancharatnam-Berry phases to the beams. This new class of OV generators operates in the momentum space, meaning that there is no real-space center of structure. Thus, not only the fabrication but also the practical alignment would be greatly simplified. Any even order of OV, which is actually a quasi-non-diffractive high-order quasi-Bessel beam, at any desired working wavelength could be achieved in principle. The proposed approach expands the application of bound states in the continuum and topological photonics.
