Generalized BMS algebra in higher even dimensions

We revisit the status of asymptotic symmetries in higher even dimensions and propose a definition of superrotation charge beyond linearized gravity. We prove that there is a well-defined spacetime action of the superrotation charge on the space of asymptotically flat geometries. Additionally, we demonstrate that the Ward identity associated with superrotation charges follows from the subleading soft graviton theorem, which is a universal constraint (in $d> 4$) along with the leading soft graviton theorem.

Holography from the Wheeler-DeWitt equation

In a theory of quantum gravity, states can be represented as wavefunctionals that assign an amplitude to a given configuration of matter fields and the metric on a spatial slice. These wavefunctionals must obey a set of constraints as a consequence of the diffeomorphism invariance of the theory, the most important of which is known as the Wheeler-DeWitt equation. We study these constraints perturbatively by expanding them to leading nontrivial order in Newton's constant about a background AdS spacetime. We show that, even within perturbation theory, any wavefunctional that solves these constraints must have specific correlations between a component of the metric at infinity and energetic excitations of matter fields or transverse-traceless gravitons. These correlations disallow strictly localized excitations. We prove perturbatively that two states or two density matrices that coincide at the boundary for an infinitesimal interval of time must coincide everywhere in the bulk. This analysis establishes a perturbative version of holography for theories of gravity coupled to matter in AdS.

The Asymptotic Structure of Gravity in Higher Even Dimensions

We investigate the notion of asymptotic symmetries in classical gravity in higher even dimensions, with $D = 6$ space-time dimensions as the prototype. Unlike in four dimensions, certain non-linearities persist which necessitates the complete non-linear analysis we undertake. We show that the free data is parametrized by a pair of symmetric trace-free tensors at future (past) null infinity. This involves a redefinition of the radiative field. We define a symplectic structure generating the radiative phase space at ${\cal I}^{\pm}$ with appropriate boundary conditions which are preserved by the action of supertranslations. We derive the charge associated to super-translation vector fields and this charge matches with that derived using the equations of motion in the full non-linear theory. We elaborate on the precise relationship between the super-translation charge, the Bondi mass aspect and the "gravitational memory" in six space-time dimensions, thus providing the first example of an infrared triangle in non-linear gravity beyond four dimensions.

An étude of momentum space scalar amplitudes in AdS

In this paper, we explore momentum space approach to computing scalar amplitudes in Anti-de Sitter space. We show that the algorithm derived by Arkani-Hamed, Benincasa, and Postnikov for cosmological wavefunctions can be straightforwardly adopted for AdS transition amplitudes in momentum space, allowing one to bypass bulk point integrations. We demonstrate the utility of this approach in AdS by presenting several explicit results both at tree and loop level.

New relation for AdS amplitudes

In this paper, we present a simple and iterative algorithm that computes Anti-de Sitter space scattering amplitudes. We focus on the vector correlators in AdS in four dimensions in momentum space. These new combinatorial relations will allow one to generate tree level amplitudes algebraically, without having to do any explicit bulk integrations; hence, leading to a simple method of calculating higher point vector amplitudes.

On loop celestial amplitudes for gauge theory and gravity

Scattering amplitudes of massless particles in Minkowski space can be expressed in a conformal basis by Mellin transforming the momentum space amplitudes to correlation functions on the celestial sphere at null infinity. In this paper, we study celestial amplitudes of loop level gluons and gravitons. We focus on the rational amplitudes that carry all-plus and single-minus external helicities. Because these amplitudes are finite, they provide a concrete example of celestial amplitudes of Yang- Mills and gravity theory beyond tree level. We give explicit examples of four and five point functions and comment on higher point amplitudes.

Friedel oscillations and dynamical density of states of an inhomogeneous Luttinger liquid

In this work, the four-point Green functions relevant to the study of Friedel oscillations are calculated for a Luttinger liquid with a cluster of impurities around an origin using the powerful Non chiral bosonization technique (NCBT). The two-point functions obtained using the same method are used to calculate the dynamical density of states (DDOS), which exhibits a power law in energy and closed analytical expressions for the DDOS exponent is calculated. These results interpolates between the weak barrier and weak link cases which are typically studied in the literature. The dependence of the DDOS on the nature of interactions and the strength of the impurity clusters are highlighted. Finally the special case of the Luttinger parameter g=1/2 is studied and compared with existing results.
