Towards the Feynman rule for $n$-point gluon Mellin amplitudes in AdS/CFT

We investigate the embedding formalism in conjunction with the Mellin transform to determine tree-level gluon amplitudes in AdS/CFT. Detailed computations of three to five-point correlators are conducted, ultimately distilling what were previously complex results for five-point correlators into a more succinct and comprehensible form. We then proceed to derive a recursion relation applicable to a specific class of $n$-point gluon amplitudes. This relation is instrumental in systematically constructing amplitudes for a range of topologies. We illustrate its efficacy by specifically computing six to eight-point functions. Despite the complexity encountered in the intermediate steps of the recursion, the higher-point correlator is succinctly expressed as a polynomial in boundary coordinates, upon which a specific differential operator acts. Remarkably, we observe that these amplitudes strikingly mirror their counterparts in flat space, traditionally computed using standard Feynman rules. This intriguing similarity has led us to propose a novel dictionary: comprehensive rules that bridge AdS Mellin amplitudes with flat-space gluon amplitudes.

An étude of momentum space scalar amplitudes in AdS

In this paper, we explore momentum space approach to computing scalar amplitudes in Anti-de Sitter space. We show that the algorithm derived by Arkani-Hamed, Benincasa, and Postnikov for cosmological wavefunctions can be straightforwardly adopted for AdS transition amplitudes in momentum space, allowing one to bypass bulk point integrations. We demonstrate the utility of this approach in AdS by presenting several explicit results both at tree and loop level.

New relation for AdS amplitudes

In this paper, we present a simple and iterative algorithm that computes Anti-de Sitter space scattering amplitudes. We focus on the vector correlators in AdS in four dimensions in momentum space. These new combinatorial relations will allow one to generate tree level amplitudes algebraically, without having to do any explicit bulk integrations; hence, leading to a simple method of calculating higher point vector amplitudes.

On loop celestial amplitudes for gauge theory and gravity

Scattering amplitudes of massless particles in Minkowski space can be expressed in a conformal basis by Mellin transforming the momentum space amplitudes to correlation functions on the celestial sphere at null infinity. In this paper, we study celestial amplitudes of loop level gluons and gravitons. We focus on the rational amplitudes that carry all-plus and single-minus external helicities. Because these amplitudes are finite, they provide a concrete example of celestial amplitudes of Yang- Mills and gravity theory beyond tree level. We give explicit examples of four and five point functions and comment on higher point amplitudes.

On spinning loop amplitudes in Anti-de Sitter space

In this work we present a systematic study of AdS$_{d+1}$ loop amplitudes for gluons and gravitons using momentum space techniques. Inspired by the recent progress in tree level computation, we construct a differential operator that can act on a scalar factor in order to generate gluon and graviton loop integrands: this systematizes the computation for any given loop level Witten diagram. We then give a general prescription in this formalism, and discuss it for bubble, triangle, and box diagrams.

Towards the higher point holographic momentum space amplitudes II: Gravitons

In this follow up paper, we calculate higher point tree level graviton Witten diagrams in AdS$_4$ via bulk perturbation theory. We show that by rearranging the bulk to bulk graviton propagators, the calculations effectively reduce to the computation of a scalar factor. Analogous to the amplitudes for vector boson interactions we computed in the previous paper, scalar factors for the graviton exchange diagrams also become relatively simple when written in momentum space. We explicitly calculate higher point correlators and discuss how this momentum space formalism makes flat space and collinear limits simpler.

Tree-level Correlators of scalar and vector fields in AdS/CFT

Extending earlier results by Paulos, we discuss further the use of the embedding formalism and Mellin transform in the calculation of tree-level correlators of scalar and vector fields in AdS/CFT. We present an iterative procedure that builds amplitudes by sewing together lower-point off-shell diagrams. Both scalar and vector correlators are shown to be given in terms of Mellin amplitudes. We apply the procedure to the explicit calculation of three-, four- and five-point correlators.

Gauge theory one-loop amplitudes and the BCFW recursion relations

We calculate gauge theory one-loop amplitudes with the aid of the complex shift used in the Britto-Cachazo-Feng-Witten (BCFW) recursion relations of tree amplitudes. We apply the shift to the integrand and show that the contribution from the limit of infinite shift vanishes after integrating over the loop momentum, by a judicious choice of basis for polarization vectors. This enables us to write the one-loop amplitude in terms of on-shell tree and lower point one-loop amplitudes. Some of the tree amplitudes are forward amplitudes. We show that their potential singularities do not contribute and the BCFW recursion relations can be applied in such a way as to avoid these singularities altogether. We calculate in detail $n$-point one-loop amplitudes for $n=2,3,4$, and outline the generalization of our method to $n>4$.

String modular motives of mirrors of rigid Calabi-Yau varieties

The modular properties of some higher dimensional varieties of special Fano type are analyzed by computing the L-function of their $Ω-$motives. It is shown that the emerging modular forms are string theoretic in origin, derived from the characters of the underlying rational conformal field theory. The definition of the class of Fano varieties of special type is motivated by the goal to find candidates for a geometric realization of the mirrors of rigid Calabi-Yau varieties. We consider explicitly the cubic sevenfold and the quartic fivefold, and show that their motivic L-functions agree with the L-functions of their rigid mirror Calabi-Yau varieties. We also show that the cubic fourfold is string theoretic, with a modular form that is determined by that of an exactly solvable K3 surface.
