A talk presents a new cosmological model with superstring-inspired $E_6$ unification, broken at the early stage of the Universe into $SO(10)\times U(1)_Z$ -- into the ordinary world, and $SU(6)'\times SU(2)'_θ$ -- into the hidden world.
It has been known for some time that the well established LMA solution to the observed solar neutrino deficit fails to predict a flat energy spectrum for SuperKamiokande as opposed to what the data indicates. It also leads to a Chlorine rate which appears to be too high as compared to the data. We investigate the possible solution to these inconsistencies with non standard neutrino interactions, assuming that they come as extra contributions to the $ν_αν_β$ and $ν_αe$ vertices that affect both the propagation of neutrinos in the sun and their detection. We find that, among the many possibilities for non standard couplings, only the diagonal imaginary ones lead to a solution to the tension between the LMA predictions and the data, implying neutrino instability in the solar matter. Unitarity requirements further restrict the solution and a neutrino decay into an antineutrino and a majoron within the sun is the one favoured. Antineutrino probability is however too small to open the possibility of experimentally observing antineutrinos from the sun due to NSI.
We develop a concept of parallel existence of the ordinary (O) and hidden (H) worlds. We compare two cases: 1) when the hidden sector of the Universe is a mirror counterpart of the ordinary world, and 2) when it is a superstring-inspired shadow world described, in contrast to the mirror world, by a symmetry group (or by a chain of groups), which does not coincide with the ordinary world symmetry group. We construct a cosmological model assuming the existence of the superstring-inspired E_6 unification, broken at the early stage of the Universe to SO(10)\times U(1)_Z - in the O-world, and to SU(6)'\times SU(2)'_θ- in the H-world. As a result, we obtain the low energy symmetry group G'_SM\times SU(2)'_θin the shadow world, instead of the Standard Model group G_SM existing in the O-world. The additional non-Abelian SU(2)'_θgroup with massless gauge fields, "thetons", is responsible for dark energy. Considering a quintessence model of cosmology with an inflaton σand an axion a_θ, which is a pseudo Nambu-Goldstone boson induced by the SU(2)'_θ-group anomaly, we explain the origin of Dark Energy, Dark Matter and Ordinary Matter. In the present model we review all cosmological epochs (inflation, reheating, recombination and nucleosynthesis), and give our version of the baryogenesis. The cosmological constant problem is also briefly discussed.
The present paper is based on the assumption that heavy quarks bound states exist in the Standard Model (SM). Considering New Bound States (NBS) of top-anti-top quarks (named T-balls) we have shown that: 1) there exists the scalar 1S--bound state of $6t+6\bar t$; 2) the forces which bind the top-quarks are very strong and almost completely compensate the mass of the twelve top-anti-top-quarks in the scalar NBS; 3) such strong forces are produced by the Higgs-top-quarks interaction with a large value of the top-quark Yukawa coupling constant $g_t\simeq 1$. Theory also predicts the existence of the NBS $6t + 5\bar t$, which is a color triplet and a fermion similar to the $t'$-quark of the fourth generation. We have also considered the "b-quark-replaced" NBS, estimated the masses of the lightest fermionic NBS: $M_{NBS}\gtrsim 300$ GeV, and discussed the larger masses of T-balls. We have developed a theory of the scalar T-ball's condensate and predicted the existence of three SM phases. Searching for heavy quark bound states at the Tevatron and LHC is discussed. We have constructed the possible form-factors of T-balls, and estimated the charge multiplicity coming from the T-ball's decays.
We investigate the prospects for non-standard interactions (NSI) in solar neutrino propagation and detection and find that these may solve the tension between the observed flatness of the SuperKamiokande electron spectrum and its LMA prediction which has a clear negative slope. Also the Cl rate prediction from NSI comes within 1$σ$ of its experimental value instead of the LMA one which lies more than 2$σ$ above. A remarkable consequence of NSI for solar neutrinos is the possibility of neutrino decay into majorons and antineutrinos whose appearance probability is calculated but found to be rather small.

We construct a new cosmological model considering the superstring-inspired E_6 unification in the 4-dimensional space at the early stage of the Universe. We develop a concept of parallel existence in Nature of the ordinary and shadow worlds with different cosmological evolutions.

We have developed a concept of parallel existence of the ordinary (O) and mirror (M), or shadow (Sh) worlds. In the first part of the paper we consider a mirror world with broken mirror parity and the breaking $E_6\to SU(3)^3$ in both worlds. We show that in this case the evolutions of coupling constants in the O- and M-worlds are not identical, having different parameters for similar evolutions. $E_6$ unification, inspired by superstring theory, restores the broken mirror parity at the scale $\sim 10^{18}$ GeV. With the aim to explain the tiny cosmological constant, in the second part we consider the breakings: $E_6 \to SO(10)\times U(1)_Z$ -- in the O-world, and $E'_6 \to SU(6)'\times SU(2)'_θ$ -- in the Sh-world. In this way the present work opens the possibility to specify a grand unification group, such as $E_6$, from Cosmology.
Recently in connection with Superstring theory E_8 and E_6 unifications became very promising. In the present paper we have investigated a number of available paths from the Standard Model (SM) to the E_6 unification, considering a chain of flipped models following the extension of the SM: SU(3)_C\times SU(2)_L\times U(1)_Y \to SU(3)_C\times SU(2)_L\times U(1)_X \times U(1)_Z \to SU(5)\times U(1)_X \to SU(5)\times U(1)_{Z1} \times U(1)_{X1} \to SO(10) \times U(1)_{X1} \to SO(10) \times U(1)_{Z2}\times U(1)_{X2} \to E_6\times U(1)_{X2} or E_6, Also we have considered a chain with a left-right symmetry: SU(3)_C\times SU(2)_L\times U(1)_Y \to SU(3)_C\times SU(2)_L \times SU(2)_R\times U(1)_X\times U(1)_Z \to SU(4)_C\times SU(2)_L \times SU(2)_R\times U(1)_Z \to SO(10)\times U(1)_Z \to E_6. We have presented four examples including non-supersymmetric and supersymmetric extensions of the SM and different contents of the Higgs bosons providing the breaking of the flipped SO(10) and SU(5) down to the SM. It was shown that the final unification E_6\times U(1) or E_6 at the (Planck) GUT scale M_{SSG} depends on the number of the Higgs boson representations considered in theory.
In the present letter we suggest a new model of preons-dyons making composite quark-leptons and bosons, described by the supersymmetric string-inspired flipped E_6\times \tilde E_6 gauge group of symmetry. This investigation predicts the possible extension of the Standard Model to the Family replicated gauge group model of type G^{N_{fam}}, where N_{fam} is the number of families. Here E_6 and \tilde E_6 are non-dual and dual sectors of theory with hyper-electric g and hyper-magnetic \tilde g charges, respectively. Our model is based on the recent theory of composite non-Abelian flux tubes in SQCD. Considering the breakdown of E_6 (and \tilde E_6) at the Planck scale into the SU(6)\times U(1) gauge group, we have shown that the six types of composite N = 1 supersymmetric non-Abelian flux tubes are created by the condensation of spreons-dyons near the Planck scale and have fluxes quantized according to the Z_6 center group of SU(6): Φ_n = nΦ_0 (n = \pm 1,\pm 2,\pm 3). These fluxes give three types of k-strings with tensions T_k = kT_0, where k = 1,2,3, and produce three generations of composite quark-leptons and bosons. Thus, the present model predicts N_{gen} = N_{fam} = 3. The condensation of spreons near the Planck scale gives the phase transition at scales M_{crit} and \tilde M_{crit}, and we have calculated the critical values of gauge coupling constants.
The quantum Yang-Mills theory, describing a system of fields with non-dual (chromo-electric g) and dual (chromo-magnetic \tilde g) charges and revealing the generalized dual symmetry, is developed by analogy with the Zwanziger formalism in QED. The renormalization group equations (RGEs) for pure nonabelian theories are analysed for both constants, α= g^2 / 4πand \tildeα= {\tilde g}^2 / 4π. The pure SU(3) \times \widetilde{SU(3)} gauge theory is investigated as an example. We consider not only monopoles, but also dyons. The behaviour of the total SU(3) β-function is investigated in the whole region of α\equiv α_s: 0 \le α< \infty. It is shown that this β-function is antisymmetric under the interchange α\longleftrightarrow 1/αand is given by the well-known perturbative expansion not only for α\ll 1, but also for α\gg 1. Using an idea of the Maximal Abelian Projection by t' Hooft, we considered the formation of strings - the ANO flux tubes - in the Higgs model of scalar monopole (or dyon) fields. In this model we have constructed the behaviour of the β-function in the vicinity of the point α= 1, where it acquires a zero value. Considering the phase transition points at α\approx 0.4 and α\approx 2.5, we give the explanation of the freezing of α_s. The evolution of α_s^{-1}(μ) and the behaviour of V_{eff}(μ) are investigated for both, perturbative and non-perturbative regions of QCD. It was shown that the effective potential has a minimum, ensured by the dual sector of QCD. The gluon condensate F^2_0, corresponding to this minimum, is predicted: F^2_0 \approx 0.15 GeV^4, in agreement with the well-known results.
This review is devoted to the Multiple Point Principle (MPP), according to which several vacuum states with the same energy density exist in Nature. The MPP is implemented to the Standard Model (SM), Family replicated gauge group model (FRGGM) and phase transitions in gauge theories with/without monopoles. Lattice gauge theories are reviewed. The lattice results for critical coupling constants are compared with those of the Higgs Monopole Model (HMM), in which the lattice artifact monopoles are replaced by the point-like Higgs scalar particles with a magnetic charge. Considering our (3+1)-dimensional space-time as discrete, for example, as a lattice with a parameter a=λ_P, equal to the Planck length, we have investigated the additional contributions of monopoles to beta-functions of renormalization group equations in the FRGGM extended beyond the SM at high (the Planck scale) energies. We have reviewed that, in contrast to the Anti-grand unified theory (AGUT), there exists a possibility of unification of all gauge interactions (including gravity) near the Planck scale due to monopoles. The unifications [SU(5)]^3 and [SO(10)]^3 at the GUT-scale \sim 10^{18} GeV are briefly discussed.
