Compositeness of the strange, charm and beauty odd parity ΛΛ states

We study the dependence on the quark mass of the compositeness of the lowest-lying odd parity hyperon states. Thus, we pay attention to Λ−Λ-like states in the strange, charm and beauty, sectors which are dynamically generated using a unitarized meson-baryon model. In the strange sector we use an SU(6) extension of the Weinberg-Tomozawa meson-baryon interaction, and we further implement the heavy-quark spin symmetry to construct the meson-baryon interaction when charmed or beauty hadrons are involved. In the three examined flavor sectors, we obtain two JP=1/2−J^P=1/2^- and one JP=3/2−J^P=3/2^- ΛΛ states. We find that the ΛΛ states which are bound states (the three ΛbΛ_b) or narrow resonances (one Λ(1405)Λ(1405) and one Λc(2595)Λ_c(2595)) are well described as molecular states composed of ss-wave meson-baryon pairs. The 12−\frac{1}{2}^- wide Λ(1405)Λ(1405) and Λc(2595)Λ_c(2595) as well as the 32−\frac{3}{2}^- Λ(1520)Λ(1520) and Λc(2625)Λ_c(2625) states display smaller compositeness and so they would require new mechanisms, such as dd-wave interactions.

Decay widths of the spin-2 partners of the X(3872)

We consider the X(3872)X(3872) resonance as a JPC=1++J^{PC}=1^{++} DDˉ∗D\bar D^* hadronic molecule. According to heavy quark spin symmetry, there will exist a partner with quantum numbers 2++2^{++}, X2X_{2}, which would be a D∗Dˉ∗D^*\bar D^* loosely bound state. The X2X_{2} is expected to decay dominantly into DDˉD\bar D, DDˉ∗D\bar D^* and DˉD∗\bar D D^* in dd-wave. In this work, we calculate the decay widths of the X2X_{2} resonance into the above channels, as well as those of its bottom partner, Xb2X_{b2}, the mass of which comes from assuming heavy flavor symmetry for the contact terms. We find partial widths of the X2X_{2} and Xb2X_{b2} of the order of a few MeV. Finally, we also study the radiative X2→DDˉ∗γX_2\to D\bar D^{*}γ and Xb2→BˉB∗γX_{b2} \to \bar B B^{*}γ decays. These decay modes are more sensitive to the long-distance structure of the resonances and to the DDˉ∗D\bar D^{*} or BBˉ∗B\bar B^{*} final state interaction.

Bˉs→K\bar B_s\to K semileptonic decay from an Omnès improved constituent quark model

We study the f+f^+ form factor for the semileptonic Bˉs→K+ℓ−νˉℓ\bar B_s\to K^+\ell^-\barν_\ell decay in a constituent quark model. The valence quark estimate is supplemented with the contribution from the Bˉ∗\bar B^* pole that dominates the high q2q^2 region. We use a multiply-subtracted Omnès dispersion relation to extend the quark model predictions from its region of applicability near qmax2=(MBs−MK)2∼23.75q^2_{\rm max}=(M_{B_s}-M_K)^2\sim 23.75 GeV2^2 to all q2q^2 values accessible in the physical decay. To better constrain the dependence of f+f^+ on q2q^2, we fit the subtraction constants to a combined input from previous light cone sum rule [Phys. Rev. D 78 (2008) 054015] and the present quark model results. From this analysis, we obtain Γ(Bˉs→K+ℓ−νˉℓ)=(5.45−0.80+0.83)∣Vub∣2×10−9 MeVΓ(\bar B_s\to K^+\ell^-\barν_\ell)=(5.45^{+0.83}_{-0.80})|V_{ub}|^2\times 10^{-9}\,{\rm MeV}, which is about 20\% higher than the prediction based only on QCD light cone sum rule estimates. Differences are much larger for the f+f^+ form factor in the region above q2=15q^2=15 GeV2^2.

Bˉs→K\bar B_s\to K semileptonic decay from an Omnès improved nonrelativistic quark model

We study the f+f^+ form factor for the Bˉs→K+ℓ−νˉℓ\bar B_s\to K^+\ell^-\barν_\ell semileptonic decay in a nonrelativistic quark model. The valence quark contribution is supplemented with a Bˉ∗\bar B^*-pole term that dominates the high q2q^2 region. To extend the quark model predictions from its region of applicability near qmax2=(MBs−MK)2q^2_{\rm max}=(M_{B_s}-M_K)^2, we use a multiply-subtracted Omnès dispersion relation. We fit the subtraction constants to a combined input from previous light cone sum rule results in the low q2q^2 region and the quark model results (valence plus Bˉ∗\bar B^*-pole) in the high q2q^2 region. From this analysis, we obtain Γ(Bˉs→K+ℓ−νˉℓ)=(5.47−0.46+0.54)∣Vub∣2×10−9 MeVΓ(\bar B_s\to K^+\ell^-\barν_\ell)=(5.47^{+0.54}_{-0.46})|V_{ub}|^2\times 10^{-9}\,{\rm MeV}, which is about 10% and 20% higher than predictions based on Lattice QCD and QCD light cone sum rules respectively.

BsB_s mesons: semileptonic and nonleptonic decays

In this contribution we compute some nonleptonic and semileptonic decay widths of BsB_s mesons, working in the context of constituent quark models \cite{Albertus:2014gba, Albertus:2014bfa}. For the case of semileptonic decays we consider reactions leading to kaons or different JπJ^π DsD_s mesons. The study of nonleptonic decays has been done in the factorisation approximation and includes the final states enclosed in Table 2.

Hidden charm and bottom molecular states

We investigate heavy quark symmetries for heavy light meson-antimeson systems in a contact-range effective field theory. In the SU(3) light flavor limit, the leading order Lagrangian respecting heavy quark spin symmetry contains four independent counter-terms. Neglecting 1/mQ1/m_Q corrections, three of these low energy constants can be determ1ined by theorizing a molecular description of the X(3872)X(3872) and Zb(10610)Z_b(10610) states. Thus, we can predict new hadronic molecules, in particular the isovector charmonium partners of the Zb(10610)Z_b(10610) and the Zb(10650)Z_b(10650) states. We also discuss hadron molecules composed of a heavy meson and a doubly-heavy baryon, which would be related to the heavy meson-antimeson molecules thanks to the heavy antiquark-diquark symmetry. Finally, we also study the X(3872)→D0Dˉ0π0X(3872) \to D^0\bar D^0π^0 decay, which is not only sensitive to the short distance part of the X(3872)X(3872) molecular wave function, as the J/ψππJ/ψππ and J/ψ3πJ/\psi3π X(3872)X(3872) decay modes are, but it is also affected by the long-distance structure of the resonance. Furthermore, this decay might provide some information on the interaction between the DDˉD\bar D charm mesons.

Long-distance structure of the X(3872)

We investigate heavy quark symmetries for heavy meson hadronic molecules, and explore the consequences of assuming the X(3872) and Zb(10610)Z_b(10610) as an isoscalar DDˉ∗D\bar D^* and an isovector BBˉ∗B\bar B^* hadronic molecules, respectively. The symmetry allows to predict new hadronic molecules, in particular we find an isoscalar 1++1^{++} BBˉ∗B\bar B^* bound state with a mass about 10580 MeV and the isovector charmonium partners of the Zb(10610)Z_b(10610) and the Zb(10650)Z_b(10650) states. Next, we study the X(3872)→D0Dˉ0π0X(3872) \to D^0 \bar D^0π^0 three body decay. This decay mode is more sensitive to the long-distance structure of the X(3872) resonance than its J/ψππJ/ψππ and J/ψ3πJ/\psi3π decays, which are mainly controlled by the short distance part of the X(3872) molecular wave function. We discuss the D0Dˉ0D^0 \bar D^0 final state interactions, which in some situations become quite important. Indeed in these cases, a precise measurement of this partial decay width could provide precise information on the interaction strength between the D(∗)Dˉ(∗)D^{(*)}\bar D^{(*)} charm mesons.

Light Flavour and Heavy Quark Spin Symmetry in Heavy Meson Molecules

We propose an effective field theory incorporating light SU(3)-flavour and heavy quark spin symmetry to describe charmed meson-antimeson bound states. At lowest order the effective field theory entails a remarkable simplification: it only involves contact range interactions among the heavy meson and antimeson fields. We show that the isospin violating decays of the X(3872) can be used to constraint the interaction between the DD and a Dˉ∗\bar{D}^* mesons in the isovector channel. As a consequence, we can rule out the existence of a isovector partner of the X(3872). If we additionally assume that the X(3915) and Y(4140) are D∗Dˉ∗D^*\bar{D}^* and Ds∗Dˉs∗D_s^*\bar{D}_s^* molecular states, we can determine the full spectrum of molecular states with isospin I=0, 1/2 and 1.

Heavy Quark Spin Symmetry and SU(3)-Flavour Partners of the X(3872)

In this work, an Effective Field Theory (EFT) incorporating light SU(3)-flavour and heavy quark spin symmetry is used to describe charmed meson-antimeson bound states. At Lowest Order (LO), this means that only contact range interactions among the heavy meson and antimeson fields are involved. Besides, the isospin violating decays of the X(3872) will be used to constrain the interaction between the DD and a Dˉ∗\bar{D}^* mesons in the isovector channel. Finally, assuming that the X(3915) and Y(4140) resonances are D∗Dˉ∗D^*\bar{D}^* and Ds∗Dˉs∗D_s^*\bar{D}_s^* molecular states, we can determine the four Low Energy Constants (LECs) of the EFT that appear at LO and, therefore, the full spectrum of molecular states with isospin I=0, 1/2 and 1.
