On the equivalence between four versions of thermostatistics based on strongly pseudo-additive entropies

The class of SPA entropies, which can be represented as an increasing continuous transformation of Shannon and Rényi entropies, have intensively been studied in previous decades. Although their mathematical structure has thoroughly been explored and established by GSK axioms, the analysis of their thermostatistical properties have mostly been limited to special cases which belong to two parameter Sharma-Mittal entropy class, such as Tsallis, Renyi and Gaussian entropies. In this paper we present a general analysis of SPA entropies thermostatistics by taking into account both linear and escort constraints on internal energy. We develop two types of dualities between the thermostatistics formalisms. By the first one, the formalism of Rényi entropy is transformed in the formalism of SPA entropy under general energy constraint and, by the second one, the generalized thermostatistics which corresponds to the linear constraint is transformed into the one which corresponds to the escort constraint. Thus, we establish the equivalence between four different thermostatistics formalisms based on Rényi and SPA entropies coupled with linear and escort constraints and we provide the transformation formulas. In this way we obtain a general framework which is applicable to the wide class of entropies and constraints previously discussed in the literature. As an example, we rederive maximum entropy distributions for Sharma-Mittal entropy and we establish new relationships between the corresponding thermodynamic potentials. We obtain, as special cases, previously developed expressions for maximum entropy distributions and thermodynamic quantities for Tsallis, Rényi and Gaussian entropies. In addition, the results are applied for derivation of thermostatistical relationships for supra-extensive entropy, which has not previously been considered.

$α$-divergence derived as the generalized rate function in a power-law system

The generalized binomial distribution in Tsallis statistics (power-law system) is explicitly formulated from the precise $q$-Stirling's formula. The $α$-divergence (or $q$-divergence) is uniquely derived from the generalized binomial distribution in the sense that when $α\rightarrow-1$ (i.e., $q\rightarrow1$) it recovers KL divergence obtained from the standard binomial distribution. Based on these combinatorial considerations, it is shown that $α$-divergence (or $q$-divergence) is appeared as the generalized rate function in the large deviation estimate in Tsallis statistics.

Quantum Systems Obeying to Generalized Exclusion-Inclusion Principle

In this work is studied a many body system obeying to a generalized Exclusion-Inclusion Principle (EIP) originated by collective effect, the dynamics, in mean field approximation, being ruled by a nonlinear Schroedinger equation. The EIP is introduced by a judicious generalization of the particle current. By means of variational principle is obtained a canonical nonlinear Schroedinger equation. We study the Lagrangian and Hamiltonian formulation. We study the symmetries of the nonlinear Schroedinger equation obeying to EIP and by means of Noether theorem we obtain and discuss conserved quantities. Successively, EIP-Schroedinger equation is coupled in a minimal way to an abelian gauge field which dynamics is described by the Maxwell-Chern-Simons Lagrangian. We show that the anyonic statistic behavior ascribed to the system by the Chern-Simons Lagrangian is not destroyed by the presence of EIP potential. Finally, we study special solutions of the system. Applications on the Bose-Einstein condensation and vortex-like solution in the picture of Chern-Simons interaction are considered.

Quantum Orthogonal Planes: ISO_{q,r}(N) and SO_{q,r}(N) -- Bicovariant Calculi and Differential Geometry on Quantum Minkowski Space

We construct differential calculi on multiparametric quantum orthogonal planes in any dimension N. These calculi are bicovariant under the action of the full inhomogeneous (multiparametric) quantum group ISO_{q,r}(N), and do contain dilatations. If we require bicovariance only under the quantum orthogonal group SO_{q,r}(N), the calculus on the q-plane can be expressed in terms of its coordinates x^a, differentials dx^a and partial derivatives \partial_a without the need of dilatations, thus generalizing known results to the multiparametric case. Using real forms that lead to the signature (n+1,m) with m = n-1, n, n+1 , we find ISO_{q,r}(n+1, m) and SO_{q,r}(n+1,m) bicovariant calculi on the multiparametric quantum spaces. The particular case of the quantum Minkowski space ISO_{q,r}(3,1)/SO_{q,r}(3,1) is treated in detail. The conjugated partial derivatives \partial_a* can be expressed as linear combinations of the \partial_a. This allows a deformation of the phase-space where no additional operators (besides x^a and p_a) are needed.
