Model independent study for the anomalous W+W−γW^+W^-γ couplings at the future lepton-hadron colliders

The triple gauge couplings are completely defined by the non-Abelian gauge nature of the Standard Model, precision measurements of these couplings at the present and future colliders in this way provide a substantial opportunity to test the gauge structure of the Standard Model. Also, measurements of these couplings are sensitive to new physics beyond the Standard Model. In this context, these couplings can be described by an effective Lagrangian. Here, we have studied the potential of the future μpμp colliders on the anomalous WWγWWγ interactions via the subprocess γ∗p → W−νμγ^* p\,\rightarrow\,W^-ν_μ. This subprocess has been generated through the main process μp → μγ∗p → W−νμpμp\,\rightarrow\,μγ^* p\,\rightarrow\,W^-ν_μp at the LHC-μpμp, the FCC-μpμp and the SPPC-μpμp. For these reasons, the total cross sections have been obtained as a function of the anomalous WWγWWγ couplings. Also, we have been calculated the best constraints on cWWWc_{WWW}, cWc_{W} and cBc_{B} parameters that define the anomalous WWγWWγ interactions.

Model independent study for the anomalous quartic WWγγWWγγ couplings at Future Electron-Proton Colliders

The Large Hadron Electron Collider and the Future Circular Collider-hadron electron with high center-of-mass energy and luminosity allow to better understand the Standard Model and to examine new physics beyond the Standard Model in the electroweak sector. Multi-boson processes permit for a measurement of the gauge boson self-interactions of the Standard Model that can be used to determine the anomalous gauge boson couplings. For this purpose, we present a study of the process ep→νeγγjep \rightarrow ν_{e} γγj at the Large Hadron Electron Collider with center-of-mass energies of 1.30, 1.98 TeV and at the Future Circular Collider-hadron electron with center-of-mass energies of 7.07, 10 TeV to interpret the anomalous quartic WWγγWWγγ gauge couplings using a model independent way in the framework of effective field theory. We obtain the sensitivity limits at 95%95\% Confidence Level on 13 different anomalous couplings arising from dimension-8 operators. The best limit in fMi/Λ4f_{Mi}/Λ^{4} (i=0,1,2,3,4,5,7i=0,1,2,3,4,5,7) parameters is obtained for fM2/Λ4f_{M2}/Λ^{4} parameter while the best sensitivity derived on fTi/Λ4f_{Ti}/Λ^{4} (i=0,1,2,5,6,7i=0,1,2,5,6,7) parameters is obtained for fT5/Λ4f_{T5}/Λ^{4}. In addition, this study is the first report on the anomalous quartic couplings determined by effective Lagrangians at epep colliders.

Bounds on the non-standard W+W−γW^+W^-γ couplings at the LHeC and the FCC-he

We examine the potential of the e−p→e−γ∗p→e−W−q′Xe^-p \to e^-γ^*p \to e^-W^-q'X (γ∗γ^* is Weizsacker-Willams photon) reaction to probe the non-standard W+W−γW^+W^-γ couplings at the Large Hadron electron Collider (LHeC) and the Future Circular Collider-hadron electron (FCC-he). We find 95%95\% confidence level bounds on the anomalous coupling ΔκγΔκ_γ and λγλ_γ parameters in the view of effective Lagrangian approach with various values of the integrated luminosity. We assume center-of-mass energies of the electron-proton system s=1.30,1.98,7.07,10TeV\sqrt{s}= 1.30, 1.98, 7.07, 10\hspace{0.8mm}{\rm TeV} and luminosities L=10−1000fb−1{\cal L} = 10-1000 \hspace{0.8mm}{\rm fb^{-1}}. The best limits obtained from the process e−p→e−γ∗p→e−W−q′Xe^-p \to e^-γ^*p \to e^-W^-q'X on the anomalous ΔκγΔκ_γ and λγλ_γ couplings are Δκγ=∣0.00069∣Δκ_γ= |0.00069| and λγ=[−0.0099,0.0054]λ_γ= [-0.0099, 0.0054]. These bounds show that the process under consideration is a good prospect for the searching of the non-standard ΔκγΔκ_γ and λγλ_γ couplings at the LHeC and the FCC-he. In addition, our results provide complementary information on other results for ΔκγΔκ_γ and λγλ_γ couplings.

Probing model-independent limits on W+W−γW^+W^-γ triple gauge boson vertex at the LHeC and the FCC-he

We study the cross-section of production of a single W−W^- boson in association with a neutrino through the process e−p→e−γ∗p→νeW−pe^-p \to e^-γ^*p \to ν_eW^- p. Additionally, we obtain the anomalous couplings ΔκγΔκ_γ and λγλ_γ of the W+W−γW^+W^-γ vertex at the Large Hadron Electron Collider (LHeC) and the Future Circular Collider Hadron-Electron (FCC-he). The impact of the polarized beam due to the electron is also analyzed. Our best limits for ΔκγΔκ_γ and λγλ_γ at the 95%95\% C.L. are: Δκγ=±0.0017Δκ_γ= \pm 0.0017, λγ=±0.0053λ_γ= \pm 0.0053 (unpolarized electron beam) and Δκγ=±0.0013Δκ_γ= \pm 0.0013, λγ=±0.0046λ_γ= \pm 0.0046 (polarized electron beam) identifying the W−W^- boson through the hadronic decay channel. In addition, the e−γ∗→νeW−e^-γ^* \to ν_eW^- collision is one of the clean, pure and simple process to investigate the W+W−γW^+W^-γ coupling without the complications of QCD backgrounds.

Anomalous WWγWWγ couplings with beam polarization at the Compact Linear Collider

We study the anomalous WWγWWγ couplings at the Compact Linear Collider through the processes e+e−→W+W−e^{+}e^{-}\to W^+W^-, e−e+→e−γ∗e+→e+νeW−e^{-}e^{+} \to e^{-} γ^{*} e^{+} \to e^{+} ν_{e} W^- and e−e+→e−γ∗γ∗e+→e−W+W−e+e^{-}e^{+}\to e^{-} γ^{*} γ^{*} e^{+} \to e^{-} W^+ W^- e^{+} (γ∗ (γ^{*} is the Weizsacker-Williams photon). We give the 95\% confidence level limits for unpolarized and polarized electron (positron) beam on the anomalous couplings for various values of the integrated luminosities and center-of-mass energies. We show that the obtained limits on the anomalous couplings through these processes can highly improve the current experimental limits. In addition, our limits with beam polarization are approximately two times better than the unpolarized case.

Graviton production through photon-quark scattering at the LHC

We have investigated real graviton emission in the ADD and RS model of extra dimensions through the photoproduction process pp-> p gamma p-> pGqX at the LHC. We have considered all contributions from the subprocesses gamma q -> G q, where q=u,d,c,s,b,anti-u,anti-d, anti-c, anti-s, anti-b quark. The constraints on model parameters of the ADD and RS model of extra dimensions have been calculated. During numerical calculations we have taken account of 3, 4, 5 and 6 large extra dimensional scenarios. The constraints on RS model parameters have been calculated by considering G -> gamma gamma, e^- e^+, mu^- mu^+ decay channels of the graviton.

In this work we study the potential of the processes e+e−→e+γ∗e−→e+τνˉτνee^+e^- \to e^+γ^* e^- \to e^+τ\barν_τν_e and e+e−→e+γ∗γ∗e−→e+ντνˉτe−e^+e^- \to e^+γ^* γ^* e^- \to e^+ν_τ\barν_τe^- at a future high-energy and high-luminosity linear electron positron collider, such as the ILC and CLIC to study the sensibility on the anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments of the tau-neutrino. For integrated luminosity of 590\hspace{1mm}fb−1fb^{-1} and center-of-mass energy of 3\hspace{1mm}TeVTeV, we derive 95%C.L.95 \% \hspace{1mm}C. L. limits on the dipole moments: μντ≤1.44×10−6μBμ_{ν_τ}\leq 1.44 \times 10^{-6}μ_B and dντ≤2.78×10−17ecmd_{ν_τ}\leq 2.78 \times 10^{-17}\hspace{1mm} e\hspace{0.5mm} cm in the γ∗e−γ^* e^- collision mode and of μντ≤3.4×10−7μBμ_{ν_τ}\leq 3.4 \times 10^{-7}μ_B and dντ≤6.56×10−18ecmd_{ν_τ}\leq 6.56 \times 10^{-18}\hspace{1mm} e\hspace{0.5mm}cm with the γ∗γ∗γ^*γ^* collision mode, improving the existing limits.

Anomalous interactions of the top quark with photon via flavor changing neutral currents at the CLIC

Photon-photon reaction provides an excellent opportunity to isolate the tqγtqγ vertex. For this purpose, we have examined the potential of the e−e+→e−γ∗γ∗e+→e−tqˉe+→e−Wbqˉe+e^{-}e^{+}\rightarrow e^{-}γ^{*}γ^{*}e^{+}\rightarrow e^{-}t\bar{q}e^{+}\rightarrow e^{-}W b\bar{q}e^{+} (γ∗γ^{*} is the Weizsacker-Williams photon and q=u,cq=u,c) process to investigate the anomalous tqγtqγ couplings in γ∗γ∗γ^{*}γ^{*} collisions at the CLIC. We have obtained 95%95\% confidence level limits on the anomalous couplings for various values of the center-of-mass energy and integrated luminosity. We have shown that the limit on anomalous κtqγκ_{tqγ} coupling is more restricted with respect to current experimental limits.

Probe of electromagnetic moments of the tau lepton in gamma-gamma collisions at the CLIC

We have investigated the electromagnetic moments of the tau lepton in e+e−→e+γ∗γ∗e−→e+ττˉe−e^{+}e^{-} \rightarrow e^{+}γ^{*} γ^{*} e^{-}\rightarrow e^{+}τ\barτe^{-} process at the CLIC. We have obtained 95% confidence level bounds on the anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments for various values of the integrated luminosity and the center of mass energy. We have shown that the e+e−→e+γ∗γ∗e−→e+ττˉe−e^{+}e^{-} \rightarrow e^{+}γ^{*} γ^{*} e^{-}\rightarrow e^{+}τ\barτe^{-} process at the CLIC leads to a remarkable improvement in the existing experimental bounds on the anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments.

We have examined TeV scale effects of extra spatial dimensions through the processes gamma q-> gamma q where q=u,d,c,s,b, anti-u, anti-d, anti-c, anti-s, anti-b. These processes have been treated in a photon-proton collision via the main reaction pp-> p gamma p-> p gamma qX at the LHC. We have employed equivalent photon approximation for incoming photon beams and performed statistical analysis for various forward detector acceptances.

Anomalous Wtb couplings in gamma-proton collision at the LHC

We study the possibility for the process pp→pγp→pW−t(W+tˉ)Xpp \rightarrow pγp \rightarrow pW^-t(W^+\bar t)X with anomalous Wtb couplings in a model independent effective Lagrangian approach at the LHC. We find 95% confidence level bounds on the anomalous coupling parameters for various values of the integrated luminosity. The improved constraints on the anomalous Wtb couplings have been obtained compared to current limits.
