Weak Type Bound for Oscillatory Singular Integrals

preprint2016arXivOpen access

Abstract

Let TPf(x)=∫eiP(y)K(y)f(x−y) dy T _{P} f (x) = \int e ^{i P (y)} K (y) f (x-y) \, dy , where K(y) K (y) is a smooth Calderón-Zygmund kernel on Rn \mathbb R ^{n}, and P P be a polynomial. The maximal truncations of TP T_P satisfy the weak L1 L ^{1} inequality, our proof simplifying and extending the argument of Chanillo and Christ for the weak type bound for TP T_P.
