Superconductivity in La $_3$ Pt $_4$

We found superconductivity of intermetallic La $_3$ Pt $_4$ below 0.51 K, while searching for the Pt-substituted material of the noncentrosymmetric (NCS) superconductor LaNiC $_2$ ( $T_{\rm{c}}=2.7$ K.
