Common boundary regular fixed points for holomorphic semigroups in strongly convex domains

preprint2014arXivOpen access

Abstract

Let DD be a bounded strongly convex domain with smooth boundary in CN\mathbb C^N. Let (ϕt)(ϕ_t) be a continuous semigroup of holomorphic self-maps of DD. We prove that if p∈∂Dp\in \partial D is an isolated boundary regular fixed point for ϕt0ϕ_{t_0} for some t0>0t_0>0, then pp is a boundary regular fixed point for ϕtϕ_t for all t≥0t\geq 0. Along the way we also study backward iteration sequences for elliptic holomorphic self-maps of DD.
