$C^*$-uniqueness Results for Groupoids

For a second-countable locally compact Hausdorff étale groupoid $\mathcal{G}$ with a continuous $2$-cocycle $σ$ we find conditions that guarantee that $\ell^1 (\mathcal{G},σ)$ has a unique $C^*$-norm.
