Higher-order generalized uncertainty principle applied to gravitational baryogenesis

The gravitational baryogenesis plays an important role in the study of the baryon asymmetry. However, the original mechanism of gravitational baryogenesis in the radiation dominated era leads to the asymmetry factor $η$ is equal to zero, which indicates this mechanism may not generate a sufficient baryon asymmetry for the standard cosmological model. In this manuscript, we investigate the gravitational baryogenesis for the generation of baryon asymmetry in the early Universe by using an new higher-order generalized uncertainty principle (GUP). It is demonstrated that the entropy and Friedman equation of the Universe deviate from the original cases due to the effect of the higher-order GUP. Those modifications break the thermal equilibrium of the Universe and in turn produces a non-zero asymmetry factor $η$. In particular, our results satisfy all three Sakharov conditions, which indicates that the scheme of explaining baryon asymmetry in the framework of higher-order GUP is feasible. In addition, confronting our theoretical results with the observational results, we constraint the GUP parameter $β_0$, whose bound between $8.4 \times {10^{10}} \sim 1.1 \times {10^{13}}$.

Quantum corrections to the thermodynamics and phase transition of a black hole surrounded by a cavity in the extended phase space

In the extended phase space, we investigate the rainbow gravity-corrected thermodynamic phenomena and phase structure of the Schwarzschild black hole surrounded by a spherical cavity. The results show that rainbow gravity has a very significant effect on the thermodynamic phenomena and phase structure of the black hole. It prevents the black hole from total evaporation and leads to a remnant with a limited temperature but no mass. Additionally, we restore the $P-V$ criticality and obtaine the critical quantities of the canonical ensemble. When the temperature or pressure is smaller than the critical quantities, the system undergoes two Hawking-Page-like phase transitions and one first-order phase transition, which never occurs in the original case. Remarkably, our findings demonstrate that the thermodynamic behavior and phase transition of the rainbow SC black hole surrounded by a cavity in the extended phase space are analogous to those of the Reissner-Nordström anti-de Sitter black hole. Therefore, rainbow gravity activates the effect of electric charge and cutoff factor in the evolution of the black hole.

The generalized uncertainty principle impact onto the black hole thermodynamic phase transition

In this work, we conduct a study regarding the thermodynamic evolution and the phase transition of a black hole in a finite spherical cavity subject to the generalized uncertainty principle. The results demonstrate that both the positive and negative generalized uncertainty principle parameters $β_0$ can significantly affect the thermodynamic quantities, stability, critical behavior, and phase transition of the black hole. For $β_0>0$, the black hole forms a remnant with finite temperature, finite mass, and zero local heat capacity in the last stages of evolution, which can be regarded as an elementary particle. Meanwhile, it undergoes one second-order phase transition and two Hawking-Page-type phase transitions. The Gross-Perry-Yaffe phase transition occurs for both large black hole configuration and small black hole configuration. For $β_0<0$, the Gross-Perry-Yaffe phase transition occurs only for large black hole configuration, and the temperature and heat capacity of black hole remnant is finite, whereas its mass is zero. This indicates the remnant is metastable and would be in the Hawking-Page-type phase transition forever. Specifically, according to the viewpoint of corpuscular gravity, the remnant can be interpreted as an additional metastable tiny black hole configuration, which never appears in the original case and the positive correction case.

Rainbow gravity corrections to the information flux of a black hole and the sparsity of Hawking radiation

In this paper, by utilizing the rainbow functions that were proposed by Amelino-Camelia \emph{et al}., the information flux of rainbow Schwarzschild black hole and the sparsity of Hawking radiation in rainbow gravity are explored. The results show that the rainbow gravity has a very significant effect on the information flux. When the mass of rainbow Schwarzschild black hole approaches to the order of Planck scale, the Bekenstein entropy loss per emitted quanta in terms of the mass of Schwarzschild black hole reduces to zero. Furthermore, we also find the sparsity of Hawking radiation in rainbow gravity is no longer a constant; instead, it monotonically decreases as the mass of black hole decrease. At the final stages of evaporation, the modified sparsity becomes infinity, which indicates the effect of quantum gravity stops Hawking radiation and leads to remnant.

The thermodynamics and phase transition of a rainbow black hole

In this work, we construct a new kind of rainbow functions, which has generalized uncertainty principle parameter. Then, we investigate modified thermodynamic quantities and phase transition of rainbow Schwarzschild black hole by employing this new kind of rainbow functions. Our results demonstrate that the rainbow gravity and generalized uncertainty principle have a great effect on the picture of Hawking radiation. They prevent black holes from total evaporation and cause a remnant. In addition, after analyzing the modified local thermodynamic quantities, we find that the effect of rainbow gravity and the generalized uncertainty principle lead to one first-order phase transition, two second-order phase transitions, and two Hawking-Page-type phase transitions in the thermodynamic system of rainbow Schwarzschild black hole.

Rainbow gravity corrections to the entropic force

The entropic force attracts a lot of interest for its multifunctional properties. For instance, Einstein's field equation, Newton's law of gravitation and the Friedmann equation can be derived from the entropic force. In this paper, utilizing a new kind of rainbow gravity model that was proposed by Magueijo and Smolin, we explore the quantum gravity corrections to the entropic force. First, we derive the modified thermodynamics of a rainbow black hole via its surface gravity. Then, according to Verlinde's theory, the quantum corrections to the entropic force are obtained. The result shows that the modified entropic force is related not only to the properties of the black hole but also the Planck length $\ell_p$, and the rainbow parameter $γ$. Furthermore, based on the rainbow gravity corrected entropic force, the modified Einstein's field equation and the modified Friedmann equation are also derived.

Thermodynamic phase transition of a black hole in rainbow gravity

In this letter, using the rainbow functions that were proposed by Magueijo and Smolin, we investigate the thermodynamics and the phase transition of rainbow Schwarzschild black hole. First, we calculate the rainbow gravity corrected Hawking temperature. From this modification, we then derive the local temperature, free energy, and other thermodynamic quantities in an isothermal cavity. Finally, we analyze the critical behavior, thermodynamic stability, and phase transition of the rainbow Schwarzschild black hole. The results show that the rainbow gravity can stop the Hawking radiation in the final stages of black holes' evolution and lead to the remnants of black holes. Furthermore, one can observe that the rainbow Schwarzschild black hole has one first-order phase transition, two second-order phase transitions, and three Hawking-Page-type phase transitions in the framework of rainbow gravity theory.

The Effects of Minimal Length, Maximal Momentum and Minimal Momentum in Entropic Force

In this paper, the modified entropic force law is studied by using a new kind of generalized uncertainty principle which contains a minimal length, a minimal momentum and a maximal momentum. Firstly, the quantum corrections to the thermodynamics of a black hole is investigated. Then, according to Verlinde's theory, the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP) corrected entropic force is obtained. The result shows that the GUP corrected entropic force is related not only to the properties of the black holes, but also to the Planck length and the dimensionless constants $α_{\rm{0}}$ and $β_{\rm{0}}$. Moreover, based on the GUP corrected entropic force, we also derive the modified Einstein's field equation (EFE) and the modified Friedmann equation.

Thermodynamics and Phase transition of Schwarzschild black hole in Gravity's Rainbow

The Planck length and Planck energy should be taken as invariant scales are in agreement with various theories of quantum gravity. In this scenario, the original general relativity can be changed to the so-called gravity's rainbow which produces significant modifications to the black holes' evolution. In this paper, using two kinds of rainbow functions, we investigate the thermodynamics and the phase transition of Schwarzschild black hole in the context of gravity's rainbow theory. Firstly, with the help of the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, we calculate the modified Hawking temperature. Then, based on this modification, we derive the local temperature, free energy and other thermodynamic quantities in an isothermal cavity. Finally, the critical behavior, the thermodynamic stability and phase transition of the rainbow Schwarzschild black hole are analyzed. It turns out that our results are different from the those of Hawking-Page phase transition. Meanwhile, it is found that there are many similarities and differences between rainbow functions I case and rainbow functions II.
