Tilting theory for finite dimensional 11-Iwanaga-Gorenstein algebras

In representation theory of graded Iwanaga-Gorenstein algebras, tilting theory of the stable category CM‾ZA\underline{\mathsf{CM}}^{\mathbb{Z}} A of graded Cohen-Macaulay modules plays a prominent role. In this paper we study the following two central problems of tilting theory of CM‾ZA\underline{\mathsf{CM}}^{\mathbb{Z}} A in the case where AA is finite dimensional: (1) Does CM‾ZA\underline{\mathsf{CM}}^{\mathbb{Z}} A have a tilting object? (2) Does the endomorphism algebras of tilting objects in CM‾ZA\underline{\mathsf{CM}}^{\mathbb{Z}} A have finite global dimension? To the problem (2) we give the complete answer. We show that the endomorphism algebra of any tilting object in CM‾ZA\underline{\mathsf{CM}}^{\mathbb{Z}}A has finite global dimension. To the problem (1) we give a partial answer. For this purpose, first we introduce an invariant g(A)g(A) for a finite dimensional graded algebra AA. Then, we prove that in the case where AA is 1-Iwanaga-Gorenstein, an inequality for g(A)g(A) gives a sufficient condition that a specific Cohen-Macaulay module VV becomes a tilting object in the stable category. As an application, we study the existence of tilting objects in CM‾ZΠ(Q)w\underline{\mathsf{CM}}^{\mathbb{Z}}Π(Q)_w where Π(Q)wΠ(Q)_w is the truncated preprojective algebra of a quiver QQ associated to w∈WQw\in W_Q. We prove that if the underling graph of QQ is tree, then CM‾ZΠ(Q)w\underline{\mathsf{CM}}^{\mathbb{Z}}Π(Q)_w has a tilting object.

On deformed preprojective algebras

Deformed preprojective algebras are generalizations of the usual preprojective algebras introduced by Crawley-Boevey and Holland, which have applications to Kleinian singularities, the Deligne-Simpson problem, integrable systems and noncommutative geometry. In this paper we offer three contributions to the study of such algebras: (1) the 2-Calabi-Yau property; (2) the unification of the reflection functors of Crawley-Boevey and Holland with reflection functors for the usual preprojective algebras; and (3) the classification of tilting ideals in 2-Calabi-Yau algebras, and especially in deformed preprojective algebras for extended Dynkin quivers.

Tilting and silting theory of noetherian algebras

We develop silting theory of a noetherian algebra ΛΛ over a commutative noetherian ring RR. We study mutation theory of 22-term silting complexes of ΛΛ, and as a consequence, we see that mutation exists. As in the case of finite dimensional algebras, functorially finite torsion classes of ΛΛ bijectively correspond to silting ΛΛ-modules, if RR is complete local. We show a reduction theorem of 22-term silting complexes of ΛΛ, and by using this theorem, we study torsion classes of the module category of ΛΛ. When RR has Krull dimension one, we describe the set of torsion classes of ΛΛ explicitly by using the set of torsion classes of finite dimensional algebras.

Tilting and cluster tilting for preprojective algebras and Coxeter groups

We study the stable category of the factor algebra of the preprojective algebra associated with an element ww of the Coxeter group of a quiver. We show that there exists a silting object M(w)M(\bf{w}) of this category associated with each reduced expression w\bf{w} of ww and give a sufficient condition on w\bf{w} such that M(w)M(\bf{w}) is a tilting object. In particular, the stable category is triangle equivalent to the derived category of the endomorphism algebra of M(w)M(\bf{w}). Moreover, we compare it with a triangle equivalence given by Amiot-Reiten-Todorov for a cluster category.

Highest weight representations and Kac determinants for a class of conformal Galilei algebras with central extension

We investigate the representations of a class of conformal Galilei algebras in one spatial dimension with central extension. This is done by explicitly constructing all singular vectors within the Verma modules, proving their completeness and then deducing irreducibility of the associated highest weight quotient modules. A resulting classification of infinite dimensional irreducible modules is presented. It is also shown that a formula for the Kac determinant is deduced from our construction of singular vectors. Thus we prove a conjecture of Dobrev, Doebner and Mrugalla for the case of the Schrodinger algebra.
