Stochastic differential equations with respect to optional semimartingales and two reflecting regulated barriers

In this work, we introduce a new Skorokhod problem with two reflecting barriers when the trajectories of the driven process and the barriers are right and left limited. We show that this problem has an explicit unique solution in a deterministic case. Then, we apply our result to study the existence and uniqueness of solutions of reflected stochastic differential equations with respect to optional semimartingales. The study is carried out on a probability space that does not necessarily satisfy the usual conditions.

An ideal class to construct solutions for skew Brownian motion equations

This paper contributes to the study of stochastic processes of the class $(Σ)$. First, we extend the notion of the above-mentioned class to càdlàg semi-martingales, whose finite variational part is considered càdlàg instead of continuous. Thus, we present some properties and propose a method to characterize such stochastic processes. Second, we investigate continuous processes of the class $(Σ)$. More precisely, we derive a series of new characterization results. In addition, we construct solutions for skew Brownian motion equations using continuous stochastic processes of the class $(Σ)$.

Large deviation for lasso diffusion process

The aim of the present paper is to extend the large deviation with discontinuous statistics studied in \cite{BDE} to the diffusion $d\mathbf{x}^\varepsilon = -\{\mathbf{A}^\top (\mathbf{A} \mathbf{x}^\varepsilon - \mathbf{y}) + μsgn(\mathbf{x}^\varepsilon)\}dt + \varepsilon d\mathbf{w}$. The discontinuity of the drift of the diffusion discussed in \cite{BDE} is equal to the hyperplane $\{\mathbf{x} \in \mathbb{R}^d:\ x_1=0\}$, however, in our case the discontinuity is more complex and is equal to the set $\{\mathbf{x} \in \mathbb{R}^d:\ \prod_{i=1}^dx_i=0\}$.

Least squares estimator for non-ergodic Ornstein-Uhlenbeck processes driven by Gaussian processes

The statistical analysis for equations driven by fractional Gaussian process (fGp) is relatively recent. The development of stochastic calculus with respect to the fGp allowed to study such models. In the present paper we consider the drift parameter estimation problem for the non-ergodic Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process defined as $dX_t=θX_tdt+dG_t,\ t\geq0$ with an unknown parameter $θ>0$, where $G$ is a Gaussian process. We provide sufficient conditions, based on the properties of $G$, ensuring the strong consistency and the asymptotic distribution of our estimator $\widetildeθ_t$ of $θ$ based on the observation $\{X_s,\ s\in[0,t]\}$ as $t\rightarrow\infty$. Our approach offers an elementary, unifying proof of \cite{BEO}, and it allows to extend the result of \cite{BEO} to the case when $G$ is a fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter $H\in(0,1)$. We also discuss the cases of subfractional Brownian motion and bifractional Brownian motion.

Strong envelope and strong supermartingale: application to reflected bsdes

We provide several characterizations to identify Strong envelop (for bounded measurable process) and Strong super-martingale (for non-negative right upper semi-continuous process of the class $\Dc$). As examples of application, we prove existence and uniqueness of reflected backward stochastic differential equation with lower barrier (RBSDB in short) in two cases: $i)$. the obstacle is a measurable bounded process; $ii)$. the obstacle is a right upper semicontinuous optional process of class $\Dc$.

On countably skewed Brownian motion with accumulation point

In this work we connect the theory of Dirichlet forms and direct stochastic calculus to obtain strong existence and pathwise uniqueness for Brownian motion that is perturbed by a series of constant multiples of local times at a sequence of points that has exactly one accumulation point in $\mathbb{R}$. The considered process is identified as special distorted Brownian motion $X$ in dimension one and is studied thoroughly. Besides strong uniqueness, we present necessary and sufficient conditions for non-explosion, recurrence and positive recurrence as well as for $X$ to be semimartingale and possible applications to advection-diffusion in layered media.

On the study of processes of classes $\sum(H)$ and $\sum_{s}(H)$

In papers by Yor, a remarkable class $(Σ)$ of submartingales is introduced, which, up to technicalities, are submartingales $(X_{t})_{t\geq0}$ whose increasing process is carried by the times $t$ such that $X_{t}=0$. These submartingales have several applications in stochastic analysis: for example, the resolution of Skorokhod embedding problem, the study of Brownian local times and the study of zeros of continuous martingales. The submartingales of class $(Σ)$ have been extensively studied in a series of articles by Nikeghbali (part of them in collaboration with Najnudel, some others with Cheridito and Platen). On the other hand, stochastic calculus has been extended to signed measures by Ruiz de Chavez \cite{chav} and Beghdadi-Sakrani \cite{sak}. In \cite{f}, the authors of the present paper have extended the notion of submartingales of class $(Σ)$ to the setting of Ruiz de Chavez \cite{chav} and Beghdadi-Sakrani \cite{sak}, giving two different classes of stochastic processes named classes $\sum(H)$ and $\sum_{s}(H)$ where from tools of the theory of stochastic calculus for signed measures, the authors provide general frameworks and methods for dealing with processes of these classes. In this work, we first give some formulas of multiplicative decomposition for processes of these classes. Afterward, we shall establish some representation results allowing to recover any process of one of these classes from its final value and the last time it visited the origin.

Reflected backward stochastic differential equations with jumps in time-dependent random convex domains

In this paper, we study a class of multi-dimensional reflected backward stochastic differential equations when the noise is driven by a Brownian motion and an independent Poisson point process, and when the solution is forced to stay in a time-dependent adapted and continuous convex domain ${\cal{D}}=\{D_t, t\in[0,T]\}$. We prove the existence an uniqueness of the solution, and we also show that the solution of such equations may be approximated by backward stochastic differential equations with jumps reflected in appropriately defined discretizations of $\cal{D}$, via a penalization method.

IDT processes and associated Lévy processes

This article deals with IDT processes, i.e. processes which are infinitely divisible with respect to time. Given an IDT process $(X_{t},\,t\geq0)$, there exists a unique (in law) Lévy process $(L_{t}; t\geq0)$ which has the same one-dimensional marginals distributions, i.e for any $t\geq0$ fixed, we have $$X_{t}\stackrel{(law)}{=}L_{t}.$$ Such processes are said to be associated. The main objective of this work is to exhibit numerous examples of IDT processes and their associated Lévy processes. To this end, we take up ideas of the monograph \textit{Peacocks and associated martingales} from F. Hirsch, C. Profeta, B. Roynette and M. Yor (Lévy, Sato and Gaussian sheet methods) and apply them in the framework of IDT processes. This gives a new interesting outlook to the study of processes whose only one-dimensional marginals are known. Also, we give an integrated weak Itô type formula for IDT processes (in the same spirit as the one for Gaussian processes) and some links between IDT processes and selfdecomposability. The last sections are devoted to the study of some extensions of the notion of IDT processes in the weak sense as well as in the multiparameter sense. In particular, a new approach for multiparameter IDT processes is introduced and studied. Main examples of this kind of processes are the $\mathbb{R}_{+}^{N}$-parameter Lévy process and the Lévy's $\mathbb{R}^{M}$-parameter Brownian motion. These results give some better understanding of IDT processes, and may be seen as some continuation of the works of K. Es-Sebaiy and Y. Ouknine [\textit{How rich is the class of processes which are infinitely divisible with respect to time ?}] and R. Mansuy [\textit{On processes which are infinitely divisible with respect to time}].

Quadratic BSDEs with $\mathbb{L}^2$--terminal data Existence results, Krylov's estimate and Itô--Krylov's formula

In a first step, we establish the existence (and sometimes the uniqueness) of solutions for a large class of quadratic backward stochastic differential equations (QBSDEs) with continuous generator and a merely square integrable terminal condition. Our approach is different from those existing in the literature. Although we are focused on QBSDEs, our existence result also covers the BSDEs with linear growth, keeping $ξ$ square integrable in both cases. As byproduct, the existence of viscosity solutions is established for a class of quadratic partial differential equations (QPDEs) with a square integrable terminal datum. In a second step, we consider QBSDEs with measurable generator for which we establish a Krylov's type a priori estimate for the solutions. We then deduce an Itô--Krylov's change of variable formula. This allows us to establish various existence and uniqueness results for classes of QBSDEs with square integrable terminal condition and sometimes a merely measurable generator. Our results show, in particular, that neither the existence of exponential moments of the terminal datum nor the continuity of the generator are necessary to the existence and/or uniqueness of solutions for quadratic BSDEs. Some comparison theorems are also established for solutions of a class of QBSDEs.

A note on $α$-IDT processes

In this note, we introduce the notion of $α$-IDT processes which is obtained from a slight and fundamental modification of the IDT property. Several examples of $α$-IDT processes are given and Gaussian processes which are $α$-IDT are characterized. A kind example of this Gaussian $α$-IDT is the standard fractional Brownian motion. Also, we invest some links between the $α$-IDT property, with selfdecomposability, temporal selfdecomposability, stability and self similarity.

New classes of processes in stochastic calculus for signed measures

Let us consider a signed measure $\Qv$ and a probability measure $\Pv$ such that $\Qv<<\Pv$. Let $D$ be the density of $\Qv$ with respect to $\Pv$. $H$ represents the set of zeros of $D$, $\bar{g}=0\vee\sup{H}$. In this paper, we shall consider two classes of nonnegative processes of the form $X_{t}=N_{t}+A_{t}$. The first one is the class of semimartingales where $ND$ is a cadlag local martingale and $A$ is a continuous and non-decreasing process such that $(dA_{t})$ is carried by $H\cup\{t: X_{t}=0\}$. The second one is the case where $N$ and $A$ are null on $H$ and $A_{.+\bar{g}}$ is a non-decreasing, continuous process such that $(dA_{t+\bar{g}})$ is carried by $\{t: X_{t+\bar{g}}=0\}$. We shall show that these classes are extensions of the class $(\sum)$ defined by A.Nikeghbali \cite{nik} in the framework of stochastic calculus for signed measures.

Parameter Estimation for Fractional Ornstein-Uhlenbeck Processes: Non-ergodic Case

We consider the parameter estimation problem for the non-ergodic fractional Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process defined as $dX_t=θX_tdt+dB_t,\ t\geq0$, with a parameter $θ>0$, where $B$ is a fractional Brownian motion of Hurst index $H\in(1/2,1)$. We study the consistency and the asymptotic distributions of the least squares estimator $\hatθ_t$ of $θ$ based on the observation $\{X_s,\ s\in[0,t]\}$ as $t\rightarrow\infty$.

On Itô's formula for symmetric $α$-stable Lévy process of index $1<α\leq 2 $

We use Young integration (resp, bounded $p,q$-variation theory introduced in \cite{Feng-Zhao}) to establish integration of determinate functions with respect to local time of symmetric $α$-stable Lévy process, for $α\in ]1,2]$, in one parameter case (resp, in two parameter case). We then apply these integrals to write the corresponding generalized Itô formula. Furthermore, some approximations schemes of the area integral w.r.t local time are given.

On one-dimensional stochastic differential equations involving the maximum process

We prove existence and pathwise uniqueness results for four different types of stochastic differential equations (SDEs) perturbed by the past maximum process and/or the local time at zero. Along the first three studies, the coefficients are no longer Lipschitz. The first type is the equation \label{eq1} X_{t}=\int_{0}^{t}σ(s,X_{s})dW_{s}+\int_{0}^{t}b(s,X_{s})ds+α\max_{0\leq s\leq t}X_{s}. The second type is the equation \label{eq2} {l} X_{t} =\ig{0}{t}σ(s,X_{s})dW_{s}+\ig{0}{t}b(s,X_{s})ds+α\max_{0\leq s\leq t}X_{s}\,\,+L_{t}^{0}, X_{t} \geq 0, \forall t\geq 0. The third type is the equation \label{eq3} X_{t}=x+W_{t}+\int_{0}^{t}b(X_{s},\max_{0\leq u\leq s}X_{u})ds. We end the paper by establishing the existence of strong solution and pathwise uniqueness, under Lipschitz condition, for the SDE \label{e2} X_t=ξ+\int_0^t \si(s,X_s)dW_s +\int_0^t b(s,X_s)ds +\al\max_{0\leq s\leq t}X_s +\be \min_{0\leq s \leq t}X_s.
