Fully heavy pentaquarks in quark models

The fully heavy pentaquarks cccccˉcccc\bar{c} and bbbbbˉbbbb\bar{b} are systematically investigated within the chiral quark model and quark delocalization color screening model. The results are consistent in both two moelds, and the effect of the channel-coupling is crucial for forming a bound state of the fully heavy pentaquark system. Three possible fully heavy pentaquarks are obtained, which are the cccccˉcccc\bar{c} state with JP=1/2−J^P = 1/2^- and the mass of 7891.9∼7892.77891.9 \sim 7892.7 MeV, the bbbbbˉbbbb\bar{b} state with JP=1/2−J^P=1/2^- and the mass of 23810.1∼23813.823810.1 \sim 23813.8 MeV, and the bbbbbˉbbbb\bar{b} state with JP=3/2−J^P = 3/2^- and the mass of 23748.2∼23752.323748.2 \sim 23752.3 MeV. All these fully heavy pentaquark states are worth searching in future experiments.

Investigation of hidden-charm pentaquarks with strangeness S=−1S=-1

Recently, a new hidden-charm pentaquark state Pcs(4459)P_{cs}(4459) was reported by the LHCb Collaboration. Stimulated by the fact that all hidden-charm pentaquark states in S=0S=0 systems were successfully predicted by our chiral quark model, we extended this study to the S=−1S=-1 systems. All possible quantum numbers IJP=0(12)−IJ^P=0(\frac{1}{2})^-, 0(32)−0(\frac{3}{2})^-, 0(52)−0(\frac{5}{2})^-, 1(12)−1(\frac{1}{2})^-, 1(32)−1(\frac{3}{2})^- and 1(52)−1(\frac{5}{2})^- have been investigated. The calculation results shows that the newly observed state Pcs(4459)P_{cs}(4459) can be explained as ΞcDˉ∗Ξ_c \bar{D}^* molecular state and the quantum number is 0(12)−0(\frac{1}{2})^-. In addition, we also find other molecular states ΞcDˉΞ_c \bar{D}, Ξc∗DˉΞ_c^* \bar{D} and Ξc′Dˉ∗Ξ_c' \bar{D}^*. It is worth mentioning that ΞcDˉ∗Ξ_c \bar{D}^* can form a two-peak structure from states in system 0(12)−0(\frac{1}{2})^- and 0(32)−0(\frac{3}{2})^-. The decay width of all molecular states is given with the help of real scaling method. These hidden-charm pentaquark states is expected to be further verified in future experiments.

Investigation of qqqsqˉqqqs\bar q pentaquarks in a chiral quark model

We investigate the pentaquark system qqqsqˉqqqs \bar q in a framework of chiral quark model. Two structures, (qqq)(sqˉ)(qqq)(s\bar{q}) and (qqs)(qqˉ)(qqs)(q\bar{q}), with all possible color, spin, flavor configurations are considered. The calculations show that there are several possible resonance states, SigmaπSigma π and NKˉN \bar{K} state with IJP=012−IJ^P=0\frac{1}{2}^-, Σ∗πΣ^* π with IJP=032−IJ^P=0\frac{3}{2}^-, Σ∗ρΣ^* ρ with IJP=052−IJ^P=0\frac{5}{2}^-, ΔKˉΔ\bar{K} with IJP=132−IJ^P=1\frac{3}{2}^- and ΔKˉ∗Δ\bar{K}^* with IJP=152−IJ^P=1\frac{5}{2}^-. Where the NKˉN \bar{K} state with IJP=012−IJ^P=0\frac{1}{2}^- can be used to explain the Λ(1405)Λ(1405), and together with another state ΣπΣπ is related to the two-pole structure of the scattering amplitude proposed before. The decay properties of Λ(1520)Λ(1520) prevent the assignment of Σ∗πΣ^* π with IJP=032−IJ^P=0\frac{3}{2}^- to Λ(1520)Λ(1520), although the energy ∼\sim 1518 MeV of Σ∗πΣ^* π is close to experimental value of Λ(1520)Λ(1520). Other resonance states generally have a large width.
