We show that the only transitive and generically $4$-transitive action of a group of finite Morley rank on a set of Morley rank $2$ is the natural action of $\operatorname{PGL}_3$ on the projective plane.
An $\mathfrak{M}_C$ group is a group in which all chains of centralizers have finite length. In this article, we show that every nilpotent subgroup of an $\mathfrak{M}_C$ group is contained in a definable subgroup which is nilpotent of the same nilpotence class. Definitions are uniform when the lengths of chains are bounded.
The Arithmetic is interpreted in all the groups of Richard Thompson and Graham Higman, as well as in other groups of piecewise affine permutations of an interval which generalize the groups of Thompson and Higman. In particular, the elementary theories of all these groups are undecidable. Moreover, Thompson's group $F$ and some of its generalizations interpret the Arithmetic without parameters.
