Heat kernels of generalized degenerate Schrödinger operators and Hardy spaces

Let $\displaystyle L = -\frac{1}{w} \, \mathrm{div}(A \, \nabla u) + μ$ be the generalized degenerate Schrödinger operator in $L^2_w(\mathbb{R}^d)$ with $d\ge 3$ with suitable weight $w$ and measure $μ$. The main aim of this paper is threefold. First, we obtain an upper bound for the fundamental solution of the operator $L$. Secondly, we prove some estimates for the heat kernel of $L$ including an upper bound, the Hölder continuity and a comparison estimate. Finally, we apply the results to study the maximal function characterization for the Hardy spaces associated to the critical function generated by the operator $L$.

Weighted estimates for powers and Smoothing estimates of Schrödinger operators with inverse-square potentials

Let $\mathcal{L}_a$ be a Schrödinger operator with inverse square potential $a|x|^{-2}$ on $\mathbb{R}^d, d\geq 3$. The main aim of this paper is to prove weighted estimates for fractional powers of $\mathcal{L}_a$. The proof is based on weighted Hardy inequalities and weighted inequalities for square functions associated to $\mathcal{L}_a$. As an application, we obtain smoothing estimates regarding the propagator $e^{it\mathcal{L}_a}$.

$T1$ criterions for generalised Calderón--Zygmund type operators on Hardy and BMO spaces associated to Schrödinger operators and applications

Suppose $L=-Δ+V$ is a Schrödinger operator on $\mathbb{R}^n$ with a potential $V$ belonging to certain reverse Hölder class $RH_σ$ with $σ\geq n/2$. The main aim of this paper is to provide necessary and sufficient conditions in terms of $T1$ criteria for a generalised Calderón--Zygmund type operator with respect to $L$ to be bounded on Hardy spaces $H^p_L(\mathbb{R}^n)$ and on BMO type spaces BMO$_L^α(\mathbb{R}^n)$ associated with $L$. As applications, we prove the boundedness for several singular integral operators associated to $L$. Our approach is flexible enough to prove the boundedness of the Riesz transforms related to $L$ with $n/2 \leq σ<n$ which were investigated in \cite{MSTZ} under the stronger condition $σ\geq n$. Thus our results not only recover existing results in \cite{MSTZ} but also contains new results in literature.

Weighted bounds for multilinear operators with non-smooth kernels

Let $T$ be a multilinear integral operator which is bounded on certain products of Lebesgue spaces on $\mathbb R^n$. We assume that its associated kernel satisfies some mild regularity condition which is weaker than the usual Hölder continuity of those in the class of multilinear Calderón-Zygmund singular integral operators. In this paper, given a suitable multiple weight $\vec{w}$, we obtain the bound for the weighted norm of multilinear operators $T$ in terms of $\vec{w}$. As applications, we exploit this result to obtain the weighted bounds for certain singular integral operators such as linear and multilinear Fourier multipliers and the Riesz transforms associated to Schrödinger operators on $\mathbb{R}^n$. Our results are new even in the linear case.

Weighted bounds for multilinear square functions

Let $\vec{P}=(p_1,\dotsc,p_m)$ with $1<p_1,\dotsc,p_m<\infty$, $1/p_1+\dotsb+1/p_m=1/p$ and $\vec{w}=(w_1,\dotsc,w_m)\in A_{\vec{P}}$. In this paper, we investigate the weighted bounds with dependence on aperture $α$ for multilinear square functions $S_{α,ψ}(\vec{f})$. We show that $$ \|S_{α,ψ}(\vec{f})\|_{L^p(ν_{\vec{w}})} \leq C_{n,m,ψ,\vec{P}}~ α^{mn}[\vec{w}]_{A_{\vec{P}}}^{\max(\frac{1}{2},\tfrac{p_1'}{p},\dotsc,\tfrac{p_m'}{p})} \prod_{i=1}^m \|f_i\|_{L^{p_i}(w_i)}. $$ This result extends the result in the linear case which was obtained by Lerner in 2014. Our proof is based on the local mean oscillation technique presented firstly to find the weighted bounds for Calderón--Zygmund operators. This method helps us avoiding intrinsic square functions in the proof of our main result.

Musielak-Orlicz-Hardy Spaces Associated with Operators Satisfying Reinforced Off-Diagonal Estimates

Let $\mathcal{X}$ be a metric space with doubling measure and $L$ a one-to-one operator of type $ω$ having a bounded $H_\infty$-functional calculus in $L^2(\mathcal{X})$ satisfying the reinforced $(p_L, q_L)$ off-diagonal estimates on balls, where $p_L\in[1,2)$ and $q_L\in(2,\infty]$. Let $φ:\,\mathcal{X}\times[0,\infty)\to[0,\infty)$ be a function such that $φ(x,\cdot)$ is an Orlicz function, $φ(\cdot,t)\in {\mathbb A}_{\infty}(\mathcal{X})$ (the class of uniformly Muckenhoupt weights), its uniformly critical upper type index $I(φ)\in(0,1]$ and $φ(\cdot,t)$ satisfies the uniformly reverse Hölder inequality of order $(q_L/I(φ))'$. In this paper, the authors introduce a Musielak-Orlicz-Hardy space $H_{φ,\,L}(\mathcal{X})$, via the Lusin-area function associated with $L$, and establish its molecular characterization. In particular, when $L$ is nonnegative self-adjoint and satisfies the Davies-Gaffney estimates, the atomic characterization of $H_{φ,\,L}(\mathcal{X})$ is also obtained. Furthermore, a sufficient condition for the equivalence between $H_{φ,\,L}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ and the classical Musielak-Orlicz-Hardy space $H_φ(\mathbb{R}^n)$ is given. Moreover, for the Musielak-Orlicz-Hardy space $H_{φ,\,L}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ associated with the second order elliptic operator in divergence form on $\rn$ or the Schrödinger operator $L:=-Δ+V$ with $0\le V\in L^1_{\mathrm{loc}}(\mathbb{R}^n)$, the authors further obtain its several equivalent characterizations in terms of various non-tangential and radial maximal functions; finally, the authors discuss the boundedness of the Riesz transform $\nabla L^{-1/2}$.

Weighted BMO spaces associated to operators

Let $X$ be a metric space equipped with a metric $d$ and a nonnegative Borel measure $μ$ satisfying the doubling property and let $\{\mathcal{A}_t\}_{t>0}$, be a generalized approximations to the identity, for example $\{\mathcal{A}_t\}$ is a holomorphic semigroup $e^{-tL}$ with Gaussian upper bounds generated by an operators $L$ on $L^2(X)$. In this paper, we introduce and study the weighted BMO space BMO$_\mathcal{A}(X,w)$ associated to the the family \{\mathcal{A}_t\}$. We show that for these spaces, the weighted John-Nirenberg inequality holds and we establish an interpolation theorem in scale of weighted $L^p$ spaces. As applications, we prove the boundedness of two singular integrals with non-smooth kernels on the weighted BMO space BMO$_\mathcal{A}(X,w)$.

Boundedness of singular integrals and their commutators with BMO functions on Hardy spaces

In this paper, we establish sufficient conditions for a singular integral $T$ to be bounded from certain Hardy spaces $H^p_L$ to Lebesgue spaces $L^p$, $0< p \le 1$, and for the commutator of $T$ and a BMO function to be weak-type bounded on Hardy space $H_L^1$. We then show that our sufficient conditions are applicable to the following cases: (i) $T$ is the Riesz transform or a square function associated with the Laplace-Beltrami operator on a doubling Riemannian manifold, (ii) $T$ is the Riesz transform associated with the magnetic Schrödinger operator on an Euclidean space, and (iii) $T = g(L) $ is a singular integral operator defined from the holomorphic functional calculus of an operator $L$ or the spectral multiplier of a non-negative self adjoint operator $L$.

New class of multiple weights and new weighted inequalities for multilinear operators

In this paper, we first introduce the new class of multiple weights $A^\vc_{\vec{p}}$ which is larger than the class of multiple weights in \cite{LOPTG}. Then, using this class of weights, we study the weighted norm inequalities for certain classes of multilinear operators and their commutators with new BMO functions introduced by \cite{BHS1}. Finally, we show that some multilinear pseudodifferential operators fall within the scope of the theory obtained in this paper.

Weighted estimates for commutators of some singular integrals related to Schrödinger operators

Let $L=-Δ+V$ with non-negative potential $V$ satisfying some appropriate reverse Hölder inequality. In this paper, we study the boundedness of the commutators of some singular integrals associated to $L$ such as Riesz transforms and fractional integrals with the new BMO functions introduced in \cite{BHS1} on the weighted spaces $L^p(w)$ where $w$ belongs to the new classes of weights introduced by \cite{BHS2}.

Weighted Hardy spaces associated to operators and boundedness of singular integrals

Let $(X, d, μ)$ be a space of homogeneous type, i.e. the measure $μ$ satisfies doubling (volume) property with respect to the balls defined by the metric $d$. Let $L$ be a non-negative self-adjoint operator on $L^2(X)$. Assume that the semigroup of $L$ satisfies the Davies-Gaffney estimates. In this paper, we study the weighted Hardy spaces $H^p_{L,w}(X)$, $0 < p \le 1$, associated to the operator $L$ on the space $X$. We establish the atomic and the molecular characterizations of elements in $H^p_{L,w}(X)$. As applications, we obtain the boundedness on $\HL$ for the generalized Riesz transforms associated to $L$ and for the spectral multipliers of $L$.

Weighted norm inequalities for multilinear operators and applications to multilinear Fourier multipliers

Let $T$ be a multilinear operator which is bounded on certain products of unweighted Lebesgue spaces of $\mathbb R^n$. We assume that the associated kernel of $T$ satisfies some mild regularity condition which is weaker than the usual Hölder continuity of those in the class of multilinear Calderón-Zygmund singular integral operators. We then show the boundedness for $T$ and the boundedness of the commutator of $T$ with BMO functions on products of weighted Lebesgue spaces of $\mathbb R^n$. As an application, we obtain the weighted norm inequalities of multilinear Fourier multipliers and of their commutators with BMO functions on the products of weighted Lebesgue spaces when the number of derivatives of the symbols is the same as the best known result for the multilinear Fourier multipliers to be bounded on the products of unweighted Lebesgue spaces.

Weighted norm inequalities for pseudo-differential operators and their commutators

This paper is dedicated to study weighted $L^p$ inequalities for pseudo-differential operators with amplitudes and their commutators by using the new class of weights $A_p^\vc$ and the new BMO function space BMO$_\vc$ which are larger than the Muckenhoupt class of weights $A_p$ and classical BMO space BMO, respectively. The obtained results therefore improve substantially some well-known results.

Weighted norm inequalities for spectral multipliers without Gaussian estimates

Let $L$ be a non-negative self-adjoint operator on $L^2(\mathbb{R}^n)$. By spectral theory, we can define the operator $F(L)$, which is bounded on $L^2(X)$, for any bounded Borel function $F$. In this paper, we study the sharp weighted $L^p$ estimates for spectral multipliers $F(L)$ and their commutators $[b, F(L)]$ with BMO functions $b$. We would like to emphasize that the Gaussian upper bound condition on the heat kernels associated to the semigroups $e^{-tL}$ is not assumed in this paper.

Hardy spaces, Regularized BMO spaces and the boundedness of Calderón-Zygmund operators on non-homogeneous spaces

One defines a non-homogeneous space $(X, μ)$ as a metric space equipped with a non-doubling measure $μ$ so that the volume of the ball with center $x$, radius $r$ has an upper bound of the form $r^n$ for some $n> 0$. The aim of this paper is to study the boundedness of a Calderón-Zygmund operator $T$ as well as the boundedness of certain related singular integrals associated with $T$ on various function spaces on $(X, μ)$ such as the Hardy spaces, the $L^p$ spaces and the regularized BMO spaces. This article thus extends the work of X. Tolsa \cite{T1} on the non-homogeneous space $(\mathbb R^n, μ)$ to the setting of a general non-homogeneous space $(X, μ)$. While our framework is similar to that of \cite{H}, we are able to obtain quite a few properties similar to those of Calderón-Zygmund operators on doubling spaces, including the following for such an operator $T$: weak type $(1,1)$ estimate, boundedness from Hardy space into $L^1$, boundedness from $L^{\infty}$ into the regularized BMO and an interpolation theorem. We also prove that the dual space of the Hardy space is the regularized BMO space, obtain a Calderón-Zygmund decomposition on the non-homogeneous space $(X, μ)$ and use this decomposition to show the boundedness of the maximal operators in the form of Cotlar inequality as well as the boundedness of commutators of Calderón-Zygmund operators and BMO functions.

Sharp weighted $L^p$ estimates for spectral multipliers

Let $L$ be a non-negative self-adjoint operator on $L^2(X)$. Assume that operator $L$ generates the analytic semigroup $\{e^{-tL}\}_{t>0}$ whose kernels satisfy the standard Gaussian upper bounds. This paper investigates the sharp weighted inequalities for spectral multipliers $F(L)$ and their commutators with BMO functions. The obtained results in this paper can be considered to be improvements of those in \cite{DSY}[Weighted norm inequalities, Gaussian bounds and sharp spectral multipliers, {\it J. Funct. Anal.}, {\bf 260} (2011), 1106-1131].
