On discrete generalized nabla fractional sums and differences

This article investigates a class of discrete nabla fractional operators by using the discrete nabla convolution theorem. Inspired by this, we define the discrete generalized nabla fractional sum and differences of Riemann-Liouville and Caputo types. In the process, we give a relationship between the generalized discrete delta fractional operators introduced by Ferreira \cite{Ferreira} and the proposed discrete generalized nabla fractional operators via the dual identities. Also, we present some test examples to justify the relationship. Moreover, we prove the fundamental theorem of calculus for the defined discrete generalized nabla fractional operators. Inspired by the above operators, we define discrete generalized nabla Atangana-Baleanu-like (or Caputo-Fabrizio-like) fractional sum and differences at the end of the article.

On Hilfer fractional difference operator

In this article, a new definition of fractional Hilfer difference operator is introduced. Definition based properties are developed and utilized to construct fixed point operator for fractional order Hilfer difference equations with initial condition. We acquire some conditions for existence, uniqueness, Ulam-Hyers and Ulam-Hyers-Rassias stability. Modified Gronwall's inequality is presented for discrete calculus with the delta difference operator.

A monotonicity result for the $q-$fractional operator

In this article we prove that if the $q-$fractional operator $(~_{q}\nabla_{qa}^αy)(t)$ of order $0<α\leq 1$ , $0<q<1$ and starting at some $qa \in T_q=\{q^k: k \in \mathbb{Z}\}\cup \{0\},~~a>0$ is positive such that $y(a) \geq 0$, then $y(t)$ is $c_q(α)-$increasing, $c_q(α)=\frac{1-q^α}{1-q}q^{1-α}$. Conversely, if y(t) is increasing and $y(a)\geq 0$, then $(~_{q}\nabla_{qa}^αy)(t)\geq 0$. As an application, we proved a $q-$fractional version of the Mean-Value Theorem.

Integration by parts and its applications of a new nonlocal fractional derivative with Mittag-Leffler nonsingular kernel

In this manuscript we define the right fractional derivative and its corresponding right fractional integral for the recently introduced nonlocal fractional derivative with Mittag-Leffler kernel. Then, we obtain the related integration by parts formula. We use the $Q-$operator to confirm our results. The corresponding Euler-Lagrange equations are obtained and one illustrative example is discussed.

Monotonicity Results for Delta and Nabla Caputo and Riemann Fractional Differences via dual identities

Recently, some authors have proved monotonicity results for delta and nabla fractional differences separately. In this article, we use dual identities relating delta and nabla fractional difference operators to prove shortly the monotonicity properties for the (left Riemann) nabla fractional differences using the corresponding delta type properties. Also, we proved some monotonicity properties for the Caputo fractional differences. Finally, we use the $Q-$operator dual identities to prove monotonicity results for the right fractional difference operators.

Conformable Fractional Semigroups of Operators

Let $X$ be a Banach space, and $T:[0,\infty)\rightarrow {\mathcal{L}}(X,X),$ the bounded linear operators on $X.$ A family $\{T(t)\}_{t\ge 0}\subseteq {% \mathcal{L}}(X,X)$ is called a one-parameter semigroup if $T(s+t)=T(s)T(t),$ and $T(0)=I,$ the identity operator on $X.$ The infinitesimal generator of the semigroup is the derivative of the semigroup at $t=0.$ The object of this paper is to introduce a (conformable) fractional semigroup of operators whose generator will be the fractional derivative of the semigroup at $t=0.$ The basic properties of such semigroups will be studied.

On conformable fractional calulus

Recently, the authors Khalil, R., Al Horani, M., Yousef. A. and Sababheh, M., in " A new Denition Of Fractional Derivative, J. Comput. Appl. Math. 264. pp. 6570, 2014. " introduced a new simple well-behaved definition of the fractional derivative called conformable fractional derivative. In this article we proceed on to develop the definitions there and set the basic concepts in this new simple interesting fractional calculus. The fractional versions of chain rule, exponential functions, Gronwall's inequality, integration by parts, Taylor power series expansions, Laplace transforms and linear differential systems are proposed and discussed.

Dual identities in fractional difference calculus within Riemann

We Investigate two types of dual identities for Riemann fractional sums and differences. The first type relates nabla and delta type fractional sums and differences. The second type represented by the Q-operator relates left and right fractional sums and differences. These dual identities insist that in the definition of right fractional differences we have to use both the nabla and delta operators. The solution representation for higher order Riemann fractional difference equation is obtained as well.

On delta and nabla Caputo fractional differences and dual identities

We Investigate two types of dual identities for Caputo fractional differences. The first type relates nabla and delta type fractional sums and differences. The second type represented by the Q-operator relates left and right fractional sums and differences. Two types of Caputo fractional differences are introduced, one of them (dual one) is defined so that it obeys the investigated dual identities. The relation between Rieamnn and Caputo fractional differences is investigated and the delta and nabla discrete Mittag-Leffler functions are confirmed by solving Caputo type linear fractional difference equations. A nabla integration by parts formula is obtained for Caputo fractional differences as well.

A $ϕ$ - contraction Principle in Partial Metric Spaces with Self-distance Terms

We prove a generalized contraction principle with control function in complete partial metric spaces. The contractive type condition used allows the appearance of self distance terms. The obtained result generalizes some previously obtained results such as the very recent " D. Ilić, V. Pavlović and V. Rakoucević, Some new extensions of Banach's contraction principle to partial metric spaces, Appl. Math. Lett. 24 (2011), 1326--1330". An example is given to illustrate the generalization and its properness. Our presented example does not verify the contractive type conditions of the main results proved recently by S. Romaguera in " Fixed point theorems for generalized contractions on partial metric spaces, Topology Appl. 159 (2012), 194-199" and by I. Altun, F. Sola and H. Simsek in "Generalized contractions on partial metric spaces, Topology and Its Applications 157 (18) (2010), 2778--2785". Therefore, our results have an advantage over the previously obtained.

Fractional differences and sums with binomial coefficients

In fractional calculus there are two approaches to obtain fractional derivatives. The first approach is by iterating the integral and then defining a fractional order by using Cauchy formula to obtain Riemann fractional integrals and derivatives. The second approach is by iterating the derivative and then defining a fractional order by making use of the binomial theorem to obtain Grünwald-Litnikov fractional derivatives. In this article we formulate the delta and nabla discrete versions for left and right fractional integrals and derivatives representing the second approach. Then, we use the discrete version of the Q-operator and some discrete fractional dual identities to prove that the presented fractional differences and sums coincide with the discrete Riemann ones describing the first approach.

A Quantum Generalized Mittag-Leffler Function Via Caputo q-Fractional Equations

Some Caputo q-fractional difference equations are solved. The solutions are expressed by means of a new introduced generalized type of q-Mittag-Leffler functions. The method of successive approximation is used to obtain the solutions. The obtained q-version of Mittag-Leffler function is thought as the q-analogue of the one introduced previously by Kilbas and Saigo.

Banach Contraction Principle for Cyclical Mappings on Partial Metric Spaces

In this paper, we prove that the Banach contraction principle proved by S. G. Matthews in 1994 on 0--complete partial metric spaces can be extended to cyclical mappings. However, the generalized contraction principle proved by D. Ilić, V. Pavlović and V. Rakoucević in "Some new extensions of Banach's contraction principle to partial metric spaces, Appl. Math. Lett. 24 (2011), 1326--1330" on complete partial metric spaces can not be extended to cyclical mappings. Some examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of our results. Moreover, we generalize some of the results obtained by W. A. Kirk, P. S. Srinivasan and P. Veeramani in "Fixed points for mappings satisfying cyclical contractive conditions, Fixed Point Theory 4 (1) (2003),79--89". Finally, an Edelstein's type theorem is also extended in case one of the sets in the cyclic decomposition is 0-compact.

Locally Convex Valued Rectangular Metric Spaces and The Kannan's Fixed Point Theorem

Rectangular TVS-cone metric spaces are introduced and Kannan's fixed point theorem is proved in these spaces. Two approaches are followed for the proof. At first we prove the theorem by a direct method using the structure of the space itself. Secondly, we use the nonlinear scalarization used recently by Wei-Shih Du in [A note on cone metric fixed point theory and its equivalence, {Nonlinear Analysis},72(5),2259-2261 (2010).] to prove the equivalence of the Banach contraction principle in cone metric spaces and usual metric spaces. The proof is done without any normality assumption on the cone of the locally convex topological vector space, and hence generalizing several previously obtained results.

On Some Topological Concepts of TVS-Cone Metric Spaces and Fixed Point Theory Remarks

We prove that every TVS-cone metric space (i.e a cone metric space over a locally convex topological vector space $E$) is first countable paracompact topological space and by using Du's results in " [A note on cone metric fixed point theory and its equivalence, {Nonlinear Analysis},72(5),2259-2261 (2010)]", we conclude that every TVS-cone metric space is topologically isomorphic to a topological metric space. We also show how to construct comparable metric topologies to TVS-cone metric topologies by using the system of seminorms generating the topology of the locally convex topological vector space $E$. When $E$ is a Banach space these metric topologies turn to be equivalent to the original TVS-cone metric topologies. Even though, we remark that there are still some fixed point theorems to deal nontrivially with them in TVS-cone metric spaces. The nonlinear scalarization is used also to prove some fixed point theorems with nonlinear contractive conditions.
