We construct a quasi-inverse of the cochain map on the negative cyclic complexes of the second kind induced from the quasi-Yoneda embedding on a curved dg algebra. This gives an explicit formula for the Chern character of a perfect module.
We study the real-analytic continuation of local real-analytic solutions to the Cauchy problems of quasi-linear partial differential equations of first order for a scalar function. By making use of the first integrals of the characteristic vector field and the implicit function theorem we determine the maximal domain of the analytic extension of a local solution as a single-valued function. We present some examples including the scalar conservation laws that admit global first integrals so that our method is applicable.
We characterize how to vary the Abel-Jacobi map in terms of Schiffer variation. From this characterization, we will interpret the relation of hyperellipticity of curves with Schiffer variation and describe the deformation of elliptic solitons under Schiffer variation.
In \cite{kim11} we have generalized a tangency condition in the Treibich-Verdier theory \cite{trei89,tv90,trei97} about elliptic solitons to a Hitchin system. As an application of this generalization, we will define, so-called, Hitchin hyperelliptic tangential covers and show the finiteness of them among all Hitchin tangential covers.
We will generalize the Treibich-Verdier theory about elliptic solitons to a Hitchin system by constructing a particular ruled surface and we will propose a generalization of a tangency condition associated with elliptic solitons to a Hitchin system. In particular, we will calculate the dimension of the moduli space of Hitchin covers satisfying the tangency condition. With this new point of view, we will see a subtle relation between the characterizations of coverings and the singularities of divisors in a particular algebraic surface.
