Entanglement from holography for five-dimensional charged Schrödinger black hole

We study entanglement entropy in a non-relativistic Schrödinger field theory at finite temperature and electric charge using the principle of gauge/gravity duality. The spacetime geometry is obtained from a charged AdS black hole by a null Melvin twist. By using an appropriate modification of the holographic Ryu-Takayanagi formula, we calculate the entanglement entropy, mutual information, and entanglement wedge cross-section for the simplest strip subsystem. The entanglement measures show non-trivial dependence on the black hole parameters.

RG Flows and Thermofield-Double States in Holography

In this article, we consider a Renormalization Group flow of the Thermofield-Double state in a UV-complete description of Holography, by introducing a relevant deformation to the ${\cal N}=4$ super Yang-Mills theory at strong coupling. This RG-flow is known to have a non-trivial, interacting ${\cal N}=1$ fixed point at the IR. Geometrically, an RG-flow of the TFD-state naturally continues radially and inside the black hole event horizon and yields a Kasner-structure near singularity, as has been observed in recent works. We show that for a generic value of the deformation, the putative IR fixed point remains inside the black hole. By fine-tuning this deformation, the "fixed point" can be brought arbitrarily close to the event horizon, while always remaining inside. Physically, this distinguishes between the vanishing temperature limit of the RG-flows with the one at exactly zero temperature. We further discuss its general implications in the context of Holography. We also discuss how correlations between the two-copies of the TFD-state depend on this explicit RG-flow.

Analytical Theory for Sequence-Specific Binary Fuzzy Complexes of Charged Intrinsically Disordered Proteins

Intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) are important for biological functions. In contrast to folded proteins, molecular recognition among certain IDPs is "fuzzy" in that their binding and/or phase separation are stochastically governed by the interacting IDPs' amino acid sequences while their assembled conformations remain largely disordered. To help elucidate a basic aspect of this fascinating yet poorly understood phenomenon, the binding of a homo- or hetero-dimeric pair of polyampholytic IDPs is modeled statistical mechanically using cluster expansion. We find that the binding affinities of binary fuzzy complexes in the model correlate strongly with a newly derived simple "jSCD" parameter readily calculable from the pair of IDPs' sequence charge patterns. Predictions by our analytical theory are in essential agreement with coarse-grained explicit-chain simulations. This computationally efficient theoretical framework is expected to be broadly applicable to rationalizing and predicting sequence-specific IDP-IDP polyelectrostatic interactions.

A New Advanced User Authentication and Confidentiality Security Service

Network & internet security is the burning question of today's world and they are deeply related to each other for secure successful data transmission. Network security approach is totally based on the concept of network security services. In this paper, a new system of network security service is implemented which is more secure than conventional network security services. This technique is mainly deals with two essential network security services, one is user authentication and other is data confidentiality. For user authentication this paper introduces Graphical Username & Voice Password approaches which provides better security than conventional username & password authentication process. In data confidentiality section this paper introduces two layer private key for both message encryption & decryption which is mainly applicable on 8 bit plain text data. This paper also provides the hints of introducing other two network security services (integrity and non-repudiation) as a future work.

A simple 1-byte 1-clock RC4 design and its efficient implementation in FPGA coprocessor for secured ethernet communication

In the field of cryptography till date the 1-byte in 1-clock is the best known RC4 hardware design [1], while the 1-byte in 3clocks is the best known implementation [2,3]. The design algorithm in [1] considers two consecutive bytes together and processes them in 2 clocks. The design of 1-byte in 3-clocks is too much modular and clock hungry. In this paper considering the RC4 algorithm, as it is, a simpler RC4 hardware design providing higher throughput is proposed in which 1-byte is processed in 1-clock. In the design two sequential tasks are executed as two independent events during rising and falling edges of the same clock and the swapping is directly executed using a MUX-DEMUX combination. The power consumed in behavioral and structural designs of RC4 are estimated and a power optimization technique is proposed. The NIST statistical test suite is run on RC4 key streams in order to know its randomness property. The encryption and decryption designs are respectively embedded on two FPGA boards with RC4 in a custom coprocessor followed by Ethernet communication.
