An eccentric binary blackhole in post-Newtonian theory

Gravitational waves radiated during binary black hole coalescence is a perfect probe for studying the characteristics of strong gravity. Advanced techniques for creating numerical relativity substitute models for eccentric binary black hole systems are presumed to become more crucial in existing and anticipated gravitational wave detectors. The imprint on the observation data of the gravitational wave emitted by the binary coalescence enhances the two body system studies. The aim of this study is to present an overview of the change in characteristics behaviours of hierarchical massive astrophysical objects merger, which are the data bank of the early universe. We present results from numerical relativity simulations of equal-mass and unequal mass nonspinning inspiral binary-black-hole system in the Post Newtonian framework. We also consider the time evolution of eccentricity for the initial eccentric system. The eccentric Post Newtonian equations are expanded in the form of frequency related variable $x = (M ω)^{2/3}$. The model is restricted to the (2, 2) spin-weighted spherical harmonic modes. We conclude that for higher eccentricity as well as mass ratio there exist higher oscillation in orbital radius and in eccentricity.

Gravitational waves in the extended theory of gravity

Extended Theories of Gravity are considered as a new approach for solving the infrared and ultraviolet scale problems of the Standard Theory of Gravity (General Relativity). Observational evidence of gravitational waves and subsequent identification of the number of existing polarizations are an effective tool for testing general relativity and extended theories of gravity. The Newman-Penrose method is used to characterize the polarization modes for specific forms of $ f(R) $ in the present study. Both the forms of the $ f(R) $ theory belong to a far more general variational class of gravitational waves, capable of presenting up to six separate polarizations states. We have introduced new $ f(R) $ gravity models as an attempt to have a theory with more parametric regulations so that the model can be used to describe existing issues and discover different directions in gravity physics. The primary goal of this research is to look into the properties of gravitational waves with new cases. The model shows the existence of scalar degrees of freedom in $ f(R) $ gravity metric notation.

Anisotropic strange star in Finsler geometry

In the present paper, we report on a study of the anisotropic strange stars under Finsler geometry. Keeping in mind that Finsler spacetime is not merely a generalization of Riemannian geometry rather the main idea is the projectivized tangent bundle of the manifold $\mathpzc{M}$, we have developed the respective field equations. Thereafter, we consider the strange quark distribution inside the stellar system followed by the MIT bag model equation of state (EOS). To find out the stability and also the physical acceptability of the stellar configuration, we perform in detail some basic physical tests of the proposed model. The results of the testing show that the system is consistent with the Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff (TOV) equation, Herrera cracking concept, different energy conditions and adiabatic index. One important result that we observe is that the anisotropic stress reaches to the maximum at the surface of the stellar configuration. We calculate (i) the maximum mass as well as corresponding radius, (ii) the central density of the strange stars for finite values of bag constant $B_g$ and (iii) the fractional binding energy of the system. This study shows that Finsler geometry is especially suitable to explain massive stellar systems.

Spherically symmetric electromagnetic mass models of embedding class one

In this article we consider the static spherically symmetric spacetime metric of embedding class one. Specifically three new electromagnetic mass models are derived where the solutions are entirely dependent on the electromagnetic field, such that the physical parameters, like density, pressure etc. do vanish for the vanishing charge. We have analyzed schematically all these three sets of solutions related to electromagnetic mass models by plotting graphs and shown that they can pass through all the physical tests performed by us. To validate these special type of solutions related to electromagnetic mass models a comparison has been done with that of compact stars and shown exclusively the feasibility of the models.
